ALSO also him being annoyed by his long hair in ness's flashback. trans. plus his insecurity concerning how good he is in comparison to (who he perceives as) cis players just screams insecure trans masc who's relying too much on toxic masculinity to affirm his gender to his peers lmao.

I have never written for Present Mic, and I don't want to botch his character at the moment, but I will definitely consider writing him in the future. I actually like the idea of Aizawa being polyamorous with the reader and Hizashi. Maybe I'll try to think up something fun with the three of them in the future. These are just headcanons, but I could make a bigender reader in a one-shot in the future.

My gender identity is similar to bigender, but because of personal reasons, I usually have to mask as a cis-gender girl. I hope I wrote these headcanons with proper consideration.

I personally see Aizawa as someone who's bisexual but doesn't give himself a label. For you being bigender, he isn't bothered at all.

When he sees you express as more masculine than feminine, or vice versa, he doesn't really pay much mind to it. He thinks you are incredible no matter what you wear or the gender roles you assume.

Explaining your gender identity can be scary, and Aizawa is a very direct person about his opinions about things. When he assured you that he takes your gender identity seriously, it was a weight off your shoulder.

He will actively ask how he can make sure that you are comfortable. He's not ignorant.

That applies to your physical presentation but also to your personality. So he doesn't care at all if you're being "girly" or "one of the guys," that's not how he is. He appreciates you as you are.

He is supportive, and if he's going to meet people with you, his eraserhead mindset makes him protective of you and he is always paying attention to how others treat you.

Corrects pronouns like no one's business

He will stick up for you if anyone misgenders you, make no mistake of that

And if someone tries to invalidate you, his stare is enough to get them to start walking

Some people who are bigender mask in public or in general, and if you did, he'd understand that. He'd respect your wishes, and when you two are in a more domestic location, he'll address you as what you want him to call you, and lets you be yourself without having to worry that he doesn't see you the same way than when you're "being the other gender."

He secretly thinks you're cute as fuck, but will hardly ever admit it (he'll insinuate it, he can get flirty when he's feeling bold).

This guy has no fashion sense most of the time, but he thinks your style flatters you, and it's easy for you to seduce him sometimes. When you both get home and he's feeling it, he'll start to lecture you, but he isn't disappointed in you in the slightest.

"Do you have any idea how handsome/pretty you've been today?" in a teasing tone.

You'll feign ignorance (tho it turns you on so bad).

"No, you just constantly have to be a brat, huh?"

It gets spicy from then on out. Shouta's sex drive isn't high, but when he knows he has time to kill, he'll rizz you up so bad

He'll have you thinking, "Aizawa?? Are you there??"

Aizawa is big, and so anal sex can cause anxiety, but he's patient and makes sure you're as comfortable as you can be. He'd never pressure you.

Sex can be complicated as someone who isn't on the binary, but Aizawa is here to listen and learn. He's sexually aroused by people no matter their anatomy, so he's open to whatever you're comfortable with. Sex isn't simply penis and vagina, and he knows that.

If you have a penis and aren't comfortable bottoming on a physical level, he's ok with being the recipient. He's a dom-leaning switch, in my opinion. But if you want him inside of you, he is obliging.

The same goes for vaginal sex. He wants to meet your needs because he loves you and wants you to enjoy having sex with him.

He'll make sure to address you properly and ask what you call your genitals and other body parts. Pronouns and pet names are also on his priority when making sure you're comfortable. He'd never want to make you dysphoric

He's proud of you. For everything. Having the courage to be yourself in a world that has a limited view about gender takes guts, and he reminds you of that when you're feeling dysphoric. He'll do everything in his power to support you

He will also completely support you if you decide that HRT or further is something that would affirm your identity better. Will never give you the "I miss who you were" schpeel because that's irrational and he doesn't feel that way, you are who you've always been to him.

He'll notice when you start showing changes and will probably avoid drawing attention to it unless he knows you want to hear him compliment your progress. He thinks you're wonderful with every passing day.

Your gender is a part of who you are, and he is proud of his bigender partner. You're his, no matter what anyone thinks. No matter if you doubt yourself, he sees someone who's strong and resilient and he loves you with all his heart.

