She could have still been a reporter we saw once in a while! She could have been a great arc for Buck to fully realize that their breakup was meant to happen for him to find a great partner. She could have popped on the news while Tommy was sitting on Buck's couch and he would have felt him tense up and would have asked what this was about. Buck would have willingly shared the information and would have said good things about her and how she was a pivotal point in his life, and Tommy would beam at his boyfriend showing emotional maturity and would make a funny comment on how he can understand Buck's attraction. And they'd hug and Taylor would have, yet again, been a good token character in Buck's life!

Raise your hand if you think Taylor Kelly deserved to exist within the narrative as an independent party and the choice to write her out of the show almost entirely after her breakup with Buck was a maybe understandable but still extremely unfortunate decision!!
