This show was the first time the studio version of "The World is Ugly" was performed live. I have been freaking out on Twitter about the magic 8 ball songs and the medley and tourdust in general but like you don't understand. you don't UNDERSTAND. it's not just the fact we've gotten stuff they haven't ever played. it's not just that they're bringing back deep cuts. it's not just all of that.

it's the fact we're all older. the guys are twenty years older, most people in here have been fob fans for at least a decade. it's the fact that they're not just playing them for the nostalgia factor, they're doing it because this tour is a celebration of two decades worth of this weird little emo band that changed the emo scene forever and became legends to at least two generations of emo kids so far.

it's the fact they've gained the courage to play folie a deux. the album patrick said they would likely never play live again because of the initial reception, the album that got booed whenever they played songs off it live in 2008-2009. it's the fact that headfirst slide went from a very shaky first attempt at a secret show to a setlist regular pat can now sing with a smile every night.

it's the fact that pete wentz, who thought he'd die young, who thought he'd join the 27 club, is now a father in his early 40s playing his bass and having fun with his best friends while they play songs about the time he almost ended it all. it's the fact we've seen him not only heal, but highlight the scars and the beauty in the pain. like kintsugi.

it's the fact andy and joe got exactly what they wanted. joe got a guitar album he loved, he got to focus on himself and take some time off knowing full well the band and the fans had his back, being included in everything from music videos to promotional things, and now he can enjoy his time going on the road again in a better state of mind. it's the fact andy lives for drumming, and he can do what he does best with his favorite song on the album, one that he basically begged to play the entire press run for the album.

it's the fact that the piano medley songs let patrick lay his heart out for everyone to see. it's the fact he's playing golden, what a catch, beautiful songs we haven't heard in so long. it's the fact he's gotten the courage to sing fucking soul punk in front of a crowd that ten years earlier told him they liked him better in fall out boy, to make a new spiritual successor in stardust and sing it too. it's the fact he's lost the fear to do those things, because he's realized there's nothing to fear anymore, people will sing back those songs to him with affection.

it's the fact they're also doing newer stuff. the fact they haven't forgotten about srar, ab/ap, mania. they still affirm those parts of their history, because they are still unashamedly fall out boy.

it's the fact these four guys have all gone through hell and back together, and we're all stronger on the other side. it's the fact we've all grown up together, and now we're all adults in this fucked up world trying to figure ourselves out but we know it will be okay because we made it through all that and we're still standing. it's the fact that they built it, and we came, and we stayed.

it's the fact we're still here.

named after the roman goddess of fate, FORTUNA is the debut album by the s-pop girl group, the fates. the album is filled with lush, unique melodies that perfectly compliments the women’s ethereal and peculiar charms. FORTUNA opens with an unbelievably dreamy and almost fairytale-like intro that melts into an euphorically rich and punchy deep-house title track. the album also includes songs ranging from calming bossa nova, upbeat saccharine pop, and r&b-tinged lullabies. the album itself perfectly captures the intense curiosity, nervousness, and giddiness of the three goddess-like figures and their hopeful late summer rendezvous with the oblivious morals they have observed from far, far away for their entire lives. one could only wonder for how long will these feelings of joy and wonder could last for these inquisitive deities before they have the chance to interact with the very same humans whose lives they have heavily impacted in both wonderful and terrifying ways.

Rewatching 4x18: The Monster at the End of This Book and it is absolutely fucking insane with the context of season 15.

Like first of all, the title. It's the episode where Chuck is introduced and we all know now how he is God and was the final big bad the boys had to defeat. I know it's a bit iffy if it was always planned for Chuck to be God but coincidence or not, what a lovely parallel.

But more than anything else, throughout the entire episode Dean is desperately trying to break free of the narrative, of Chuck's visions. Sam doesn't give a flying fuck but that's a whole different can of worms.

The only thing that allows Dean to do that is Castiel. Cas chooses free will when he chooses to tell Dean that archangels are tied to prophets in order to help him help Sam. When Dean goes to get Chuck, Chuck says,

"What are you doing here? I didn't write this."

Which takes place only a couple of scenes after Cas tells Dean that a prophet's visions can't be changed.

"As he has seen it, so it shall come to pass."

Castiel defied the word of a God with one single decision.

Cas choosing free will is the catalyst, and will always continue to be. Look at what Chuck said to Castiel in 15x17: Unity,

"You know what every other version of you did after 'gripping him tight and raising him from perdition?' They did what they were told. But not you. Not the 'one off the line with a crack in his chassis.'"

Cas has always been the one thing that Chuck couldn't control, even from the moment we first met Chuck way back in season 4, and that fact alone makes me fucking feral.

At this show, "Fake Your Death" was performed live for the first time and only time ever, an unreleased song entitled "Sister to Sleep" was performed live for the first time since 2003, with new lyrics, and "SING" was performed live for the first time since 2012. Five tally marks were drawn on the drums. (🖤)

Like please, I can't tell you how much I love the idea that they actually followed up with this and ended up becoming one of the most popular channels in the whole Devildom.

Their channel name could be just "HoL" ( because House of Lamentation, y'know? )

I can imagine demons going to watch a video just for MC out of curiosity because of course, they're interested in seeing what the human living with the Seven Rulers of Hell is like ( or they're simply going for the brothers since they're pretty much celebrities in the Devildom and have many fans already ). But then they end up enjoying the content, MC's personality and dynamic with the brothers and become die-hard fans 🤭

And what this could bring to the Devildom? It would be amazing! Because think about it, demons would be tuning in, watching MC, and unconsciously becoming more tolerant and accepting of humans. Because although the Devildom consumes human media such as music, movies, anime, etc, they don't really have the chance to see what an actual human is like ( how they navigate ordinary situations, interact with others, their sense of humor, etc ) due to the fact that they have their own social media and streaming platforms with no humans in it. Because again, why would demons go through the trouble of having YouTube, Twitch, or IG when they have perfectly good demon content creators to follow and obsess over on their own demonic platforms?

And going back to the silly side of things, these idiots ( affectionately ) would make such good content. Like the brothers mention in the chats👆, there would be gaming content with Levi, ASMRs with Beel, beauty videos with Asmo, scandal worthy stories with Satan & Belphie, etc. And not to mention other series they could do, for example: pranking videos of the brothers messing with each other would be fucking hilarious, Beel's workout routine tutorials would bomb, MC, Mammon & Levi doing stupid challenges, Satan raging while roasting shit books, the angels and Solomon showing up as guests on multiple videos ( which would also help the audience grow more accepting of non-demons ), and videos with the whole crew together would be just the most chaotic shit ever. Like, look at the variety!

It's funny because I've always liked the idea of MC becoming a streamer/content creator on the Devildom ( there are multiple streamer!mc posts on my page ) but I didn't even remember these chats existed till I went to revisit the og game stuff.

Fucking amazing. Yes, I'd watch the shit out of that channel.
