hi guys i love zoro so much i might actually explode.

-zoro is a sleepy guy, so he loves taking naps on the couch. like all the time. you rarely get to sit on it, since his entire body is always occupying the seats. the living room is basically his bedroom, with him preferring to sleep there over his actual one. you've sat on him once, somehow not noticing the lump that was snoring away underneath the blanket.

"zoro, do you not like your bed?"

the question makes the man raise an eyebrow, what kind of question was that? what kind of person doesn't like their own bed?

"of course i do, do you?"

"do i like your bed? i've never been on it."

now you're both confused, but the man opts to just close his eyes again. you pull your lips into a tight line, deciding to focus your attention back to your book. conversations between the two of you never went well if they went on too long.

-zoro cannot cook. like don't even let him get near the kitchen Please. you don't understand how it happens, he could have a recipe pulled up on his phone and he still somehow messes it up. the smoke detector is going off, your pots and pans are burnt, and zoro is yelling at his ruined dish.

"it's not my fault! it's the stupid ass ingredients and recipe!"

you roll your eyes as you frantically try to fan away all the smoke. "how could it be the ingredients and recipe? you just can't read!"

"oh now you're being ungrateful, this dish was for us!"

"zoro, do me the biggest favor and never cook anything ever again. i'll cook for us."

-friday movie nights with lots of alcohol. thankfully you can both hold your alcohol pretty well, so drinking with zoro was always a chill time. your only issue was that you tended to be a little more affectionate when drunk, but zoro was usually passed out once you got to that point.

"cheers!" you grin while bumping your tiny shot glass to zoro's full cup of beer. he scoffs, but there's a small smile on his face when he watches you take the shot and immediately grimace.

"do we have to cheers every time we take a shot? we've done this about eight times now."

"zoro," you look at him pointedly. "you're really such a buzzkill! of course we have to cheers every time!"

zoro notices the way your cheeks start to turn pink and how you slowly start moving closer to him on the couch. he always tries not to think anything of it, but he can't help but think that you're a little bit cute when you're drunk. just a little though.

and that's usually his cue to put his hands behind his head and close his eyes, so that he doesn't have to deal with his heart pounding against his chest when you act like that.

"already, zoro?" you whine. "you always fall asleep so fast!"

-he walks around shirtless all the time. sometimes he'll even sport the shirtless and gray sweatpant combo. it's actually a pain in the ass because he's so hot. and you have a staring problem. the worst thing about it is that zoro is fully aware that you ogle him, but he secretly loves it.

"zoro, please put a shirt on! you shouldn't walk around like that in front of me." you grumble, but the way you can't bring yourself to look at him, gives your true feelings away.

and since you're not looking at him, you don't see the smirk that forms on his face when he sees how much it affects you.

"go back into your room if you hate it so much."

"hey! i live here too, i should be able to walk into the kitchen without you being half naked!"

-does not lock the door when he uses the bathroom. the amount of times you've accidentally walked in on him showering or using the toilet is actually criminal. and when you yell at him to start locking the door, he blames you instead.

"maybe you should knock, the door is closed isn't it?" he rolls his eyes as he towel dries his hair.

"you should still lock it! sometimes i forget to knock."

"what's the big deal anyways? you've seen me naked multiple times now."

-he's actually super sweet and the best roommate. whenever you're tired from work, he always makes sure to make things a little easier for you. if that means ordering takeout so you don't have to cook, he'll do it. he'll tidy up around the apartment, because he knows it bothers you coming home to a messy house. and if you don't drive, he'd drop you off and pick you up from work. the only con to that was he always got lost on the way, but it was just something you had to get used to. and you'd gladly wait as long as you had for him.

Damnit, you've inspired me. Here are my personal HCs for Science Continuity D&D night, please correct me bc I'm curious to see how they line up with mine.

Wheeljack: Likes playing characters that can a) schmoove, and b) deal the big damage. Most likely plays barbarian or fighter, though I think it would be immensely entertaining to see him play a rogue. Biggest detailer of plotlines, second only to Brainstorm. Always brings snacks to share, but tends to make a bit of a mess of the table.

