sometimes i hate how much ppl hate aaron and sometimes i also dislike people a bit for switching up on him so fast after TKM short story

let me say, he was funny from day one and ppl did not get that, and he was very so real too (atleast w me talking)

see, (NO ANDREW HATE BTW TALKING FROM AARON'S PERSPECTIVE) you have this deal with your long lost twin that happened to kill your mother and get you sober but also take you away from any type of social life with a deal that you two will stick together until graduation.

then a little bit too normal and bit too uneasy and weird runaway kid teleports to your life, lies and lies and makes his way into your brothers heart, stealing it while your brother keeps you away from your girlfriend. all while eye fucking the- now ginger weirdo 24/7

after all, it happens to be that the weird ginger kid has connections (and not good at all) connections to the fucking mafia. and also has a prisoner butcher of a father who tried to kill him and a hitman uncle who saved him.

then your brother starts to DATE (so not dating- says andrew) the ginger lying kid and you still can't even see your girlfriend while all you want is that and graduate.

this wasn't supposed to turn out to be a short version of aftg from Aaron's perspective but the point is, i would hate Neil a bit too.

Aaron said it himself "One of these days Aaron would love to know what about that mouthy liar had people bending over backwards for him,"

He didn't and doesn't trust Neil but would i either? Probably not.

And tbh, it isn't like Neil likes Aaron either.

The books are from Neil's perspective, we don't like Riko because Neil most definitely doesn't. We like Andrew because Neil does.

We don't like Aaron- until he gets a pov.

But always, some of us do, some of us (can't respectfully like you if you) like Riko, some of us don't like Andrew, some of us DO like Aaron.

the way that people disregard nancy’s grief in fic is my biggest pet peeve- like she didn’t break up with steve because she wanted to be with jonathan :) she broke up with him bc she was overwhelmed with grief from the death of her closest friend and couldn’t stand the fact that barb’s family were still wondering what happened to her - even going so far as to sell there house to pay murray to look into barb’s disappearance- Nancy broke up with Steve because he wanted to bury the trauma they had experienced and pretend to be normal teenagers. Nancy wasn’t saying that Steve’s love for her was bullshit. She was saying- look at us. Look at everything we’ve been through. Pretending like none of that happened, burying the grief I feel, that is bullshit.- She didn’t go looking for Murray with Jonathan because she had feelings for him and wanted to leave Steve for him. Jonathan, he validated her feelings and was willing to go against the NDA to give Barb justice and give Barb’s family peace. (Or as much peace that can come from at least knowing that they don’t have to wonder where their daughter is any longer- to know that in the least she is no longer suffering.) That was what was most important to Nancy. And being validated in those feelings and seeing that Jonathan could truly empathize with her grief after believing he had lost his brother and that he would be there for her and support her in doing what she believed to be the most important thing she could do- that inspired romantic feelings and led them to get together.

Some of y’all write her like she’s this heartless one dimensional person who just left Steve in the dust because she wanted another guy and that is a huge disservice to her character.

Katsuki is crying, uncontrollably mind you, in front of all the most important people in his life. In front of his parents, in front of his hero, in front of his oldest friend, he is crying as if he lost his dream... because he thinks he did.

Not because of the permanent damage to his arm, no. Fuck his arm. Did not shed one tear over that. Barely even blinked. No he's crying because his dream included IZUKU.

"For the rest of our lives..."

For. The. Rest. Of. OUR. Lives!

When he looked at his future he saw them together for the rest of their lives! When he looked at his future all he saw was Izuku. And he thinks he's lost his only way to that future.

"What the hell did I do to you?"

This right here is where we hit misunderstanding central. He's admitting here that without their rivalry, he does not deserve to stand next to Izuku. Even in this vision of their future together that he concocted in his mind, he even says "and I would be on your heels"... He's saying: You were always my future but I know my place... You've looked at my back too long and I was perfectly fine with a future where all I can do is look at yours... But now that's gone. What have I done?

And his only consolation? An emotionally constipated Izuku, trying to hold back tears for ONCE in his life because he KNOWS- he KNOWS he needs to be strong while Katsuki crumbles, but that's all he can do. Because there is a second misunderstanding here.

While Katsuki believes that they could only be together if it was in this one capacity-- Izuku is thinking the EXACT same thing! He thinks he could only stand next to Katsuki if he was a hero. And all he can do now is offer the very last of what's left of that dream. As if saying: Wait! We have a little more time left...if you'll have me, I still have this ember. Shortly followed by a: But you're probably just emotional right now! As if to say: You probably won't care this much once you rest...

Both so close, and yet still missing each other.

Thank Horikoshi that Toshinori is there to be like: The two of you ARE still heroes and will always be heroes. You are MY heroes and now the worlds as well. Restoring them as a pair. Allowing them to cry together and ultimately smile together. Mourning the future they thought was ahead of them while simultaneously celebrating that they at least made it here.

The nuance, the layers, the honesty... Horikoshi is blowing me away... I can't wait to see the new future they create together.

I have found a few interpretations I can maybe like, but most I have found do not do Killer’s character any justice whatsoever and frankly I just feel Nightmare ugly ass doesn’t deserve Killer and he should keep his funky disgusting tentacles away from him. And I don’t see any reason why theyd be interested in eachother beyond a power dynamic.
