My 2024 Fics
Got this idea from my friend @damoselcastel and thought it would be fun to look back on my fics from this year. Quite a bit of them were written by request, fundraising, or commission, but I always like to think about them. :) You can find them all on my Ao3 page.
Out, out, brief candle: An FE4 Bloom and Hilda-centric fic written in request for the FE Rally for Gaza. It was the first time for me writing either of them, despite my love for Friege Family Nonsense. It was so interesting exploring them as flawed people, whose best intentions (or selfish wants) lead to everything in their personal lives crumbling even before the Liberation Army or Leif's Army get involved.
A Lioness Among Dragons: Another Rally for Gaza piece, this time requested by my friend and long-time fellow Jugdral brainworms haver @dithorba. Exploring an Azelle!Nanna raised by Arvis is such a fascinating concept, as she's honestly one of the only second gen children I can see withstanding the imperial court. It also was cool thinking about how Loptous!Julius would imprint on her in a similar but contrasting way to his possessiveness toward Ishtar.
Forbidden Sanctuary: (The first explicit work! There will be more!) A work for my dear friend Val in one of our ongoing Arvis/Lukas crackship verses. Has the usual highlights of possession and bodysharing, and I got to dip my 'pen' more into thinking about monsterfucking, even if in here its mostly centered around trying to escape some trapped ruins. I like returning to this verse since its the one firmly placed in the Urban Fantasy genre.
Loopholes: This time a full request from the "Out, out, brief candle" requester @/blueharmonix on twitter, and another fun one: exploring Kempf, the meme, the bitch, the legend--- and how goddamn twisted up he is about Reinhardt, and also imagining a way for FE5 to happen where together they learn to not be completely culpable soldiers in the empire's war machine. It was fun trying to balance how both of them would react differently to the same inciting event.
Dispersal: Another addition to mine and @charisu's Arthur/Hawk-centric verse, or "that canonsubkiddo AU." I liked thinking about more familial dynamics, both by blood and by marriage, and how different perspectives can add insight and assistance. A lot of this work is centered around Hawk and a recently de-stoned Azelle being gardening buddies, which was also fun. :)
Budding Union: An attempt at a short, sweet, and sexy friends to lovers with FE16 Mercedes and Annette confessing to each other on the eve of the final battle for Monse. I had written them before as a couple in some way, but it was nice thinking about that inbetween of a crush and a fully "matured" love.
Ball Seirce: Hoping I can return to this fic in 2025! I kept thinking of an idea that it felt strange to me that Tine wasn't betrothed or married off to anyone based on how it played a factor in Friege family dynamics (or at least an attempt) to gain political position, and I really love Tine/Altena, so I thought about the "Diarmuid of the Love Spot" and how that initial premise of becoming attracted to someone intended for your (much older) relative would be cool. Plus, I just want to think about Tine and Travant interacting, as that would be so curious: an underaged waif to a much older lord, which is the premise of many, many different varieties of stories, but Travant is only marrying Tine for the grain her dowry provides, and Tine is honestly?? Much safer??? In Travant's court? Its FASCINATING.
The Lion in Winter: I finally, FINALLY, finished my FE15 "30 years later" fanfic. I was so happy to finally get everything that I had been thinking about the final few chapters and reveals out to the world. Despite the gaps in writing time, I think my writing matured throughout. I love this verse so much, and hearing from readers that they enjoyed how Alm and Lukas's relationship changed and developed alongside all the side characters (and even my OCs!) interacted felt so satisfying that I was able to do that haha. Honestly, if you pick any fic from this lot that is only mine, please take a chance on this one.
Memories of Teatime: First fic I have written from Tailtiu's (especially early years to exile in Silesse Tailtiu's) perspective, and it was a delight. FE4, especially Gen 1, just has this overhang of somberness that I think suits Tailtiu's character, even if she is usually outwardly rambunctious and positive. It was also nice exploring an early romance for her and Lex. :)
Ensiege: A Leif and Miranda friendship fic!!! Monse gave me the opportunity to write a time for the two of them to actually TALK, which I think helps a lot. That also paired with the headcanon of Miranda being Ethnia of Friege's child is so fun (I've accepted that I cannot and will not escape Friege Family Nonsense. Its in my bones.)
