new rules that need to be made regarding advertising:
no more than 30 seconds, ever.
advertisements should not be allowed to cover the screen or interfere with what you are doing
no audio without being enabled by whoever is unfortunate enough to watch the shit
they can not pop-up suddenly
or try to blend in as part of the website (think of that big fake green download button)
it should also be criminal for a website prevent you from accessing it if you have an adblocker
mobile ads that have like, a billion redirections before you can finally close it are now banned
mobile ads where clicking the "x" or interacting with the game instantly send you to the app store are now banned
using user data to target ads should not happen,
actually who in the fuck came up with the idea that it is okay for people to steal data and sell it, like that just sounds so evil!? what the fuck!!
and lying in advertising should be more illegal than it is
