[ID in ALT] I've made posts before about Talia/Dick co-parenting Damian moments (will never happen but let me dream) and this came to me in a vision. Took me ages to finish for some reason 😭 and then even longer to post

I'm not immune to schmoopy affection in fanworks. it compells me despite itself #anyway it's technically not that crazy when it comes to dick and damian. they hug! often! at least they did #it's not as big a leap to these types of scenarios #also talia ''somewhat absent for complex reasons on both her and damians part but very loving and loved by her son'' al ghul #you will always be famous to me #son of the demon origin...bwahhh #anyway. someone made a comic kind of like this/like a post i made abt this topic #but way funnier bc dick and talia starting trying to beat each other up #so go look at that as well #anyway. it's been a somewhat difficult few weeks so I'm. desperately trying to take it easy #i got some reading with me (first vol of kevin smiths GA run that i found second hand and jaimes BB run vol 2!)#so we'll see how far i get through those. considering there's demons in my head telling me to re-read things (LET ME OUT!!!)#when i finish GA and BB i do plan on rereading robin 2021. as a treat to myself #it's a run I've really warmed up to as time went on #I'm keeping up w/ the current b&r run even though it is. admittedly very slow w/ some weird dialogue #i read it for the damian content more than anything. also nikas back so that's neat :]#idk I have a feeling that after absolute power shakes out we might get some more creative team switch ups #so if anyone at dc is interested in taking over the reigns on b&r...that could be very neat #mine

#SO. I FINALLY FINISHED SEASON 2.#the finale was fun. i liked it a lot more than s1's admittedly #now i'm ruminating on the finer details of kuroba's side of it...#in my head the skit / segment for it would be called kuroba's melancholy so i might start calling it that #i can't decide if they'd still be there when totoko's reading her letter at the funeral tho #like i feel like matsuyo and matsuzou would have invited them to stay but there's a part of me that thinks they'd politely refuse #they'd thank them but feel like they're interloping a bit. after all the rest of them have known the sextuplets for all their lives #they've only known them for around two years at that point so they think it'd be best for them to leave with the rest of the visitors #( they also don't know if they could handle sending them off to cremation. they've had to do that before w/ hibiki and it was rough )#also i kinda like the idea of kuroba running into homura after the wake and becoming acquainted with her #probably stumbles upon her crying in the park and offers her a handkerchief & a person to talk to...#gotta put my head in my hands and sit for a bit #also almost forgot to mention : the earrings they're wearing are kara's white day gift to them #they hadn't gotten the chance to wear them yet...#osmt #osomatsu-san oc #mj ocs #oc : kuroba #mj draws #tw implied death

Daniel and Armand spent four years meeting up and having long, intense conversations about philosophy, culture, and history before they officially got together.

They had a very active social life and seemed to spend several years doing a wide variety of interesting activities together.

Daniel mentions how he grew increasingly bitter over the years. Things between him and Armand fell apart due to Armand not being willing to turn Daniel.

Daniel is free to leave at any time. Armand won't try to chase Daniel down if Daniel doesn't want to be there.

Daniel's alcoholism spirals out of control when he isn't with Armand. Daniel has been on the verge of death because of his alcoholism multiple times prior to this chapter.

#yes devil's minion is pretty dark and fucked up #but my hot take is that i don't think it's as dark as some believe it to be #or even as dark as this chapter suggests #daniel's recalling his ex of six months who he's still very angry with and admittedly bitter towards #while he's delirious and dying #daniel minimizes his alcoholism and how much it impacts his ability to function throughout the chapter #and projects the problems it causes onto armand #drift off to the terrors of the everyday world? daniel's alcoholism has progressed to the point where he can no longer function by himself #rather than acknowledging his own problems daniel focuses on how armand will let him run off and drink himself to death #shifting the blame to armand for not turning him #there's also been a very notable decline in daniel's functioning over the years #once daniel and armand spent their nights meeting new people and doing all kinds of activities #but now daniel has lost contact with all his friends/family and barely describes doing anything outside of their villa #is this armand isolating daniel? or is it an impact daniel's alcoholism has had on their lives?#to be clear - i'm not saying armand's a wonderful guy in this or that their relationship is healthy #i just think there is a lot more going on between the lines here #especially considering daniel was anne's way of discussing her own alcoholism #and there's a lot more to their relationship than armand psychologically tortured daniel into falling in love with him #tvc #qotd #devil's minion #armand x daniel #armand #daniel molloy

Do you know or think any of the past Halloween events will rerun? Like “Terror is Trending” or “Spectral Soirée”? Cause I wanna know the plots of those and maybe play through them since I joined the game late, but I’m not sure if they’ll rerun at this point

I HOPE so, the second Halloween event is still probably my favorite! (it's just. peak non-main Twst content. everyone is so ridiculous and it's so delightful.) the way they've been doing it though has been to rerun the previous year's Halloween event and then the new one, so Eng probably won't be getting those first two events again anytime soon. :( if you're okay with just watching them for the story, your best bet is probably to look up a playthrough of them on YouTube. just make sure it has the ending rhythmics, they both had super cute ones!

