I recently found out I might be an Aegoplatonic. I know I'm Aegoromantic and Aegosexual but never thought about platonic attraction. And come to think of it, I've always had less desire for interpersonal relationships themselves, so maybe other attractions are Aspec too?

I like the various relationships of characters in fictional stories(such as lovers, families, friends, etc.), but I've never wanted to have that in real life. I don't want friends just like don't want lovers. and don't feel love-thing to my family...It feels like having an aego-like attitude(?) when interact with people in general.

so the aplspec is just like any other aspec spectrum, in the sense that there are an ass tone of identities characterized by little to no platonic attraction/platonic attraction only in certain situations.

Platonic attraction is basically just wanting to be friends withs somebody because you feel like connected to them/you just wanna hang in a nonromantic and nonsexual way (help idk how to describe platonic attraction)

so there are different prefixes used for attraction, regardless of the type of attraction. So for instance, one romanticality on the romantic spectrum is aegoromantic, meaning your fine with romance as long as it doesn't involve you, or your fine with romance in theory but not in practice. So the aplspec equivalent of that would be aegoplatonic, meaning you're ok with platonic things as long as they dont involve you.

So you can take any aro/acespec idenity and like seperate the prefix and just splice platonic on instead of romantic or sexual

Examples Quoiplatonic -> quoiromantic Demiplatonic -> demiromantic Cupioplatonic -> cupioromantic

I don't directly identify with my characters. All my fantasies, whump or other, are third person. I've written a couple second person posts for this blog that felt right at the time, but I uncomfortably squint rereading them (and not just because a couple pushy submissives found them lol).

Aegosexual: The exact definition of this label is imprecise, and has evolved over time. Generally speaking, this is a term for those who do not feel sexual attraction, but do enjoy relationship-related activities or situations in media or in fantasies. The specifics may vary from person to person, but the common thread seems to be a lack of personal attraction, and a sense of alienation from the idea that lack of attraction implies the absence of fantasies, as well as the idea that the presence of fantasies implies the possibility of attraction. Aego fantasies generally do not involve themselves, only other individuals. "Aego" is an aspec identity that is used as a prefix, and can be combined with other identities such as aegobisexual, or even other forms of attraction like aegoplatonic
