Hey everyone. I wanted to speak about this post. Something about it felt off to me when I read it coming from a Ghazzawi. To me it seemed to be written by a long-time white liberal tumblr user - it had the distinct tumblr white person vernacular -, and when I asked her in the comments surely enough she confirmed to me someone wrote the post and asked her to post it. When I asked her, she didn't even know it was about American politics, she thought it was just about TikTok.

A tumblr user tricked a Ghazzawi genocide survivor into being their political mouthpiece without her even knowing the actual subject matter of the post.

I don't care to expose or find out who they are even, because that's not the point of the post. Regardless of whether you agree with the intended message of the post, we can all agree that it is extremely fucking disgusting to try and trick someone this vulnerable - the survivor of an ongoing genocide - to grant your own personal political opinions more credence and legitimacy. I can't fathom the level of disgust I feel right now. Don't fucking do this. I can't believe I have to say this but DON'T. FUCKING. DO THIS. Absolutely fucking shameful.

I have already made it clear to the Ghazzawis following me not to let this happen. So for you Westerners, if someone asks you to translate for them, that's okay, if someone asks you to write a post for and about them from your own blog, that's okay, but if you write a post and try to trick a Palestinian to pass off your words as their own, that is UNACCEPTABLE.

I am so so happy that our friend marah @mahrahpalestine and her family were able to survive the ethnic cleaning campaign in Palestine! Now we can be more at ease and focus on helping our friends continue to survive and rebuild their lives.

Time Sensitive: 10 Days to Raise Goal!

As you may know, the most powerful country has acknowledged the genocide in Sudan after 20 months of displacement, famine, and violence. It has sanctioned Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, also known as Hemedti, who is the general leading the RSF (a paramilitary backed by the UAE), and Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the general for the Sudanese Armed Forced that is backed by Sudan's High Council!

But no ceasefire has been declared as of yet.

So we need do our due diligence and help. Please consider donating to my friend Randa (@rnd8). She lives in Rwanda and she is raising funds to evacuate her family since January of last year. Thankfully, her elderly father and 3 sisters have evacuated and reunited with her, but her 2 brothers are left behind in Khartoum to this day! Their lives are at high risk. They can be put in arbitrary detention or accused of espionage by the RSF and the SAF!

So let's reach the end of the goal by January 31st! We have 10 days to do so! €30,600 has been raised. There is €4,400 left to go! You can match me! I have given €10, but you're more than welcome to give any amount!

Amina is a 28 year old mother of three: Nasser (8), Bara (4) and Adam (2). She’s fundraising in hopes of saving her children from this genocide and getting the money to feed them and give them a safe future. They’ve already been displaced five times and are struggling very badly to find food and water and everything they need to survive, and even when they find it it’s extremely expensive. It’s every parents worst nightmare to see their children suffering but not have the means to give them food and get them to safety. These children deserve to live healthy and safe, not have to hear the sounds of bombs every day. Amina is not asking for much, only whatever you can give to save her children. If you have any money to give today, please consider helping Amina or at least share this post so it can reach people who will. hi beloveds i need to get my pain medications bc i only have a few doses left + my fiance needs to get their meds refilled + our fucking ac broke so we need to get a portable unit til the because its gonna get to 28-39° celcius over the next weekish (~82-102° farenheit) and we're both chronically ill and disabled with abysmal heat tolerance. its been a whole fucking ordeal but nevertheless we persist. anyways any assistance and rbs at all are very very appreciated and i hope you all are having a lovely new year so far. mwah.
