I recently noticed that all of the arcs' penultimate books had really emotionally resonant endings. For good reason, because we needed a reason to care about finishing the arc.

WHY KINKAJOU DIDNT GET A POV - A RANT

WoF spoilers obviously

We all love her, that's a fact. She's amazing in every way and she's part of the Jade Winglet. But why didn't she get her own book in the second arc?

Shes a super important character throughout the books and gets a ton of "screen time". She is abducted by nightwings and is the real reason the rainwings start investigating (with Glory). She helps Moon through her character development in book 6 by forgiving her.

Kinkajou does so much through the books so why doesn't she get a book?

My reasoning is that she is content where she is and doesn't need more development.

Kinkajou is happy! She's overcoming her trauma already by the time book 6 starts.

Kinkajou has friends, a loving queen, and an amazing school. She's also a child, learning how to read and growing up.

This WILDLY differs from the character development for the rest of the arc 2 characters:

Moon - gaining confidence, trusting herself, learning her powers aren't a curse

Winter - oh boy Winter he has a lot. Generational trauma, cutting out family that have hurt him, loving himself, taking control of his life

Peril (my fav character btw) - loving herself, getting out of toxic relationships, self discovery, finding her place in the sky kingdom (the scene with Ruby at the end made my heart melt)

Turtle - self confidence, speaking up for himself, learning that he is usefull despite what people have told him all his life

Qibli - learning he can be amazing without magic, saving the world his own way, found family, people are allowed to love him

Plus Kinkajou gets her moment to shine even though it's not in her POV. She's the smartest one and beats Darkstalker. She befriends Hope and helps her live in the rainforest.

I would have loved to see a book from her but it honestly wasn't necessary for her development or the plot.

since ive been wofposting alot i thought i should post my wof deepseaship designs i made a little while ago

if i drew them again now id. probably change a few things again...especially shadows. i dont really like how hers looks? could use a few tweaks(maybe ill make nightwings look a bit like nightfuries.....LOL)

their whole thing takes place during the times that the nightwings were kidnapping the rainwings, uh i have not read the books in a while and i dont have very good memory so apologies if some of the info here is incorrect lol

shadow is a blood moon nightwing, um, i am not sure how. im pretty sure i had a reason but i dont really remember. im pretty sure he is like fatespeaker, their powers are really faint. im not sure which powers i decided to pick for them ..they were a mindreader at first but im starting to think a prophet would be horribl- i mean great for them. though i think the 'projecting thoughts to other dragons' idea is real fun and could be interesting with dulled powers like shadow has. well see lol riptide is a rain/sea hybrid, but he got the Sunny Treatment and looks more rainwing. hes from royalty Somehow, so his wings have the royal seawing patterns on them but everyone thinks its just some cool weird pattern. i also imagine rainwings have frills on their head/neck like seawings but not nearly as big (its more in the ears for rainwings), but his is. well. like his hair maybe he does not have venom, im not sure, he can breathe underwater longer than most rainwings tho

i called riptide in this au "rainfall" because riptide is already a canon character, i want to pick a name for shadow as well but ive been stuck on it for a while lol i had one picked but i dont like it so

aanyway long story short, shadow meets rainfall in the rainforest, they fall in love, forbidden love angst happens, shadow is forced to kidnap rainfall to save himself after getting caught, The Horrors happen, and then the rainwings all get rescued including rainfall and they reuinite and happily ever after not realy though because they need to sort out, yknow, the fact shadow did that to him, but,

well they end up together again anyway because its me.

they also have individual backstories as well but i dont feel like getting into that rn, its basically their normal backstories in canon but wof-ified

Drawing Random WoF Characters - Sunny

Spoilers for arcs 1 & 2!

Sunny is an unusually small and golden nightwing/sandwing hybrid with a bubbly and optimistic personality. She is often the glue of the DoD, keeping everyone together when nobody else can agree. She is the daughter of Queen Thorn of the Sandwings and Stonemover, the nightwing animus trapped within Jade Mountain. She is a descendant of Without and Thoughtful. Sunny is the protagonist of book 5, The Brightest Night. After helping stop the War of Sandwing Succession, she went on to become one of the Founders of Jade Mountain Academy, where she currently resides.

Some fun facts: Thorn originally planned to name Sunny 'Beetle,' and continued to call her this in her head until meeting Sunny. Sunny was named after Tui's dig, Sunshine, and Tui considers sunny too be the most like her.

