Okay y'all, going forward, this is what we're doing.
Shit's scary, I know. But we absolutely cannot afford to surrender to that fear, because that benefits the GOP. They want us to feel powerless, because they know we are not powerless. That's why they have so many shills and bots discouraging people from voting.
We will not demoralize ourselves and each other by doomposting in our moments of panic. If we have a panic attack, that's okay. But we are not going to spread that fear to other people in public. We will save our most scared thoughts for our private journals and close friends. And we will support our friends who are feeling hopeless.
We will remember that spreading awareness of Project 2025 and Agenda 47 has been hurting Trump. And we will continue to do this.
We will remember that right now, our only option is Biden, because without ranked choice voting, getting a third party candidate in is simply impossible. We might not like it, but that's why we're going to push like hell for ranked choice voting once we get his pruny old ass in to office for a second term. (And thank God, he can't have more than a second term; the Democrats will have to find someone else afterward.)
We will not spread conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theories are the weapon of the enemy. We don't need them.
We will not publicly mock Trump in all of this. Making Republicans feel even more victimized is a losing strategy. "But it's my blog-" I'm sorry, are you playing for political keeps or are you just here to fuck around and put everyone's life in even more danger?
We will emphasize the ways that Project 2025/Agenda 47 will hurt everyone. And we will keep talking about it.
We will remember that the UK and France have already avoided far right takeovers in their elections.
All right? You got that? Because we got this if we stick together and keep at this. Shit's bad right now but that doesn't mean it has to be bad forever. We got each other, and we can do this.

"What emerged in two interviews with Trump, and conversations with more than a dozen of his closest advisers and confidants, were the outlines of an imperial presidency that would reshape America and its role in the world. To carry out a deportation operation designed to remove more than 11 millions people from the country, Trump told me, he would be willing to build migrant detention camps and deploy the U.S. military, both at the border and inland. He would let red states monitor women's pregnancies and prosecute those who violate abortion bans. He would, at his personal discretion, withhold funds appropriated by Congress, according to top advisers. He would be willing to fire a U.S. Attorney who doesn't carry out his order to prosecute someone, breaking with a tradition of independent law enforcement that dates from America's founding. He is weighing pardons for every one of his supporters accused of attacking the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, more than 800 of whom have pleaded guilty or been convicted by a jury. He might not come to the aid of an attacked ally in Europe or Asia if he felt that country wasn't paying enough for its own defense. He would gut the U.S. civil service, deploy the National Guard to American cities as he sees fit, close the White House pandemic-preparedness office, and staff his Administration with acolytes who back his false assertion that the 2020 election was stolen."
-- "How Far Would He Go", TIME Magazine's interviews with Donald Trump, April 30, 2024.
I know we're saturated in coverage of Trump and it's easy (and probably better for our mental health) to usually ignore most of the articles when we see them, especially since he's so full of shit and infuriating. But it's also important to recognize that he is going to be the Republican nominee for President and he could absolutely be elected in November, and if you thought his first term was scary and dangerous, you need to understand that in a second term he's going to have people around him that are better prepared and VERY willing to do the crazy shit that he wants to do to this country. They aren't even hiding the fact that they are seeking vengeance against political opponents whom they feel have wronged them, and are ready to fundamentally dismantle the democratic foundations that are barely holding this country together after nearly 250 years.
Just look at what Trump says about the people who he incited to attack the United States Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election and halt the peaceful transfer of power that has happened every four years since 1789:
"Trump has sought to recast an insurrectionist riot as an act of patriotism. 'I call them the J-6 patriots,' he say. When I ask whether he would consider pardoning every one of them, he says, 'Yes, absolutely.' As Trump faces dozens of felony charges, including for election interference, conspiracy to defraud the United States, willful retention of national-security secrets, and falsifying business records to conceal hush-money payments, he has tried to turn legal peril into a badge of honor."
Oh, and please note that Trump -- a former President of the United States and possible future President of the United States -- said on the record in these interviews with TIME: "There is a definite antiwhite feeling in the country and that can't be allowed either." We are at a point where political leaders are outright saying that in this country again, and it's because of Donald Trump.
So, take the time to recognize that Trump is straight-up telling us the country we're going to be living in if he wins again in November. And understand that your vote matters -- and WHO you vote for matters -- because, as I've been saying for years now, ELECTIONS HAVE FUCKING CONSEQUENCES.

