oh i did have this thought like forever haunting me in my head but because its so cheesy and cringy, i quite hate writing it out.

just imagining slowly kissing lighter and then removing his glasses off of him while doing so. like ARKSBAKDB i hate myself for thinking about it but him and his shades have me wanting to kiss him stupid ! he’s definitely a mess after though and looks back at you with the soggiest eyes, as if asking for another without saying a single word.

and then he realizes his sunglasses are off and he’s turning all shades of red. immediately trying to get them back and this is when another kiss occurs, slowly slipping the glasses back on him. he clears his throat after and fixes up his appearance, trying to not focus on what had just occurred.

Something I’ve noticed for awhile is that I often get comments from people about how they are surprised how I always come up with theories and try to guess what might happen and they “could never do that” themselves. I want to say: yes you can! There’s honestly a shortage of Nevermoor theories and ideas and speculation and etc and I want to see MORE!!!

Want to talk about how Morrigan’s mom is actually secretly alive? How the Scholar Mistresses are a Wundrous Act? Do you think the Tempus Divinity looks like an owl, or do you think Weaving and Ruination would be met together? Or have you ever thought about how this one line, from Chapter 19 of Nevermoor, about Betram Crow actually means he was a Cursed Child? Whatever it is you want to talk about: GO FOR IT!!!

I personally find it very fun to go sort of “English class mode” and look at the text in front of me and think about what different things might mean and analyze it and even overthink it to an unnecessary (but fun!) amount. But that’s just me and how I like to approach things! You don’t need to make long posts and quote specific lines if that isn’t your style. The big thing to remember is that so much can happen in the next six books, so throw any idea out there! You never know what twists and turns will be thrown at us. I think it’s fun to share these ideas and discuss with other people— sure, maybe there’s just something you missed when reading, but perhaps some new ideas spawn might from it. Some speculation could even serve as inspiration for fics!

There are some theories and thoughts that I’ve posted that have been “debunked” when I reread a book, or when someone pointed out something, or even just when something had a real-world basis that I as an American didn’t catch. But it was still fun to think about it all, and there’s some bits and pieces that I see as notable and worth considering. I think most of the Silverborn Masterpost is going to be “wrong”, but if just 1% of it is “correct”, even indirectly, I will take that as a win. I know it feels like during the hiatus everyone’s talked about everything, but I hope that the incoming communal reread (fingers crossed) and obviously Silverborn brings some speculation back to the fandom because I want to discusssssss!

I think why I enjoy dnd shows/podcasts so much is because it engages a creativity I used a lot as a kid when I was read stories aloud. Imagination of scenes, that mindscape cinema, aided by descriptions yes but still full of so many variables that its up to me to think what that would look like !

Like I used to refuse watching the music videos to songs that tickled that fantasy amv imagination because it would ruin my little brain world. But these days seeing some elements like character designs, sets, and animations of that media is just exciting!!

We're all telling stories and it's all reflections of us and it's so cool

hope everyone is having a lovely weekend :)

i just went through my whole blog! made a few little changes i thought i would share:

i tagged posts from specific episodes, so now if you want to see any ice content, you can look up "#1x08" and so on. this will make it easier to access any gifs, meta, jokes, etc for if you're really in the mood for thinking about one particular ep. it was also fun to see which episodes i post about the most- ice and revelations are, to no one's surprise, on the top of the list!

and i included my own episode writeup in each of the tags as well, even though it would probably be much easier to just go to the masterpost and find it there if that is what you're looking for. but hey! now you have options!

also! i went back and added a "read more" bar to all of my reaaaaaally long posts that previously did not have them. i did not think to start implementing this until around s3, so if you ever went to read or reblog a post from before then, it was novel length. well! now this is no longer the case! and it will only BECOME novel length if you click the option to read more!

My headcanon is that both Lucas and 47 sometimes still speak Romanian.

What we know about the institute is that they trained their boys in all the languages that are important in the big wide world - especially English. We'll ignore the fact that IOI simply hired English VAs because it's easiest to market when everyone speaks English.

Makes it unfortunately harder to speak convincingly in other languages if the VAs can't speak the languages in question (e.g. in Dubai, 47 could also speak Arabic, or in Santa Fortuna, Spanish - but I guess David can't speak either).

Still, I would have liked to get some insights into what it's like when our two boys talk to each other. Also in English? Or would they - if no one was listening - switch to Romanian? After all, they grew up there and the staff at the institute certainly didn't speak English so perfectly (if you consider the time in which the two grew up).

I can imagine that Lucas loves to swear in Romanian. Or whenever he gets upset, Romanian words slip into his mouth. 47 probably rather avoids speaking in Romanian. But when Lucas secretly wants to talk to him, he also changes the language.

It would have been nice to get a little insight into their private environment here and there. I'm convinced, it certainly sounds nice when 47 and Lucas talk in Romanian.
