zionists don't realise it but saying 'this is the most jewish thing ever!' and 'people hate when jews do something clever' and and reporting it as 'innovative methods which carried out a precise military operation' and joking about ongoing attacks using everyday technology to injure thousands of civilians is not. good

Introducing my Pokemon AU: Subzero! It’s pretty much my replacement for the Indigo Disk (though it takes place directly after The Way Home, into The Teal Mask and then the regular Indigo Disk timeline).
After reading my story rambles, let me know if y’all want more of this AU!
The main thing about this AU is that some parts of the story were done differently. For one, the AI professor was NOT sent back in time, but rather heavily damaged from both the heavy amount of terastal energy consuming them and them fighting the Paradise Protection Protocol. So while they are decommissioned for the time being, the MC (in this AU being Florian) and the rest of the main crew start to work together to try and learn more about the paradox pokemon, and how all this started (since it wasn’t really answered at the end of the adventure and I feel like Arven would want some more closure).
This leads into their maintenance of Area Zero, as they would monitor its energy levels and activity, with Florian being the one venturing into the crater to keep the paradox mons in check, in which he would discover Iron Leaves. This freaks out the group, as they didn’t think any more paradox mons would appear once the machine shut down, so now they’re even more desperate for answers.
During all of this, they are using the lighthouse lab as a makeshift headquarters (sometimes sleeping there, but they still stay in their dorms), and one day while Arven was cleaning, he discovers an offline Magearna in its ball form. The crew manage to wake it up, and it starts to repeat the phrase, “Teal Mask, Indigo Disk”. This leads to the crew, now calling themselves “The Subzero Squad” (courtesy of Nemona, no one else agreed to it lol), researching and learning some of the lore about Kitakami, the Ogre, and, hidden away deep in the Pokemon League database, Penny finds some documents hinting at their possession of an Indigo Disk…
This then kicks off the Teal Mask storyline, as Florian uses the school trip as a way to research further into the Ogre. The only other major change to this storyline is that Florian manages to meet up with Ogerpon a short while after Kieran shows him the den, and talks to it about helping him and his friends back in Paldea. Ogerpon is hesitant and distant at first, but as the regular story progresses she trusts Florian more and decides to help him (This is why Florian had to take Ogerpon, otherwise he would have just left her in Kitakami to enjoy her happier life).
Directly after returning home, Florian immediately enters the crater with Ogerpon to try and find a connection between her masks and the machine. Finding nothing initially, he returns to the lab to meet up with the rest of the crew when the Teal Mask reacts to the terastal husk of the AI professor, waking him temporarily. After his initial shock, he manages to tell the kids that the mask is important to Area Zero, but the Indigo Disk is key to stopping paradox pokemon from appearing in Area Zero and truly saving Paldea…before he shuts down once more.
Knowing what they know now, the group makes a hard decision: Nemona and Penny need to infiltrate the Pokemon League to find the Indigo Disk, as the documents Penny found hint at it being in their possession. This leads to a week or two of the two girls getting super close to the League members, Geeta especially, and Nemona is the one to find the disk’s location. She has to lie to Geeta however (which she REALLY doesn’t wanna do but y’know peer pressure and uh yeah the fate of the whole region) to get her out of her office so that she can slip in to steal the disk.
Once she’s got the disk, she makes it back to the group, whom descend back into the depths to try and find where the disk goes, and then the regular Indigo Disk storyline starts to play out (without Kieran, Carmine, and Ms. Briar). They battle the Stellar-type mons, make it to the center, and out comes Terapagos in its normal form. They try to catch it, but it breaks out of every ball they put it in. In a fit of desperation, Florian chucks his bag at it, and Terapagos likes it and climbs inside! So with their ‘caught’ mysterious pokemon, they exit the under depths and begin the search for answers with this strange pokemon…
And that’s about it! Sorry I know this was a lot but I wasn’t really happy with the ending of the DLC (was still good tho!) and wanted to retcon it a bit to make more logical sense based off of the characters and what happened to each of them. I’ll try to flesh out this AU more as I go forward, so some parts of the story may change. This is just the basic timeline of events. There’s a whole Treasures of Ruin arc I didn’t even START to go into lol.