Lure: A request from a NSFW meme prompt with Asahoku (Arthur/Hawk). Thinking about how to bring magic into the bedroom and connecting it with the prompt choices was a delight. My interpretation of Hawk is he usually tries to follow the lead of his partner, but he's also a bit of a freak lmao.
Brothers in Arms: Alec and Naoise fwb!! Not much to say about this one besides wanting to write something with Naoise in it for a friend and that it was fun.
Strung Up: The final of the NSFW request drabbles that is NSFW. Fernand longs to be a Third in any relationship he is near, imo. Berkut and Rinea can scent his longing from a mile away, and unlike blissfully unaware Clive and Mathilda they take advantage of it. It's fun placing the usually most outwardly "prim" and obsessed with image among the nobility in the FE15 cast as a toy.
Like Moths to a Flame: Thanks to @dornishsphinx for showing me the aching beauty that is Sonya/Rinea post-FE15. They were on the fringes of two of my other FE15 stories at this point, but the For You My Heart Zine let me fully realize a story for them, and explore a little more the struggles of trying to keep one's identity without your actual "soul." (technically written mostly in 2023, but only officially released this year).
Dewdrops: I watched Princess Tutu for the first time in 2024 thanks to dame, and it was WONDERFUL. I see why people recommend it alongside Revolutionary Girl Utena, even if it goes in its own directions and themes. This is just some sweet Fakiru thinking about the what-if Duck got to become human again and them having an ear piercing session (bc Fakiru, as the kids say, is Yuri---)
Basking in the Glow: A collaboration with @damoselcastel! I really got attached to Alear and Pandreo, and imagining how a post-FE17 would interact with so MANY Alears while ultimately missing his actual husband was both fun and sweet.
Tightrope: And FE5 AU where Jeanne is raised as Leif's body double and thinking about her, Leif, and Finn together makes me pace the room and tear my hair out (in a good way). Finn unable to accept himself as Leif's dad bc that can't be his job, pushing his own damage onto Jeanne knowingly, even though it hurts, because that's the only way he can think to protect Leif, and Jeanne somehow able to come to her own actualization regardless, when FINN never could. Oooggghhhhfff. Thank you @charisu I want to keep gnawing on this story idea like a bone.
In darkness, consumed: The Arkas vampire AU!!! I have so much lore for this story lmao. My friend Val just lets me indulge in my writing so much and I appreciate that. One day I'll get a commission of Fruit Bat Monster Lukas.
Close and Closer: A Suzume fic since I watched the film for the first time this year! I'm weird with Makoto Shinkai films in that I watched Children who Chase Lost Voices near the end of high school and got too utterly wrecked to want to check out any of his other works, but Suzume was a delight. Despite all the jokes about the chair and the initial concept, Suzume and Souta's bond was so strong by the end that I could really see a future with them together. This is a little steamy "what if" with them still early in their relationship and learning to communicate their wants with each other without being afraid of being "too much."
Rituals and Reaffirmations: Recently finished this one! My gift for a P4 Protag/Yosuke Hanamura secret santa exchange. I can't believe this was my first official Persona 4 fic! But I really love the game and the characters in it, and since I replayed P4 Golden throughout this year I wanted to contribute. Hopefully more for this game and P3 in the future. The fic itself was fun, and it felt so easy to imagine the dialogue and ribbing between the characters haha.
Bedfellows: My latest and likely last fic for 2024! Another request from Monse. It was nice thinking about Tailtiu and Lachesis's dynamic in this work, and how they could relate but also be affectionate in their own ways. A very fluffy and sexy end to 2024 lmao.
Wow, looking back on it, quite a bit of oneshots this year! The main project that I've been working on behind the scenes the past couple of months should by released in March, so that's something to look forward to, and I'm sure I have plenty of The Lion in Winter-related Oneshots and another exchange fic that'll show up in the first half of 2025.

Things I think of a lot when it comes to Sayuri (Dragon Age version)
Running to the Inquisitor && taking her jacket off to secure their warmth after the events of Haven. She follows Cullen through the snow only to shield the Inquisitor from the elements, visibly distraught.