This drawing is from september of '23. it was pretty fun, although i wish i had taken more risks with her design. I do like the pose I chose though, I think it shows off her playful energy well. As always, process videos of these drawings are on my tiktok! it's also a bit ahead there too.

peacemaker is temporary and heres why

spoilers for all of arc 2 of wings of fire

Peacemaker exists because of enchantment similar to pyrite and ruby. and also the enchantment on peril. There is evidence in all three of these enchantments to show how peacemaker doesn't work

I will now list the evidence

.1 pyrite

One of the enchantments on hailstorm while he was pyrite was to forget their past self

But when pyrite slept near icewings she would have dreams of snow

This shows hailstorm subconsciously remembers the ice kingdom as pyrite

.2 ruby

Tourmaline was enchanted to be ruby and also to be weak and unable/unwilling to take the throne

After scarlet was dethroned, she took the throne

When scarlet came to try and take the throne back ruby stood up to her and challenged for the throne

This should not be possible due to the enchantments

.3 the enchantment on peril

Peril was enchanted to no longer have firescales, forget clay completely, and be loyal to scarlet

Later she claims to be more loyal to chameleon than she is to scarlet and then she remembers clay

She was not supposed to be able to do either thing

Conclusion

Based on evidence enchantments that are specifically ment to change a dragons mentality, a dragons ability to do something, or who a dragon is loyal to seems to be impermanent as dragons appear to be able to overcome it

So back to peacemaker

He is enchanted to forget Darkstalker and be a completely different dragon and also lose his powers

But evidence of past enchantments leads me to believe this will change

Peacemaker could remember all of Darkstalker's memorys and in the worst case get his powers back in some way

However he will remain looking like peacemaker because in the evidence shown in the other dragons appearance doesn't change unless the enchanted item is removed

THIS BOY SHOULD HAVE NOT RECOVERED THAT EASILY. Not to mention his throat's insides b u r n t to a crisp. Just from a food burn a person takes a few days to recover and feel relief in their throat. Jotaro's throat got BURNED inside and out. He can't have talked and ate that easily after that incident and I will die on the hill that jotaro's wounds still severely affect during and after sdc. I just believe that an episode to show Jotaro healing like something as simple as jotaro not talking as much as his throat got burnt really itches me.

not mention Jotaro's love to excessively bleed and hack up blood from his mouth, see exhibit 2:

(ok ^^^ this one looks worse because of the blood already in his shoulder, which i noticed gets hurt a lot aswell. And a gash that deep would cause shoulder pains, a large patchy scar and skin tissue)

ouch! people do love hurting jotaro's shoulder

sorry for the weird shot, but here's another shoulder wound for good measure. Jotaro here will get a scar similar to ones like a laceration scar around his shoulder, this may be more visible and straight, looking at how deep Anubis Polnareff hit it

oh and mouth bleeding in the same episode wow! get some rest tall child!

Talking about mouth bleeding, since Anubis Chariot got to stab Jotaro but that stab was most definitely deeper than it looks. Probably scraped his intestine or smth. And a bandage definitely won't work this time Polpol. The scar here, from what I have seen and researched (little), the scar could become patchy and uneven around that area, it could be lighter in the middle and darker patchy scars surrounding it.

Ok!!! Now the final battle with DIO. a lot of stuff to work with here again (I hate you tumblr for crashing on me and making me lose my work)

even with the books, he got multiple stab wounds to the chest, and enough to make him bleed. Per the usual scars, but it might be fainter since the books took some damage aswell.

he also got a knife to the head, yes he had protection but hard enough to bleed. Did I mention the stand barrages and multiple broken bones that may had to take weeks or more to heal?

This TEENAGER survived multiple crashes into buildings, roads, signs AND run over and you're telling me he won't have any problems regarding physical health as well? This will require lots of rest and casts during the stages of healing. Not to mention the sever bruises just from this fight. Those bruises will probably take a few days or more to fully go away but it will still be sore and sensitive after that stage of healing.

Oh yea, he s t o p s h i s h e a r t. Do you know how much damage that is?

We can see his eyes losing color, we can see how aggressively he stops his heart and pumps it again. Doing all of that in that small timeframe should cause many problems, and i'm not that smart to name all of it but brain damage is probably one of them ngl. His heart here could be, and is most likely, really damaged and sensitive. This could lead him to having some fatigue and some level of brain damage considering the immediate and drop and lack of blood flow to his brain. There's a chance that an occurrence of light headedness could happen because of brain shenanigans.