you know, after watching day 3 of the democratic national convention, i need to say something, especially to other muslims like me.
most of the muslim communities that i'm a part of have chosen to vote uncommitted, or independent, or sometimes, even trump. they refuse to give their vote to kamala harris and tim walz, because of the way the us has handled the war in gaza, and how they have been careless with acknowledging palestinian lives lost, how it was american bombs and american tax money that went towards funding this genocide. it's fucked up, and it's wrong, and there shouldn't be any debate on that.
and i am 100% in support of that anger. i am 100% in support of forcing america to stop funding this genocide. no one wants to keep seeing palestinian lives suffer. no one is free until we're all free, and i believe that to my very core.
my only concern is that where this anger is being placed, from 1 year to 11 weeks before the presidential election, is so scary. because the reality of the situation is that america has a bipartisan outlook. whoever gets the presidency is either democrat or republican. and every vote that doesn't go towards democracy (i.e. voting for kamala harris) inadvertently goes towards trump's big plan of project 2025, which is basically dictatorship. Even voting uncommitted, even voting independent. we cannot afford to elect trump for a second term, and voting anything other than democrat draws that line way too close, especially in swing states like michigan, pennsylvania, wisconsin, georgia.
yes, there are many issues that we wish joe biden would handle better. there are many ways that the democratic party has fucked up beyond repair. there are many ways the democratic party has refused to acknowledge the pain of people affected by their military people throughout the years, and we've been seeing it for years. this is not a new thing. this did not start on october 7th. we see it during pretty much every administration.
however, voting for your candidate should never be based on a singular issue. no political candidate is ever going to check every single box. and its so unfortunate that we have to always take the "lesser of two evils" approach when nominating our president, but that's the reality of the situation at this very moment. there are many other rights to be considered that are at stake this election, all of which trump is trying to remove. abortion bans, women's rights, healthcare, social security, climate change, to name a few.
(and, somehow, there's a belief that trump will lead to a ceasefire deal where biden-harris didn't? let me tell you that is never going to happen.)
does this mean we just stop protesting or pressuring? absolutely not. you NEVER stop, because if our votes are the ones that put the candidate in their position of power, then we expect results. we expect them to work towards what they promised. and we can't let up on reaching out to our local county offices and our state governors and escalating these issues further until someone takes notice and does something about them. we don't elect them and just leave them to do what they want. we keep them accountable. use that anger i was talking about.
but it also means not having tunnel vision. the election in november could very well mean the end of democracy if kamala harris doesn't win. this post is not me all giggly-happy over the democratic party, because trust me, i have my fair share of issues with them as well. this post isn't to tell you what to do, because i can't force you to vote blue. i can't force the community i'm in to change their minds about toss-up votes. but what i can do is put down plainly what's at stake this election. and that is, very simply, our right to choose everything.
so if you are eligible to vote and haven't registered, please do. if you haven't voted before because "what's the point", please see above what the point is. a handful of votes is enough to flip the outcome of an election, especially with the electoral college.
and if you're still on the fence on whether to vote for kamala or trump, hopefully this post gives a little bit more perspective in the most streamlined way i could manage without bogging you down with statistics and numbers.
the choice is yours.

i never post anything serious on here but the results of the election have genuinely thrown me for a loop!
as someone living in the uk i cant even begin to imagine how scary this is for all the women, lgbtq, poc, disabled, and so many other people that trump's policies target. if you are living in the usa or are just scared, please talk to someone because you are not alone.
HOWEVER!!
if you are reading this and you did vote for trump or support his policies, here is the type of person you've elected to be your president:
said he wanted to "restore germany to its former glory"
said he would be dating ivanka trump if she wasnt his daughter
was walking behind a TEN YEAR OLD GIRL on an escalator and said "i'm gonna be dating her in ten years"
had sex with a porn star and paid her $130 million in hush money while his wife was pregnant
has been found guilty of falsifying business records, conspiracy to defraud the usa, and conspiracy AGAINST the rights of citizens
been accused of sexual misconduct in at least 26 cases, including minors, and has been found liable in court for sexual abuse
is the only president to have been impeached twice (abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in 2019, incitement of insurrection in 2021)
reversed majority of obama's action taken to fight climate change
after george floyd's murder, he ordered the police to clear a crowd of blm protestors with tear gas and stun grenades so he could take a photo in lafayette square
held an INDOOR rally just months after the country shut down due to covid
if that doesn't say enough about him as a person, please take a good look at the project 2025 manifesto, or if you can't be bothered to do that then have a look at some articles like this one:
i mentioned earlier that i live in the uk and at first i thought about how i probably have no reason to be worried. his policies dont affect me. but then i thought a little more about the domino effect this could have. trump's reelection sets a precedent for other countries to follow suit, and this will only get stronger once he starts making the changes he's promised. im scared for my own future, i cant even imagine how the minorities living in america feel right now.
if you wanna help, share the articles, donate to the charities, sign the petitions, attend the protests, just be loud!!! be as persistent as possible about it and people will be forced to listen.
i would also like to add that if you support donald trump please get the fuck off my page i dont want you here. okay bye :3

