I can't get over season 6 of House SPECIFICALLY when House and Wilson move in together. They're so domestic and old married couple, it sickens me..

y'know, i've heard a lot about s6e10, but Nothing could've prepared me for the sheer amount of Gay infused into every moment of it??? like.

house getting defensive over wilson's friendship with tucker ("he doesn't even know your name! he calls you jim!" <- says the man who only ever calls him wilson or jimmy). house being open/mature with wilson about his feelings regarding cuddy+lucas.

the iconic, insane: "if you die, i'm alone." (fig. 1)

house sitting by wilson's bed throughout the entirety of his surgery recovery montage. wilson realizing that house was right about tucker and "actually, it's james."

them moving into a loft together (bought from wilson's second ex-wife, who, while married to him, felt that he was always there for house and never for her), specifically the loft that cuddy wanted to move into with lucas (because wilson was mad that she hurt house's feelings) ????????? THEY REALLY DON'T MAKE QUEERBAIT LIKE THIS ANYMORE.

so uuhhhhh i just watched Wilson for the first time and:

wilson “being house” for the first half of the episode

house putting 100 dollars on cancer

the liver⁉️⁉️

wilson “being house” with cuddy and there not be a big charade about it (i stan wuddy)

house being the last thing wilson sees before going under (and his little smile)

wilson referring to everything as ours (we do need a bigger refrigerator, I’m changing our address to a p.o. box)

when shows do an episode like Wilson, it’s always a 50/50 if they do the inverse or not and i sooooo wish they did with this bc i would have loved to see the team dissect house about visiting wilson and house’s internal dilemma about visiting wilson

another thing i liked about Wilson was that it has such good hilson and wuddy representation

i have so much to say about wuddy and this episode added to that discussion immensely but that is for another time, moving on

hilson:

house playing Faith by george michael at six something in the morning (well, I guess it would be nice if I could touch your body/I know not everybody has got a body like you)

“Wilson” is an iconic episode for a lot of reasons, but on top of everything else (“if you die I’ll be alone”, “the person you want when your dying isn’t always the person you want when you’re living”, Wilson being the worlds softest marshmallow, Wilson channeling House, the beginning of The Gay Loft Saga), my favourite thing is that because the camera is following Wilson this episode, we have no idea what House’s case is about. We get a glimpse into how insane House and his team much look to the rest of the hospital, how random and out of pocket their conversations must seem from the outside.

also we see so much less of Cuddy because Wilson doesn’t seek her out unnecessarily the way House does.

what house did for freedom master was a perfect microcosm of the way he operates. he wants to do something kind so he does something irresponsible and frames it as if he’s trying to prove someone wrong. he wants so desperately to believe that he himself is not delusional, or that if a delusion makes someone happy it doesn’t need to be fixed, that he risks the life of someone who he clearly cares about, despite not knowing him at all.

also, he can’t run, so when he gets scared, he freezes. this happens a lot but i feel like there was so much attention called to it in this episode