Yayayy, let's go to part 4 now! My favorite town that Araki may have lived in, Morioh!

SPOILERS NOW FOR PART 4 AND 6

For a while there are some minor injuries, just cuts on his face and other than that we got the muscle goop jotaro but Josuke healed him all up along with jotaro who had a thousand holes through him.

AND CRASHED INTO WOOD. I know josuke healed it and all but damn! That must've hurt.

THIS MAN COULDN'T EVEN STAND AFTER THAT AND KIRA SAID IT HIMSELF. HE CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH JOTARO'S WOUNDS.

That's it for the most part for 4taro though, so we are moving the Stone Ocean!

most wounds he sustained during that part were bruises and the gunshots he got in the prisoners of love eps. But!! The Whitesnake acid is interesting because I don't think it behaves like normal acid (in which case we would've seen some pretty disturbing wounds 😬) but i'm curious if it would leave wounds, and if so, what type? We know it kills people and IS acidic so...

We also got the "JOLYNE" wound! which would leave a lighter versions of the cuts most likely in the shape of cut :), nice way to remember your daughter and feel close to her. How do I know it will end up like that? I have a knife cut myself :]

yayyyy we throat wound. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT JOTARO COULD TALK THAT CLEARLY. Joot's throat and larynx would be ATLEAST dAMAGEDD and so would his voice. He's scar would also be lighter in color to his skin and wouldn't be as smooth, might stick out a bit in some cases.

oH, AND he's bleeding from the mouth now.

and now...the faithful attack that killed jotaro

..the eye split.. now since he's...yea kinda dead..we won't really have a scar for this one. But fret not! We have everyone survived aus so this includes stone ocean. Of course the right eye will go blind and there will be scarring on the face, it may actually not be a straighter line down Jotaro's face because as it heals, some parts are gonna heal better and will lead to unevenness maybe.

anyways im still so so sorry this came late. If you want I could provide drawing for you guys the scars for each of the wounds, I wouldn't mind :]

Finished reading the Wings of Fire guide book! Gonna give some overall thoughts.

I went in knowing it was going to be a lot of information we already knew with a few new story’s here and there. So I wasn’t personally disappointed as others were. Pretty much all of the old information was expanded upon enough for it to still be interesting, however the new information is the absolute highlight of the guide.

For the most part, each section is roughly the same in quality. Thankfully, that quality was quite high. I’d rather read the main books ofc, but the guide is still good. However, there were a few weaker moments. The Sandwing section started out strong, but fell off by the end and the Rainwing section was pretty dull overall. I also wish there was less of a focus on the lives of royal dragons and more on the lives of the commoners. The Seawing section particularly suffers from this. Not that there weren’t good stories in there focused on royalty, the Mudwing section has a great one at the end, for instance.

The art is phenomenal. It’s absolute eye candy, even the small drawings in some of the stories are super cute. Id recommend going to look at some of the art even if you have no interest in the book itself.

Overall, I’d say that the guidebook is a stronger whole then the sum of it parts, but a high recommendation if you’re a WoF fan. If number ratings mean anything to you, then it’s a solid 7/10.

Under the read more is some specific details that I thought was interesting. Quite a few spoilers in there so be warned.

- Sepia is funny definitely a new favourite

- the Mudwing succession story was really good. I liked the expansion of Mudwing royalty it presented and It had a nice twist at the end

- Queen Coral sections are surprisingly funny, I loved reading the blurbs of her stories gave me a good chuckle

- the font used in Fin’s letter (as well as Fierceteeth’s later on in the book) was super hard to read for me. That’s probably because I read a scan on my phone screen, so I’ll see how it looks in the actual book

- Kinkajou’s story was, interesting. Makes me happy we didn’t get a book about her in arc 2, I cannot imagine myself still liking Kinkajou if we did tbh

- honestly the Rainwing section as a whole was pretty lacking for me. Really only the last bit with Queen Jackranda got me intrigued but not as much as other stories in other sections

- Mastermind interview was neat, but could of been better

- Despite being a hassle to read, the Fierceteeth letter was really cool. I hope we see more of the small village they’ve set up in future material

- Getting some more information on Burn’s weirdling collection was pretty neat. I like the confirmation that the wing seen there was a Silkwing’s. It’s pretty intriguing how just the wing washed up to shore, I would of thought it’d be parallel to how Luna arrived. But instead of being helped, this unfortunate Silkwing would of be murdered

