Timkon clone baby au except it's timberkon.

Let me explain: timkon clone baby au happens exactly as expected, except that Bernard still enters the relationship at some point. Timkons clone baby is still young so when Bernard joins and is immediately ready to be father #3 it's almost like breathing how easily it happens. It's funny because timkon is obviously great with their baby, but regardless their kid loves Bernard more. Not because he's fun and will do anything but because Bernard is just more fun to listen to? It doesn't make sense but Bernard conspiracy theory history makes him really good at keeping people's attention and it works great on the kid so they end up spending a bunch of time with Bernard. If Tim can't get them to sleep Bernard can. If Kon can't get them to do their homework Bernard can. It's just how it goes. And when the kid gets older? They are even closer cause Bernard is immature at heart and loves to do stupid stuff with their pre teen kid. Do they both get scolded by Tim later? Absolutely. But will they do it again? 100%. And when the kid goes through the "hating my parents" phase and tries to tell Bernard that he isn't their dad, Bernard just doesn't let it phase him. Instead he pulls out the adoption papers that the kid does sign because yes they want Bernard to be their dad!! But the kid fails to realize their "your not my dad" argument now doesn't work on Bernard because he is, Infact their father.

Like imagine the interaction as school pick ups with the Karen mom's that are like

WIP excerpt behind the cut: interdimensional whoring for Timkon. (( chrono || non-chrono ))

Tim keeps stroking his hair, over and over, and twines his gloved fingers through his curls. Kon shudders underneath his hands, and Tim doesn’t have to see his eyes to know the exact half-lidded, hazy look that’s in them. He’s seen it countless times, at this point. Seen it again and again, and intends to see it plenty more times. 

“Any time, sweetheart,” he murmurs, and Kon melts in a way he’s seen just as many times; goes lax and soft and easy and lets his hands slide down the back of Tim’s other self’s thighs and curl around them just above the back of his knees. Tim knows exactly how that grip feels, lax and loose but steadying. Even like this, Kon always feels like he has his own center of gravity; like the sun at the center of someone’s galaxy. 

Obviously, yes. 

And he knows the other’s throat is still just as sweetly tight and sweetly open as always, too. 

“Your mouth is so good, sweetheart. We always love it,” Tim sighs appreciatively, going to lightly massaging Kon’s scalp as he speaks. Tugging his hair; twisting curl after curl of it around his fingers. Rubbing the textured grips of his gloved fingertips over and into every little place he knows Kon likes best. 

Kon, unsurprisingly, reacts just the same as always for the treatment, and purrs blissfully, staying soft and compliant and content with the hands in his hair and the praise in his ear and his throatful of cock. 

“Jesus,” Tim’s other self croaks, a rough shudder going through him. “What . . . ?” 

“He’s purring,” Tim informs him casually, because he didn’t know that was what it was the first time he heard it either. It definitely is not a human sound, or even an earthly one. “Means he likes us.” 

He watches his other self go through the experience of realizing, in order, how much he’s understating that, how much Kon in fact loves this, and how much Kon loves this when he’s barely even gotten touched. 

He figures he’ll let his other self figure out in his own time that no matter how happy Kon gets, the purring only happens when he feels really, genuinely safe somewhere. That’d been a good moment, when he’d first realized that for himself. 

“We love how you get like this, Kon. Your mouth is so good, and you always thank us so pretty for fucking it,” he murmurs down at Kon, whose purring gets raspier and softer and heady-sounding. His hands keep gripping the backs of Tim’s other self’s thighs, and his body stays soft and easy. Tim knows for a fact they could move him anywhere right now and he’d go. He also knows Kon would be fine if they kept him down on his knees like this all night and never really touched him at all, and would even like it. If they just used him like this and didn’t even get him off–except maybe by letting him get himself off, at most. 

