8th House in Astrology rules over everything that is the considered to be the challenging parts of life. It has positive connotations in a way that through these challenges we find our brightest light. The lessons in the 8th house present themselves through our connections with other people, whether its physically, mentally, emotionally or even spiritually. Because through our connection with others we learn about life. 8th house is also connected with debts, other people's resources, being involved in drama, but that's a topic for a different day. Let's see how you can use your 8th house to navigate your challenging lessons, so that the outcome is positive and growth oriented.

The signs and their rulers: Don't use Uranus, Neptune and Pluto as rulers of any signs. Firstly it lack proper credits, and second it's just not it (found after 1700s). We rather rely on the Traditional Astrology that has been around for millenias (since about 2nd Century CE). It just makes so much more sense (I'm going to make a long detailed post about this).

Beware of gossip or spreading misinformation, and also consuming information that is unverified or unconfirmed, since you are much more prone to issues with miscommunication. Seek journaling or writing as it can help you regulate all those thoughts in a better way. And don't hold yourself back from speaking up.

If you have your ruler of the 8H in the 4H, you have this sense of privacy that you seek to protect at all costs. The issues you regularly struggle with have to do with being vulnerable and not being able to open up, or opening up too much with anyone. There could be issues with the home and family life, perhaps there are people constantly prying over your personal life or violating your boundaries, or some of your family members being a pain in the butt. So seek healthy forms of communication, expression, etc. Try to learn the healthy patters of being in relationships and don't hold onto people that stall you from moving forward. Easier said than done, but even being aware of yourself helps a ton!

If you have the ruler of your 8H in 8H, you might go through a lot of shitty situations, but you are tough af. This is actually a pretty good aspect because your challenges don't leak to other areas of your life. The only area it affects, ie, the 8H, is about getting involved in other people's lives deeply, psychology and the occult. So you may resort to things like shadow work, alternative healing, etc, to help you transmute all this shadow into light. With this aspect you need to make sure that you don't make 'healing' your entire identity or make your pain your identity, especially if you have a major planetary ruler such as Sun or Moon. You are here to learn about the deeper parts of life, and that is not always dark and shadowy. Sometimes the lessons you learn from other people can be your most motivating teachers in life. So, take it easy. It happens for you, not to you.

If you have the ruler of your 8H in the 9H, you are here to literally find the light at the end of the tunnel. If the 8H is about the shadow, 9H is about the light. Your lessons give you a really big opportunity to go towards the brighter side of things. And at the same time these lessons are very much ingrained with becoming more open minded with life, being interested in learning about life on a higher level such as philosophy or self development. On the other hand, these challenges can also be related with foreign travel, other cultures, higher education, global media platforms, philosophy, etc, so make sure you tackle these accordingly. You struggle more with letting go and getting "lucky" in life because you tend to get comfortable in the uncomfortable side of life. Seek to expand beyond your challenges, and resolve painful situations by connecting with your spiritual/religious side.

If you have the ruler of your 8H in the 10H, you biggest challenges steams from your career and public reputation. You tend to be a bit more secretive about your life when out in public, or simply view others as prying on your private life. People might become manipulative with you when it comes to your career and you might be prone to people spreading batshit about you all the time. There are a lot of ways these events can be tackled, but one of the advice is to not let others know information about your work or achievements unless they are someone you trust A LOT. People can use you to gain some type of fame or take credit for things they didn't even do. You publicly go through tough things, whether that 'public' is just relatives or a few friends/acquaintances. People always get to know about your challenges and lessons for some reason. So, be careful of how much you let random people know.