- Unfortunately over half of the Sandwing section was taken up by Smolder’s diary of taking care of Flower, which I wasn’t interested in at all and only read the first bit before skipping. Shame cause the Sandwing section was shaping up to be my favourite part of the book

- Mink’s letter was cute

- Was expecting the Icewing section to only focus on royalty like the Seawing or Sandwing sections, but Caribou’s letter was a pleasant surprise

- Super cool how there’s an actual Skywing anthem that you can play. I’m not really a musician or anything of the sort, and I did admittedly skim through it, but still very cool

- Skywing section should of been renamed the Queen Scarlet section. Tailwind’s story was great and a real highlight of the guide, might even my favourite story

- I wish less of the Silkwing section was about the rules that Silkwings follow. I would of preferred more parts akin to the Queen Monarch message

- I wonder if the honey drop recipe is good, I’d try it myself but I don’t think I have the ingredients for it

- The list of the Hives was neat, it’s nice to have a little paragraph of information on each of them

- Book of Clearsight excerpts was cute, I could see a small book just detailing more of the future reading

- Leafwing’s detailing their favourite books was charming

- I’ve realised I don’t really have much to say about the Pantalian sections. They aren’t bad at all, I’m just not as invested in them

- Very happy the Scavenger section was so small. I don’t think I could of forced myself through that

- Favourite section was the Skywings, least favourite was Rainwings

Im currently listening to book 2 and it's so confusing how Anemone is so cute in this book. It been ages since I've reread the first arc so i sort of forgot about this. But it absolutely annoys me how sweet and cute she is (despite the murder at the end but that was justified imo)

but she totally changes between this and when she goes to Jade Mounitan. I hate her bc of physically abusing Moon, Kinkajou and Turtle with her magic and defending it later. I also hate her for offering to "fix" Tamarin's blindness. This is INSANE. She is totally different, very ableist and abusive. She's awful to her family and friends her "redemption arc" is completely thrown away AUGHH I hate her sm. It's annoying that her design is so cute too 😭

Anyway I'm just distracted while listening because of this.

I've got my idea for each arc in the swapped WoF continent au mostly figured out now!

Also warning for spoilers since I use the same events as in the book for this.

Arc 1:

Takes place on Pantala. Leafwings are not at war and trees are not illegal but Hivewings still rule over the Silkwings and have uneasy alliance with the Leafwings. Queen Wasp has died and left everyone unsure of who will take over her hive/being the main Hivewing queen. Every Lady or at least a few of them (I imagine 3) who are interested are now at war and split the hives. Some side with Leafwings, Some force Silkwings to fight, and Some only have Hivewings but many of them. The book keeper declares there is a prophecy in Clearsight's book about ending this war.

(I'm not yet sure how the prophecy goes)

But it says that 2 Hivewings, 2 Silkwings, and 1 Leafwing will end it in 20 years.

And now like the normal plot the eggs are gathered, something goes wrong with getting 2 Hivewing eggs and it is replaced by another Leafwing egg instead.

The dragonets are

Clay - Leafwing

A very strong looking Leafwing, hatched first so was decided to be the Leafwing they wanted. Has no abilities but is believed to be feirce and dangerous due to Hivewing propaganda. He just wants peace and to be friendly.

Tsunami - Silkwing

They think she acts out because of not being properly raised by Silkwings under Hivewing rule and she probably wants to prove Silkwings are good leaders for prophecys and stuff. Related to either Queen Monarch or whoever the last Silkwing royalty was and is therefore the heir to the Silkwing throne which no longer exists. She does get her wings before they escape and was excited about it.

Glory - Leafwing

Glory has leafspeak instead of venom but no one thinks either she or Clay has it. They do probably treat her a bit better but she's still counted as an extra for hatching later and therefore is unwanted.

Starflight - Hivewing

The Hivewings want him to be the leader of the group. He has no extra natural weapons.

Sunny - An unusual looking Silkwing

Is a Silkwing with no antenna and some strange looking features. Considered the good Silkwing of the group for behaving but she is still very overlooked because of it. Can't wait to get her wings any day now. She is a Silk/Hive hybrid (Mother Silkwing and Father Hivewing) When she gets her wings later after they escape she has very unusual wings and she might also get some black scales during her metamorphosis.