Tim’s seen the appeal of giving that treatment before; taken his time about making sure Kon felt like something useful and appreciated, like something with a purpose, and a purpose that someone he gave a fuck about valued and appreciated and trusted him to fulfill. Made him feel like that ‘til he purred for him just like this, in fact. 

But that’s not all he wants to do for him tonight. 

“You should tell Kon what you’re thinking about,” he tells his other self in the same casual tone he’s been using with him, tightening a languid fist in Kon’s hair. His other self is this Kon’s Robin, after all. So . . . 

His other self gives him a look full of wary suspicion and spiked irritation, but Kon’s mouth, unsurprisingly, takes priority. 

“I’m thinking about keeping him under my desk when I have to write my full mission report about those stupid fucking robots,” his other self manages, and drops the hand half-over his face down to stroke shakily down the side of Kon’s open, inviting mouth where it’s wrapped around his cock as Kon goes to absolute liquid. “Nnn–fuck, you’re so–fuck. I should’ve come on your face. Should come on your face right now.” 

Kon purrs like a damn industrial engine. Tim’s other self curses hotly, and Tim gives Kon’s hair a gentle little pull with his fist and slips his free hand under his jaw. He thinks that was enough for Kon to get to keep and appreciate for now, and his dick’s fucking aching to get some appreciation of its own. 

“You’ll let us both have a turn, won’t you, sweetheart?” he asks lightly, and asks it the same way Robin would ask Superboy to do something he knew was going to seal the deal in a fight. “You can do that for us?” 

Kon’s too much purring liquid right now to even shudder, but he goes right with Tim’s gentle little pull and slides back off his other self’s cock, mouth going slack and soft only once it’s out of it. Tim’s other self groans roughly, tightening his grip on the desk again and dropping the hand on Kon’s face down to his collarbone, fingers digging in just above the bone. Tim rubs his fingertips into the soft underside of Kon’s jaw, just once, and then grips it and pulls it back just like he pulled his hair: easy, because Kon will let him, but inexorable, because he knows Kon will let him. 

And Kon does let him, of course. Tim stretches the other’s neck out fully and tips his head just shy of upside-down to get a full view of his face again, all flushed and hazy and visibly breathless. “Breathless” is always a nice achievement to get out of someone who doesn’t really need to breathe all that much, Tim’s always thought. He looks that flushed face over idle and appreciative, because no matter how many times he’s seen it, it’s always worth the appreciation, and then loosens his grip on Kon’s jaw just enough to stroke his fingertips into the underside of it again. Kon looks up at him hazily, his eyes blurred and not quite focused, and Tim can see his chest rising and falling just a little harder than usual, and his other self’s hand on the other’s collarbone, and just how easy Kon’s willing to be for them. 

Kon likes to be easy, and Tim likes to make him that way.

Batfam fic idea

So I put this in a tiktok comment but it'll probs be picked up here better.

I love one of the Batfam being a rescued Talon and bird/ bat language and them all chirping so my brain came up with an idea that I wanna see fleshed out.

Alfred has been looking for Bruce for years, he was taken at some point and we find out that the Court of Owls did this to make him a Talon or the Talon, idk.

Alfred has finally tracked him down and is going full red room to get his boy back (I'm an avid pennywayne shipper but you don't have to be to make this work). He finally find Bruce, only to have the Bruce done what he had always done and that's adopt kids, or in this case chicks, who are now also talons. You of course have Dick, Jason and Tim but the rest are up to you based on the main chunk on the fic which I'll get to later. Damien is either there as well or with Talia cuz the Court sold off Bruce's "stuff" to the Al Ghuls, if he is with Talia then make it a misson to get him cuz Talon Bruce is protective of what is his.

For the main chunk of the fic, have Alfred trying to tame his very feral kid and grandkids, who might keep increasing depending on your plot. He keeps trying to get them to speak instead of churping and he's feels himself getting older my the minute (but not really cuz he stand immortal Alfred) when he tries reintroducing them to society be it through school, work, clubs or super team bonding.