Ratchet: Party healer, but in the "I'm a healer, but... *racks shotgun*" way. Plays a war cleric that hits way harder than it probably should. Consistently forgets about his spell slots unless it's time to heal someone. Trades off being the party face with Percy, but probably has the lowest Charisma score in the whole party.

Perceptor: One word - WIZARD. Amazing at managing his spell slots, always has something hidden useful up his sleeve. Just enough good dice luck to do some absolutely bonkers damage when he pulls out the big spells. Took a few levels in warlock purely for the Eldritch Blast + Spell Sniper combo, which Brainstorm refuses to let him live down.

Jetfire: Immediately strikes me as cleric-coded, but I can also see him playing a druid with low emphasis on wildshaping. Horrible dice luck through no fault of his own. (Brainstorm swapped his dice out with weighted ones, and nobody's caught on yet because Jetfire only uses that set as a player, not as a DM.) Usually the DM, but gets anxious when his players start causing problems on purpose.

Brainstorm: Sorcerer, 100%. Scary effective both in and out of combat. Has absolutely TPK'd the party at least once because he "forgot" to double-check the range on Fireball. Would've multiclassed three levels ago but Jetfire's too nervous of what he might do with that kind of power to allow it. Genuinely a great player to have at the table, but nobody's gonna give him the satisfaction of actually telling him that.

Prowl: World's most lawful neutral Paladin player. Absolute stickler for rules as written, gets upset when one of the other bots "Rule of Cool"s something, which is far too often for his liking. Put all of his non-combat skill points into Intimidation. Banned from DMing after trying to arrest the party in-campaign one time too many.

THESE ARE QUITE SPOT ON HONESTLY, I haven't played dnd in so so long so you'll have to forgive me for my lack of knowledge </3

I love Jetfire being the usual DM, BRAINSTORM WEIGHING HIS PLAYER DICE IS SO FUNNY TO ME he can't ever let this guy win </3 He'd catch on eventually.

Wheeljack would absolutely love to play physically powerful characters, he and Brainstorm probably put on funny character voices. Wheeljack's character would probably also be the first to die, he just keeps putting himself in dangerous situations for the fun of it.

Ratchet forgetting that he has his spellslots.. Someone has to remind him every time. He would also forget his character's alignment and default to his own feelings when making decisions.

"Ratchet would your lawful good character really steal from a marketplace?"

"..No but I would like to do it anyway"

PERCEPTOR IS A WIZARD FAN YES, HE LOVES MAGIC AND SPELLS ! I think he gets super into the story of a campaign (especially when Brainstorm is the DM). If Perceptor were a DM he would put the party into the equivalent of an escape room and it would take at least 2-3 sessions to solve. Perceptor probably has a custom dice set.

Brainstorm not being allowed to multi-class omg, the one time Jetfire let him, Brainstorm single-handedly hijacked the campaign and breezed through everything the DM threw at him (but you have to admit it was incredibly funny) I think he also makes a really good DM, crafts narratives so masterful it's probably moved one of them to near tears. He has much more fun as a player though so he doesn't DM too often.

Prowl.. NO FUN ALLOWED.. Things get a little scary with him when he's a player and he decides to just intimidate and sometimes even flat out torture npcs (and by extension the DM) for plot related information. I think he also slips out of character a lot when he's a player and he just defaults to himself.

In your honor, and like the gods intended,a party was thrown to celebrate your departure, and your hope for a better chance. Happiness and bliss were felt in the room.

“Congrats on the internship, babe!” Said your best friend, Gigi, wrapping her hands around your waist and hugging you from the back, peppering a kiss on your cheek.

“Thanks” Smiling through your words and dragging your ‘s’ a bit longer.

“So bad i considered becoming celibate for life” Her laugh bloomed through the streets.

“See? this is why you should consider joining Mina and i” She said while taking a sip from her drink.

Putting your hand on your chest, you exhaled heavily.

“The offer is tempting, but i’m afraid i have to decline, poly’s not for me, all attention must be aimed at me alwa-“

Your speech interrupted by a body crashing into yours. A noise of metal clattering on the floor. Followed by a groan, deep enough to know it came from a man. Lifting your gaze, you faced what was in front of you.

