It's unfair how time with you feels so short. How the last 10 years have felt like no time at all. I like to think there are other versions of us out there, somewhere. Maybe in another timeline, another universe. I like to think we find each other no matter where we are or what we're doing. That we're together and happy and I get to love you in a dozen different lifetimes. That's what I hope, anyway. And I hope when this lifetime ends, we get to start over and do it all again. you ever think about how Misa's lack of intelligence and the way she lets her emotions impulsively dictate her actions was kinda constantly made the butt of the joke in DN, yet she genuinely outlived all the dudes and dudettes who were always scoffing at her stupidity. Somehow this is even better to me in that she wasn't even trying to outlive Light and didn't have any particularly high regard for her own life, so it's not due to her secretly being the best strategist of them all intentionally either... Regardless of the author's intent behind it I like that it pokes some holes in their constant smug assertions that you must have the very highest IQ to be the last guy standing in the murder notebook game

I mean this with the utmost respect; but I truly believe that Mob Psycho 100 could only have been written by someone that “can’t draw” but truly loves to draw.

And as someone who is the opposite of that I truly appreciate it.

It’s about doing the things you love to do even if you aren’t good at them and not doing the things you’re great at “gifted” even simply because they don’t make you happy or fufill you.

Reigen really looked Mob, the quintessential gifted child, in the face and told him “you don’t have to do something just because you’re good at it, your powers aren’t who you are” and the body improvement club tells him “why give up just because your bad at it? You’re having fun aren’t you?”

Mob Psycho looked the world in the eyes and said you are more than your talents. Being something isn’t who you are it’s a choice you make and you’re allowed to make a different one everyday.

My initial reaction to this part of the Genshin 5.0 livestream is "Oh, this is the section where they address the Natlan concerns vaguely" but upon rewatching it I have to yield and admit that that's probably not even the main concern they were addressing.

Internally I think I have a lot to say but I can't really find the words for it, because my stance remains unchanged. I'm just irreversibly disappointed. Because you can't say "We also value every Traveler's feedback a lot" and not specifically address the tens of thousands (if not more) that voiced how unhappy they are with your colorism.