Oude Rode Ogen [Flemish/Belgian folktales]
When it comes to Belgian folktales, ‘Oude Rode Ogen’ is in a bit of a weird position. The story is common on online blogs about folklore or mythology, usually hailed as one of the most well-known Belgian monsters. But if you actually try to find Belgian sources or ask Belgian experts, you’ll find that the story is virtually unknown there, only being mentioned by a handful of authors. Therefore, I suspect that this was a very niche tale that only recently gained traction via the internet.
The name ‘Oude Rode Ogen’ literally translates to ‘Old Red Eyes’ which is fitting because the monster is a giant black dog with brightly burning red eyes. He can transform into a very tall man, about 2m10 (6’ 11”). According to art historian Hilde van Gelder, tales of this creature were told in Mechelen (Flanders) in the late 17th century. In these folktales, Oude Rode Ogen is a swamp-dwelling monster that takes children who venture too close to the marshlands. It hunts at night and sometimes attacks adults as well. Oude Rode Ogen is a bogeyman, meaning this story was told to dissuade children from playing near potentially dangerous places (and from staying up late, for the monster was said to eat kids who are awake at night). Vincent Menten, author of ‘The Beast of Flanders’, additionally claimed that the creature had the power to take away the ability to hear, see and talk of anyone who looks directly at it, leaving its victims mute, blind and deaf.
This creature was also known in Wallonia (the southern part of the country) where it was called “Le Tchén al Tchinne” which is a regional dialect for “Le Chien à la Chaîne” which translates to “the dog on a chain”. Hence, the monster supposedly dragged a heavy metal chain behind it.
The story claims that after several children had inexplicably gone missing in the region, locals began to suspect that these disappearances were connected. Rumors began to arise that the kids were taken by a werewolf. Eventually, a tall man was caught in an attempt to kidnap a young girl. He was naked and tried to run away when his attempt was foiled, but got shot. Instead of dying, however, the man transformed into a large black dog, which quickly fled the scene. With no other option, the people of Mechelen combed the city for suspicious individuals and found a poor homeless man. Though his connection to the city’s unnatural enemy could not be proven, he was found guilty and executed. To make sure the monster wouldn’t come back, the body was skinned entirely and the skin was buried underneath the local cathedral.
But the vengeful spirit of the creature continued to roam the area at night, in the form of a large black dog with glowing red eyes. Oude Rode Ogen is searching for his skin, so he can put it on and be reborn again.
This monster is thought to be related to (or to be the same creature entirely) as the Nekker, a Flemish aquatic bogeyman that attacked people who ventured too close to wells and rivers. Its name is derived from an old Germanic verb meaning ‘to wash’, referring to the aquatic nature of the monsters. Though the name ‘Oude Rode Ogen’ is very rarely mentioned in offline sources, myths and folktales of Nekkers are well documented.