genuinely the main difference to me between the harris and trump presidency is just. frankly the way that trumps presence alone radicalizes his followers and how him winning again boosts their fucking egos to a terrifying degree. the administration differences arent shit bc kamala made it very clear she'd just be a second term of joe and look at all the shit thats happened under his leadership (palestine, roe v wade, trans rights getting nuked all over the country) but the actually scary part is the right wingers that you will encounter day to day who now believe that they really are the future of america and that they can say and do whatever they want.

If bird flu mutates to go human to human it's gonna be scary, but also so fucking funny. Imagine being Trump and losing reelection because a pandemic started during your term, and then you finally win a second election 4 years later only to be hit with a new pandemic.

SPECIAL DEATH MESSAGE:
(offers you a dainty bone china teacup full of earwax)
Republicans have an uncanny taste for the inside of Donald Trump's rectum
Someone genetically engineered the noses off of my space sheep. The whole sniffer bloodline is being executed for smelly crimes. Also appearing on toast, THE FRIED TOMLINSON SPAM EGG CHIPS AND SINGERS!
Upon their second meeting he scolded her for upsetting the Queen of the Artichokes
Insallah, the [genocidal eugenicist] reptile shall be made into air conditioning
In this brutal, breakneck first-person booter, the Anger Foot introduces the ruthless gangs of dystopian cesspit Shit City to a fury of feet and firepower.
(in heavy Hungarian accent) Great bewbies, Honeybun. My lower intestine is full of spam, egg, spam, bacon, spam, baked beans, spam, spam, and spam. My n1pples! (I am dragged offscreen by a Victorian London bobby as Vikings chant loudly)
Does he have foreskeen eyes?
Massive swarms of cicadas devouring our crops, check. Rivers and seas boiling, check. Lots of natural disasters, check. Leprosy rates spiking among Americans who have never even seen an armadillo (a plague of sores and boils), check. (That last one especially so in Florida, I guess God hates DeSantis.) Speaking of which, false prophets, check and double check.
Many used camels be upon you. GETAWAY CAMELS! GETAWAY DATES! ONLY SLIGHTLY USED! GARRYS MOD HAS MADE BRAIN IS FULL OF POOTIS!
(but earwax isn't drinkable :( Is it to look at?)
"Republicans have an uncanny taste for the inside of Donald Trump's rectum." Is that a clever way to say they kiss ass???
Space sheep! Now I'm imagining star patterned sheep 🥺 Sucks they're all being killed off, though :/ Have you seen that one detective show where this guy solves crimes cause he can smell real good? Very curious how he vs the sheep would go
Idk wtf a Tomlinson is, but spam and eggs sound gross :( At least a singer is there? For the toast 🍞🥂
Artichokes are delicious. Would the queen be offended if I ate one in front of them?
"Insallah" is a cool as fuck phrase. I hope God approved of turning a genocidal eugenicist reptile into air conditioning. Fucker deserves it. Might as well get used out of the gross reptile
First-person booter?? I'm guessing "Anger Foot" is the name of the game... Booter, like kicking someone? Which makes sense later with the fury of feet and firepower. Ig Shit City would probably be a horrible place to live (but also fun?? As long as you are strong enough against feet?)
Well... I don't like spam or eggs and baked beans are alright... You seem to very much like them plus bacon if your lower intestines are full of it. Would that be a balanced meal? It seems like a lot of protein
Whelp... Vikings are cool. Wonder what their chanting would sound like. Though cops aren't cool in comparison :/ Bobby is a funny name for 'em, though.
Lots of questions about "foreskeen eyes" Is that foreskin eyes (which... would that make them reptile eyes??) or forseen eyes (fortune telling eyes [fortune eyes is a fantastic song])
Cicadas!!! Their carcasses are scary :( We do have a ton of natural disasters occurring (I feel like that's the wrong term cause they ain't gonna end).
I didn't know much about DeSantis. All I knew is that I can't visit Flordia anymore :/ There's some wild shit online about him, though. On the related topic, makes sense why climate is revolting against him.
Hmm... Who's the false prophets this is addressing? And, what would they need to double check? Perhaps double checking the lies (since they are false)?
Used camels be upon you... Hmm... What would a not used camel be? What makes them used? Is it bad that they are used? It's maybe good that they are used as a getaway (depends on the circumstances)
Dates, on the other hand, do not make good getaways. They are tasty, though
Wait... Are the dates slightly used? Cause I'm good. I will only consume unused dates
Garrys mod??? And the only thing I'm seeing for pootis is a weird looking bird :/