He prefers transmasc, even if it doesn't fully encompass his experience

Does not feel like the terms nonbinary or genderqueer are right for him either

Especially avoids genderqueer because queer has some history of being a slur and he'd rather not attach a slur to himself

That's also the reason he'd avoid the term "tranny" for himself, even if a lot of trans people use it

Though he could still use it for others "What are you, some kind of tranny?" he's evil and controversial please cancel him

To him it's very sharp and noticable

If someone calls him "she" it's almost like they just jabbed a knife into his chest

I'm guessing you're already a part of their group, loved already as both a packmate and a mate. A relationship with the four of them is not nothing, they are quite a handful, and eventhough you know that they are open minded and will support you no matter what - you still had some nerves when thinking about telling them.

omg i’d say yes ofc but you really don’t need permission! sometimes people make versions of flags they have literally just for themselves, to make it something they can identify with, rather than a Big Thing. it also doesn’t have to be prompted by another flag being made by someone bigoted, it can just be for whatever you like. what matters is the care put into it. ^^

honestly i primarily made the flag as a reflective self-care exercise, as i thought abt my values and relation to bigender…ism. that other people liked it was just a plus (an amazing one, at that). you can do it just for fun, too! or for color theory! point being, not something that should be stressful. as long as you’re not copying anyone and claiming it as your own, which i’m sure is not the case, people have no reason to be bothered; basically, go ham!

Everytime I see people (typically BABs and general mspecphobes (more often panphobes)) say that bi means, always has meant, and always WILL mean "attraction to all genders"

I think about the bi people that this saying erases

The bi people who are only attracted to two genders, or who are only attracted to three, four, or more genders - but never all.

What about the bi people who are only attracted to women and non-binary people? Or men and women? Men and non-binary people? Or men, women, and only SOME non-binary genders (because, as is a friendly reminder, non-binary is typically just meant to be an umbrella term for genders and people that go outside the gender binary of man/woman, even if they are, say, bigender between man/woman - it is not a monolithic secret third gender)?

To claim bi will only ever mean attraction to all genders is to be biphobic. You are actively erasing, silencing, and discarding COUNTLESS bi voices and lives. For what? To feel better about your unfounded exclusionism?

And to say "bi means attraction to all genders", you are putting yourself in a place where you cannot backpedal. You cannot say this, and then try to turn around and say "well bi people can still be only attracted to some genders, not all!"

Because, five minutes ago, weren't you just saying the one and only definition and way to be bi is to be attracted to all genders? To say that bi people don't have to be attracted to all genders in order to be bi is to contradict yourself.

If bi is attraction to all genders is true and the only truth, then how is it also true for there to be bi people who aren't attracted to all genders?

Because the proclaimation of bi being attraction to all genders is only one of many, many ways to be bi. There is no one way to be bi, there is no one way to define being bi.

Think of like this:

Person a: Bi ONLY means attraction to all genders! It always has!

Person b: What about bi people who aren't attracted to all genders? Are they bi too?

Person a: Well, yeah, of course!

Person b: But you just said bi only means being attracted to all genders. Does that mean these bi people are being bi wrong?

Person a: No! They aren't! But bi still means being attracted to all genders!!!

Do you see the big, big, BIG contradiction here??

Trying to define a fluid identity such as bisexuality is never going to work. It will always result in erasure and harm to many, many communities. That is why the definition of "two or more" is the best one we have. It leaves room for that fluidity, for adding in a person's own personal touches and preferences, and it just allows people to live how they want with no stress on whether they are Bi Enough to call themself bi.

Trying to put a concrete, singular definition on bi is biphobic. Even if you, yourself, are bi. Full stop.

The Topic of Gender Identity - JM Focus

So. This is something that I’ve gotten asked about a few times since people became interested in my analyses. And it’s something I’ve always avoided answering because it seems to me that the topic of gender is way more touchy than the topic of sexuality.

I’m also the sort of person who doesn’t like people talking about things without some form of experience on the topic. I can talk about how I see the potential of someone being gay because I’m gay. I know what it’s like to be gay. I know what it’s like to be afraid for people to find out that you’re gay (passed that, but been there). Someone who isn’t gay and never questioned it wouldn’t have any idea what it’s like.

