After Hours by Emily Boone is a story of 3 college students who break into the Salem Museum of Uncanny Relics, where they celebrate the one year anniversary of their podcast and read several short accounts of cryptic and mysterious happenings all occurring around the Town of Salem, slowly they begin to uncover more things about the museum and how not all of the exhibits may be as kitschy as they seem.

I've gotten caught up with the episodes so far and I can say that they are incredibly well written, full of the writers love, and oh so absolutely filled with terror! The first season hasn't been finished yet but it's well worth the listen as it is (it is on a cliffhanger for now but the author plans on releasing the next episode at some point in the near future- I can't wait) it's a story about the secrets hiding in the walls, the things that wait for you in the corner of your eye, it's a story of a bunch of other stories intermingling to reveal the inner workings of something beyond understanding, it's terrifying, it's gorey, and it's beautiful, Emily's description of scenes and the horrors that each character faces is simply amazing.

It's a 10/10 for me and I want you all to feel the infection that is ravaging my body as we speak.

There's content warnings before every episode so you can make sure it's something you're up for and it's really just a fun show, all the characters really like each other and there's so much chemistry between them all!

Currently it's only on YouTube but the author is working on adding it to spotify which will be awesome!

Consider listening to it! You'll definitely be seeing some fanart from me about it so you'll start seeing things whether you like it or not!

With her friends and new family surrounding her, Reagan finally gets to celebrate as she intended. She hopes her actions were justified, and she can continue her ownership of her company as rightfully intended. Right?

This is the finale episode of Season One! I wholeheartedly thank each and every reader for accompanying Reagan, Ron and Lara on their new journey together! Just watched the first episode of the new Penguin TV show on HBO Max and I gotta say, the girl who plays Sofia Falcone is amazing. She brings an extra creep factor. I’m looking forward for more!

At long last, Season 1, Episode 1 of After Hours is here, ironically dubbed ''Appleton'' ! After 10 years of struggling in silence and trying to get by the best they can, the Cognito team can say that they're making ends meet. But when the intruder alert sets Brett astray, nobody can predict just how complicated their lives will become. Please enjoy this just as much as I enjoyed writing it! I started writing this pilot in Dec-Jan, so any and all comments and feedback will be so appreciated. And if anyone has any struggles reading the PDF, let me know so I can amend it! Love ya!

streaming services should be required to put a warning or disclaimer on shows that got canceled prematurely. I shouldn't have to Google every show I want to watch to see if it got canceled, and I'm tired of investing in a show just to realize after watching that it's never going to continue. it's fucking ridiculous that we have to research shows before getting invested in them. I'm so serious when I say that I'm going to stop watching new shows altogether soon because it's just not worth it anymore. it provides none of the value that tv shows should provide (character and PLOT development, satisfying endings, twists and turns, literally anything that takes longer than 1 season to accomplish). I only have so much time in my week to watch TV and I'm tired of squandering what little free time I have on fucking bullshit that leaves me unsatisfied and pissed off.

maybe if these companies see the popularity of the new original series dropping itll make them scared enough to actually give their viewers what they fucking signed up for

absolute bullshit that i have to be at work instead of watching mcnulty's drunk ass Suffer on a boat. (i'm sure s2 will be a hell of a lot more than that, but right now that's the only part of the s1 finale i'm emotionally equipped to think about)

i know we're supposed to believe that he did remember lester's advice and chose to be self-destructive out of guilt about kima and all the other ways the case didn't accomplish what he thought it would. which, yeah, definitely, that's most of it.

i don't think that's the whole picture, though.

it feels weird to say mcnulty's optimistic, but he is, in a completely unreasonable sort of way. 99% of his actions in s1 come from a place of truly believing that he can save the goddamn city if he pushes this case hard enough. that he can convince people to stop caring about the corruption, greed, and ambition that is the foundation of the justice system to actually make a difference.

he knows the system's fucked, but if he can see that and choose to fight against it, other people can and will, too. but it's not from a place of "we can change the system", it's "i'm such a correct and special guy that i (and the people who side with me) can get away with doing whatever the fuck i want".

he has never in his life really considered negative consequences for his actions, despite facing many, hence his catchphrase "the fuck did i do?". he cannot connect how people treat him with the things he does.

so i can't help but think that part of him still believed that rawls wouldn't put him on that boat.
