Closed Starter For @princewithangerissues

The house was surprisingly quiet this night, usually the human kid Aby and his adopted father Gaster would do late night research on the lab or use this shift as an opportunity to clean up the used lab equipment for the next day's round.

But this time things were a little bit different, as Aby has planned to host a sleep over at his house with his adopted sister Ember, with them convincing Gaster to take the night off and go spend some time with his old friend Asgore back in the Gardens, leaving the two kids alone for the night.

"Are you sure it's safe to come down here without your father around? I mean isn't this machines dangerous?" The girl asked as they both walked down the stairs and into the underground lab located under Aby and Gaster's house in the basement.

Aby rolled his eyes as he turned on the lights and started walking towards a huge ring-shaped machine in the middle of the room, connected from all sides by thick cables.

"Come Emby, I mess with this machines everyday, I would know if they were dangerous" He smirked and winked at her, who just sighed.

"Oh? Isn't your job just cleaning the beakers and cleaning the lab?" She teased him.

The boy opened his mouth to reply but then had an idea, quickly running towards the ring machine, crossing his arms and smiling pridefully.

"Would a simple cleaner boy know how to operate this...uuuuh..." He looked at the machine, trying to remember what it did.

Ember just crossed her arms and smirked, enjoying seeing his brother fumble his attempt to puff his ego.

"...You don't even know what this does, do you?"

Aby's face was flushed with embarrassment "Of course I  do! I just uh...Forgot it's name! I will prove it!" Without thinking he pressed the big red button on the side of the machine, by now Ember was right beside him.

Nothing happened for a few minutes, to the point where both of them walked under the ring to see if any lights were turning on.

"...Does...this even work?" She asked knocking on the metal frame and scratching her head.

Suddenly the machine sprung to life, a portal big enough to swallow them whole appeared right where they stood as the two kids were transported somewhere completely different in less than a second.

This new place seemed to be the side of a wide river in the middle of a glacial area. The two were extremely confused, they could barely process what just happened because of how quick this whole event was.

"...where...are...we?" Aby asked shocked and confused.

[ Gender Flag Sets Masterpost ]

Don't know what some of these terms mean (e.g. aban)? I compiled them (and their sources) on my site [ A List Of Gender Terms ].

The fluid, fluix, and flux terms are based off genderfluid man/boy, genderfluix man/boy, genderflux man/boy, and the matching woman/girl versions. For my nonbinary terms/flags though, I'm defining them more broadly, so any combination of abinary + fluid/fluix/flux works.

Butch, futch, and femme is the same. Anyone who's butch/futch/femme and abinary, whatever that combination means to them, can use these flags :)

Also, I didn't list every possible name for the fluid, fluix, flux, butch, futch, and femme terms. You can use alt terms/names, as long as they have the same meaning.

All these flags use the colours from my alt abinary flag.

For abinmel and aban, I just went with a format that felt right / looked nice. Having the stripes be horizontal looked too much like orientation flags to me, so I used vertical stripes (pride flags don't often use vertical stripes, so I think this helps make it more unique). And the second one, I felt darker and maybe just a bit of desaturated colours would fit. I still wanted them to be colourful though, since I think the opposite gives the impression of depression, which is not just what adulthood is.

Aby follows this girl flag (which has also been used for other diminutive flags, like boy and xip). I don't know how to make symbols for it though, so I left them blank. Having symbols would help them look more unique, so if anyone wants to make symbol versions, they're welcome to.

The fluid, fluix, and flux flags follow my formats, which are based on genderfluid man/boy, genderflux man/boy, and the matching woman/girl flags.

Finally, the butch, futch, and femme flags follows these femme/futch/butch man flags, that's where the bottom 3 stripes come from.

sigh- She's so cute and fun to draw... I must resist skipping a bunch of stuff to introduce her in the comic cause she arrives real late 😭 I mean- I could put her in a mini comic, but what of? that's the question.

until then, I will draw some more doodles of her. Maybe even a ref sheet if I get motivated!

Abinary Ambinary Pride Flag

Amabinary/nymambinary/nymamby or ambiabinary/ambiabin (ambiaphorian/abinambinary or amaphorian/ambiaby/ambiaby) [apisambinary/ambiapsgender/ambips/ambiaps]: being ambinary and abinary/aphorian.

Ambinary: experiencing both binary genders.

Abinary/aphorian: experiencing a genderness that is completely unrelated to maleness, masculinity, femaleness, or femininity, and is nowhere in between those things.

This can be for any reason. Some examples include: genderfluid, pangender/omnigender, multigender/polygender, plurigender, varsex/intersex/altersex/aldernic, GNC/PNC, system member plurality/medianity, centrigender/circa-binary, "both neither", gendervast/gendercollector, cusper/evenic, cross-aligned/cronant-aligned, liaspec/mesospec exospec/abiaspec, bonusbinary...

It had been a slow day so a certain cyan haired kid decided to clean a prototype teleporter that his adopted dad was building, functional but not exactly ready for testing.

It was suppose to just be a regular cleaning session, like he does every week, just make sure that there isn't any dust in any areas that could be vulnerable to contamination and he should be good to go. However, in an attempt to try to impress his father, he tried using a cleaning solution he made himself.

What he didn't know, was that the solution, if applied in the right place, like say, somewhere that's very sensitive to outside elements, it could accidentally short circuit the machine's internal battery, causing it to activate by itself, engulfing the boy in a bright white light.

There wasn't much time to react, the ordeal ended before he could even scream. Luckily, the teleportation didn't cause any visible damage, however, he had absolutely no idea where he was, if he even was alive at this point.

Looking around, he thought about talking with one of the...beings(?) in the area, but before he got a word out, he noticed said being was chewing on what seemed to be a human arm, causing the boy to instinctively use his ice magic to turn invisible temporary and ran the hell away from there.

He quickly turned back to being visible when he got far enough, he didn't know where the hell he was so wasting his precious energy wasn't something he wanted to do. Slowly, it started settling in that he had no way of going back home, there was a extremely high likelihood that he would be trapped there until he starved to death, if no be chewed alive by those...things.

Instead of panicking, however, he managed to calm himself enough to try to think logically, a very important lesson he learned from his time in the underground. Taking deep breaths, he managed to try to find a vantage point to look around. It seemed to be a city of some kind? though one that wasn't exactly what he would consider pleasant.

Getting down from his vantage point, he noticed a strange store with a bunch of tv on top of each other, all of them broadcasting different programs. One of them, however, caught his attention, a hotel of some kind, one that promised to ''rehabilitate sinners". Not only that, but it seemed like the place was run by the daughter of whoever ran this place!

That seemed perfect for the boy, he did have a lot of previous baggage that the hotel could help him with, not only that, but maybe this "charlie" person could help him, and if she can't, maybe her father can!

The kid quickly got up a nearby house while invisible just so he could try finding where the hotel is in his surroundings. It didn't take much to find it though, it wasn't exactly hidden.

He didn't want to risk being cornered by those...things or by any of the strange beings in this place, so he decided to make his way there while still invisible, even if that could lead him to lose out on most of his energy, he couldn't risk getting caught.

Took a few hours, but eventually he managed to reach the hotel, he turned off his invisibility magic, took a deep breath and knocked on the door, unsure if he should push it open or just wait. In the end, he decided to wait and hope this wasn't a trap.