If you have the ruler of your 8H in the 11H, you experience a bit of similar situation as the ones who has their ruler in the 10H, but the difference is, people use your issues to propel themselves forward in some way or the other. For the 10H persons, people only spread rumors about them and talk about their issues. But for you, people use it to their advantage. You might have a bit of challenge with making genuine connections with others, as in networking and socializing (not personal relationships). These people can use you to advance their career, use and exploit your ideas and work to give themselves a boost. And you might also struggle with creating long term plans and holding your visions. So the advice for the manipulative people part is that hold on until you actually know that someone is trustworthy. And even then, don't tell them everything about your plans and your dreams. 11H or not, some people are very quick to take advantage of our dreams.

If you have the ruler of your 8H in 12H, first of all I want to do is give you a big hug! *sending a virtual hug*. The reason I say this is because both these houses have a reputation for bringing a lot of intense and transformative situations in a person's life in a variety of ways, but not everyone is able to instantly identity these toxic patterns and help themselves get out of it. With this placement your biggest challenges have a deeply rooted karmic hint to them. And almost all the time, it requires for you to understand what that karma is and end that cycle so that you can grow. Based on the planetary ruler in the 12H your situation can be the most intense to least intense, but what is asks for you is to identity the subconscious/subliminal patterns that keep you stuck in life, and transmute them into healing. Take it easy, don't make 'healing' your entire identity. Focus on grounding and your well-being, first and foremost.

preface: this is my first time doing this, these are all either my personal placements or I've had multiple experiences with a certain placement. none of this is absolute, pretty pls take it with a grain of salt, these are very general. Every single one of these placements depend on aspects in an individuals chart. WARNING: some 18+ topics. Enjoy :)

Mercury in the 8th house: naturally good at reading people, interested in psychology, religion, spirituality, astrology. chronic over thinkers + intrusive thoughts galore. could either really enjoy giving/ receiving head and/or dirty talk, reading smut.

Pisces Mars: sweethearts on the surface, usually soft-spoken or doesn’t talk much, spends more time observing or making up scenarios. also another overthinking placement. could also be someone who does drugs/ drinks alcohol. excels in the entertainment industries (film, theatre, music, art etc). either have a piss kink, foot fetish, or demisexual. 

Scorpio Venus: intense lovers. my ex had this placement and told me he’d die for me only knowing me 3 months. my sister also has this placement and will not eat dinner without her husband (could be the taurus opposition = not eating (taurus) until lover (Venus) is around), I think it’s a symbol of loyalty. once this placement finds value in someone, they are ride or die type loyal until you betray them. may stay in relationships longer than they should because it’s fixed emotion unless they finally see it themselves.

Cancer Moon (men specifically): I've had 3 cancer moon men take me to the beach on our first date. they’re always gassing themselves up on their cooking skills. their moms can be really restricting, especially those with Saturn in cancer as well. I've also seen their moms be really detached, cold, basically telling them to fend for themselves. highly intuitive but may get too caught up in the potential of a situation/ person and being disappointed when reality is different. hopeless romantics fr just throwing themselves into anyone they have a good feeling about without the physical proof.

Fixed Rising: the RBF (I love y’all). 

Vedic v. Tropical Astrology: honestly I think they’re both valid, and everyone should decide what placements resonate more with who they feel they are. Ex: I  have Venus, Jupiter, and my Sun in the 7th in Virgo (Tropical) but they’re in the 8th in Leo (Vedic). I feel more of the 8th house but in Virgo.

Pisces moons: I never feel like they’re listening to me if they aren’t looking at me because when they’re looking at me I can literally see them digesting the info w/ their dreamy eyes, but when they look away I just know they’re imagining some kind of fantasy that has nothing to do with the convo. 

Libra Moons: try to be soft and sweet but they have that fiery underside. I've noticed they’ll get all excited and sometimes aggressive and then apologize for it, like no girl look at you having a good time. they usually look aesthetically pleasing, you will never catch them not matching/ lookin raggedy in public, but they won’t judge others for it, Virgo and Taurus will haha.

Virgo + Libra: specifically rising + degrees, moon, or Venus combo usually have clear, healthy looking skin, especially after high school w/o all the teen acne hormones. 

