i made a new demifemme flag because i... simply didn't like the other ones...
anyone that identifies as demifemme is free to use this :)
demifemme definition: someone whose gender is partly fingender (feminine in nature) and partly another non-binary gender.
similar to demigirl, but made for those that don't feel comfortable being referred to with that gendered term.

from the almost 32 year old butch dyke who has been getting called both of those things my whole life, i just wanted to say that if you feel you are or want to be a butch dyke, you are one. it doesn't matter. cis, trans, gender non conforming, whatever else, if you say you're butch, you're butch.
transfemme butch dykes are not obligated to perform womanhood in any way for you, if we are women. transfemme butch lesbians are butches no matter how masculine, no matter if we take HRT or not, no matter how we dress or if we identify as men in some way. transmasc butches are part of the butch & lesbian communities if they say they are. nothing about being transmasculine means you are not a butch dyke. transmasculinity does not disqualify you from lesbianism, sapphicism, or being a butch or dyke. transfeminine and transmasculine dykes have been a part of the lesbian community since the beginning.
genderqueer, non binary, agender, abinary, two-spirit, bigender, multigender, and "other" gender butches are butch dykes. nothing about being part of a "third" or "other" gender disqualifies anyone from being a butch dyke. the butch community has historically been full of people with unique and different experiences with gender. many butch dykes feel they experience multiple genders. many feel they experience no gender at all. many have fluctuating experiences with gender.
intersex butches are butch dykes. it does not matter if they are a cis identifying woman and their body looks masculine, it does not matter if they are a cis identifying man and their body looks feminine, it does not matter what combination of secondary sex characteristics they may have, it does not matter what genitals they have, and it does not matter if they are trans, genderfluid, isogender, intergender, or cis- all intersex butch dykes are butch dykes because we say we are.
there are a lot and i mean a LOT of people who fall under this umbrella. a lot of people are called butch and dyke who don't even identify that way. many queer people develop a strong connection with the labels because of how much they are referred to by these terms, even if they do not fall under the strict "woman loving woman" definition. the butch community has never been here solely for masculine cis women- it is for all women, men, and people who identify as butches, studs, bois, lesboys, guydykes, lesboys and other masculine lesbians, sapphics & dykes. if you feel you identify as a butch dyke, we welcome you with open arms. diversity is what makes our community strong.

Quasaric
An orientation label for anyone- regardless of gender, personal alignment(s), or anything else -who is attracted to / prefers to partner with those who are not Binary / Xorgender ( regardless of their alignment / unalignment or any other factors. )
This can include ( but is not limited to ) those who are Agender, Abinary, Atrinary, Anonbinary, Midbinary, Nonbinary, Genderqueer, Xenic, Masc-aligned, Fem-aligned, Unaligned, Androgynous-aligned, and much much more!
( Any future terms which may fit the above definition but are not directly stated or currently exist are also included. )
This is an intentionally broad term and is meant to parallel Uranic, Neptunic, and Saturnic. However, unlike these terms, it is not limited to any form of alignment in it's definition ( e.g. Uranic only includes Masc-aligned nbs, Neptunic only includes Fem-aligned nbs, and Saturnic only includes Androgynous-aligned nbs ) and it explicitly includes attraction to everyone who is not Binary / Xorgender, not just Nonbinary individuals.
All Aspec and Anattractional individuals are welcome to it as well, including Oriented Anattractional and Oriented Aspec individuals! The coiner is Aspec and will not gatekeep anyone who feels that this term- or it's future subterms -are useful to them in some way.
I made this as a personal term for myself and a friend, as I am Multigender + Genderqueer and wanted a label which was not Juvelic ( i.e. did not factor in my gender, as it is flux ), did not include attraction to any Binary / Xorgenders ( I am Dionifreyic ), and also did not require me to label myself or my partner as Nonbinary to be included.

To add onto the other anon: I’m also perisex afab but grew up barred from much of mainstream femininity because of a mixture of racialization, trauma, isolation, and restrictive religion. What I was and wasn’t allowed access to was often arbitrary and even contradictory. It was only as an adult that I was free to explore feminine forms of expression beyond the misogynistic attempts to cover and degender my body. Being able to wear tight fitting clothes and enjoy the shape of my body for the first time, and experiment with my hair and makeup, was genuinely euphoric.
I am abinary and don’t align myself with femininity or masculinity or androgyny as labels, but I certainly resonate with aspects of the transfem experience. My best friend is a newly-out trans girl and helping her through the early stages of her transition absolutely feels sometimes like I’m seeing a past version of myself who was finally free to explore these same things that had been so faraway for so long.
Yet again it feels like the problem stems from a lack of understanding of intersectionality and how there is no such thing as a universal experience <3
This one I am going to add to because it’s a little more relevant.
My mom is another person who, I bet if I were to talk to her about it, would feel this same connection with trans women in claiming her femininity.
Her mother had my uncle first, and my uncle was born with a lifelong disability. Then my mom was born. My grandma’s hands were full already and so she made her own life easier by keeping my mom’s hair short so it was easier to take care of, and ended up dressing her in hand-me-downs from my uncle and other more masculine clothes until around her teen years when she was finally allowed to make those choices for herself.
And while I haven’t talked a lot to her about this, it’s really interesting that this manifested itself in her forcing femininity onto me when I was a child to “save me from the same mockery she went through of being called a boy over how she was forced to present”. Which clashed heavily with the fact I did actually want to look like a boy. But anyway, I’m digressing now.
I think it’s always better to look for ways there are similarities between experiences than insisting that experiences MUST only and exclusively belong to a single group.

Xenic Gender Presentations
[PT: Xenic Gender Presentations]
Hi! I wanted to purpose the idea for some gender presentation similar to terms like, Bear, Twink, Otter, Femme, Butch, Futch, etc. Under this divider, each of the descriptions for them! I hope that it’s okay, I did use the descriptions from like Stag, Swan, and Fox witch is for Abinary individuals. These terms are for Xenic(link) folks.
Also! These are NOT xenogenders, please do not tag them as such (it’s tagged on this post as such for reach)
Tumblr media
Shark, an xenic person who queers and subverts masculine in a distinct xenic way while rejecting cisnormative ideas of what it means to be masculine and rejecting binary concepts of gender.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lionfish, an xenic person who queers and subverts Feminine in a distinct xenic way while rejecting cisnormative ideas of what it means to be feminine and rejecting binary concepts of gender.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jellyfish, an xenic person who presents themselves outside the gender binary, and rejects binary concepts of gender presentation.

Tumblr media
Aporvir: A term for someone whose male and/or male-aligned gender is aligned to qualities or attributes that aren’t masculine, feminine, or gender neutral in nature.
Tumblr media
Aporlier: A term for someone whose female and/or female-aligned gender is aligned to qualities or attributes that aren’t masculine, feminine, or gender neutral in nature.
————————————————————
These terms are somewhat based on the already existing term Neuvir, which is similar but is connected to being gender neutral rather than Aporine, an Abinary Allogender quality, and/or any other qualities.
An example of another quality could be one that belongs to someone’s self identity rather than specifically their gender.
The definition for these terms are broad even though they have semi-specific names, so I may add other things to call them later.
