Not to sound too mean but what do you expect me to do? I get that sapphic ships get overshadowed and underrated all the time in comparison to achillean ones. Believe me. I am a lesbian who is constantly pushing their sapphic ships everywhere.

But you can't expect people to suddenly stop posting about the achillean ships they enjoy just because they're more popular than YOUR favorite ships. Is it bothersome that achillean ships get more attention for the sole reason of being a male pairing while sapphic ships get ignored or not even suggested? Yeah!!!! It's frustrating.

But if you want some change in the amount of content you see then it's YOUR fight only and others should be allowed to post whatever they like. If you want to post only sapphic ships or you're bothered by them being talked in the same light as achillean ones, then it's YOUR choice to make.

Fandom is NOT activism!!! Fandom is meant to be enjoyed in whatever way you want. Fandom is to interpret media in your own way. So, honestly, if I want to make a simple post comparing two ships I like, why should I be trying to defend myself here for that? If people don't like it, then they can just block me, scroll, move on, etc.

To think a post about comparing fictional ships is insensitive is insane to me, tbh.

i rly hate how a bisexual character needs to basically literally say "i am bisexual" for people to stop insisting that it's "open to interpretation" and "implied at best"/"just implied" and "could totally just be comphet" and even then you'll still get people erasing their bisexuality

But a male character has to only show attraction to another male character once or a female character has to even just show disdain for men and now they're "canonically gay/lesbian" and don't you dare even consider that they could be bisexual!

all that attention. all those eyes on you at all times. your every move scrutinized by the world. you make sure to keep your crown up right and your appearance put together but it’s just so hard.

so hard when you can feel a certain pair of eyeballs digging into the back of your head. you mixed and mingled your way through the party but all you wanted was to be back in the arms of your lover. the lover who held you with such a comforting warmth that made it hard to have to get up in the morning. the lover who called your ‘his prince’ with that perfect deep, smooth voice. all you could do is think of him.

the princesses all melded together after awhile and it came at an immense relief when you found out that the party was over. that meant sleep. that meant love. that meant you could see him again.

you got back to your chamber and changed into your night garment, you feel a presence. you let out a small breath. you turn and hold our your open arms, waiting for your knight- your lover -to walk into your arms. today was long and he knew how draining it was to keep up the mask for that long. he held your embrace then suddenly picked you up, gently lifting you a couple inches off the ground.

you felt safe. he was here for you. he was your knight in shining armor. he was saving the helpless prince. you knew that you would wake up the next morning with him running his fingers through your soft locks. everything was going to be okay.