Her introduction in DAI is during a party where she shows off parlor tricks with a champagne glass, using a dagger to cut the cork && glass. It’s unbelievably decadent, fancy, all the while toasting to the Inquisitions pursuits.
Prefers masc clothing when roaming Skyhold, loose tunics tucked haphazardly into breeches, leather gloves, her hair is always loosely braided or in romantic waves. She is never seen without her mask but has a thousand for functionality && occasion. It is considered taboo for her to be without a face, even if one was to remove her mask, they would find a thick layer of cosmetics underneath to shield her natural state.
Speaking of such a thing, it happens during the events of Haven where she quickly shields her face but one can see the gruesome scar where later on she will reveal there is nothing in this life to fear. Not the Blight, not the Empire, Mages, Tevintor, except her - she is a ruthless hunter && spiteful when all she loves is threatened.
Her color scheme is pastel pink, ivory, and gold in this verse. In Trespasser she is seen in a beautiful white dress giving alms to the children of Val Royaux during the holidays.
Her faith is an incredible backbone to her story, Sayuri knows the collections of the Chant of Light. One can hear her often praying during the times she is allowed to relax, though she is faithful && revered as Andraste’s Dove, she often makes crude jokes in such manners. If the Inquisitor is Dalish, she does not hold the belief that the Maker has sent them as their herald, instead, the Inquisitor is the brightness that wards the dark && perhaps, this is something greater. Her love is devotion, even in the platonic sense, she comes to believe that her zealous faith blinds her to the truth that stands before her - this group of misfits, political outcast, they quickly become home && she upholds them in her heart deeply.
Loves horseback riding, if one choose to venture with her out, she will speak of her family on the outskirts && their humble origins.
Veilguard introduces her once more where she recounts story of such days, she will confess to Rook, perhaps other than the innocence of helping her father create beautiful dresses for nobility; it was when she was the happiest. Though, as a diplomat of Orlais, she will uphold to help Rook regardless. Her tongue has dulled over time, granting her a sense of wisdom, gentleness && introspective nature. Though one thing is important to recognize; she doesn’t wear a full mask, only half.

Got through Chapter 2. And 3...didn't realize how easy that one would be...
OHGOD THERE ARE MAJOR SPOILERS UNDER CUT!!!
In the lighthearted, fighting Fullmetal Hugger was hilarious as Morley just used his one Nightblade tech and it made him climb the wall with the boss! So while Palamena and Val were fighting the little crabs, Morley was just FLYING after the boss! Great end to Chapter 2.
Now, as for Chapter 3, which is all scenes...
As someone who has played Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy X, I knew we'd have some sort of "heroine doubts her mission" moment. Hell, the biggest difference in the setup (not the main story since things are proceeding fairly differently with the journey), besides multiple alms vs. one Chosen or Summoner, is that the main character and player both KNOW what's happening compared to Tidus or Lloyd being in the dark. So, when Eoren brought up a way out, I was just waiting to see how it was going to go wrong.
Wasn't expecting, "Use Val's power to turn Hinna into a Corestone." Eoren attempting to stop things with a flawed ritual...yes. Eoren kidnapping Hinna to use her for whatever his plan was...yes. Transferring Hinna's soul into himself or Val for whatever the plan was...yes. Nice to know the game surprised me!
We did get some time to explore the next area (and spend coin at Niccolo's). But taking a break. Unfortunately, being busy on Tuesdays and having to go back to work means I won't get to play until Wednesday...

Amongst the nobility of Val Royeaux, in pearlescent hues of white && Spring pink, she twirls in decadence. Her voice, the guidance of Andraste, she rallies the hearts of Orlais in unison && inhales the sun itself. Lioness of the Courts, Celene’s very own songbird who weaves tapestries of heroes of yore, to the rising of the Empire, Sayuri stands as a fixture of beauty && faith. None would ever believe the woman before them in a mask of porcelain, cracked with fillings of gold, came from a humble background. Daughter of the Dales, her hands outstretched skirting against the lilac && towering figures of wheat, she was a child of a mere tailor that lived quietly in their humble nature. With a boundless love for her small family consisting of her twin brother, father, and grandmother, Sayuri sold her being to become a bard.