I think before I go to bed, I should make it clear that my flippancy about the failed assassination attempt on Trump is because this man didn't give enough of a fuck to protect the citizens of the country he fucking ran from a deadly virus that killed hundreds of thousands of people in that country alone.
Like we talk a lot about all presidents being war criminals to come extent but for your average American, it's very hard to put names and faces to the anonymous brown people we hear getting bombed by drone strikes on the other side of the world. Like we know it's bad, but because we don't see these people, it's hard to actually like, internalize that. But with COVID? Your average American knew somebody who died, or almost died, or was in danger or dying. And this motherfucker, pumping his fist in the air after getting grazed by a bullet while a spectator in the crowd died, got to live through getting COVID because he was the President when he got it. He lived when our friends, our family, or neighbors, suffered and died. Hundreds of 9/11s worth of deaths happened while he was running for re-election. It's now gotten to over a million under Biden, but those early days when the most could have been done to curb the number of deaths, we just were at the mercy of a man who could not give a less of a liquid, fast-food induced shit about the average American. Like I know the government gladly serves capital over us but I've never seen it so mask off in my entire life.
I can't speak for when Reagan was president, mind, I was born halfway through his second term. Not a whole lot of memories of that because I was, you know, a baby.
But like Reagan, Trump did not take the lives of our countrymen seriously enough to even look out for us when we needed it most, and it wasn't even motivated by homophobia; just indifference. He failed us, not that we ever expected that much of him to begin with. The blood of people who we know with faces and names and voices and memories are dead because of him. And even if COVID is "over," he's made it clear that if he gets in, he doesn't fucking care if he does shit that kills more people through simply not caring, or just out of spite.
I'm sorry that I find it hard to try and play at good optics and respectability politics for the sake of not giving republicans ammo (they're gonna find ammo regardless, they always do). This man raped our country, and that word choice is very deliberate. He stumbled in, took what he wanted, broke so many rules, violated every boundary put into place to keep him in check, and like a vengeful ex, sicc'd a pack of his flying monkeys to enact violent revenge on the government elected by the people that dumped his ass. He's a petty little tyrant trying to become a dictator so he can huff deep from the most concentrated narcissistic supply known to a modern leader so far this century, and he has apologists who think he should have raped the country harder.
I am going to continue to live my life as normal as I possibly can, to try and focus on what I can do for myself to be happy and have a sense of stability and to be able to like myself, while also doing what I can to support my friends and loved ones. To remember the dead and remember what it was like to come down with COVID myself and how awful it felt. To try not to lose hope and vote if only just to protect the rights of my friends, my family, and myself, and hope that we can get through this together, whatever the fuck it will even be. I'm kinda scared, and jokes make things a little less scary because at least I know there are other people who are just as frustrated as I am, reacting the same way.
We gotta look for each other. Monke together strong.

Stay safe, guys. You are loved.