What a sight for sore eyes, you thought to yourself. Skin pale as marble, now messy hair tousled into his perfectly carved face.

Now this, these are the type of people who are made with love, his parents must have high fived while they-

“You should watch your step, miss, conversation with friends is…important, but so is safety” Thick accent seeping through his voice while whisky colored eyes saw right through you. Trying to not let your quick mouth get the best of you, a soft sorry escapes your lips.

“You’re so right, i should’ve been more aware” You said as you got up.

The man reached for his cane and eye contact remained, as if trying to state the obvious. A blush creeping on your neck as realization hits you, already bending over to help him get up, an embarrassed smile on your face. Tense gaze of his softening at the sight of your smile.

“You’re good, right?” Earning a nod from him.

“I could be better, but yes, uh…take care of yourself and…watch your step” He waved at you while the sound of his cane hitting the ground signaled his exit. Staring at his slowly disappearing frame.

“Why was he kinda…” You said as you lowered your gaze and playfully bit your lip.

“Oh no girl, don’t even think about it.” Gigi said and a chuckle was emitted from you.

“He was nice! but…he looks like he’s from Piltover, and i’ve heard a thing or two about those”

“Well…that’s gonna be your new reality in a few days, babe”

You sigh in defeat. Let’s just hope they’re all as nice and hot as him.

brief words about impersonalization and Kim Soleum (spoilers up to 161

Kim Soleum rides such a hypocritical line between believing this is all a fictional world and the realness of this world. I really don’t blame him actually, the combination of toxic work culture and the base setting of him being transported into the world is like really numbing.

I mean the field exploration team uses masks that depict them as animals and as good of an item it is for exploration, that is one of the elements that dehumanizes them. It’s one thing for the groups to be split into the alphabet but it’s a whole different thing when you identify every employee by their group. You literally can not differentiate the employees in the logs (I mean look at that interview with Baek Saheon, this may be a bit of a bad example because I can see why anonymity would be kept here. Ah but it seems to be like that with every document? Mystery person here, mystery group here, finishing team). It’s awfully impersonal and while an interpretation of it just being useful code names is valid, in a profession with a high death rate, I doubt that’s the only reason. Oh yeah, highly expendable employees. But we can’t say we’re killing people, dare say individuals with their own entire lives and histories, so company employees sound a lot better. Everyone perpetuates it, it’s easy, team members die quickly and often, deal with it. Except not really right? Being human is to inherently care for your fellow human.

But hiring employees with looser personalities does help in that aspect. Capitalism win for the Daydream co. I guess. I have a small comment about how the Supernatural Management Bureau (now what is it called in the fan-translation? I’ll replace it someone let me know, I’m picking off namu wiki rn). It does purposely hire righteous but orderly folks but it seems both Agent Bronze & Choi are affected by past member deaths.

It feels like Kim Soleum keeps trying to draw a line and it doesn’t work. He says that he will have left before [big catastrophic event] but unconsciously forms attachments super quickly. I think his time away from the griptok and wiki is really making him accept the reality of these characters. Agent Choi’s survival gives Soleum a little brain blast acceptance that character’s fates really can change. Of course, didn’t it take a shockingly long time for that? I think it’s implication that he was still using the same excuse of them all being from a fictional world to shield his mentality. Gotta do what you gotta do Soleum.

He does all in his power to keep as many people alive (because he’s an empath 🙂‍↕️, we know) but the hangman game was obviously super personal.

btw I think Soleum has a bias in how he treats “named” characters as well. This is just my personal opinion, but the relationship with Lee Jaheon felt purposely professional up until recently (say 130s or so I think, I’m just rambling out), since Soleum inner monologue tended to emphasize the elements he remembered. The reader would notice that Lee Jaheon really does care a lot but you might have to dig through a couple of lizard and defeating darkness through force comments. It feels this stereotype he has of the named characters stick a lot longer! It makes sense, in the kind of format the original records were in, they were in fact character stereotypes to fill the semi-anthology esque story structure (would it be appropriate just to say SCP foundation?). Again, this divorce from the griptok is what I think a big contributor of his reality check is.