As someone who has struggled with gender identity myself, I’ve decided that I’ll talk about this. I’d say that I have a controversial opinion on this topic, but no matter what you say about gender identity, one person or another is going to think it’s controversial. So, really, everyone has a controversial opinion on the topic. As it is not my intention to offend anyone, I decided to share that controversial opinion. Anyway. Read on if you can handle someone talking about their opinion without getting riled up that it might be different than yours, and if you’re curious about my thoughts on the topic. If not. Move on. (BELOW THE CUT)

So. Let me start by putting in the “short story” of my gender identity, so you kind of get the idea where I’m coming from when I state my opinion on this topic. You can skip this to the part where I start talking about Jimin, but I just wanted to add this in here so you have an idea of where I’m coming from.

Currently, I identify as a cis-female lesbian, but it took me a long time to accept myself as a female. Honestly. When I was a child, I was more okay with the fact that I liked girls than the fact that I was a girl. Liking girls never felt wrong to me. Liking girls as a girl is what felt wrong. I don’t know if that makes sense, but I know how I felt.

I was what they called a “tom-boy” back in the day. I’m not sure if that term is offensive now? But I always related with the label for some reason.

My parents have a lot to do with my current view on gender identity. My mom told me when I was a little baby, my favorite color was pink. It’s currently pink. She said that once I started learning the names of colors and that they had “genders”, I took a hard turn to the color blue. I pretended that blue was my favorite color for a big part of my life, throughout high school, because I didn’t want to be associated with the “girly” things.

I also liked Hotwheels as child. I was obsessed with cars. This is something I was genuinely interested in, and not just because I wanted to distance myself from girly things. At McDonald’s they often have “boy toys” and “girl toys”. I also have one brother and two sisters. When my mom took us to McDonald’s, she’d always say she wanted “two hotwheels and two barbies”. If the checker ever said “girls and boy toys” my mom would again specify hotweels and barbies. Because she didn’t understand why they were “girl and boy toys”. As a child, I was changing her perspective on gender.

We used to go to Christmas parties when I was a kid, and Santa would always hand out presents to the kids. It always seemed they gave the boys certain toys, and the girls always got dolls or doll related things. So I started to hate going to these Christmas parties. I also question why Santa didn’t buy me the gifts I wanted. He was supposed to know what every child wanted. One year, my mom talked to the people who decided the gift buying, and they got me a giant collection of hotwheels. This Santa became my favorite.

Anyhow. I always wanted to be my dad’s son. I wanted to him to play sports with me and grill with him like he would do with my brother. When I showed more interest in those things than my brother did, he started doing them with me instead. I’d help him build things. I’d play sports with him. And we always grilled together. Until I got older and started going through the inevitable changes that every girl goes through. He stopped treating me like a son and started treating me like a daughter, and it really upset me that my dad’s whole attitude toward me would have changed like that. So I started hating being a girl even more.

Anyway, long story short (believe me, there’s a lot more to this story, but this is a Jimin focus. Not a Koala focus). I eventually came to accept that I was a girl, and actually like feminine things. But, at the same time, I actually like masculine things, too. Coming out to my family as gay really allowed me to express my gender identity more. And I think it’s funny because they often point out how I became more feminine after coming out when many females do it the opposite. I explained to them that I always wanted to be “straight” and like girls, but when I fully accepted myself as gay, I fully accepted myself as female, too.

That being said, I didn’t give in to gender norms or anything like that. I just stopped pretending to hate all feminine things for the fear of being “too much of a girl” to like girls. Pink is my favorite color, but I’ll take the whole fucking rainbow any day. I love hotwheels, and I know more about cars than most modern boys do. I know about computers, and I love math. I absolutely love playing sports (I don’t like watching them so much). I love high fantasy, and I love playing d&d with my friends. But I also love sitting down to a nice romantic movie every now and then. I play all kinds of video games from fps to dress up games, and I love the fact that I don’t have to be apologetic about any of it. I can fix my own kitchen sink and give you tips about how to get stains out of the carpet. I still hate dolls, and they are fucking creepy to me.