This is the image that will win Trump the White House. The dems could put clone of Lincoln uo against him and Americans will still vote for the motherfucker in November purely based on this image alone.
The only thing we can pray for now is that he will leave after his second term and never return, but even that is doubtful.
I was telling my parents how scary the world is at the moment and the only advice they gave me was to stop worrying about something you have no control over, but how can I? Trump probably won't even impact my life that much since I'm not American, but, like, It's still going to affect others and being a decent fucking human I'm obviously going worry for those that will be hurt by a Trump presidency.
Idk man it's good that he didn't actually get shot because that would've just kicked off a whole fucking civil war with the way things are but idk I just feel sad and I'm ranting.
Also Despicable Me 4 fucking sucked

Holy hell, is this the end of Dead Presidents?
I remember when you were a big Bill Clinton fan and I know you stated Biden was one of your favorite politicians, even prior to being the VP. Now it seems like any respect you've had for them is gone. Are you doing ok, man?
Last night was rough. I love Joe Biden and have for a long time. I think he's a good man and has been a good President. That's part of what makes all of this so painful, but I can't pretend I didn't see what I saw during the debate.
People say this in every single election cycle and have been saying it for 200 years, but this is the most important Presidential election in American history. We've had a preview of what life under Donald Trump is like, and a second term would be even more dangerous because one of the features he's selling his cult of supporters is that there will be no guardrails this time around. After what happened following the 2020 election, this year's election is going to be scary even if Trump is decisively defeated. He won't accept it, no matter what, and the personality cult that he has built and commands will literally believe anything he lies about. And he lies about everything. He's dangerous. I can't stress that enough. Donald Trump and his political movement is the biggest danger to American democracy we've ever had.
So, to put it frankly, we can't fuck around. Donald Trump needs to be defeated. President Biden is the guy who beat Donald Trump in 2020, but I don't know if he can do it in November, and that's a gamble I am not willing to make anymore. Not after what I saw last night. Something has to change, or else we are in serious trouble. The blueprint that Trump and his allies have laid out for his second term is fucking frightening, and they are better equipped to do what they intend to do. They already have a friendly Supreme Court that is the most ideologically oriented judicial body in American history and has two justices who are at best conflicted and quite possibly corrupt and complicit. Just look at the decisions being handed down by the Supreme Court this week alone. They've already overturned Roe v. Wade and radically limited if not totally eliminated a woman's right to choose in a vast section of the country. Don't think for a second that same-sex marriage, LGBTQ rights, civil rights, and more aren't also on their radar.
I'm not the kind of guy who stops fighting, so I'm not going anywhere. But this isn't going to be fun. It hasn't been for almost 10 years now, but we're really in the shit now.