The JL can be an established thing if you want and Alfred got Bruce to be the bat and the others their monikers as a let out, queue an eventual batfam reveal cuz shenanigans and all the super teams having a feral bat with claws that hisses. Also want supers introducing their partners but also like, the batfam was in a cult and none of them know what is happening but apparently their friend shaped (I like Superbat, Birdflash, JayRoy and Timkon but again dealers choice). Also nests and cuddle piles and cute identity reveals but also glowing eyes from the dark, clawed hands, fangs and snarling. Alfred having to babysit cuz what do you mean I'm not allowed to unalive people and that it's wrong?

Maybe they try to remember life before they were taken, maybe they don't. Everyone ignoring high society and going yes this is grandad Alfred, he is our grandpa. Damien calling Bruce baba and everyone having a way of calling Bruce dad. Bruce learns about calling your kids nicknames and tries to act human and teach his kids human customs like that high five meme.

I just like this idea a lot.

Hi. I saw this post asking for a fic that changed one's brain chemistry. Now there are a lot of fics I like; over 2000 bookmarked on ao3. And a lot of fics I love; I have 400+ of those fics tagged 'fave'. Of those 400, there are only around two dozen I would say legitimately changed me as a person. 1% changed the way I saw relationships and the world, changed the way I read and write. And I couldn't narrow it down to one - or ten - and didn't want to dump in OP's tags. So have this list of fics that permanently changed who I am as a person.

Warning: I love long fics, and some of these are the same specific tropes that I love or that really affect me personally (ex. arranged marriage). Expect angst, and especially angst with a happy ending. That said these fics are all objectively amazing.

variations on a theme - 5k, complete, MCU, ironstrange. This is one of the fics that made me truly love ironstrange. Stephen sees through millions of possibilities and in doing so, falls in love with Tony. Evocative, beautiful, succinct.

The Art of Losing - 33k, complete, Red White and Royal Blue, firstprince. This fic made me cry. This fic BROKE MY HEART. And I WENT BACK TO IT. Multiple times! This is a breakup fic that breaks you down then puts you back together. You will come out different, and only you can say if it's for the worse or the better.

With so much of my heart (that none is left to protest) - 65k, complete, Red White and Royal Blue, firstprince. There are so many firstprince fics that essentially translate the events of the book into a different setting. And I love all of them. (My own fic, then fucking have me, also does this, self plug self plug self plug). I had to narrow this selection down to just one, and this is probably my absolute favorite.

You Don't Have To (Say Yes) - 192k, complete, Star Trek, spirk/Jim Kirk. This is within the niche genre that for some reason appeals to me specifically, of characters having a LOT of feelings about sex and dealing with it poorly (yeah, again).

THE MARRIAGE OF TRUE MINDS - 262k, complete, Star Trek, spirk. Star Trek arranged marriage epistolary fic. I read this 4 years ago, and I STILL think of a line from this fic constantly (we're aligned, we're aligned, we're aligned). If you don't read anything else for the rest of your life, read this.

DON'T THE WAVES PULL THE SAND? DON'T THE MOON PULL THE TIDES? - 58k, complete, Star Wars, finnpoe. I don't even go here. And yet. And yet. This is within the niche genre that for some reason appeals to me specifically, of characters having a LOT of feelings about sex and dealing with it poorly (yeah, AGAIN).

Not Part of the Plan - SERIES, 8 works, 337k, complete. Supernatural, destiel. This is an arranged marriage fic au series, that started with a oneshot pwp, and somehow grew into a sprawling, world and character building EPIC. And that to me is always a marker of quality. You KNOW it's good if the author couldn't stop themselves.

wander your own land - 379k, incomplete, Yellowjackets, shaunajackie and others. I told you I like long fics. Girl survival situationships, cannibalism, jealousy, cabin fever, hallucinations, trying to keep a fucking baby alive in some of the worst possible circumstances.