9/1/2024 Day 1340 since - 'going public'. Day 212 of website 'outage'.
Secretary here,... We at - Unique Destinations Enterprise - and - UniqueDestinations.org, announce that Our - 'labor of love' - remains - LONG OVERDUE - and OFFLINE - (with Our materials - mainly withheld - from the public eye) - until the custom-built Visitor Tally mechanisms are operating as they should. (Testing is ongoing.)
(We - Ourselves -greatly desire to have the website back 'up' running. But, from Our inception as a company,... Our small Home Office has held an egalitarian position regarding those who could be of help to Our website functioning. And so, We have intentionally employed - folk and firms - from around the world - to help Us accomplish Our various taskings.
However - because of such things as: physical distances; miss/communication/understandings of language; and ('problem-prone' regional, internet reliability),... We have experienced a considerable amount of 'delays',... as each particular circumstance - has had their own 'impacts', and all together, has served to keep Us on Our toes, as We are confronted with persistent delay, muting, and mental 'modulating' of Our messaging. -It is hard to remain continually upbeat in the face of all the hurdles to overcome.)
We are aware that this prolonged delay period is - rife - for 'conspiracy' thoughts and criticism,... - but We try NOT to have any 'truck' - with that kind of talk! - (We have better things to do - like fixing broken code so new words could be imparted/shared, with the entire planet.)
When the website is back 'Up' and ONLINE, - besides the 'ample' auction item 'relic' materials - to view, read, and digest,... We will have a lot of new words - that can bring folk up to speed, regarding the next phase of Our novel - global - 'Presentation'/'Impartation'.
On the Director's Den page, (located in a 'button-press' off the About Us page - is a series of color-coded Letters - (compiled over Our websites lifetime), that are worth the time to peruse.
The latest message - The Post Groundhog Day 2024 Note - will have something, for EVERYONE - (ioho). It is a long read, but there is 'meat' there. (Mostly written before President Biden decided to step aside to pass the torch to Vice President Harris,... - We are pleased to hear U.S. Presidential Candidate Harris use the term 'Opportunity Economy'. That sounds a wonderful idea, - that phrase - encourages - all of us here!)
We, here, at A Urumalli, U Macinasar, G Entum - Unique Destinations Enterprise - in order to "fully express our findings" - require: Reason; Rationality; and Responsibility; to reassert themselves on the World stage.
It is to this objective - and aim,... that We announce Our endorsement - whole-heartedly, and without reservation,... to Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for President and Vice President of the United States of America, in the year 2024!
While time continues to pass,... and while folk continue to have one last hurrah for Summer,... We will be maintaining Our lonesome vigil in the office - waiting for a positive sign, from the 'powers' that be.
We remain UNDAUNTED in Our hearts, and minds, and shall continue to endeavor to 'holding steady', and 'fixed-on-course' - as We wait for the problematic issues to be dealt with and properly 'put to bed'.
Stay Tuned - We shall be back!
Happy Labor Day to all folk out there - who put the time in and who care about quality effort. - Kudos to you all!
S
@arimelber and @neildegrassetysonofficial Sirs, your names are included for continuity, and your possible interest.
@nasa - We include you out of Our deep respect, and to keep you abreast of things.

Me and Ethan had an idea, We want to share :) [MAJOR SPOILERS FOR RW]
CHAT LOG:
Ethan: do you think there were prototype iterators? I think like a really cool region could be like an iterator scrap yard or something full of a bunch of superstructure parts and puppets.
extra_ram_noodles: Maybe, But they would be limited to a very small area or even just a simulation, Probably very unstable emotionaly, And stuck offline, Not connected to any group or individual.
Ethan: prototype iterator groupchat.
RAM: Maybe, And instead of citizans they just have a bunch of slugcats in a big enclosure
Ethan: I think it would be funny that there's some group of random mentally unstable iterators that are somewhere
RAM: But they're so limited in what they can do they can't hurt wachother
Ethan: oh my god iterators that like take care of a bunch of animals on their superstructure
RAM: WAIT IDEA five iterators and their puppets in ONE can
Ethan: that would be so chaotic lmao
RAM: Cuz they're all running on the same structure The can would be a decent size of course but still chaos one in the corner, One spinning, Two bickering and the last one tired of it all
Ethan: imagine them scheming on ways to ascend in like a big huddled up group infinite slumber party literally this is an amazing idea lol
RAM: I mean, Why would they want to ascend? Like Gourmand, They're stupid and ignorant and have eachother and live happily because of that :D
Ethan: that is so cute lol
RAM: I am writing this down
Ethan: please do
RAM: you write it down too
Ethan: and when a slugcat crawls into their can 3 of them start cradling them like a baby and like 2 others try to stay as far away as possible
RAM: And they get all manners of gifts like clothes they've been knitting
Ethan: if you bring them something like a spear or pearl they will keep it and hang it on the wall of their can
RAM: :D
Ethan: literally next rainworld mod concept in the palm of our hands