Moon Conjunct Pluto: anyone else noticed the effect these placements have on their peers? it’s so weird but people are like magnetized to whatever house this placement is in. I guess cos it’s generational and yk it’s Pluto, but people around this placement can’t help but be enticed by these individuals. could be amazing actors if they can harness those dark emotions into a piece of work. these are the type of people to succeed out of spite of their trauma; very determined people. they can put such dark emotions into easy actions and words that others find hard to say out loud but they don’t shy away from dark stuff, they’ve dealt with darker topics since they were young.

Neptune in the 1st house: people constantly projecting onto these placements ! it’s important these people form a ground sense of self they can remind themselves of when they feel like someone is protecting on them. I have this placement and someone told me I was intoxicating to be around/ they felt intoxicated around me though they are sober. I fr think people get drunk off the illusion of this placement. These people are never what people say they are, if you want to get to know them I beg of you to please talk to them yourself instead of listening to others opinion of them. the women are cursed with the manic pixie dream girl trope. hella sex appeal bc of the blurred perceptions. make amazing actors/ musicians. very intuitive placement, but can doubt themselves.

i’m making this for practice.

to be honest, i don't feel like middle to end of september is going to be good for nicki minaj. and i think it's gon suck well into october too...

she has her twelfth house containing mars in capricorn. the tweflth house is the house of one's own self undoing. it's highly karmic, so we are often undone by things we refuse to accept and grow from. it's no surprise that nicki is quite terrible at expressing her anger and frustration... like... to be honest, this is all because she's quite insecure in reality.

mars is the planet of the root chakra, and the root chakra shows our survival and our sense of security, and hers is afflicted. as is it's a malefic, in the house of "bad spirit." it forms a mutual reception with her tenth house saturn in scorpio. she could be using it to learn how to properly direct her energy -- how to assert her authority. but she doesn't.

but she want everybody to bow to her and i think it's her tenth house saturn conjunct her ninth house pluto. the ninth house is the house of god. so i wonder if the tenth house lord being in the ninth house conjunct her tenth house saturn creates a god complex.

anyways. i think her insecurity is causing her to be paranoid and lash out on people but that's compromising her ability to create from a space that's not also insecure. to be real, i also think that's why her music ain't hitting like it used to. in this case, she lowkey embodying the myth of saturn. saturn can show how far someone will go to maintain power. that nigga literally ate his kids. and she always talking about how bitches her sons so... do the math.

this pluto in capricorn transit over her mars been showing just how paranoid she is. she been wanting to undermine others because she want to feel powerful but her spiritual "power bank" is again compromised.

and her twelfth house lord is in the tenth house. this shit is really impacting her legacy and her public reception. instead of gracefully solidifying herself as a legend & accepting that times change, she's conspiring against herself due to her paranoia. she also is a natal eighth house virgo moon. an overactive mind in the shadows of her mind is lowkey fucking with her.

there's going to be a transit moon, transit pluto, and natal mars conjunction in her twelth house on october 11th. i'm just throwing shit out... but the way the moon works is that as a luminary, it illuminates whatever house it's in. in the twelfth house, it can illuminate the ways she's undoing herself and thus undoing her career as a result of it?

there's going to be a lunar eclipse in her second house-eighth house axis on september 17th. i do not think it'll be nice to her. but that's because she's not nice to others and thus, she's not nice to herself. "when u hurt me u hurt urself." this lunar eclipse will be passing over the transit saturn rx in pisces in her second house. i haven’t yet thought about how the lunar eclipse will impact the saturn rx, but it does involve the nodes. and specifically the south node. the node of past life karma. of the body without the head. it’s baggage.

lunar eclipses illuminate things that were hidden within us. the transit moon will be in her second house, the sun will be in her eighth house conjunct her natal moon. which means her natal eighth house virgo moon will be opposing the transit pisces moon. true colors really finna show. i think this should be a dormant time for her. she don’t need to be tweeting, arguing, going live, nothing tbh. she already got natal indications for having baggage so it’d do nothing but illuminate it.