Thrust into the hedonistic den of lions, the rabbit trembling in fear quickly armed herself with a blade && crafted her fragile demeanor into the perfect weapon. In a collision with another bard, she would gain a gruesome scar upon her chest but won the battle, though the girl wept she knew to become a saboteur she must lose all her innocence. The clutch she held was her faith in the Maker, reciting hymns && speaking of Andraste’s guidance; lead us into glory, she would utter, grant me strength where my hands quiver. The road to Halamashir was long forged in blood && secrecy, lovers that met their final poisoned kiss, in the haze of their demise, they whispered the petite being before them was Andraste herself - to which Sayuri would laugh, no, the Maker’s Bride could never be so cruel. She would gain her wish, bringing her family into the aristocratic world && though she would be spurned for her acts, never once did she look back.
Dragon Age Inquisition: Sayuri acts as the Emissary for Empress Celene, granting the Inquisition an entry into the Winter Palace, though they must bide their time && seize power to prove their worth. She is the Keeper of Alms, granting the Inquisition rare goods, financial support, and curating favor with the upper class of Val Royeaux. In the attack against Haven, her bravery is said to be a beacon of light, helping the innocent escape the flames despite her hesitation on the Inquisitor upholding the status as the Herald of Andraste. Sayuri falls into a crisis of faith per se during her time in Skyhold, doubting the Maker’s plans && seeming personally conflicted. Not once does she betray the Inquisitor or show agitation / hostility, if the Inquisitor is Dalish, she deems it be. The Bard is often seen within the gardens leading prayer or helping in the kitchen to feed the Inquisition. Her virtues outshining the vices that she heavily shows regret for while voicing it is no one’s plight but her own to carry, the Maker has willed this weight, thus she will uphold it with grace. Should the party choose to keep Celene in a position of power, Sayuri will sway the court into the Inquisition's favor && deemed with the Empires grace, they can move towards a new dawn.
Dragon Age: Veilguard: Though a more supportive figure, once more, Sayuri is sent on behalf of Empress Celene to speak with Rook. Though she proclaims there isn’t much that the Empire can help with in slaying Gods, they can offer coin, plenty of which has sway. Morrigan would note that Sayuri does not return to her gilded cage by the Empress’s side, instead, she answers the call of the Inquisitor strongly hinting that after the events of Tresspar her heart was rendered on fire with deep scorn && protective nature for the Maker’s chosen.
MISC INFORMATION;
Sayuri’s love for the Inquisitor is familial, in a world where she is demanded to give flesh && blood, to be within the Inner Circle is the first time in years she has felt peace. If one befriends the bard, they learn that it reminds of a time of innocence where she would smile more than anything. In the events of Veilguard, her voice breaks softly when speaking to Lavellan demonstrating though her alliance is with the Empire, her heart remains in Skyhold. She seems relieved to know Varric is well && happy to encounter Dorian once more, even if her status with Morrigan is neutral, she shows the Witch of the Wilds respect.
Her scars are concealed with magic, only the Empress’s ladies in waiting, Celene, and intimate partners know the depth of her injuries from her younger years. She shows no regret when approached about them knowing fully well it was to be expected, a life for a life, that is the nature of a saboteur.
Versed in a plethora of instruments she is fond of the lyre, harp, and lute. During her stay in Skyhold, she often plays idly within the early mornings perfuming the air with a pleasant song as the dawn approaches.
She hints to her twin often, Sayuri can be found writing letters back home && seems proud that her twin brother has become a chevalier. With utmost joy, she chimes her father has a new shop in Val Royeaux tailoring for the upper aristocrats, while her grandmother is eager to meet her new friends so they may have tea && fresh bread soaked in the aromatics of basil.
Never seen without a mask or heavy makeup, she is one of the few who finds the nobility of Orlais to not partake in such customs to be odd, even as a child, she wore a plain strip of cloth to conceal her vision. Her father, Minato, would embroidered sunflowers upon the side in order to give her a pretty thing to wear with great pride. Her first mask is said to resemble just that; wild flowers while her current during Inquisition is meant to be jarring from an otherworldly perspective. Her ‘hideout’ in Skyhold consists of multiple gold mirrors, porcelain pots filled with cosmetics, jewelry && perfume that range from roses to lavender.