I can accept the term bigender for myself, but I label myself as cis-female. Because I don’t want society to tell me that “feminine” things are for girls and “masculine” things are for boys. And tell me how I need to identify because of my like or distaste for either. I don’t mind “feminine” and “masculine” labels, but I don’t think it should determine how much of a “boy” or “girl” you are. I know that people identify as trans and anywhere on the spectrum for reasons that go beyond that, and that’s fine. My story goes far beyond that as well, but that’s pretty much my main focus that brings me to this point.

So. Let’s talk about Jimin now.

IN RELATION TO JIMIN

So, I’ve had exactly one ask that wanted to know if I would refer to Jimin as “they” instead of “he” because we don’t know how he identifies, but I think that can be true for anyone. Just because JK presents himself as more masculine with the fact that he works out and is a “boy” boy, we can’t presume that he identifies as a cis-male. Even if he likes all masculine things, and there’s nothing feminine about him (which isn’t true, but even if it was), we can’t just assume that he identifies as cis-male and is totally comfortable in his 100% male role. So the fact that this seems to come up mostly in relation to Jimin kind of proves how it’s a societal “masculine” and “feminine” thing when it comes many people’s view on gender identity.

I’ve also had a lot of people come to my inbox and talk about how they don’t see why people question Jimin’s gender. “He’s not feminine at all.” And, let me just say that he really is, and I don’t think it would offend him for me to blatantly state that. When he first debuted, he really tried to present himself as masculine, and he wanted to be seen as a “strong/real man.” But he’s eased himself into what he’s more comfortable with, and he, himself, talks about this transformation. How he doesn’t have pretend anymore, and he can just be who he is. And that’s a wonderful thing. And him talking about it the way he does (I’d love to go back and find examples, so people share links if you have any otherwise it’s going to take me ages to source this) kind of tells me that he wants people to realize his transformation. That he is so unbothered by both his feminine and masculine traits that he isn’t bothered if people see him more one way or the other.

Let me bring up Jimin’s bigender tattoo, if you will. (x) Well, it’s not really a tattoo, and more of a drawing. It wasn’t permanent, but still. I’ve had a few people argue that it’s not the bigender symbol because of both extensions pointing straight instead of the masculine symbol being at an angle (x), but seeing as how I don’t know of any other symbol it could be, I’m going to assume that it was meant to be the bigender symbol. 

Does this tattoo mean that he identifies as bigender? I’m leaning toward yes, but I’m also going to have to say that it doesn’t confirm anything. We don’t know the reason behind the tattoo unless Jimin tells us himself, and we don’t know the reason it was altered with both extensions being aligned instead of the way the actual symbol looks (if that detail is significant in any way).

Again, I’m leaning toward a strong possibility of him identifying as bigender because BTS are pretty socially aware, and I’m sure he knows what the symbol means. There could be a list of other reasons as to why he decided to use the symbol, so we’ll never know the truth unless he tells us.

I will say that, similar to how I think TH mentioning the Christmas song to us was to see how we’d react to the idea of him singing a romantic song with a boy, I think that Jimin putting that tattoo on his arm was to raise a similar kind of topic. I think he wants people to discuss and question his gender identity. And I think anyone who has come out to their family, friends, and societies would get the same idea. Because it’s a process, and this seems like a step in the process.

I’d often talk about how I loved it when people would mistake me for a boy, and how disappointing it was when someone would be quick to correct them. I’d talk about how being a “girl” is exhausting and how I wish I could flip a switch and be a “boy”. I’d question my parents about how they’d feel if I brought a girl home. I’d use gender neutral pronouns while talking about people I was interested in. I’d question if it was weird to want to hold hands with my best female friends. And the list goes on.

The tattoo seems like a step in a process. Maybe he’s not trying to come out, but maybe he wants us to be talking about it. I don’t think we should just assume that he’s bigender because of it (the same way we shouldn’t just assume TH is gay for Christmas song talk), but I don’t think people need to be so quick to shut the idea down. Because it’s possible that he might not identify as cis-male, and to shut down a piece of evidence like a bigender drawing on his arm is to shut down a pretty strong piece of evidence. That tattoo was drawn on Jimin for a reason because it’s supposed to mean something. Until we know what that something is, there is absolutely no harm in us fans talking and wondering about his identity. As long as we don’t shove it in Jimin’s face and demand that he talks about it. Let’s wonder together. Among ourselves.