Sidereal ASC signs that might be experiencing luck/blessings in relationships during 2024-2025:

I’d like to be clear that it encompasses many types of relationships rather than strictly romantic ones, regardless if Jupiter aspects 5th house of love or 7th house of committed relationships.

Intimate Spiritual Diary, Entry 7: Bullying, the Ascendant, Lilith & Pluto

TLDR: A mix of Astrology tips and emotionally pouring from my mutability. Way back when I briefly lost it; Sun / Ascendant clash as Lilith kicks ass, and strict stellium rules seem a bit funny.

I’ve really been going straight to town on Astrology for about a year now, and multiple times have noticed this, but never bothered to actually write it down - There’s a simple, quite obvious reason for why I have a pattern of being (or just feeling) completely misunderstood as to who I am as a person, among many people, for 43 years now: My Pisces Ascendant is opposite my Virgo stellium. The Ascendant is an intertwining of self-expression and how others perceive us; first impressions and how we instinctively want to be seen. My Virgo Sun is part of my stellium and the Sun represents innate identity and personality.

In opposition, the energy clash I’m talking about here becomes obvious.

It could have been more difficult though. I could be dealing with squares instead of oppositions; harshness without any motivation for energetic movement.

I was bullied so much as a child that in one situation, I was hurt further by losing my temper. I grabbed a boy by the neck, pushed him into a wall and yelled at him (Mars [action and aggression] in Scorpio [mystery & transformation] in the 7th house of one-on-one relationships of all types). When my father was called in because I was labeled as violent, he said he didn’t believe it because his daughter never behaves that way at home, so what did the boy say or do to me first?

I remember being called every insult you can think of. I don’t remember any specific incidents of things that were said to me mockingly, or with anger; not word for word. It was so much, and so regularly that it all blends and blurs together, because it was all too intense. Anger to a girl, especially in my situation with it mostly being expressed by boys, is incredibly frightening. It’s often repressed in the wars between the sexes. It’s no wonder to me now that eventually I became violent. I asked my parents for clarification, and they don’t remember any other times when I was violent.

Lilith deals with fear and repression between the sexes. There are 4 Liliths in Astrology and if you’re looking to simplify it or for a place to start, the most commonly worked with one is a point called Mean Black Moon Lilith, though the Asteroid Lilith, as it has a physical body, is also popular.

My Mean & True Black Moon Liliths are both in Libra (justice and balance) in the 7th house (one-on-one relationships, conflicts, alliances), Asteroid Lilith in Scorpio (shadow work, phoenix rising from the ashes) is also in the 7th, and Dark Moon Lilith is in Aquarius (innovation, humanitarianism, shock and sudden change, revolution) in the 12th House (mystery, esoteric exploration within multiple realms of experiential reality, mental health).

Lilith is deeply misunderstood on too many levels to go into here, as I’m not trying to write you a book. There are plenty of good occultic articles and books about Lilith. She’s still commonly seen as a demon, and yet without her protecting me and inspiring me, even on levels within my aura and subconscious which I wasn’t aware of at the time, I both think and feel that my experiences having been bullied would have been worse. Lilith is my warrior Goddess.

Pluto is also in my 7th house in Libra, conjunct (3° orb., applying) my Mean Black Moon Lilith, and so he had an equal part in helping me with all of this, through his superior transformative powers, assessing multiple angles through the Libran lens. Pluto is not a version of “the devil”, and He is not dangerous; far from it. Pluto is an active principal in fearlessness, death and rebirth. Pluto is my warrior God.