There’s also this uh, Baek Saheon in the room that I haven’t talked about. Probably the meanest thing Soleum does in this novel is bullying this guy lol. But that’s because Kim Soleum’s interpretation of him is so overblown and far in time compared to the current guy we know. At this point, I’d pin down Baek Saheon as a character that would maybe let someone die but wouldn’t kill them himself (yet). But that’s it, Kim Soleum having read so far into his story, operates with the assumption that he’s a comically evil bad guy. But this guy, all he does with his hypnosis pen is hide away like a mouse? Sorry for being a much more horrible person, I would’ve tried stealing his items but he was doing something so pointless even Braun didn’t think to let Soleum know (now is that a whole nother thing? Braun being more suspicious leading up to his darkness arc? Yeah.)

Braun being an all powerful ghost story entity btw without Kim Soleum having to mask his identity almost completely was like the total kryptonite of Soleum’s “I care too much about everyone’s lives but I can’t do that because they are all fictional but also alive”. Soleum isn’t against making relationships but he often calls Braun his only friend. Isn’t that a bit out of touch Soleum, I think there’s a couple of people who would find a friend in you.

J3, for example, who was looking for him after he went missing! Actually, color me a conspiracist but I think it’s much less a self esteem issue but a reaction of realizing the people he’s (trying to) push away actually like and care about him. I mean he’s trying to get out of this fictional world. He doesn’t want the people of this world to care about him, so he’s shocked at the revelation that they do. So I don’t think it’s out of a dislike of himself but in many ways, he’s forced to act unlike himself because of this world. Well anyway that’s just my opinion anyway…

Kim Soleum’s monologue drives me nuts. I know! That’s the whole novel! But it’s something like Baek Deoksu’s style, where I sit there and shake my head going “Young man, I know you’re playing tricks with me”. I mean seriously, it’s not a bad thing. Just don’t make me work hard every chapter hooo, I’m a lazy kind of guy yk read for fun and leisure. ghost story ooo so scary…

Random fandom theory

You guys know how on Project Sekai/Colorful Stage, the dream from Vivid Bad Squad is to put up an event that surpasses Rad Weekend?

My strongest theory is that the only way that VBS will be able to do it, is by having every other band from the game participate in it.

Like, imagine a Rad Weekend created with the amazing stage design and direction from Rui and Nene from Wonderlands x Showtime, super energetic performances by actual industry "pros" like Leo/Need and MORE!MORE!JUMP, with original songs for all groups created by N25's Mafuyu/Kanade with the flyers and promo designed by Ena, and costuming by Mizuki... That would literally surpass Rad Weekend by miles.

And honestly, I know this is pure fanfiction and meta-analysis on my part and not based on any canon indications, because something I've noticed in most of the story events, and forgive me if this is already ✨a thing✨ in the fandom, is that most of the event stories have an element of subtly showing how all bands are interconnected.

Like Haruka being An's best friend/helping Kohane and Toya with the chocolate brand sponsorship event for Valentine's Day, or the pairs of siblings (Saki/Tsukasa, Shizuku/Shiho), or Kohane being school friends with Minori, Emu from Wonderland x Showtime being in the same class as Shiho from Leo/Need, etc.

Note: Other than Honami being the housekeeper for Kanade (and Mafuyu by extension), I honestly can't see N25 factoring in much within my theory but I'm open to suggestions plz

But idk, in my mind I think that eventually we'll get a random stage event where all bands are involved in the creation/formation of this massive VBS event where, idk, for example, An talks about her dream with Haruka, Haruka tells the MMJ girlies during a live stream (or Kohane talks about VBS' dream with Minori) and Minori, being the ever-helpful sweetheart she always is, says that she'd love to help! And convinces MMJ to participate and bring their fans to the event.

Then Shizuku tells Shiho that it might be fun for Leo/Need to participate and of course she needs to consult with leader Honami first, so she says yes because of course, that would be a great opportunity to show the record label that Leo/Need can handle large concerts or festival crowds, so it would be great practice!