At the end the prophecy is discovered to be a fake made up by 1 of the Hivewing Ladies in order to get the throne and rule over all 3 tribes, but it is still sort of fulfilled.

Arc 2: (Needs some work)

Takes place in Pantala. There is a school for all 3 tribes and Silkwings have their own tribe and queen again (Ruled by Sunny's mother.) Darkstalker who is a Beetlewing animus is awoken. He can somehow talk to Moon (unsure how)

Moon comes across Clearsight's book somehow and finds a real prophecy written in it.

Moon - Hivewing

Somehow able to talk to Darkstalker, can't hear thoughts however. (Unsure how else to make her unique)

Winter - Leafwing

Doesn't have leafspeak, part of the royal family.

Peril - Silkwing

She's a flamesilk. Hivewings tried to use her to produce it and she became useful as a war machine as well.

Turtle - Silkwing

Still an animus. Also part of the forgotten original Silkwing royalty same as his sister Anemone.

Qibli - Hivewing

Has extra natural weapons mostly for paralyzing. Very loyal to the new Silkwing queen who took him in when he was little.

In the end they defeat Darkstalker, they also prevent the Hivewings and Leafwings from going to war again.

Arc 3: (Needs work)

Takes place on Pyrrhia. One of the tribes has taken over several of the others or is at war with them.

Blue - Nightwing

Born under 1 moon. Can see the future. Gets visions and doesn't know what to do about it. Delivers the 3rd prophecy.

Cricket - Icewing

(Wanted to keep up the forbidden romance with her and Blue, also thought Icewing would be more interesting than Sandwing or any other dragon type that made sense for her) Not much else to say.

Sundew - Skywing

Might have firescales (Was unsure whether or not to give them to her) . Is part of a small group who spilt from the main Skywing kingdom.

Snowfall - Leafwing

Leafwing queen after what happens with Darkstalker.

Luna - Nightwing

Born under 1 moon with Blue. Can read minds. She ends up using this power to show Freedom the visions.

They end up reuniting the tribes and stopping the breath of evil which is on Pyrrhia now.

And that concludes what I have so far for this au, I'm almost done with the drawings for the 1st arc characters too. Let me know what you think :3

Okay so spoilers for 9 obviously and sort of for wings of fire as well, this is going to be real stream of consciousness so bear with me but ough. lizords.

The au is set about two thousand years after the end of wof arc three, and despite what was implied Jerboa III's spell has led to no new animus dragons being born. As it stands though this has been largely inconsequential. Humans and dragons now (mostly) view each other as equals, and live in mixed communities working together. It's a period of growth for both species. 

One human (Julius) becomes fascinated by the advancements that were achieved in the era of animus dragons, and sets out to see if it's possible to bring the magic back. Through a combination of genetic engineering and more occult methods, a new artificial animus is brought into the world, and its potential is immediately obvious. This potential is unfortunately recognized by the wrong people, and the newborn Being is separated from its creator. At the same time the new lifeform was being developed, one of the continent's many conflicts had begun boiling over into full-blown war, and the Being is quickly viewed as a weapon. The predictable mistreatment leads to it growing a hatred for both humans and dragons, and also rapidly increases its size. It doesn't take long for it to turn against its captors, and a war that was originally bureaucratic in origin is now for survival against an onslaught of war machines.Casualties are very high, and while many dragons and humans are able to escape south to Pantala or in some cases the Sea kingdom, many more are lost in the chaos. Julius, who feels responsible for the ongoing carnage, manages to obtain the help of nine dragons who for varying reasons are willing to try anything that could help. They offer up their bodies as conduits for the next step, while Julius places a piece of his own consciousness into each. 

From this point the plot is much the same as the movie, with 9 awakening some time later than the others and discovering the talisman. He is found by 2, both are attacked by the (much larger) Cat Beast, and 2 is taken along with the talisman. An injured 9 is carried to the sheltered ruin of Sanctuary* by 5, meeting 1 and 8 and learning more about the reasons for the devastation around them. 9, unwilling to give up on 2, convinces 5 to join him in attempting a rescue, and they fly in the direction 9 saw the Beast take him. Arriving at the derelict Factory built into a mountain, they both reunite with 2 before the Cat Beast attacks them. Cornered by the Beast the trio are suddenly joined by 7, who kills the Cat. While the other three are reconnecting, 9’s curiosity gets the better of him, and he accidentally reawakens the dormant Being. Sensing remnants of its creator, it strips 2's soul from his body, and the other three flee before it can do the same to them. 7 leads 5 and 9 to the Library where the twins 3 and 4 meet them. Here they learn more about the destruction around them, and when 9 and 5 prepare to head back to Sanctuary 7 refuses to join them, while the Twins remain at the library to research.