TOME OC REDUX
SO i redesigned all my tome ocs (bar onyx, hes perfect and needs no redesign) and re wrote all their back stories too. all that info under the cut
Felix Kitsune AI Standard - He/Any Demon - He/it
Felix is an AI and the former guardian of Mech City.  He got infected by the virus. in an attempt to destroy him, the netkings tried to delete him. the virus and him wanting to stay alive. fused to be strong enough to stop the deletion. now Felix still gaurds mech city as a weird AI vigilante. but he can still lose control of his virus side and turn into a large demon fox. because of this, he isolates himself only showing himself when needed --- Sage She/Her Hamster AI
Sage is a hamster AI, and the guardian of Sancutary An AI built to be a surveillance and communication system for tome. Her friend Cherry is one part of a massive hivemind of plants and roots all through the region, she uses this to watch the area and pings the mods if any players attempt to fight or cause issues.
She lost her eye (and in turn some of her programming) to Lady Trojan, after refusing to tell the program anomaly where Sofdti is. This effected her ability to watch the region and things have begun to slip through the cracks. --- Mercury He/Him Snake Ai
Mercury is an AI built to be the guardian of Lavendera. he is competitive and cocky. trying to encourage all battle to take place in his region. much like Sage and Felix, he also watches over the region and reports to the mods if anything gos bad.
a piece of the anti-virus was placed in him by tigerlilly as a safety precaution in case something bad happened to the current holder of the anti-virus, and/or keep the region safe if the primary holder is offline. he can use this anti-virus in the form of venom.  --- Lady Trojan (Renamed from Lady Tigerlilly) She/They Chimera AI
Lady Trojan is AI Chimera. an anomaly. Originally a fragment of Sofdti used to keep Kajet sealed, after he broke out, she became corrupted. a conflicting desire to create everything and destroy it manifested into a drive to consume. she goes around stealing and consuming player character models, stray programs and code. Including a piece of the anti-virus recovered from zettos broken arm in episode 10. because of this she has visual aspects of all programs shes consumed.  --- Leon Formally Dragon-Bug/D-bug He/It Kirin Dragon Anti-virus
A mechanical kirin dragon anti-virus. a recreation of the anti-virus from fragments scattered after the end of the series. He's depressed because hes literally built to kill but enjoys simple things like knitting, planting and tea. His hair turns into flames when hes in klilling mode.

Turning on the news lately... I'm just feeling really gaslit by the news and the culture lately. I watch CNN a lot, for instance. They cut from coverage to BOMBED OUT HOSPITALS that were, for all we know, deliberately targeted because there were, supposedly, Hama tunnels beneath them to one congresscritter or another talking about it being "justified" and "the only way to get rid of Hamas" because they use human shields and that they'll just continue on with the perpetual terrorism if they aren't rooted out - but we're soooo sad for the civilian casualties. A senator gets censured for being pissed off that her people are being killed with impunity, meanwhile, no one says a damn thing about the guy calling for Gaza to be made into a parking lot. If you don't "support Israel" (the nation / government and all they do) you get accused of being anti-Semitic. In addition, in America, there is the whole, weird Evangelical-take on it that seems to have leaked into the general culture without most people even realizing it. A Jewish friend of mine (American) is scared to death right now because she's afraid of being attacked for being who she is, conversely for not being for the Israeli government doing war crimes. She said on Facebook that she's going offline for a while to deal with her stress, which is affecting her ability to live her day to day life. I'm an American white idiot. I do not know the nitty gritty of the politics of the region. I have no solutions. I'm just someone who thinks that war crimes should not be answered with war crimes, I feel like I am watching a very obvious ethnic cleansing in real time that is getting passed off as "fighting terrorism" and "unfortunate collateral damage" in a play-pretend. I feel like the American government lets things slide and aids and abets because of certain political stakes they've had from the beginning with a sidecar of Christian-superstition-brain-leaking into the culture. Maybe also a sidecar of "BUT 9/11! Fear the Muslims!" (forget the Palestinian Christian population, I guess, plus people with a variety of beliefs that surely live there). (For the record, I am actually a Christian, albeit a Progressive one these days, no longer Evangelical, a universalist and agnostic enough to have at least a little sense. So, this isn't me being "anti-Christian." But being formerly in the Evangelical / Baptist camp, I actually know a bit about certain "End-Times" superstitions). It's weird. It gets weird. If you haven't ridden that horse, you don't know the half of it, really. So, okay, this is the only time I've addressed this in depth on my tumblr, because I wanted to stay out of it. Why am I bothering now? I want to know if there are any guides or guidelines to writing my congresscritters about it. Sending a nice letter to my Senator (potentially reachable, he's the guy who looks like Mr. Clean and loves to troll Republicans), and to my Representative (Republican, but runs on bipartisanship). Is "Ceasefire" the only thing to call for, or should I demand more? How do I make myself out to make sure they know that I'm not "supporting terrorism" or lacking care for Jewish people / Israeli citizens? (How do I break some of the old indoctrination bothering my brain telling me that calling for peace is incurring a curse from God on me? Seriously, American Evangelicism is Messed! Up! Not like I haven't already done plenty of things to do that already...) How do I make it sound right? The last time I wrote a congressman, I got a dismissive form-letter back (It was over Supreme Court selection when RGB died, the Senator I wrote to was Republican and so I shouldn't have expected anything less). I expect to be dismissed, but I still want to say the right things. I feel the interdimensional ghost of my favorite anime character (Vash the Stampede) breathing over my shoulder and telling me that I ought to do SOMETHING to TRY to foster some love and peace in this world. I can't steal everybody's bullets and hide under a bar table like he can...

