I don't talk about Viggo as much as I should, but I definitely think about him pretty frequently, and I just feel like we don't talk about what he does in Buffalord Soldier as much as we should.

Aside from the obvious insane moral implications of what he did (probably the darkest thing in RTTE imo), it's a really good demonstration of how committed he is to his goals.

He is willing to take some pretty insane risks and handle some pretty serious hits. If there hadn't been a living Buffalord dragon he could have had a serious problem on his hands. (Honestly he really could've either way, but yk)

For money he was willing to set a deadly plague on the archipelago, and he was also willing to do that before he had confirmation that there were any buffalords left,,, like,,, it's just insane to me lol

Vigcup modern au stuff

At some point before they got together, Viggo accidentally calls Hiccup "love". Like Hiccup was clumsy and bumped into something and Viggo goes "you alright love?" before he can stop himself. And Hiccup's too awkward to question it so he just says "yes" and they don't talk about it. Later Hiccup's talking to Gobber (family friend), trying to figure out what it meant without explicitly telling him what happened.

Hiccup: Gobber, you're Scottish.

Gobber:...Astute observation, Hiccup

Hiccup: Do English people like—

Gobber: I'm not fucking English.

Hiccup: No, I know, but you know English people

Gobber: ...Unfortunately.

Hiccup: So like...is it normal for an English guy to call another guy "love"?

Gobber: Ah, yeah I suppose to take the piss out of him.

Hiccup: (dissapointed)...right.

Gobber: Or, potentially flirt. Depending on who it is.

Hiccup: OH. Ok. Cool.

Gobber:...who's calling you "love," Hiccup?

Hiccup: N-No one, I just—

Gobber: Mmm...something's going on

potential first in a series about artificial intelligence Krogan and Viggo. The platonic soulmates tag is there for a reason as Krogan views him (Viggo) as his father due to the fact that he looks identical to him.
