Zelda having a secret room for when she "needs to concentrate" carries with it the implication that it's Link that makes it difficult to concentrate, since they pretty clearly lived together between BOTW and TOTK. A lesser zelink shipper would turn this into something romantic but I'm operating on a higher wavelength.

Thinking of what it must be like to be loved by a ship like the Perihelion. I think it must be a little like being loved by a god. A minor god and one with true personality, a god from a pantheon, with limited power and no claims to be all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving, no claims of being the One True God. And yet, a god. Its mind so powerful it can be present with you and yet in a hundred other places simultaneously, it holds you safe inside of it - or not (as Mother Nature holds us safe on Earth - or not). It can rain destruction when angered or help you if it wishes. Inside of its realm (itself), within its dominion, it sees all, controls all (not other people, but the very ground you walk on, the air you breathe). Outside of it, it can help you if it sees what is happening, but is not in control of everything. If you are within its reach, it is there, present with you always, a voice in your head, a friend (because this god spaceship loves you).

Screaming.

Please do not do this but I just screamed for 30 minutes so here’s what you should know.

Can’t do it continuously for very long, have to stop to breathe (amount of time and breaths it takes to recover depends on how long you hold it)

It is EXHAUSTING. Seriously, if your whumpee has been screaming for more than thirty seconds multiple times, they won’t have ANY energy to fight back against the whumper. My head was hanging down for a bit because I was just so tired. The exhaustion also caused dizziness when I stood up. Also it’s been around five minutes and my throat still hurts super bad.

Oddly, I could still talk, maybe a bit of rasp in my voice but still effectively and fairly easily. (Again, about thirty minutes with tiny breaks)

Seriously when the exhaustion hits, it hits H A R D

Mouth kinda hurts too tbh

Heart beats pretty rapidly during and shortly after

My head hurts

Both hurts and helps to cough

Update an hour later: slightly hurts throat to talk

Moral of the story:

Don’t scream so much that you exhaust yourself,

Platonic love is not raved about enough in my opinion. i know it's been said but dan and phil meeting and knowing from almost the first moments that they would be each others person, that they had a connection deeper and more intuitive than words really fucks me up. of course they have faced and dealt with difficult moments and hardships but deciding to get through those moments together, the foundation of that strength comes from the depth of their connection and devotion to each other.

Rey, who is in my very biased opinion, one of the funniest "girls" I have because she's just a guy, truly. Like Rey is just short for Reynold because he was recruited by a a goddess to help the hero she selected and the hero is conveniently Reynold's younger brother. under the cut are some notes + a basic druid spell sheet for cosette that doesnt really add much but i did indeed still make it .

they are both drow ! i was about to make cosette a high elf but i realized that goes against the point of them being the same, nobody girls from nowhere, only differing in circumstance.

i like to think drow goth!cosette carries parasols for practicality :)

following the train of thought of them being the same, i used the same ability rolls for the both of them (they are not very good. but theyre at lvl 3 rn so they can be slightly improved soon at least)

also : if it isnt obvious, their ideals are also the same. love.

cosette is a circle of dreams druid, who are all about dreaminess and wonder and hope, and i think that suits her immensely; being an embodiment of hope has always been her thing and spreading that to others after she has found her own means lots to me

éponine is a phantom rogue, who are these super cool guys who are in touch with death and draw power from spirits. i chose this in accordance with this interpretation of éponine where she is small and fleeting, meaning so little that she’s hardly even there. ghostlike. haunted and haunting.