After they return and are chastised by 1, 9 meets 6, who proves to have knowledge on the talisman and the group’s “Source”. 9 confronts 1 on his cowardice, but their argument is interrupted when the massive Winged Beast attacks. In the chaos the fragile ruins begin to collapse and burn, and it’s a struggle to escape both the monster and the failing walls. The beast is killed, but not before wounding 7 and destroying Sanctuary. The group all retreat to the Library, where 3 and 4 reveal what they’ve discovered, and 1 blurts out that she did in fact send 2 out to scout in the hopes that he would be killed. An enraged 7 attacks 1, but retreats in anguish when 9 intervenes. At the same time this is happening, 8, who had been sent out to keep watch for further monsters (and took the opportunity to smoke) is attacked and paralyzed by the newest horror, the Seamstress, with 2’s body fused to its tail. A frustrated 1 who had walked off alone is also attacked and envenomated, his yell alerting the others. 7 rejoins the ensuing fight, 1 is freed from her bindings, and 2’s body is cut loose from the creature. Despite both 5 and 9 managing to wound it, the Seamstress takes off with 8 and 7. Distressingly, before 9 convinces the others to mount a rescue, it is found that 2’s body still has a heartbeat.

After destroying several Seekers and making it to the now-active Factory, 9 heads in alone while 1, the twins, 5 and 6 look for a way to destroy the building and the Being inside. While inside 9 is forced to watch as 8’s soul is removed, before he tricks and kills the Seamstress, and escapes with 7 as the Being notices them. 5 and the others, having rigged explosives upon the Factory’s dam, begin igniting them as soon as they see the two fleeing, destroying the fortress in a wall of water. Rejoicing at finally defeating the threat, the group takes a breather at a bend in the river. 5, while washing his hands on the bank, sees that the Being is still alive and heading for them. He manages to alert the others before he is caught and claimed in front of the other six. In their race to gain altitude and escape, 6 sees that 5 is still breathing, realizing that their souls are being taken but not destroyed. As he is attempting to make this known, he is also taken. A distraught 9 tries to convince the remaining four to join him in looking for a way to save the others, but ends up heading out on his own.

Returning to the “first room” where he awoke, 9 finds the remains of Julius, notes on theirs and the Being’s creation, and a message for him specifically from both Julius and the dragon who gave up their body for him, Noonday. In a hidden room he also discovers a huge cache of eggs, over a hundred, all in stasis. With these revelations 9 races to the others, finding them trying and failing to kill the Being. As it draws closer and the group retreats to a sheltered tunnel, 9 makes the decision to sacrifice himself so the others may have a chance to survive and remove the talisman. Before he can do that though they are attacked and driven from the hideaway by the now-injured Being’s fury. Leftover ordinances explode around them, and they are separated and injured as the Being bears down on them. 9 prepares to give up his soul, but before he can, 1 takes his place and is claimed. With only moments to spare 9 removes the talisman, and the Being is killed. 7 and the twins rush to an unconscious 9's side, and when he comes to they embrace him. They then retrieve the bodies of 1, 6, 5, 8, and 2, in the hopes of reviving them, though 9 admits it may just as likely be for burial. All five are still breathing, though they also all have injuries, some serious. Using the talisman, 9 reintegrates each one's soul into their body in a bright flash of green, and they reawaken. After an emotional reunion and tending to the most major injuries, 9 and the others incinerate the body of the Being, its cremation releasing its contained energy and revitalizing the damaged landscape (and inadvertently bringing animus magic back into the world).

Oh god i wrote too much lmao ANYWAYS from there it's all about healing and starting anew and maybe falling in love along the way. One for-sure project of theirs is reaching out to the survivors they know must exist (and dealing with a steadily growing gaggle of dragonets in the process). Everything after the main story is entirely self-indulgent, but I think since many other 9 enjoyers wished for a happier ending at least a little bit it’ll be enjoyable for people other than me lol. Will post my designs for the gang tomorrow, and also my interpretations of the two continents since those maps have always made the geology nerd in me mad lol (though i don't have solid designs for fabby or the beasts yet mostly just cause i want to make sure they're distinct from @astrogriffin 's awesome takes)