I guess some would choose to feel superior to those who had bullied them, yet I say now and I say in all times and I say in all experiences of non-time that I forgive every single one of the people who had ever bullied me. I release all energies which it is now karmically sound as it is karmically lawful, for me to release at this time and at all other appointed experiences of time and non-time. I transmute those released energies into the purity of Natural Law. It took my into my 20’s, but I later realized you all did it not for the pure sick joy of it, but because you were acting out due to your own un-addressed traumas. I hope every single one of you has found and finds all of the healing that it is karmically sound as it is karmically lawful for you to receive and achieve. We create and resolve our own karmas both individually and collectively, and we all deserve the freedom of the resolution that such experiences bring.

I remember fondly only one teacher who never treated me like there was something wrong with me due to the bullying (not even in her body language, which people sometimes think they can get away with denying exists), which my friends knew was not instigated by me. If you knew me growing up, remember Mrs. Dennis at Wakefield Elementary? Best teacher ever. I hear bullies are sometimes handled differently now; fairly as teachers are taught to pay attention and actually pretend they care about kids in general, but in the 80’s and early 90’s, especially if you’re different in any way (I’m mixed race), you’re automatically stamped as the one “in the wrong”.

I was hurt knowing the capacity for violence that was buried within me, not realizing at the time of course, since I was a child, that this is a simple survival instinct which all people have. I’m not and have never been the sort of person who enjoys making others feel bad in any way. I was bullied regularly throughout my formal schooling experiences, in every school, for being curious and enthusiastically enjoying learning, and for having emotions. Plus, for the “crime”, of allowing myself to become so emotionally beaten that I would cry in front of other children, thus providing them with more to bully me about. It’s all caused me much sorrow, and confusion about my own sense of self and worth over the years, some of which must have still been buried, as I’m now writing about this at the age of 43. Strange, isn’t it? I’ve talked this stuff over with family, friends and therapists, and gotten support, yet sometimes things keep coming up until we recognize and express specifically and, perhaps, often enough on them.

Thank God/dess for tools like Astrology. Creative pattern recognition; equally an art and a science.

It’s so obvious to me now, but I’ve been downplaying all of that for about a year because of my chart ruler Neptune (in Sagittarius in the 9th) being daydreamy in an emotionally reckless way, causing confusion (probably sub-consciously) so that at times I have mistaken philosophizing for deep inner work. I’m not ashamed to admit it. I come by it honestly; none of that hipster bullshit for me. Chart rulers generally only sprinkle their energy around a chart, but that’s definitely a dollop. I have far to go yet in my spiritual growth, and yet I know that I have all the necessary tools to continue reaching and breaking through myself, freely rebuilding who I am.

Those experiences had also caused me to often seem more introverted than I am, to avoid making people uncomfortable with the (seemingly to them) disparity of who I am as a person, even though I only feel emotionally unstable when people treat me like I’m being dramatic for attention; as if I don’t even know what my own thoughts and emotions are, so they have been sent to me, and are fated to educate me into being their sort of human being, so they can feel comfortable. Some people would prefer that they understand who everyone is automatically and easily, maybe because they don’t think much, and presume that everyone else is basically a carbon copy of them. This comes across as shortsighted and lazy to me.

And I know lazy; I also have Jupiter in the 6th as part of my stellium or to some a, shall we say, thought-of-as-pseudo-stellium. There’s 13° between my Sun and Saturn, plus Jupiter is too erratic to be considered in an old fashioned stellium. It feels like how people describe their stelliums, as it’s 6 placements (including my Moon, though that’s not meant to be part of a stellium as it moves so quickly, and I kind of agree with that one), then in an unbroken Virgo line into the 7th through the Vertex and Mercury.

To sum that up, because there’s 13° instead of a limit of 10° between all of my Virgo 6th placements, people think their fully conjunct, traditional stelliums make them…. Better at having a stellium or something lol? It seems like a case of overthinking on their part. And when even a Virgo suggests someone is overthinking, listen up, cause we’re the “best” at that. Maybe they’re just competitive for whatever reason. My Neptune in Sagittarius is too busy daydreaming and philosophizing to care much at this point, so that doesn’t bring up any of that fiery Sagittarius Sun, Moon or Rising type of competitive drive.