Infinite Variations of a Summer Day - 76k, complete, X-Men, Pietro Maximoff. I love Pietro, he is one of my favorite characters of all time, and this is such a great character fic. See Pietro slowly driven insane in a time loop that examines his relationships with himself, his team, his family, and his powers.

As much as I love TimKon, I prefer TimBern and it's mainly because of this:

“Bernard says I sacrifice myself like it's a bad thing.”

Tim, out of all of the BatFamily members is the one that never really had a choice.

Bruce had a choice to become Batman. He almost retired, until things went badly again and he realized how much more awful Gotham would be if he did.

Dick had a choice to become Robin. When Bruce fired him he could've finished college and lived a normal life, but he chose to continue on as Nightwing.

Jason had a choice to become Robin. And while his mind had been messed with after being dunked in the Lazarus Pit, he had a choice to become Red Hood, too.

Damian had a choice to become Robin. He fought hard for the role, and seems to genuinely enjoy doing it.

Tim didn't have a choice to become Robin. Yes, no one actually forced him into the role, but he saw what had happened to Bruce after Jason's death (such as how he became more violent), and knew that Bruce needed a Robin to keep himself sane. He tried going to Dick, but Dick said the best he could do was help as Nightwing as he wasn't willing to be Robin again. So Tim felt like he had to take up the role, because Batman, his greatest hero, would lose it if he didn't.

Tim also didn't have a choice to give up being a vigilante, unlike the others. When he got replaced as Robin, Bruce was trapped in time and everyone but him thought he was dead. He didn't have Dick's experience of going out soul searching and deciding that being a hero was what he wanted in life, he had to almost immediately take up a new secret identity and start going on missions so he could find out what happened to Bruce.

I love TimBern so much, because Bernard is Tim's connection to civilian life. If you're a hero dating a hero, even when you're being civilians and doing civilian things, there's always going to be the knowledge of who you both are really, and the missions you've been on together (Such as Tim looking at Kon and remembering things like when he tried to clone him because he was ‘dead’). I feel like with Bernard, Tim can be a full on civilian and forget about the hero life for a while, and that makes it special.

Also I just think Bernard is neat :3

this is an excerpt from my wip VV!timkon thing, and i want to know if they're being gay enough

Ever since he saw Sparrow’s face at the Watchtower, Kon has been hopelessly thinking about him since. The crush had waned a little since then, but when he saw the Bat appear in his kitchen… Oh Rao help him, he was gone.

Did Sparrow even feel the same? Kon doesn’t think he would be okay if Sparrow rejected him. How would he even go about flirting with the mysterious shapeshifter? Kon barely knew anything about him other than the fact that a) he’s a Bat, b) he can shapeshift into a fox, c) he’s dangerous (and Nightwing would probably kill for him, too), and e) he was hot.

Like, god strike him down, Sparrow was so hot. And not just hot, he was beautiful. Even with that cloak hanging off his shoulders, Kon could see his well-defined muscles being outlined by his suit, the Bat’s biceps were nothing to scoff at, nor were his thighs- oh his thighs. 

Good God, his face too. Like, how could one person be that beautiful? 

“What are you thinking about, handsome?” a voice purrs, and Kon immediately snaps his eyes open. 

His heart beat skyrocketed as he was met with the familiar sight of too-pale eyes. 

 And Kon, being half Lex Luthor, replies intelligently, “Uh…”

Of course, being half Lex Luthor doesn’t stop him from being stupid, but hey- he’s trying!

Ok so Tim is good at separating the relationships he has with others to the one he has with Bruce. Yes Bruce is his kid but Cass is his sister yk?

So when Tim inevitably dates somebody is he going to feel like he has to introduce them to Bruce the way a single parent introduces their new partner to their kid? Or is it not even going to occur to Tim and ofc Tim’s new partner isn’t going to have to parent Bruce that’s Tim’s kid but it doesn’t make him theirs?

