Garden harmony – fantasy adventure

Pixel art for today based on videogame Elfaria II - The Quest of the Meld for game console Super Nintendo. It was a whole age of so titles role playing game, 16 bit, green grass and adventures! Dragons and sorcerers, mysterious lands. And all the time for searchers of adventures it was opened a whole world! And, of course, to train characters and grind. So, ahead to the fields, lets run!

And this is my drawing for such theme. All the world – it is a big green garden. And everything is good here. Everyday it is sun and summer. There are only a strange ruins. And something underground catacombs. Such a steps into the underground world. But, usually, no one goes there. There are a stone labyrinths and it is cold there. It is waving a cold from that places.

But,  strange happens. In a garden it is starts to appear slimes. And hunting plants. Which are try to trick you with standing like a casual plants, and later they attack some who walks near. And from catacombs, a portals starts to open. And some monsters starts to appear from that places. And Skeletons too.

They are appeared a strangers in black, which are walking from one town to another and they look for something. It is easy to understand, that something is going to happen with this world. Someone told that crystal of harmony was broken. Which defense this world from dangerous creatures.

First thing, you need to go to the center of the world. To climb at the most high mountain. And check crystal of world. So, it is, already, starts snowing there. It was never like this before. In this lands no one knows about, what does it mean, when it is cold.

So, this is idea for fantasy adventure. And something like a small game. So, there it will be lots of dungeons and catacombs for training. And whole labyrinths there! And lots of useful items and artifacts!

So, now I think about such games-pictures. As a small stories. Maybe like demo. So, everything is playable, but not a lot of everything. And small duration. So whole world, and garden it is and summer. Dungeons and catacombs with labyrinths. And travel to the center of the world – main theme. Check crystal. Such a small finished adventure. It is only a picture by now.

I did some playtesting of my old unfinished Zelda 2 Adventure Map for Minecraft and gave it some updates as I found it was pretty broken in a few areas! Here's a list of the new changes:

removed some things

fixed command blocks at start not having buttons

added a button for turning on keep inventory so players won't lose their key items

Added signs to warn players that they should bring candles into dark tunnels

Fixed broken exit teleporter in the Swamp Temple

Added recommendation to use Optifine so that the player can see in caves by holding a candle/torch

Welcome to the MonsterChef development blog.

Monster chef is a passion project that i have been working on for years, and ots almost ready to start playing... is what i want to say, buuuttt it's not, and I've decided that i want to share its development process. so what is it? Monster chef is a minecraft adventure map that stars the player as a star chef exploring caves and collecting ingredients.

As you explore unique biomes and fight unique enemies, they drop items that can be turned into dishes and then sold for points that you can use to upgrade and unlock new things. these some of these dishes can also be eaten to gain new abilities to help you explore.

Final Bug Fact:

The world NEEDS bugs. They keep the soil healthy, pollinate, control pests, and contribute to the worlds' ecosystem. By the end of the century, it is estimated 40% of insect species may go extinct due to habitat loss. Yes, that is very scary. But with even one beetle spared, one caterpillar rescued, and one Hollow Knight comic of all things, things will change. Because I know there's a lot more Dewi's out there than most people realize. Stay curious.

Comic Thoughts and Pictures Below!

I wanted to put here how amazing and sweet everyone has been with this comic. I finished a 75 page comic in 3 MONTHS. I am at a loss for words. That sounds crazy and it IS crazy. But man was it fun. Even on days were I wasn't able to draw due to fatigue or business, I loved working on it from start to finish. And guess what!? This is my first ever FINISHED comic :D I'm so proud of myself. I know there's some things I want to change and the art is wonky in most places...... but I'm content to let it be. What an amazing summer adventure!

I'm hoping to post the full comic on another Comic website. I may or may not edit some of the art ^w^ So I'll let y'all know when I release it.

Interested in learning what you could do to help your local insects? This is the basic stuff. Maybe make some Insect Hotels if you have the time!!! And never forget to spread the word about bugs. They need our help just as any animal on earth.
