Leon kennedy X gn!reader

It seemed like the world was weighing him down with each step he dared to take, anchoring him. But he wouldn't let that stop him, the heavy drag of his boots against the floor couldn't keep him away from his love. Hell, even if the world burned down he'd still make sure you were right there. Safe and protected in his loving arms.

Finally he thought, home at last. Away from whatever the hell kind of hell he faced during his time parted from you. His movements were almost sluggish, eyes laced with exhaustion as he managed to swing the door to your home open.

There, you were greeted with your, very tired, boyfriend. His hulking form almost slumped, as if he was to fall over flat on his face any minute. His eyes met yours, a shine of adoration for you breaking through them.

"welcome home, baby"

A smile graced your lips as you let the man inside before wrapping your arms around him. Trying to give him your best bear hug. You couldn't have been more joyful that Leon had come home, even if he was worse for wear. You'd always build him back up though, always.

Your hand connects with the side of his face, leaning up on your tip toes to press a loving kiss to his lips. Oh, how you'd missed the feeling of his lips on yours, how he held you in his arms and gave you praise after praise.

Leon mumbles a "missed you, angel" a huff of fondness coming from him.

You took one good look at his worn out form, clicking your tongue as you decided it was time to give this man the best pampering session, and sleep, of his life. He deserved it after all, for being so strong and brave during his mission, protecting the country from all those hellish creatures.

"c'mon, let's get you cleaned up" you chimed.

With a tired nod, Leon allows you to take his hand in yours, threading your fingers together, and lead him to your shared bathroom where he'd be lulled into a world of tranquility.

In no time your ran a bath, filled with warm water and all the bubbles someone could wish for. You even lighted candles and scent sticks, you really went all out for your boyfriend. The scent of vanilla and cinnamon was both comforting for welcoming, something Leon had been looking forward to.

You helped Leon out of his clothes, tossing them in the washing basket for the next days washing session. The pair of you entered the bath, letting Leon rest his weary head against your chest. The warm water caressed his muscles, such a satisfying feeling after being caked in sweat and grime with no way of removing it. Leon always found it to be such an awful feeling.

From there, you gave the blonde mop on his head a wash. He was due a haircut but, that could wait until he was well rested. Your fingers made careful work of massaging the shampoo into his scalp, you used yours as per his request. It pulled quiet groans of content from him, feeling the tenseness of his muscles vanish with each scrub.

You swiped back the wet locks of his hair, pressing gentle, tender kisses all over his handsome face. His stormy blue eyes gazed into yours as you pressed another kiss to his lips, his eyes were practically heart shaped as he admired your face. The face he'd been dreaming for so long, you'd kept him going. The thought of you was enough to keep him strong.

"don't deserve you, angel. You're too good to me"

Leon murmured lowly, humming in delight as your nails found his back, tracing gentle patterns along it. You cupped his cheek once more, pressing one more kiss to his lips and between his brows before replying:

"you deserve the whole world, baby, jus don't know it."

That seemed to make his heart flutter, though he wouldn't admit it.

Soon, your now relaxed and pampered other half was clean, dried, dressed and ready for bed. Accompanied with being in your arms, tucked in.

His head was stuffed in your neck, inhaling your scent that he had missed so much. He had a loose grip around your waist and your legs tangled together.

With one of your hands rubbing up and down his back, and the other tangled in his hair, it was impossible for him to fight off the sleep that pleasantly plagued him.

It was no suprise when you heard soft snores against your neck, a fond smile gracing your lips before you pinned a kiss to his head and decided it was time to join him in Dreamland.