And of course little firecracker Saki cannot wait to tell her big brother firecracker Tsukasa about this awesome event that some people are planning and how Leo/Need will participate, so he starts imagining how the set design and staging of such an event would need to be, and of course he tells his Chaos twin Rui and they both decide to check it out, which makes Emu super excited, and they all end up roping poor Nene into this, who honestly wonders how being the MC for such an event would be so nerve-wracking, and of course Tsukasa LOVES that idea so they volunteer to be the masters of ceremonies and he brings this up to Toya, who OF COURSE would never say no to anything that his "savior" asks for!

So although Akito fucking hates Rui and Tsukasa for being weird, he can spot talent from miles away and he agrees to coordinate the staging of the event with them and Shiraishi (though he keeps making fun of them for being weird).

And so, in the weeks before the event the VBS crew is still worried about the costumes and promos but in the meantime, while housekeeping, Leo/Need's leader Honami listens to a song by N25 while Kanade is composing or something and she brings up the idea of creating songs for the bands that will be on the event, as a way for Kanade to leave the creative block that she's been having for quite a few N25 story events, and maybe getting some help from Mafuyu in those compositions would cheer her up and show that music can be healing and that they can both get out of their comfort zone and compose for different types of musicians, and of course when Ena and Mizuki hear about this they start thinking that N25 participating in the event would be an amazing way to cheer Mafuyu up, and idk, I think this would be such a sweet thing for Project Sekai.

Of course I'm yet to see how the upcoming movie release will fit into all this but idk, what do you guys think?

Hi! I'm a big fan of your blog! I just this past week got into the gallaghers after stumbling across them on ao3. Every time I think i've found everything, a new surprising factoid comes out of the woodwork. They are so in love its inane and frankly quite worrying. I cannot believe more people dont see it with how obvious they're being.

That being said, I've noticed a thing about one of Liam's tweets and a song lyric he wrote. I cant find the tweet at the moment, but it's the one where someone asks if he loves Noel and Liam responds "yes I love him is that such a crime". I was listening to GGTIA and realized the lyrics "I'd get round to loving you, is that such a crime?" sounded awful familiar...He must have taken that response right from the song lol. Which makes me feel some sort of way. Especially with how awful (glorious) GGTIA is. The whole song is clearly a love song and yet Liam wrote it for Noel. And now Liam references his own song to say yes, he does love Noel.

God, I love them.

omg ahhhh congrats, welcome!! the first "wait.. hold on. wait wtf?? this can't be true.. oh jesus it's getting worse🤯" stage of getting into Them is a powerful powerful drug and tbh it never loses strength. we've been on this grind full-time for a year now (really no time at all in the grand scheme) and every day we're still going "holy shit WAIT WHAT??" about some new insane thing. (also how did you inadvertently stumble upon them on ao3?? what a trip.)

re liam's uhhh Everything. i regret(?) to inform you that ggtia is barely scratching the surface lol. the "crime" stuff in particular goes way deeper than that, ggtia is just one of many references back to a central core of sus shit. noel is a much worse offender in this arena actually. beyond his multiple ""jokes"" in the press about being attracted to/having sex with liam and the legality thereof, his most egregious act was writing this song, a demo nominally called "it's a crime" by fans bc he never actually released or named it, someone just leaked it in 2000. he later rewrote it and it became "let there be love," a trajectory we can all speculate on till the cows come home. he has since denied remembering this song even exists. (if you haven't clocked this yet, he's a pathological recreational liar and also has crazy bad memory issues, so even odds on whether this is true or not.)

also idk if you've dipped into any of liam's solo music or not, but ggtia was Baby's First Steps in terms of writing lovesick songs about one's brother. i can't necessarily recommend liam's music on any basis other than it being kinda catchy and p much all of it being incest anthems, so ymmv on enjoyment factor, but here's a brief playlist of SOME OF his more astonishing entries in the "im madly in love with my brother who hates me" oeuvre. (and then go watch the music video for "one of us," which might be the most excruciatingly raw thing anyone's ever done for an audience of millions, and is crammed beyond capacity with References.) there are a few of noel's songs on this playlist too, the ones i personally think are about liam, but diagnosing noel's music is a completely different exercise than diagnosing liam's. noel's very circumspect and art-first about his music, whereas it's pretty safe to assume most of liam's songs are explicitly about noel. the only one on this playlist with some potential wiggle room is "for what it's worth," which liam once claimed wasn't about noel, however his alternative very vague explanation was that it was possibly about his ex wife. which under the circumstances didn't really make sense. imo he just got a little embarrassed and backpedalled under scrutiny. here is noel acknowledging his awareness that all liam's songs are about him lol.

