It's almost hilarious how even when Viktor is trying to get rid of his humanity it just highlights how partial he's to Jayce. His villain speech isn't even threatening, he searches for Jayce to talk especifically, he is still trying to convince Jayce to join him or to see the benefits of glorious evolution, I would say even trying to impress him. He touches Jayce's forehead even when it's not necessary to know his mind, he keeps the blanket even when he does not feel cold or warm long ago. He could have easily kill him but instead he decides to talk more with him about glorious evolution hoping he to accept him without realizing that Jayce is what makes him look the most human, the most desperate for company and understanding

I'm about an hour into Grian's server tour & we've seen Ren, Tango, Cleo, Scar, & just finished Joe Hills & holy fuck. Holy shit. This guy is fucking wild. He's describing how he used an actual architectural survey to map out his base & I am just. What the fuck man. My fiance says, "Joe Hills is just built different." Incredulously, I agree. "Actual fucking cryptid man."

(Also I love how most of this is just to have a space for the hermits to build all the weird shit their hearts desire without having to worry about fitting the aesthetics into their bases. It's legit the sweetest fucking thing. I just fucking love it so much.)

the fact that aegon wants to be known as the realm's delight even knowing how insane it must sound for him to say that out loud... he's truly grasping at straws in a way that we've honestly seen from the beginning. aegon has spent his entire life wanting viserys's love, and he has only ever seen it given to rhaenyra (never mind that rhaenyra herself went without it for years). of course he wants whatever rhaenyra has, be it her throne or her epithets. he's convinced himself that if he subsumes rhaenyra's entire identity, if he crawls inside her skin, he can experience what it is to know the love of a father. he knows it will not be the same as experiencing it firsthand; he knows he will never get any closer and so he wants it anyways.