Also how does Bruce feel when Tim eventually gets a new partner? Does he feel the same way a kid does and feels like Tim is going to abandon him to date someone and does he just think he’s being protective over ‘his son’? Is he just thinking that Kon (don’t mind me pushin my lil timkon agenda/ could totally be Bernard instead) isn’t good enough for Tim?

Bruce is a pain in Tim's ass that he wouldn't wish on anyone else but loves endlessly. If he dates someone, Bruce is his kid and his alone (well... and Alfred's too). It's like parents with new partners when they have adult children. Their parent's partner typically doesn't become their parent too. Some families are different about this, but that's an acceptable response and boundary. Some kids don't consider their parent's partner to be their parent either. I imagine that's how everyone involved with feel.

The only difference is that Tim's partner may want better for Tim. They may want him to stop running to Bruce's side/aid at the detriment of Tim. If so, this would start many, many fights. There is a TimKon fic (totally forget the name) where they are cuddling in the Manor in Tim's room when fighting starts up. Kon begs Tim not to go down to mediate, but Tim can't stay. He doesn't know how. The fic shows how drained and shitty mediating makes Tim feel, but he can't help it.

As for Bruce, he wouldn't know why the hell he feels similar to the idea of Alfred dating. He doesn't tie this connection together, but he does feel different about Tim dating than his other kids. At first, Bruce ties it to Tim being younger. Damian is quite dating yet, so it's a perfect reasonable conclusion. He would probably get a little jealous and upset that Tim is spending less time at the Manor and with the Bats in favor of his romantic relationship. Bruce ends up pouting a bit.

When the Alt-Batkids arrive in the good universe, Tim was working at the bat-computer with a child and she started crying when the Alt-Batkids appeared.

Tim just looks after his daughter while she plays on the floor with her toys, Alt-Tim sits next to her and avoids looking at the little girl, but having gathered the courage, he asks another Tim if he loves his daughter? Tim responds positively. Alt-Tim asks if it was painful to bring her into the world? Tim answers "yes" again - I love a misunderstanding too much, don't I?.

Damian asks Dick about Tim and baby. Angst and sadness.

Her name is Abigail Robin. The joy of her father and the arrival of spring, which symbolizes the beginning of all good things.

I do have a different name for the baby in my fic, but Abigail Robin sounds like a lovely name! I love that you had much thought aout the meanings - names are very important (LOL as can see anyone who read my fics XD )

I especially love when you mention how the timkon clone baby is a teenager and gets into fights with Tim, because that WOULD happen, especially if Kon was gone during their (early) formative years.

I especially think that bc of Tims childhood with parents that were never around, he would be overbearing, a "helicopter parent," so to say.

Something I would like to add that stressful pregnancies also affect the baby (that knowledge came with a semi-funny story)

And when they are born, and the stressed environment continues it also continues to affect the child.

Clone Baby would be in a VERY stressed environment, and a very depressed one, those factors with the teen parent thing all add up to very fucked child.

And I'm not saying that they'd be a psychopath or anything just yk, have some problems, like their father

oh yes i am a helicopter parent tim TRUTHER. actually my headcanon is a little bit more complicated when it comes to tim's parenting — when he just ends up with the baby, he's in such fucked up place mentally that part of his brain just kind off. shuts down, which would not be surprising considering everything he had to go through leading to this point in time, so his first instinct is to actually recreate something that he himself is familiar with as a child. which means that the first 6 or so months of his baby's life he was unintentionally mimicking his parents — only ever necessary touches, kind of estranged behavior because tbh he's just fucking terrified of what he's done, and then as a cherry on top leaving for a bruce quest, which is where things actually take a turn.