anyway! liam's a magical boy who believed in himself and never gave up and relentlessly wooed his big brother with mid music for years until that shit finally worked, so let this be a lesson to us all. NEVER have dignity, NEVER say die, ALWAYS kiss your brother on the mouth in public. the universe loves you 💖💖💖

—Tpot 16 Spoilers—

I NEED to talk about this episode, not for very long but just enough to get it out of my system

(actually it’s longer than I anticipated you have been warned)

WE ALL SAW IT COMING, DEPRESSION ARK TWO DID HAPPEN and listen, I was a big fan of Gaty and Two’s relationship mostly because I liked how wise Gaty sounded when discussing Two’s problems, and how even us viewers could learn something about them. But Gaty being eliminated, placed in the kitchen and then disappearing (kidnapping :[ ) giving us a very guilty Two is still something I am very interested about where it could go next, because let’s all be honest, Two won’t be grieving all season. I mostly foresee they’ll try hosting again next episode still in the stages of grief and possibly even break down. Of course, I feel bad for them… but plot wise, I really like where this could go.

And Then What Do We Have- - -

Book; I am LOVING her being able to make friends again, she finally truly healed!! Ice cube getting out was the best outcome between the two (if you ask me), and even tho their official reconciliation is a bit underwhelming, I don’t care, it makes sense, Ice cube isn’t a very talkative person and the fewer words she needs to explain herself, the better for her. Book being able to connect with Winner is also a great thing, and a great way to show how far she has come, plus, Winner really seems to have needed that. Pencil; Okay I raise my hand to announce that I am neutral when it comes to her voting results. I didn’t vote to save her, but I am not actively looking towards her getting out. She’s getting an ark (a big one too), so it would suck if she does get out, but she also had it coming. Now One thing I do have to say about her is I did NOT expect her being scared of Four to THAT level. Of course, it makes sense in a psychological point of view, she’s been stuck in the EXIT the longest, but the way she acted during the escape didn’t show as much fear towards him so I think it’s a bit more understandable to not have seen it coming. Another thing is how she kinda dragged her team everywhere the whole episode and more importantly, how they just let her do it (except Pillow obviously). This might just be me over analyzing it, but they might all be worried about her yet scared to do anything, and this is mostly backed by the van segments. They care (some of them more than others), but she’s hard to approach… most of the effort they put is or ignored by her, or seen negatively by her making it pretty much useless if not almost dangerous.

Pen and Liy; So first off, I’m sure I’m not the only one that remembers how as soon as Liy joined, it’s Pen and almost exclusively Pen that she seems to care about. Yes it’s because of old Death Pact and all, but she also seemed to take Pen’s whole "friends loosing" situation very seriously, which connects with the event of this episode. We know Liy always had her redemption mentality of feeling a strong urge to help to make up for her mistakes, something she talks about alot, but what I find most interesting is how she acknowledges her anger issues and mostly how she share them quite openly to Pen as soon as he talk about his own difficulties with anger. She found a way to help him with something she had to learn the hard way, on her own, teaching him the benefit while making him skip most of the bad part… and on the other hand, Pen took it to heart. Finally being able to let his rage out while still staying his caring nice self, while still having control is a hard thing to pull off for most people, and just something he needed in general. Not saying he was too nice, but saying he will now be able to act more instead of just sitting there and dealing with it in silence.

not rude, it's a valid question! tbh it's a combination of a couple reasons.

i started posting anonymous dead dove batcest fics long before i had the balls to make a tumblr. at first i was content to just leave them unassociated with each other because i didn't really care about them being tied to me. i made this blog to actually show solidarity to my partner who wanted to make a sideblog for Sandman comic stuff so we could cheerlead each other and be brave together, since i've wanted to make a batcest sideblog but i've been nervous about actually having to get it going. (mal ik you're reading this go be brave and actually make your blog so i can cheerlead you damnit-) only did it dawn on me then that i should probably mention the fics i've written on the blog after like, three of them were posted anonymously. and it would've annoyed me to have half of them anonymous and half of them not, because notifications for them would've gone in different places. i could go back and take my fics off anon if i wanted to, but i can't switch the account they're on without taking them down entirely and that'd fuck over people who have them bookmarked already.