Eng sometimes does things differently than JP though, and I think there's been a bit of an influx of new players to both versions lately? so one or both might decide to do a big rerun at some other point in the year! or they might just start rotating Halloween events or something now that they have four of 'em. :U I admit, I do kinda hope that they rerun just so I can try to get that ONE Scary Monsters card I'm missing...please Twst...I just need one more...

#fun fact it did indeed take me until the literal end of railway to actually invest anything into train defenses.#both bc of the scoundrel's stupid railway board comp and also bc i wanted luxuries first #i only upgraded it because i realized it was what scales dangerous checks when traveling along the railway.#the scoundrel LITERALLY only invested in safety measures out of its own self interest #yin-thoughts #fallen london #technically speaking sometimes there's choices too cruel even for me and i do indeed go the heroic route #that's why the scoundrel has an occasional (admittedly usually actively dying) sense of empathy/remorse #it's all so i can (rp-wise) justify being a stupid soft rpg player in a playthrough that's otherwise pretty much purely a villain run #like at the end of evolution with the naturalist. if the scoundrel had control over their own account they'd go hanged man #but bc i got attached to him it's just scoundrel lore that they're a guy who sucks and occasionally does one (1) good thing per month #before immediately going back to being evil #they've really evolved over the course of me playing FL. it's been a delight to play and hopefully a delight for yall to witness #scoundrelventures

You know, it’s sad to me that Peach Blossom basically got nothing

He was only given one short scene in the story, and he only talks to one character, that being Dark Cacao. And most of their interaction was about Peach Blossom giving him food and directions, with whatever character work being pretty much Dark Cacao centric. And how he’s left, he’s probably not relevant enough to ever bring back in another update, he’s just a guy tending to a peach bao garden

I mean sure, other playable characters have been relegated to short cameos, like Blueberry Pie, but in Blueberry Pie’s case, she already has Ovenbreak, in which I believe she did have a small story, and she has relationship charts. She has a whole other game of context, and it’s similar with Peppermint (though I never finished Mermaid’s Tale so I don’t know all his scenes), but with Peach Blossom being a CRK original, he doesn’t have that luxury

He doesn’t even have interactions with anybody right now in game, which could be changed later and they hopefully give him someone else to talk to other than Dark Cacao, but as it stands he’s got nothing other than saying a Cake Hound bit him or that the thing on his head isn’t a peach

Heck, there are NPCs who have had more characterization in stories than him. Yes one of those is Smoked Cheese, but still

It’s almost like no wonder he just gets lumped in with Affogato despite being nothing like him other than more feminine appearances and being a new femboy, that’s the most characterization some people are willing to give him because there’s not much else to work with. I mean he does have a character, or at least things you can base one off of, but you generally have to look for them in his story description or some of his in-game lines, and I think most people aren’t gonna go out of their way to do that

#he got such a nice design and the devs do nothing with him #this is how he ends up how he has #admittedly I might be overblowing the whole femboy thing #it was a prevalent thing when he was first shown in the Ep 4 trailer and when Ep 4 came out #and that’s what I’m basing that assumption in my head on #but I don’t entirely know if it’s died down now and I’m overblowing it #I still see it but it might not be as common as I think #but regardless Peach Blossom still got shafted #and I really hope any interactions he has aren’t just with Dark Cacao #because that was the only character he talked to and I want to see him interact with someone else #Pure Vanilla for instance I’d like to see those two interact #I just think they’d have a nice time chatting while having tea and peach baos #anyways yeah #cookie run #cookie run kingdom #peach blossom cookie #rant

Vex is getting Morning sickness in search for bob she was pregnant for the Vecna fight at the end of C1. I doubt Percy and Vex have a private convo offscreen that now was the right time for a baby in the run up to Vecna so ya know. Vesper was probs a (happy) surprise for sure.