tim is surprised by how hard it is for him to actually be away from this child. because all his life he was watching his parents leave him again and again so to him, leaving always seemed like something easy until he actually was a parent himself and was forced to do the same thing. but now all he can think about aside from the mission is, does the baby eat well, do they get enough sleep, etc. he was bleeding out in a desert, so sure that he's definitely going to die this time, and his last thoughts before blacking out were about kon, and then about the baby. about how he wishes he could see them grow. about how he wishes that he was there. a paradigm shift basically.

and when he's back from bruce quest, that's when he's actually fully stepping into the role of a helicopter parent. tho it still takes some time to adjust and to reintroduce himself to the baby.

with that being said, the clone child is DEFINITELY going to get issues growing up. especially if they know their actual origin as a clone baby, like. imagine always asking yourself if your existence is even allowed, mix it up with tim being slightly insane overbearing overprotective parent with zero actual experience with both kids AND good parental figures and BOOM, daddy issues, separation anxiety, identity crisis etc etc.

the baby won't be doing all too well.

"Sounds like supervillain talk, dude," Kon says. Tim resolves to dial back on that at this point in his career. He's laying groundwork, yes, but subtlety is still the wiser course of action.

"You say that like you've never socialized with a supervillain before," he says dryly.

"Well, usually ones who wear a bit less," Kon replies, grinning wickedly at him.

"So you're telling me I should invest in a crop top before I try to take over the world and remake it in my own image?" Tim asks still more dryly as he raises an eyebrow at him with a little smirk, and Kon laughs and steps in a little closer, giving him a not very subtle up-and-down with his eyes.

"Only if you're trying to recruit me for your evil plans," he says, grin turning sharp. Tim wants to lick his teeth. "So I dunno, what are your feelings on Daisy Dukes?"

"I'm going to be honest, I'm not actually that much of an exhibitionist so at this point we're just describing my ideal costume updates for you," Tim informs him.

"Oh yeah?" Kon asks with another laugh even as he visibly preens at the suggestion. Tim is all for that, personally. Both the preening and the theoretical updates, in fact. And, a little more weirdly, just the idea of having anything to do with what Kon might ever decide to wear.

Yeah, that's probably a later thought, Tim decides. Like, a private-time kind of later thought.

"You're solar-powered, aren't you?" he says reasonably. "Showing a bit more skin can't hurt."

"I wonder if Superman would buy that excuse," Kon says musingly.

"Power Girl exists," Tim says still more reasonably. "And Supergirl wears a miniskirt, last I checked."

"Valid," Kon says, putting on a mock-thoughtful expression and tapping the side of his jaw. "Maybe I'll put in some cutouts and go for a lower neckline, tell the big guy he's making the rest of us look like prudes. What do you think, bikini or high-cut bottoms?"

"I don't know the difference," Tim lies, desperately trying not to overheat and die at that question and every single accompanying mental image that his useless brain has so helpfully decided to supply. "You'll have to provide examples."

"Will I now," Kon says, grinning all over again and pointedly cocking a hip. "What, pretty boy, you want a fashion show?"

"Well I did want to be a photographer when I was a kid," Tim says, although it was definitely never that kind of photography he had in mind. Kon laughs again and shifts in even closer, though, so it's worth it. Tim is mortified, but also undeniably into just . . . all of this, really, just everything about this conversation. Robin can't flirt with Superboy, but, well . . .

He's taking advantage a little, he can admit, but it's still just . . . nice.

He's wanted to flirt with Kon for way too long, at this point. Indulging in a little bit of it isn't the worst thing he could do.

And again, it's Kon, so it's not like it's serious or anything. The guy won't even remember this conversation tomorrow, much less anything about Tim Drake.

. . . admittedly that'd be counterproductive to Tim's long-term goals here, but still. He's willing to take his time on this. There's a plan. It has steps. Layers. Processes.

"I like you, man," Kon says with a wider grin, which is in absolutely no way whatsoever in the plan. "You're funny."

It occurs to Tim, almost disbelievingly, that he might've . . . made a good impression on Kon? Somehow?

Well that's weird.
