I think you guys tend to think of lesbians in such a nasty, aggressive way, especially when it comes to men, and 9/10 you haven't even begun to unpack it. No critique we have of the patriarchy, of society, of men is taken as a legitimate grievance, everything is, "oh my god, you just hate boys. You just want to take our boyfriends away, hey what about the NICE boys" and it's so, so extremely isolating.

when my friends rave about my cooking to other people i have to explain im not a good cook in the sense a chef is a good cook. im a good cook in the sense ur grandma was a good cook. it’s gunna be homemade and taste distinctly like i made it and have lots of love. i was taught to cook by my mama telling me ingredients and to sniff the seasonings till i found what smelt right. nothings written down. no i don’t know how i made that. yes i can recreate it. no dont ask me what a bit means feel it in your heart or it wont work. no base recipe i find is going to be cooked the way it was written. and most of all its gunna be good