As for which pronouns to use when talking about Jimin, until he says anything official about his identity, I think “he/him” pronouns are fine. If you want to call him “they/them”, I think that’s fine, too. I won’t simply because I only like to use “they/them” if I’m intentionally trying to be neutral or if an individual specifically requests to be addressed as such, but I don’t see the harm in anyone else doing it. I think going as far as using “she/her” could be a little too much and a little too presumptive. I’m not the sort to get offended by any type of pronouns. I identify with them all, but that’s not true for everyone. And it might not be true for Jimin. So I think it’s best to stick with “he/him” or “they/them” because they’re the most gender neutral terms. 

And yeah. “He/him” is more gender neutral than “she/her”. And, even if you don’t think so, “he/him” are the terms we use to refer to biological males without knowing anything about their personal identity. I don’t think it’s “assuming he’s cis until he says otherwise.” This is just as harmful as “assuming he’s straight until he says otherwise.” Because, for me at least, “he/him” is referring to the only thing I know about his gender/sex until he confirms otherwise, and that’s the biological part of his gender/sex. It’s not me saying “Oh, I think he’s definitely cis unless he says he’s not”. Because I’m leaning more toward the “not” part of that, but the only thing I can confirm is that he is biologically male. He wouldn’t be in BTS if he wasn’t.

Bringing it back to the first point I mentioned, we can’t assume a gender identity onto any of them. Jimin brings up more questions not because of his “feminine” side, but because of that bigender symbol. But it doesn’t mean that he identifies that way, and it doesn’t mean none of the other members do.

Like I said. I was hesitant about making this post and avoided asks about this topic for a long time because people get more defensive about gender identity than sexuality, but I wanted to talk about this. Because regardless of how offended people get about this topic, I think it’s something we shouldn’t be afraid to discuss.

My name is (y/n) (l/n), I’m 17, in year 2 of Ouran Academy and I’m bigender.

Most people think I’m a girl, and I rather it stay that way, at least until I finish High School. Not that I was scared that the Ouran Students would bully me, as my parents could easily get them expelled. But I rather avoid the bothersome questions like, ‘How does it work?!’, ‘What’s in your pants?’, and all the like.

My mom’s a designer and owns her own brand, my dad runs a famous fashion magazine. Together, they run a modelling agency and both modelled when they were younger.

That means that looks are a big thing in the family and my siblings and I started modelling young, so by now people know our faces. That’s the problem with being bigender under a family such as this one.

My parents are open, they accepted me when I came out of the closet but my mom’s always loved the concept of modelling while being Bigender.

All those clothes she could make to accentuate that fact and all the poses she could put me in.

I asked her if I could come out to the modeling world when I was out of high school and she agreed, but she’s always waiting for the day that I finish.

The modeling world thinks I’m female and apart from family, nobody else knows I’m bigender.

Or at least that’s what (y/n) thought.

Today, Tamaki dragged them into coming into the Host Club. Tamaki’s always pestering them to become a host, as they are a famous face around the halls of Ouran and, according to what Kyoya tells him, ‘easy money’.

(y/n) was just around the corner of Music Room 3, talking with their friend, so when Tamaki saw them he took the opportunity, grabbing their arm and booking it to the Host Club.

“Tamaki, what the--” (y/n) was interrupted with flower petals flying towards their face, which they grabbed just in time before they got hit.

“Oh, Tamaki. Did you manage to get them to agree?” Kyoya asked when he saw that the person who’d entered wasn’t a customer.

“Them? What are you talking about, Kyoya?” One of the Hitachiin twins asked.

(y/n) turned around and was about to open the door when they were interrupted by a slightly more femenine voice. “Don’t bother, it’s locked. I know from experience.”

(y/n) sighed. “Tamaki, I told you I didn’t want to be a host.”