When a sister of the Chantry cannot act in prayer or lessons, she is happy to help, seeing as her faith has granted her a ‘holy’ status. During the events of Veilguard it is said prior to her help, Sayuri spent most of her time teaching the children of the Winter Palace the Maker’s words. She admits, time has granted her a softness that her younger self would find unbecoming but, she is still with hidden knives.
Who kept feeding Solas drinks during the Winter Palace? Sayuri.

21 - 23 marzo: Papeete Snow e Club Tour fanno ballare Madonna di Campiglio e Verona

L'estate 2025 è già iniziata da tempo, con il ritmo e l'energia di Papeete Beach & Villapapeete. Da oltre vent'anni, il binomio Papeete Beach - Villapapeete è unriferimento per chi ama per beach party, giornate di relax in spiaggia e notti di musica con amiche e amici. Non solo a Milano Marittima (RA), in Riviera Romagnola, ma in tutta Italia e in mezzo mondo, lo stile Papeete, che coinvolge chiunque, da 0 a 99 anni, vince… soprattutto per chi vuol ballare e rilassarsi con un certo stile.
Soprattutto a marzo 2025, ma anche per tutto l'inverno 2024-25, Papeete Snow e Club Tour, hanno fatto e stanno facendo scatenare gli après-ski più hot d'Italia e le discoteche di riferimento.Fino al 29 marzo, sono oltre dieci gli appuntamenti di divertimento già confermati tra Courmayeur (AO), Livigno (SO), Alta Val Badia (BZ), Bologna, Madonna di Campiglio (TN), Bologna, Verona, Lugano (Svizzera)…
In particolare, il 21-22-23 marzo, Papeete Snow Tour fa scatenare Madonna di Campiglio (TN), al Lab Apres Ski Madonna di Campiglio (Trento, nella foto) e pure la TIM Cup (Sci). La notte di sabato 22 marzo, invece, Papeete Club Tour fa muovere a tempo Disco Love, a Verona. Al microfono, per queste scatenate tappe c'è Ricky S, al mixer Mitch B. Sono due dei professionisti del divertimento della squadra Papeete. Con la loro energia non ballare è semplicemente impossibile.
Come sempre però (è la chiave di realtà che hanno alla spalle diversi lustri di successo assoluto) i veri protagonisti non sono sul palco o in console, sono sul dancefloor o sulle piste. L'universo Papeete mette insieme persone d'ogni tipo, accomunate dalla voglia di ballare col sorriso, in un contesto in cui niente è lasciato al caso.
E' ancora presto per parlare delle novità dell'estate 2025 tra Papeete Beach & Villapapeete, ma aspettare ballando con Papeete Snow e Papeete Club Tour sembra proprio una buona idea.

Let's Play Some Demos! - Part 5
Welcome to Part 5 of Let’s Play Some Demos | LPSD! In sum, these videos and streams aim to introduce gamers to, usually, Indie games! For this episode, I, once again, looked through my Steam Wishlist to see who had demos available. For those who are new, the purpose of this video series is to provide commentary and feedback on the games for educational purposes.
Today, I played demos for 4 games:
All-Star Fruit Racing A high-speed multiplayer racer with a unique power-up system! Combine different juices for a range of attacking and defensive abilities. Drift through looping bends. Soar over monumental jumps, and defy gravity around tubular tracks in an explosively colorful racer!
Indivisible Indivisible is a hand drawn action RPG platformer from Lab Zero, creators of the critically acclaimed Skullgirls! Set in a huge fantasy world, Indivisible tells the story of Ajna, a fearless girl with a rebellious streak who sets out on a quest to save everything she knows from being destroyed.
SaGa Emerald Beyond FORGE YOUR OWN TALE The latest standalone entry in the SaGa franchise, SaGa Emerald Beyond, brings together the very best elements of the beloved series to offer each player their own unique gameplay experience.
Visions of Mana Explore a world of elemental spirits and adventure in the latest Mana action-RPG. The protagonist Val and his childhood friend Hinna, the newly appointed Alm of Fire, set off on a journey to the Mana Tree.

