how fleeting the hope in a title like 'hero' is. the real hope, the lasting hope is found in the people you commit the heroic acts for.

Barry is flesh all the way. His need for perfection, the homunculus, even the one single perfect tree (that reminds me a little bit of Jared Hopworth's garden) all reads as very flesh to me. He's less of the meat is meat kind of flesh avatar and more of the body dysmorphia type.