“You wouldn’t want your secret to go out, would you?” (y/n) narrowed his eyes at Kyoya. He could just be bluffing, but he always seems to know everything. “That you’re bi--”

“Alright, alright! Shut up.” Kyoya smirked at them.

“Wait, you’re bisexual?” One of the Hitachiin asked. “So that means that you can have double the audience and be comfortable with it!” The other said.

Well, it’s a good cover-up.

“Yeah.” Kyoya continued to smirk at (y/n), he knew that wasn’t just it. This is just blackmail.

(y/n) pointed a finger in the host club’s general direction, saying, “Just don’t be homophic. Or else.”

“But what’s her type?” Tamaki asked, he had a finger tapping his chin as he thought.

Renge popped up from the ground, making (y/n) jump in surprise. Renge’s laugh hurt their ears like a hyena laugh.

“Tamaki, I’m disappointed in you! How could you not know? Anyway, she’s the hot-headed type. I doubt she can keep her hot-headedness down a little when talking to guests.”

(y/n) raised an eyebrow at Renge.

“We’ll see how she acts today. If it’s too much, we can pair her up with Haruhi like how we did with Kasanoda.”

Tamaki immediately shot up to protest, wailing his arms around. “I can’t have my dear daughter be with somebody like her! I can’t have her getting any ideas! What if she becomes bi..” Tamaki continued to rant.

(y/n) wasn’t angry, well they were, but they were more confused than angry. “Daughter? She?”

Haruhi face-palmed and (y/n) could tell everybody else also wanted to as well. “I, uh--” Tamaki went to sulk in a corner, muttering to himself, “I’m such a failure of a dad.”

After the news that Haruhi was a girl, (y/n) had to host people. Bleh, they were disgusted just at the thought of it.

They were surprised when some girls actually did come sit down with her. No boys came, seeing as (y/n) wasn’t being advertised yet and boys rarely came anyway. The girls expected (y/n) to flirt with them, but they weren’t much of a flirt so they just answered a few questions the girls asked. Some questions were too personal for their liking, and being a hot head, they got a bit angry. They tried to tone it down though, flashing a fake smile and casually saying it was too personal, trying to hide their anger.

And then one brave girl muttered an insult and they just exploded.

Luckily, Kyoya spotted this, and held them back before they spat out any insult.

The cool type pulled (y/n) behind his back and bowed to the girls, apologizing even though (y/n) had done nothing.

For the rest of the club time, (y/n) sat in the changing room, doing nothing.

After club time, Renge popped up from the ground again and said that (y/n) definitely needed somebody to be paired up with, suggesting Haruhi. Tamaki once again objected, suggesting (y/n) and Kyoya instead.

Renge gasped after thinking about it for a few seconds. “Nice one, Tamaki! The cool type with the hot-headed type.”

“Well, (y/n)-chan. You’re going to be paired up with Kyoya-kun, like Mori and Honey!”

(y/n) was about to say something at the mention of ‘chan’, but was stopped by a tap on the shoulder from Kyoya.

(y/n) turned to Kyoya with a glare, knowing full well he could just say their secret at any minute. They gritted their teeth before taking a deep breath and trying to calm down.

“Sure, fine! Whatever.”

(y/n) was glad it was the end of the day, they could finally relax and steam off at home.

For the rest of the club times, (y/n) sat next to Kyoya and they hosted people together. (y/n) attracted a lot of male guests, mostly daintier boys. 

Anytime that (y/n) would get angrier than slightly angry, which was often, Kyoya would lean in and whisper a reminder of what he knew into their ear.

Because of it being often and the fact that they were paired up together, not because of looks, but rather, personality, girls would ship the two of them together. Which, unfortunately for the two of them, made Renge suggest they do an act like the Hitachiin twins’ act.

Most of their acts would be (y/n) acting like they were super angry and have Kyoya kiss them on the cheek to calm them down.

Doing the act a lot made Kyoya actually do it outside of the act, rather it just being whispering in their ear, it was now a mix of both because the kissing on the cheek somehow worked.