Sorry sorry, I know it fiction, but Jesus first Rowling and now this guy.
They doesn’t really understand American culture
https://x.com/discussingfilm/status/1779570150691238374?s=46
Oh Brits we are still PISSED with FDR multiple terms and what I keep looking up. A lot of ww2 are probably beating FDR with his own wheelchair in the afterlife
Also mortar striking civilians on USA soil? I pretty sure a lot for military personnel will be more blind and deaf than Hellen Keller
Just because the pres is the boss, doesn’t mean we listen to every goddamn thing he said
So there this videogame series called the Division
It a post apocalyptic setting that centered around the leak smallpox virus stimulation Dark Winter as this trailer pointed out
https://youtu.be/b8LLVLJd-WM?si=Ie83PrOth32fAAlw
And here the opening for the first game(plays the second one because it was for 3$ once)
https://youtu.be/8lSNNyHzmc4?si=FSEuBEExSpXth7em
And yes the community did pandemic jokes, first it was Wuhan…then the scary similarities when covid hit us
Keep in mind the first division game was announce 10 years ago this summer. So how da fuck a online shooter and looter predicted a pandemic we went through so well
Now why I saying that because the division have you fight in a godforsaken nyc and Washington DC…..well..more godforsaken? Well you got hi tech to protect yourself
Also is there a real life MLK library in dc?…I had to shoot it up in a sidequest…sorry king
Yes it got the Tom Clancy logo that Ubisoft love to slap on its military oriented games.
But division ironically feel more realistically because despite being in a post apocalyptic setting. It let you do altruistic acts like help my ally settlements like there one sidequest where I could get some more power to a settlement that allow kids play some video games
Actually there a clip I dm you of Npcs that made me think I doing a damn
Sorry I think because in America we often take a piss out of our founding father or president(Franklin, Jefferson, FDR, JKF, Clinton, Bush, Trump. You ones that list)
I just find it hard that we would be become devoted to a fascist president when we usually just treat the president as a lesser evil that we tolerate for 4-8 years.
Tumblr media
Part of the fight scene at the end of (I think) the first Sam Rami Spiderman film, Spidey is trying to do a rescue and gobby is being gobby and all of a sudden everyone remembers they're a New Yorker and starts chucking rocks at him among other things.
Microcosm of US culture right there that this guy doesn't get, wouldn't just be TX and CA, if there was a genuine threat there wouldn't be one for long.
After we took care of that issue we'd go back to hating each other.
ect. Just because the pres is the boss, doesn’t mean we listen to every goddamn thing he said
Ya plenty of defiance, usually not violent, we take it to the courts.
And yes the community did pandemic jokes, first it was Wuhan…then the scary similarities when covid hit us
There were lots of Resident Evil jokes about that one to, that and Plague Inc.
Keep in mind the first division game was announce 10 years ago this summer. So how da fuck a online shooter and looter predicted a pandemic we went through so well.
We were predicting it on here too, mostly as a joke though. Simpsons too.
One of the first things I said after it started getting traction as a news story is 'I hope no idiot says something stupid that triggers a toilet paper shortage caused by hoarders'
Because it's incredible how predictable these things can be.
Also is there a real life MLK library in dc?…I had to shoot it up in a sidequest…sorry king
Tumblr media
'I have a dream that one day people will need to bust a cap in a fictional version of my library' - the ghost of MLK probably.
But division ironically feel more realistically because despite being in a post apocalyptic setting. It let you do altruistic acts like help my ally settlements like there one sidequest where I could get some more power to a settlement that allow kids play some video games
We're the most charitable people on earth iirc so that makes sense.
Actually there a clip I dm you of Npcs that made me think I doing a damn
if ya like, feel free
Sorry I think because in America we often take a piss out of our founding father or president(Franklin, Jefferson, FDR, JKF, Clinton, Bush, Trump. You ones that list) I just find it hard that we would be become devoted to a fascist president when we usually just treat the president as a lesser evil that we tolerate for 4-8 years.
There's a real failure to learn out there, what with what everyone seems to think the president has the authority to do.
Student loan thing for example, everyone got pissed at the supreme court for upholding the separation of powers as defined in the constitution and they quoted nacy saying he lacked the authority in their ruling.
President doesn't control the money, congress does, president sends a budget to congress and they say yes or no, president can declare war congress can say we're not paying for it, president can say I'm building a wall on the southern border, congress can say we're not paying for that.
Things would work out better for online debate if folks took a elementary civics course and actually committed that stuff to memory

Dear Americans on this Hellsite,
this is a 40+ European asking you to do the only sensible thing in November and vote blue. Americans need to realise that the vote they cast in a presidential election, doesn't only affect their own country, but the world - for better or worse. Most people who aren't genuine fans of fascists and totalitarian assholes, are watching you from afar with dread, fearing what 4 years with Trump and his horror show of right wing extremists will do to your country and the rest of the world. "It's none of your business!" some of you might say. "Worry about your own country!" some think. "This is OUR country, it doesn't concern you!" some will say. But, for better or worse, America is a superpower with a lot more influence than what's good for the world. The list of international crimes and transgressions made by your elected governments over the years is LONG and depressing. Outside of the US, a lot of us are worried about YOU, because it feels so damn wrong to see this horror show. Your very voting system is warped to KEEP YOU FROM VOTING. It's designed to make it as difficult as possible for poor people to cast their vote. Gerrymandering is a term I'd never heard of before John Oliver described your country's VERY fucked up voting system. Trump back in power - a man who OPENLY ADMIRES ACTUAL DICTATORS! - will not only have consequences for you, but for the rest of the world and it's terrifying. Trump loves dictators. He loves to think he can charm forth "the best deals" by rubbing elbows with WAR CRIMINALS who most likely see him as nothing but a gullible moron who'll accept any deal that makes him look powerful. All his personality flaws aside, Trump is disturbingly disinterested in actual ruling. He wants to be on top and in the spotlight, but he has no sense of responsibility or moral. He has the attention span of a puppy dog - and none of it's cuteness. He's almost comically narcissistic, uneducated, careless and he cares nothing about increasing the opportunities for those who are poorly educated due to socioeconomic reasons. He loves the poorly educated, because he sees them as a means to an end. He loves people who are easily caught up in emotions, because he doesn't have to explain any actual political ideas to them. But no matter how much his followers scare and frustrate plenty of people outside America, very few of us would wish them ill. They're not enemies, they're a complex mix of people who for one reason or another feel at home with this wannabe dictator's "simple solutions" to problems he has no fucking idea how to solve, because he doesn't give a single fuck. He loves the spotlight, the crowds, the cheers. He's a con artist who thrives from other people pumping his ego. From afar, seeing this man still being able to run for president a third time, despite inciting an actual COUP when he lost the second election, is so fucking depressing and scary. Do you understand the utterly catastrohpy pulling the aid from Ukraine would mean? Do you remember what happened when Trump's ministration withdrew the troops from Afghanistan so fast that the Biden ministration had no time to put a halt to it? Ukraine, for obvious reasons, have no desire to see a Republican as a president due to how the MAGA crowd has shaped the party so profoundly in the last 8-10 years. Trump in the White House is a threat to not only Ukraine's right to exist, but to other countries in Europe who once belonged to USSR, Soviet Union. We're talking about 15 sovereign states and A HUGE area. Putin, unless you didn't know, used to be a KGB agent. It's not a secret by any means and that alone should make you REALLY scared of what could happen in the world, should a gullible, easily flattered narcissist with no fucking attention span, who lies as often as he breathes, once again be in power of the world's only superpower. Do you understand the threat here? Vote blue. Rolling dice with democracy is never a good choice.