Right to left: Avengard (The Hostile Credence) environmental practice, Howie as an adult (Seasons), Bee (Seasons) Avengard is a city within the region of Aven and is under the protection of the dragon Willow.
It once stood as a fortress in wartimes, but within the walls of its former battlements, it has become a city of scholars and science and artwork. The locals have decorated the waterways with mosiac tiles and sculptures of dragonflies. It's colorful and bright, making this city beautiful in daytime as well as at night.
I don't practice drawing much, but this is especially true of environments. It's a bit frustrating, and this doesn't match my mental images, but... I thought I'd never get better if I let that stop me. Um, as far as Bee, he's older/thinner than I meant to draw him, but... I do like that his hair has a fae-like wispy-ness to it? :') Need to start remembering to link my kofi to these posts... (And I've been trying to post content there, since I've been too depressed to really be social and don't want to bring others down with my presence. It's easy to just throw my sketches and excerpts up on kofi and mostly stay offline...)

I'm not sure what to say about your situation, but I hope that you're safe and that everything goes well for you. Is there anyone you can reach out to for help?
My roomate's parents took me in for the first month until our building finished fixing the bomb shelter to be wheelchair friendly, (thats one of the reason i was offline cause they live in a place with wifi that bearly works and limited data reception).
Tbh i cant really go anywhere cause my jewish side is native to israel, and my other option is japan, but bec i was in midst treatment for nerval damage and how disability aid works here, i cant really go anywhere or fly anywhere cause ill loose all my 'perks'(stuff i need to get by like special equipment and meds)
(and i cant function without the use of cannabis and in japan if i didnt get my prescription there its tricky to even get into the country, even if i have a citizenship)
So im bound to stay here unless a miracle will happen and the pains will stop(also i have a rare condition that can only be treated at sheba which is in tel aviv one of the most bombed areas besides the south)
I got back to my apartment a week ago and im still processing all the stuff thats going on in social media, even tumblr became very hostile and i think its for best ill just take a break from the internet.
Im trying to stay out of the politics of it online because the rise of antisemetism& out right fake news is scary to watch, the miss info and even justification of terrorism going on especially in the queer community which i AM part of, is quite disgusting. Maybe its bec i live here, and speak both hebrew and arabic and ive seen stuff i wish i could just delete from my brain- but the outright denial of october 7 is dangerous for both sides.
(also maybe its bec tumbler is suggesting things by region but the amount of antisemetism, fake propaganda and lies on my feed just makes me want to delete tumblr all together so i think that ill take a break from the internet for now until it will feel like the escapism it should be.

