The thing is, even if you were lucky and your parents taught you how to clean, they probably didn't teach you how to clean the stuff you clean stuff with, like brushes, mops, sponges, rags, and so on. Or how to clean your cleaning appliances, like a dish washer, clothes washing machine, and clothes dryer and its ducts (if you have a ducted dryer), or a carpet cleaner, vacuum, Or how to clean up clean messes, like spilled bleach or detergent.

My parents threw away all of these things (even the vacuum cleaners and the dryer) when they got too dirty to function, because no one even told them THAT they could be cleaned. Cost them thousands of dollars over the years.

All I'm saying is that cleaning is not intuitive, and not knowing how to clean is not a moral failing, but it is something you can learn.

i can't be the only one who's just straight-up ... bored with women hating themselves. my mom keeps lamenting to me how upset she is about her gray hair. my friend stares at her laugh lines every day in agony. my sister loses sleep over the horrible unbearable thought of looking fat. and every time these women i love open up to me, i can't help but think ... then stop staring at yourself? stop drowning yourself, narcissus, and just fucking live your life instead of sitting in front of a mirror obeying cosmetic corporations' lies. just stop it. this is getting ridiculous. you're too smart to be falling for this bullshit. The sympathy given to "isolated" teens who *checks notes* spent a couple months online in 2020 really make the bile rise in my throat when you see just how little sympathy literally everyone who is going into 5 years of forced isolation by society to keep from contracting a disease that will kill them. If playing animal crossing with your friends for a few months damaged you irreparably, can you even imagine how disabled and high risk people feel who have no such luxury? Who have lost all connections because they *dared* ask people to keep masking and take tests for them? Do you seriously think video chats with friends and family every day for weeks on end is the same thing as carcerialy-enforced solitary confinement, or are you just rewriting covid history to center those with privilege as victims so you don't have to face the deadly reality of millions of lives lost and millions more disabled? (both numbers still steadily ticking upward, btw)

The way ableism is constantly retooled into "think about the children" culture war falsehoods will never cease to amaze me. The way collectivism in any form is so throughly demonized because a very small subset of people had a super bad time *checks notes* not getting to do exactly what they wanted during a rapidly-unfolding and incredibly deadly public health event really pisses me off because the data shows by and large that the people who had real problems with isolation are EXACTLY THE SAME PEOPLE STILL FACING ISOLATION OR DEADLY ILLNESS IN A "POST-COVID" SOCIETY.

So sorry you couldn't go to the movies during 2020. I had friends who couldn't not go to work who died. I had family die. I watched artists and creators I loved die. So sorry having to use discord and zoom traumatized you so much for protecting you from something people I wish were still alive didn't get protection from.