Other acts could include the hot head acting really angry and jealous after the cool type flirted with some other girl and acting as if they were getting frisky right before club time. The acts would usually paint Kyoya as the dominant one. (y/n) hated having to act.

Not because they felt it was forced, but because the acts started making his body believe they were dating, so, that meant they were falling in love.

Kyoya fell enough because of the acts, and how easy it was to get a reaction out of them. It’s easy to fall in love with a hot head if you think they look cute when they’re angry.

Outside of clubtime, Kyoya would also kiss (y/n)’s cheek to calm them down. The Hitachiin twins would often tease them about it and they did so even more when Tamaki told them that Kyoya would do it sometimes during class as well.

Both of them found out about their crush on each other one day during club time.

It was nearing the end of the day, (y/n) and Kyoya were doing their kiss on the cheek act. Except (y/n) accidentally turned their head when Kyoya leaned in for the kiss. They ended up kissing on the lips in front of everybody in the club room. Both of them flushed a bright red, making the girls squeal and the boys flustered as well.

The other hosts called an early close to club time, getting ready to tease the hell out of both of them.

(y/n) dragged Kyoya into the changing room, locking the door behind them.

As the hot-head locked the door, Kyoya spoke up. “I like you.” When (y/n) turned back around, they said, “I like you too.”

“Do you want to go on a date?” The cool type asked. Most people would be stuttering, but as he’s the cool type, he’s calm.

“Yeah! Where to?”

When the date plans were arranged, the two hosts walked out of the changing room.

Tamaki exploded at the two of them, not particularly with questions.

“So you’re dating, right? Of course you’re dating! That’s fantastic! Now I can have my little Haruhi all to myself with no risk of (y/n) getting in the way. That’s two less from six! Soon enough, Haruhi will--”

and “nonbinary man” could mean different things for different people who use it. nonbinary is just someone who doesn’t completely identify with the binary, so partially identifying with a binary gender while still calling yourself nonbinary is a-okay!

personally for me, i use it because i simultaneously feel connected to both the nonbinary experience and the man experience. i guess i could be considered bigender, but i’ve never really felt connected to the term 🤷🏻‍♂️

to other people who use “nonbinary man” it could be different. i’ve heard of nonbinary men who call themselves that because they feel their gender fluctuates from nonbinary and man. i’ve heard of people who use it as a way of denoting that they’re nonbinary but masculine-leaning and are okay with being grouped with men. i’ve heard it used by amab nonbinary people who are content with their current gender expression. i’ve heard it used by afab nonbinary people who are transitioning to look more masculine. 🤷🏻‍♂️ everyone has a different way of describing it and there’s not really rules on how to “properly” be a nonbinary man

and also if your gender changes, you don’t necessarily have to change your pronouns (unless you want to!). there are pronouns that generally go along with certain genders (man: he/him; woman: she/her; nonbinary: they/them) but it’s not a law or a rule! just go by whatever pronouns make you comfortable!

i also think it’s important to remember that it’s okay if your label changes! you’re not betraying your past label or the people in it by changing your label! and it’s okay to change your label and then change it back if you decide it wasn’t right for you!

a few other words that might be helpful are:

demiboy: a word for people who describe themselves as being partially (but not entirely) a man

transmasc: (short for transmasculine) it’s a word that trans men and afab nonbinary people use to describe themselves, especially when relating to issues like medical care, hrt, social issues, surgeries, etc. most people don’t use it as a gender, but you could if you wanted to

gnc man: (short for gender-nonconforming man) this is a word that describes men (whether cis or trans) that dress androgynously or femininely. it’s not a gender, but a gender presentation/expression. so if you decide you are a trans man (or a nonbinary man) instead of just nonbinary, you could use this to describe yourself if you don’t dress masc all the time.

I immediately loved the idea of an asian trans Lily so I went for it! I tried my best in doing the background with the trans pride flag colors, which was super fun! I also tried a modern twist on a James/Lily pairing, with the insta stories aesthetic! I gave my all on this prompt, I hope the person who prompted it and everyone else enjoys it <3

(P.S.: I absolutely love all the other ideas of this prompt, Puerto Rican Weasleys especially strikes a cord with me as a latina so I might be doing these in the future as a personal project!)
