Demifaunian is a term for when one only partially identifies as faunian (a multigender term where one is all genders except female and female-aligned ones.)

The 4 Countries of Llu’Maria

In the world of Ilu’Maria, the gods play important roles in history and culture. To separate the divine from everything else would to make an incomplete painting. It all started on a large continent where the early humans would serve and live with the dragons in harmony. But as the world began to have its first cataclysm, parts of the continent would be submerged in water. A chunk of the humans would make an exodus east from their traitorous brethren and when the god king’s judgment was passed, those who sailed east would be spared from the loss of their divine appearance and long life expectancy. 

Those who fled east would rename themselves the Elves in order to separate themselves from the people they once considered kin and from them, other creatures to would come to exist such as various kinds of elves, dwarves and orcs. They would name the new country Faein, land of the Fae. They live apart from the world, doing their best to stay isolated as they follow the old ways, and await the day their gods are reborn. It is a feudal country ran by multiple kings and queens with their own interests. Even now in modern times. Despite this, not much is known about them (mostly because the mun is still working on them). Elves, dwarves, orcs and other creatures leave the land in order to explore the outside world but for the most part, Faein keeps to itself.

Crysentia would have the “the traitors”. The modern day humans. Those who lost their pointed ears and long life in order to serve their new gods (or over lords, depending on your point of view). They have been squabbling with their Norther and Southern neighbors ever since the early days of the Empire. Crysentia is a land of Order, Nobility, Magic, and Piety. Those who do not conform are often swept aside. A land that makes many steps forward as well as many steps back. It also does not help that Crysentia was once the seat of the gods when they were not in their home in the heavens. Crysentia is a sacred land with hidden power...power forces want to steal or reclaim, depending on who these “forces” are.

Golaria is the home of those swept away by the Empire. The land of Magicless, humans born without any magic in their veins. In the past, the first revolt was staged by the First Pirate King; a Magicless man who dared face the empire with a handful of men, guerrilla warfare tactics, and ambition in his heart. While his goal to make it so Magicless could thrive in the empire was never seen, he instead stole multiple ships from the empire, sailed south, and settled a group of islands. These islands would be called Golaria, the Land of Pirates, Rebels, and Vagabonds. The war technically never ended as the Empire refuses to acknowledge them as a country, despite them making infrastructure, an economy, and all the things a country needs, including a government. They are the first country to bring in a government where no Emperor, King, or nobility rule. Everything is done through a council with the head of the council being the “Pirate King”. (Despite the title, he isn’t a real king. It’s an honorary title more than anything. It just says he leads the council but can be over turned if enough council members turn against him). To this day, Golarian ships continue to pillage and plunder the southern seas of the Empire, making what trouble they can for their long time enemy.

Finally, Netharkus, The Kingdom to the North. A land of darkness, snow and ice, and monsters. A land that is said that even the sun won’t touch. When Caenbris was defeated by the first Empress of the Crysentian Empire, he fled to the frigid north. The humans who lived there had been ruined by the constant wars that plagued the world even after the waters separated them. The people had been brutalized, pillaged, raped, and left for dead. Winter had come and the people were starving. Caenbris was said to have fallen in the castle town of the last remaining king. The king, being a pious man, aided the god, dressing his wounds and giving him what food and shelter he could give the god. Caenbris, impressed by the kings selflessness, and even giving him some hope back in his children, would “gift his people with the power of a god” as a reward for giving what little he had. Giving the king his blood, the king would become the first vampire. Those who joined him would become vampires as well. Those who refused the divine gift would become cattle. No longer would they depend on harvests but now they could drink the blood of mortals and animals. As time would go on, more kinds of vampires and monsters would be created, creating a kingdom of darkness and bloodlust. Netharkus has since taken up the sword in Caenbris’s name and have declared Crysentia their enemy. The two have skirmished and fought for generations as Netharkus has taken humans as cattle and as Crysentia has burned the demons and vampires at the stake. Their feud continued and it is as bloody as ever....