which, ties into my second reason, if i made an entire second ao3 account it'd be harder for me to see notifications, reply to stuff, and post things for both accounts because i'd have to constantly switch. and honestly i'd be terrified of accidentally posting on the wrong one on a brain fog day. posting fics is always the most tedious part of writing them for me lol. it's easier for me to stay logged into one account and have all of my stuff in one place for me and just use the anonymous collection when i feel like it. if ao3 pseuds worked like tumblr blogs, where you can't see all my side blogs but i can, i would've used pseuds, but since you can see all pseuds on an ao3, i felt it was a moot point.

and the last reason is i just feel more comfortable being anonymous on ao3 because of the rise in anti culture. on tumblr it's very easy for me to just filter that out and find the people i want to follow and block the people i don't. i don't mind getting hate, on tumblr or on ao3. but i think, for whatever reason you want to blame it on, there's been a massive boom of antis on ao3 who are very entitled about how they read on ao3. i tag extensively, but i just feel safer from getting targeted attacks if everything i write on ao3 isn't attached to one profile. if people like a fic i wrote, want to find more i always link my tumblr in the notes, but if an anti wants to get huffy with me, they can't easily track down my other things. they definitely could if they wanted to, but being anonymous on ao3 just makes me feel more secluded, in a weird way. it's like saying "if you want you can come find me but on here i'm just a weird faceless guy throwing stuff in the void". i've used ao3's anon feature a lot, actually, i used to be a hydra trash party dumpster kid back when that was in it's prime.

i also used to be vaguely popular on a different tumblr blog and my main ao3 and while i think it'd definitely be cool if i got a decent chunk of followers on this blog too, i don't really miss having fanfiction do so well i got targetted hate on all of my fics from the same people, i had my fics stolen, etc. it was really exhausting for me. i have 120+ works on ao3, not counting what's anonymous, and that level of exposure tires me, even when i use my main ao3 to post things that aren't trashy. it's just a weird feeling knowing so many people are subscribed to you on ao3 and what if you post something they won't like because you jumped fandoms again, or you're posting something niche, or you don't think it fills enough fandom tropes to be well-liked. i used to obsessively think like that, and it made me not write the things i wanted to because i cared about numbers. and i don't want to slide back into that hole. writing on anonymous is mostly to remind myself i wrote this for me, and if other people like it, they can come find me, but i don't have to perform like that anymore. if i get a really weird fucked up idea, i can write the really weird fucked up idea. at the end of the day, just makes me more comfortable! but i get it's a super confusing set up from an outsider perspective so, i really don't mind the question, thank you for asking!!

honestly hilarious how many punches ive been pulling for fear of coming off wrong wrt fucking homestuck of all things but it's not just lame cowardice on my part like i think since bearing witness to the kind of insane fandom discourse that existed 2016-2020 i'm half convinced i'll be skinned alive if i imply something strange or unsavory about somebody's blorbo. but actually no that makes it sound like there will be tangible consequences for mildly irritating someone on the internet which isn't true generally speaking it's just the rsd/ocd and i need to get over the idea of people not liking me

i like that they view the songs and performance as one because again, the reason im here to begin with is because i wanted to watch cool dancing that fit my taste and they did the trick, and then i loved their music so v much. but i do wish they viewed their music as stand alone too <3 they have intense and intricate dances that they're not gonna be able to do once they hit their later years (if they're still together) so its like -.- look out for our own backs boys, pls

I put my long-ish tes piece on the backburner to take a break and write shorter things featuring my best friends elder scrolls characters from my mind and then I put THAT on the backburner because my very sweet grandmother paid for me to buy bg3 and. alas. look I can't play a game of this nature without fleshing out my player character far more than necessary and then I get curious. so here's a very shoddily scribbled bit from my very first playing-around piece (a rambling description of my character's extremely abandoned house)