I think blue no matter who people are stuck on fear and have not thought about stuff beyond that. ie it is very scary to imagine a second trump term, especially the more you learn about project 2025 or whatever the fuck their sinister machinations are called, and yeah that’s definitely something I agree with but I would love for you guys to think further than that please. think about. and I know this is tough when you’re scared. but think about stuff that effects people and places beyond yourself because there are a lot of those and they are just as human as you and a lot of them are scared too. a lot of them are more scared than you even if you can believe it. like. I promise I get it. I live in marjorie the gathering’s district I am well aware that republican officials suck shit. nobody doesn’t know that. but I feel like you should have a higher bar than “he’s in the club I’m in” or “not convicted of crimes” or “I have imagined without evidence that the orange one will aid and abet this genocide somewhat more than my preferred old man is currently aiding and abetting genocide so it is a moral imperative to let the current one continue the slightly smaller amount of weapons dealing”

Y’all understand that the purpose of voting uncommitted in the primary is another form of protest to get Biden to choose between a second term and ending military funding for the IDF right?
I keep seeing posts that are frustrated about this because they assume the people who are voting uncommitted are doing it because they hate Biden (and if that’s the case I get it tbh), but I need everyone to understand that there is an inherent strategy in this tactic. The Democratic Party is putting all of its money behind Biden and not putting any other candidates in the Primary, leaving Democratic voters with only one option - the same person who refuses to call for a Ceasefire and is continuing to fund a whole fucking genocide while we tirelessly protest, write/call in to our representatives, and post online to spread awareness. They’re not giving voters a choice electorally. So by voting “uncommitted” instead of simply voting for Biden (in HUGE numbers btw) they’re sending a clear message about where their priorities really lie.
The whole point of voting is to use your voice to tell your leaders what you want! Voters are the only thing standing between politicians and any power they wish to wield. By not voting for Biden in the Primary voters are able to hold him accountable and say “you’re not holding true to the duty of your office, the office we put you in and pay for, to represent us faithfully, so now you don’t get to keep that office.” It’s essentially telling Biden to wise the fuck up, because the ultimatum is genocide or no more power. He will lose the privilege of getting to lead if he doesn’t listen to the people he represents.
I get being scared about this. Protesting can be scary sometimes. Trump is a huge fucking threat to everything and everyone I love. He is a literal fascist who can’t be trusted to run a lawnmower let alone an entire country. But Biden and the Democratic Party are banking all their money on that fear being the sole motivator this November, so that they can continue with business as usual and not do their fucking jobs. They don’t want to listen to voters about calling for a Ceasefire because they want to continue taking money from AIPAC and other zionists, and because they don’t want further conflict between the US and anyone else. By voting uncommitted voters are sending the message that Biden is not doing his job (democratically representing the American people) and they are prepared to fire him for it.
