Brooklyn and Daesung are basically Kinsley and Mason. Like what could have happened if Kins got pregnant within a year being together! That would have been something! Thank goodness was for birth control! Do you think Kinsley would have put Brooklyn on birth control? Or been more persistent when she saw Brooklyn becoming more involved with Dae? Basically, yeah lol I will say that kinsley had given all of her kids a very open and explicit talk about sex so she trusted Brooklyn to be responsible but in hindsight, she probably would’ve pushed harder on suggesting that Brooklyn start birth control!

How long did Dae and Brooklyn date before they took the next step in their relationship? I know they did hand and mouth stuff before. Did she get pregnant in the span of just a year or year in a half of being together?

They were together for about 6 or 7 months! And yeah, they had been together for only a year and sexually active for only 6 months when she got pregnant 😭

I enjoy that Lexington comes too questioning what's happening. Why are they alive, what do they want. He starts off the questioning though I didn't grab the cap. Brooklyn makes the tactical observation. What are they waiting for and how can I make sure I don't give them the advantage they're looking for? Broadway is busy helping Lexington out of the rubble, pretty much carrying him, and I'm a little emotional about it. HE'S JUST SO SWEET Y'ALL! Using his big brawn best when he's taking care of those he cares about.

But Goliath isn't sitting in the mind of the battle at the moment, but the war in question. He has more information than the rest, but it tracks with everything Xanatos has done. He's not looking to mindlessly kill. He continues to want to see how he can use these mystical creatures to his advantage.

gale has a blue μάτι (evil eye) embroidered by his mother on the left sleeve of his robe. when he was a baby, he was gifted a gold bracelet with a simple μάτι in white enamel by his godfather. it’s traditional for the godparents to buy a μάτι baby bracelet for their godchild and it must always be worn on your left wrist. it’s not to be taken off, and if it breaks it means it protected you from ill intent and must be replaced. the μάτι wards off all evil and must be a gift bought by someone else. the reasoning for this is the μάτι is imbued with the good energy and love of the giver (this goes for all jewelry too) and therefore cannot be acquired by you, as is also tradition for any μάτι one purchases or acquires. his baby bracelet no longer fits him, and he’s never acquired an ‘adult’ μάτι, as he hasn’t yet found the perfect one that’s caught his eye.

he still has his baby bracelet, which he cherishes as it has never broken. gale often makes sure to keep it tucked away on his person (always in the left pocket of a rucksack, always in the left inseam of his robe). he keeps it close, as its enchantment is all its own. he thinks of it as a talisman, a shield, as a boon to his courage; the strength of his family and all that came before them remembered in a trinket.

My first day of kindergarten I stood proudly with my backpack on, hair not wild yet from the playground. My grandmother asked me if I wanted her to walk me inside and my bright little eyes looked at her in all sincerity.

“I was a caterpillar and now I’m a butterfly ready to fly!”

I should have been like the other kids asking their mom or dad to stay five more minutes but I didn’t. At five years old I was so certain I was ready to fly, to be independent. I wonder where that girl went now that I’m almost twenty one.

I should have been more reliant onmy parents before I couldn’t anymore.

Brush my hair and tie my shoes one more time, hold my hand in the grocery line, lovingly tell me to look both ways before crossing the street, make me chocolate chip pancakes in the shape of hearts, sing me to sleep as you turn on the night light, tell me you love me to the moon and back before closing my bedroom door. Please, I want you to be by my side with every step I take and hold my hand when I make mistakes until the end of time.

It’s late though and my laundry needs to be folded before I make dinner.

God, I wish kindergarten had lasted forever.
