2003 teen titans really did a good job at depicting deathstroke’s ruthless and pedophilic behavior to a younger audience because I remember feeling unnerved whenever slade appeared on screen as a kid, but never really understanding why I felt that way?

like how in the season 1 finale, when he blackmails robin into being his apprentice, there was a point when slade told robin to call him master? like that is so incredibly creepy. not to mention he kept comparing himself to robin and manipulating him into thinking they were similar to one another, when the truth is, robin had traits that were similar to BATMAN BECAUSE THAT’S HIS DAD!!! also, speaking of dads, slade says something along the lines of becoming a father figure for dick, to which he responds with, “I already have a father” AND IT CUTS TO A SCENE OF BATS FLYING OUT?? chills down my spine. but then making robin steal from WAYNE ENTERPRISES on his next mission?? I’m guessing the in-universe explanation for this is purely a coincidence, since slade most likely didn’t know about robin’s relationship to bruce wayne, but the writers really cooked with this part

dick looked suuuper upset when he came face to face with the device that he was supposed to steal and even took the opportunity to run off when the titans arrived. can you imagine bruce’s reaction to finding out one of his offices got broken into and seeing his son on the security footage IN A SLADE UNIFORM? I want to be a fly on the wall when dick lays out his explanation to bruce, because there is no way in hell batman didn’t hunt deathstroke down almost immediately after

Danny was practicing shapeshifting with Amorpho when he felt the tug of a summoning and heard the distant words drifting into his mind.

Normally Danny would just ignore it. Or if it seems like this was a group that needed some sense scared into them, he'd shift into his Horror form and terrify them into never pulling this shit again. But then he heard them mention live sacrifices, and Danny just had to step in before that happened. So he let the summoning pull him on through, briefly forgetting he was shapeshifted into a... less than ideal form.

Danny lands in the circle right on top of one of the intended sacrifices, a group of people in weird outfits and, is that guy green? Irrelevant. Immediately Danny on knows something is very wrong. His powers feel muted and far away. His form suddenly feels, locked somehow.

He casts his gaze across the summoning circle and, to his horror, recognizes the binding ritual. These cultists wanted to bind and seal him in one of these mortal's bodies after they were sacrificed. But they fucked up the spell. Or maybe Danny fucked it up by coming in too soon? Irrelevant again.

What matters is the spell went sideways. Instead of locking Danny into one of the sacrifice's bodies, it locked him into his own form while pulling most of his abilities just out of reach. Now he's here. In the shape of- He's stuck as-

Here’s a fun idea I’ve always had: Teen Titans Junior High.

On January 10, 2004, the Teen Titans episode titled "How Long is Forever?" first premiered. In that episode, Starfire is transported 20 years into a twisted future where the Titans have all separated because she disappeared.

Since the episode aired 20 years ago, that would mean that today is the day she came back.