Transiting Saturn enters Pisces

Tuesday, March 7, 2023, 13:35 UT

This is a long post, so in the interest of not clogging up people’s dashboards, follow me past the “keep reading.”

The first hunch I had about this transit was, “People will double down on their nonsense.” By which I meant: the more some people try to disprove others’ beliefs, the more tightly other people will cling to those beliefs. Saturn is fear, and Pisces is belief. (That can go both ways, too - the stronger some people’s faith, the harder other people will try to wreck it.)

Another bad thing coming home to roost and to bite us in the butt, will be any addictive behaviors. Not necessarily drugs or alcohol, either. TV, for example; going to the gym, perhaps; even aimlessly scrolling down Tumblr. Steven Forrest calls addictions (approximately) “any pleasurable behavior with which we have an unhealthy relationship” - it’s time to examine how this is playing out in our own lives.

What else negative? Saturn is fear, and Pisces is spirituality - we can find ourselves staying with a religion, or any belief system, just because it makes us feel “safe.” (The more fire-and-brimstone types of leaders will love this transit.) Guilty consciences may affect us, too - these are good times for making up for past errors.

The main deal with Saturn going through Pisces, is making a commitment to spiritual progress, and then following through with discipline and patience. Solitude is important - we have to be comfortable with spending time all alone. And regular meditation and prayer is important, too - not just when we’re afraid.

In The Book of Water, Steven Forrest wrote about this transit:

…you have come to a steep and rocky place on the spiritual mountain you are climbing. Obstacles ripen and appear - and you are ripe to conquer them. Committed, disciplined, relentless effort undertaken willingly now yields extraordinary results - but not overnight. Patience and relentlessness are rewarded as the months go by. This is more of a time for making lifelong spiritual vows than a time for “amazing weekend workshops.” Solitude is a sacrament. Silence is a psychedelic.

That sounds pretty wonderful to me, but I suppose if you’re more of a materialist it’s nightmarish.

Placements in Pisces will feel the most pressure to up their spiritual game. If they’ve been escapist, they’ll run into the brick wall of Saturn reality; if they’ve been too vague and nebulous, Saturn will demand some eventual concrete expressions.

Placements in Virgo may find these challenges working through other people. Projection is a possibility. Virgo needs to (gently and kindly!) turn its honesty to its own motives.

Placements in Gemini and Sagittarius will find friction with this transit. I suspect (as a Gemini!) that these two signs’ notorious commitment-phobia is due for some serious examination.

Placements in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, and Capricorn will be enhanced by this transit. They’ll find it easy to integrate Saturn/Pisces lessons into how they function.

Placements in Leo and Libra have some adjustments to make. Health could be affected adversely by any (back)sliding into addictive behaviors.

Placements in Aries and Aquarius may feel this more as a niggling subconscious itching, rather than anything obvious and overt.

In 2023, Saturn will move only up to 7°40’ Pisces - later placements have a little more time to prepare!

We also need to pay attention to the natal house(s) Saturn is transiting through, to determine specifically where to direct our efforts. For example, if Saturn/Pisces is traveling in the 2nd House, we might need to address how, and on what, we’re spending our money; we also may need to work on having more faith in ourselves.

Neptune and the Moon both deal with the unseen, to some degree. Neptune is our dreams and our most sensational desires, while the moon is our innermost self, often hidden from the world. When they oppose each other there can be conflicts when it comes to figuring out what certain situations call for. Neptune casts a haze over things that can be considered obvious, and tends to make everything it touches very un-obvious. With the moon in Virgo these things include things that are usually very real, and casts over them a fog of strange ambiguity. There are some things on Wednesday that may simply seem untouchable, impossible to understand and truly unpredictable. We may need to take time to more clearly understand things versus taking them for granted.
