Strengthening your stabilizer muscles is so good for your bones and posture! It doesn't mean accidents don't happen, as we will all decay in time, but it definitely helps me draw all day and night without crumbling into dust 👌

I hate asking but I can’t draw due to chronic pain and my gfs last job literally made them develop asthma and we are very desperate right now. we’ve been surviving off of my gfs last paycheck and my savings and making it stretch but we just can’t anymore

we are two black disabled lesbians in a household of 6. we don’t have many groceries and our main priority is my little brother, my cat and my grandma. my gf is trying to get a job but is currently facing employment discrimination and is getting ghosted and rejected constantly. atm I’m STILL waiting to speak to a doctor because my chronic pain is making it to where I can’t stand or hold anything heavier than a drawing without significant difficulty.

usually I would offer commissions but I’m in too much pain to draw, I’m sorry. I just wanna be able to get some groceries

Why did Dazai put his hand on Chuuya's forearm?

because when someone's choking you, you grab their WRIST, to put the pressure from your throat, not their forearm. (wise words from this video. i actually did research for that. what's more is that at first Dazai did put his hand on Chuuya's wrist but changed it a panel later. he could've put it lower on the glove but he didn't do that and instead had it on his forearm until Chuuya punched him. also idc if he's not really choking Dazai bc even so for sb who hates pain this cannot be comfortable. also Chuuya why are you doing that if you don't wanna actually hurt him huh?).

and the way Dazai's touch can't even be called a grab bc it's so light... this man really just wanted to touch Chuuya's skin - otherwise he'd have gone for his wrist (which is gloved)...

and an additional thing that's probably me overanalyzing but oh well:

i know that in the 2nd pic, after their fight with Lovecraft, the touch was needed, but it's interesting how Dazai touches Chuuya at the very same place that he did in the PM's basements. let's say that's where he would touch him while nullifiying corruption most times. soo imagine that the Dazai from the PM prison scene touched Chuuya there - so lightly, as if checking if he can still do it - as a way of asking Chuuya if he still trusted him with corruption and their partnership. that touch holds memories of so many of the double black's battles and, most importantly, of the trust that used to be - and maybe still is, that's what Dazai's checking (and what will be confirmed during the fight with Lovecraft) - between them.

Headcanon that Ghost really liked mermaids when he was younger and would pretend to be one whenever he could. Like he has drawn what his tail would look like and everything.

Likes to watch those mermaid performances on his phone.

Joined a mermaid group as a helper but secretly really wants to get his own tail.

One of the makers is making Ghost one and he doesn’t know it yet.

tats you filled my brain with beautiful visions of simon "ghost" riley swimming in his mermaid tail and i was so distracted i forgot to post the reason for my thoughts!!!

my first thought for his mermaid tail was that it would be black BUT THEN i was visited by a beautiful vision of his tail being a navy blue so dark it only looks black BUT it is iridescent (can mermaid tails be iridescent?) and when the light catches it, it reflects light like an oil slick. hints of violet, green, blue all glimmer and shine in the dappled light of the pool.

god, the thought of simon paying extra attention to shy little boys who duck behind their parent's legs because that he would've wanted at their age. oh my heart!

one little lad asks about his scars and simon tells him it was from when he was a younger mermaid and he got caught in a storm and had an accident with a boat. the boy says something about sharks being scary and simon tells him that sharks aren't scary, they're very shy actually and tend to swim away because they want to be left alone. just because something looks scary it doesn't mean that they are. some people think simon is scary but he's just shy too.

The "Nom" action — A/B/O

When someone (Alpha/Omega/Beta) feels safe/feels a lot of affection for someone, while they're in a more instictually driven state, they may 'Nom'. This is where they gently nip/bite and hold the 'grip' to show their affection.

Betas:

Betas rarely go into a more instictually driven state, due to how they are, so they're more prone to the 'nom' instict

A Beta will 'nom' the wrist of whoever they feel comfortable with

This is due to the fact their Wrist-glands are very important and serve a more dominant function in them, compared to AO's

The longer the Beta holds the wrist, the more affection they have towards the person/the more comfortable they feel

Omegas:

Omegas 'nom' either in heat or during moments of pure relaxation

To 'nom' an Omega will first go to the person and see if they get affection

Then, they'll prepare to 'nom' by wrapping the target in an affectionate hold

Then, they grab the person's arm and 'nom' the forearm as a way to play

The more time the Omega takes to prepare their 'nom-attack' the more affection they feel/the more comfortable they are with the person

Alphas:

Alphas 'nom' during when they're deep in their instincts

First, the Alpha will paw at the person; pawing at the arm or shoulder they will attack

Then they'll lean in and gently 'nom' around the bicep or the shoulder

If an Alpha closes their eyes, that means they feel safe with the person — the longer their eyes stay shut, the more affection/trust they have
