Protective Sibling Haunting

It was no secret that Danny loved his older sister, even when she nagged, bugged or psychoanalyzed him, she was and would always be the number one person he would love and protect without hesitation. (He was also pretty sure if anything bad happened to her he would no doubt become like Dan, maybe not fully but pretty sure he would become something close)

So when he found out she was going to Gotham to tour for colleges, he really didn't like it.

Sure Gotham's colleges were top tier for the field of psychology she wanted to study but the crime rate and corruption alone was also high up on lists and that wasn't counting the amount of Gotham Rogues yet.

Danny really didn't like the idea of his sister being in such a dangerous city, even though he knew she could take care of herself since she gained not just their dad's height but also the Fenton family strength and their mother's insane smarts, and given the fact he was a protector spirit that focused on his family it upset his core badly.

So, he decided to tag along... Invisibility of course. He didn't need her to be mad at him if she knew he was following of course.

He wasn't going to disturbed her from her touring he was just going to make sure she's safe thats all....

Okay so... Danny really wasn't expecting to do this when he decided to tag along for Jazz's college tour but...

Danny snickered as he used his powers to move the boxes around as if thrown, flicker the lights and explode the light bulbs, and made shadows shift unnaturally, gaining screeches from some goons as they threw their weapons on the floor and some scrambled out of the building ignoring the higher ups and their boss to stop being cowards.

It was a little fun being able to be go full paranormal activity on a gang of traffickers that had plans on kidnapping Jazz and the other touring young adults he discovered after noticing a few of their men following and watching them a day into the touring.

Luo Binghe pov fics that have him be amused or confounded by his silly shizun are the best actually. I know his rose tinted glasses of affection are basically opaque, but you cannot tell me the silly goofy wackiness that is shen yuan does not peak through and throw binghe off his rhythm at times. During his disciple days he definitely thought "he's so smart and yet so dumb at the same time. Is anyone gonna take care of him?" And didnt wait for an answer.

I've been turning over a Lawlight fic idea in my mind where L drugs Light with psychedelics to see if it shakes anything loose. He couldn't officially use anything Light said during the experience as evidence, but he figures it could produce some solid leads to follow. (Idea was inspired by this fanart of L).

It is very interesting to me to think about how Light would react to psychedelics. Because, oh, the ways that boy's mind would torture him. All of the shit he represses and suppresses so hard. The guilt he runs away from... building a new world because nowhere in this world is far enough away.

Would that guilt spill out, even during Yotsuba when his memories around the DN are gone? Would he become just a sad, pitiable, scared little boy, asking desperately if he's good? Asking for his dad, his sister, his mom?

But not just the guilt... How would L react if Light started rambling about how much he wanted L to respect him? How much he *wanted* L? How when L said Light was his first real friend, Light felt the same. He doesn't know now why it was so impossible to say it then. Anyway, now that he thinks about it, he's probably in love with L.

Also, him seeing Ryuk around while high as fuck could have some funny possibilities haha. And would the handcuff chain freak him out at some point? Would he start to feel claustrophobic and trapped and beg pathetically for L to take it off?

I'm not sure if the drugging would be something that L would have the task force in on. Needing to convince Soichiro and the others, like with the solitary confinement or handcuffs or fake-execution. Or if L would just do it on his own (with only Watari's knowledge), slipping something into Light's drink one night after they go back to L's room.

Anyway, it's all loose and impressionistic in my mind right now. But I think I might write a one-shot about the scenario, because something about Light fucked up on psychedelics (with L as his fascinated and untrustworthy guide) is irresistible to me haha.

I finished posting the unabashedly educational Sword Fic.

It includes a detailed (but hopefully beginner-friendly) explanation of all the steps of making a Nichirin blade from a sunny mountain like Mt. Youkou, a touch of swordsmith and metalworker folk lore (including demons), meta about what must make Kimetsu no Yaiba's swordsmithing methods different from real life methods, some character exploration for Haganezuka and his polishing method, vocabulary and additional resources in the chapter notes, and hopefully, an endearing, silly POV character to learn this all through.