Empathy Map
Secondhand Bookseller -situation; Hard to find buyers and sell secondhand books to them
Secondhand Book buyer -situation; Want to buy cheaper books to save money.
Instrument
The target markets/interviews are required to respond through messenger chat, and interview face-to-face. We prepare two questionnaires, each questionnaire containing seven questions that address the main points outlined in the Empathy map. One questionnaire is intended for target market #1, while the other one is target market #2.
Results for the Interview
Questions Target Market #1 :
What do you need to do to find buyers and sell secondhand books to them?
Answers:
Online selling and online transactions.
Post it in social media accounts or group pages.
To find buyers and sell secondhand books by meet them with negotiable price.
Asking random students (survey) to post on social media.
SUMMARY: To find buyers, they use social media and personal networks to advertise and sell their secondhand books at negotiable prices.
2. What do you see or experience when you try selling your secondhand books to potential buyers?
Answers:
So tiring and shy to sell books. But it teaches me to not mind other's opinions.
It's really time-consuming when I'm finding buyers. Plus, I still have a lot of other things to do so it's not easy to schedule my time in selling secondhand books as a student.
It was a great experience to sell my second-hand book to the freshmen since they surely needed the book that I had used. And they said it was an advantage for them to have the book for future reference because it was the one the teacher was using.
I've tried selling my secondhand books so many times and it has been a big help to me especially to my buyers.
When trying to sell secondhand books, you might experience a range of responses from potential buyers, such as inquiries about book conditions, negotiations on price, and the satisfaction of finding interested buyers.
Nothing significant experience at all.
I feel thankful that they actually bought the book even though it's a secondhand book.
A number of variables, including the book's quality, popularity, price, and target market, must be carefully taken into account while trying to sell used books to potential customers. The likelihood of finding an interested buyer and negotiating a price can be improved by being aware of these elements and changing the sales strategy accordingly.
Summary: When selling, they experience fatigue and time constraints, but also occasional success and satisfaction in finding interested buyers.
3. What do you say about “Preloved Book Bridger”, a business in CMU that provides service by helping you sell your secondhand books at no money cost?
Answers:
Very thankful and happy.
It will be a godsend.
It was actually a great idea. It was already conducted by the JPIA officers to connect buyers and sellers of books which was convenient for everyone.
It would be a great help if such a service is provided here at CMU.
I'm not aware of a specific business in CMU that provides such services, as my knowledge is up to September 2021.
Thankful
Good
There are alternate possibilities available both online and offline, despite the fact that Central Mindanao University does not have a specialized firm that offers services to assist people in selling their used books for free. These possibilities consist of utilizing web resources, taking part in regional occasions or fairs, and contacting nearby bookshops. It is advised to consider several options while evaluating each one's viability in light of the specifics of the situation.
Summary: They are thankful for services like "Preloved Book Bridger".
4. What do you usually do when you're not selling secondhand books?
Answers:
Leisure time for relaxation.
If I have time to relax, I'll gladly do it. But usually, I have a lot of tasks as a student so that's what I usually do.
The books just stay in my cabinet.
Just let the books pile up in my room.
Engage in various activities like reading, working, or pursuing other hobbies.
Standby
Do school activities.
Kung di ko makabaligya og libro, ang akong main focus jud is maka learn sa tapos e analyze ang data in a statistical og logical way, kung unsay angay og di angay buhaton og unsaon pag improve para malutas ang problema.
Summary: When not selling books, they engage in various activities, primarily related to their studies.
5. What do you hear from others about the act of selling secondhand books?
Answers:
I hear from others discouraging other people to not buying my books because of their assumptions that it being bad quality.

Empathy Map
Tumblr media
Lesson Learned:
From October 9 to 13, we make the Empathy Map Activity. We had to first identify our target market and request permission to conduct an interview at their convenience, offering alternative platforms if the interviews preferred not to have a one-on-one face-to-face interview. This taught us the need to be patient and flexible because some people are exceptionally busy, especially when midterms are approaching. We learned to adjust our plans to accommodate their schedules and needs. Therefore, we the group members are helping each other to accommodate the number of students to reach the answer that we need for our target market.

Internet connectivity was a real challenge during our trip to France. William and I had both verified with our cell phone providers exactly what was covered by our plans while traveling in Europe, and we stayed in hotels that provided wifi for their guests. (They didn't mention that their wifi service was awful.) TGV's (high-speed trains in France) provided free wifi for their passengers, but that didn't work well for us at all. More often than not, especially outside of Paris, we had little or no internet access. On a minor level, I struggled to keep up with my blog because photos often just would not upload. More importantly, trying to book train seat reservations on Eurail's website was an endeavor that required the patience of Job. Once I got the seat reservations made, I had to screen-shot them so I would have an offline copy available to show conductors when they came through to check tickets, especially in remote areas where I had no service. Navigating the roads of Normandy without the GPS built into our rental car would have been impossible, because neither of us had sufficient signals to use our phone maps or other GPS apps in that region.
I became acutely aware of how much I rely on my phone for nearly everything and how much I take for granted the ubiquitous access I enjoy at home. For my next trip abroad, I'll look into purchasing an eSIM card to help alleviate this issue.