The verdict? All-Star Fruit Racing and SaGa Emerald Beyond were removed from my wishlist, to my dismay. Fruit Racing crashed 3 times; not much else needs to be said. SaGa, however, wasn’t fun. It looked great, visually, and it had an interesting start, but once I started being able to do things, it went downhill. The music was better than I expected it to be; too bad I had the volume so low. The Timeline mechanic reminded me of Othercide, which made me smile, but that was about it. I was NOT expecting the Scottish accents. If the game depended upon my having prior knowledge to enjoy it, I missed that. The art style was excellent! The animations were smooth! The game looks gorgeous! How they did their turn-based combat, however, left much to be desired. My favorite one was Visions of Mana, to my surprise. It reminded me a LOT of Final Fantasy XV, which makes sense since they’re both Square Enix games. One would expect some familiar elements. The character banter was fun to listen to; the combat was intuitive until the camera got annoying. PUPPY MOUNTS! Anyway, the art style was consistent; if there’s a name for it, I forgot, but the art style was realistic enough to be believable while also being stylized enough to be unique and fun. One thing that annoyed me, but probably shouldn’t have since I wasn’t familiar with the series, was all the exposition in the beginning. It probably had to do with the voice acting being meh. I’ve already forgotten the character’s names, except for Val, the protagonist, but I do remember thinking whoever voiced the Kitty Cat, whose name I regret not remembering because he holds a dagger in his tail when he fights, was trying too hard. I LOVE that game regardless. It’s one of a handful of games I’ve played that made me WANT to explore! Indivisible was a close second, despite the fact it pissed me off in the end. It was trying to introduce how to flee a battle, but, no matter what I did, fleeing didn’t happen, which forced me to end the demo early. However, I was having a BLAST up until that point! Once I got a hang of the combat system, mostly, I was grooving! I had trouble figuring out which party member was being attacked so I could block the attacks, but it didn’t stop me from wishing there were more games like it! When playing with a controller, each party member was attached to a particular button. All you had to do to make them attack was press a button. There was no menu or anything to sort through, just a slight alteration of a turn-based combat system. As their attack recharged, you could press the button once you were able and could either have a couple people attacking or have a barrage of attacks rained down on the enemy! It was SO MUCH FUN to watch! Fun art style, and nice, little touches with the animations! I DEFINITELY want this one! Despite the fact it showed up in the video as a tiny rectangle even though I made it full screen.

My extremely spoilery take on Visions of Mana
I have three big issues with this game--things that I feel like the story did poorly and could have made better if the writers had tried harder.
The whole game, I was convinced that the concept of turning someone from a corestone back into a person was going to come up. What is the point of having that corestone mechanic if you're not going to engage with it in that way? It felt like a Chekhov's Gun to me, that there would definitely be more to it, that Val would learn to appreciate and control his powers, etc. The fact that they never even mentioned the idea is something that still bothers me. Yeah, I would have liked a happier ending with Hinna, that's a factor in why I'm upset, but if the game wanted her to stay dead then they should have just killed her for real instead of setting it up like that and getting people's hopes up.
I think Cerulia should have died for a more divinely-related reason. 'Random act of murder, whoopsie' felt really cheap, and it felt like a stretch for Daelophos's response to be 'therefore I must kill god.' If it was just 'murdered by bandits,' it would make more sense for him to take it out on people, not the Goddess of Mana. The best way to do it would have been if Cerulia had died offering her soul to the Mana Tree to protect Daelophos while he was out fighting (unbeknownst to him) or something like that. It would even have worked if Cerulia had been seeking refuge in a temple to the Goddess and then murderers came in and profaned the temple or something like that. The Goddess should have been more directly involved in her death, to make it more fitting as a motivation for the Big Bad Of The Whole Story. With her death being so random, it just felt haphazard.
It seemed really wrong that the main characters ended up spending all the fights with Daelophos arguing in favor of the alm system. The game opened with an alm who doesn't want to die, making the player do everything they can to keep her from dying (and then failing, to really make it personal.) Vadise after her fight talks about how this particular group of alms seemed different and might be able to change things, heavily implying that the alm system was what needed changing. After fighting all the Benevodons, it seemed like the game was setting up new reasons for all the alms to want to stay alive and fight for their survival. Hinna got turned into a rock forever because she didn't want to get human sacrificed. To then turn around and yell at Daelophos that the alms throughout history willingly volunteer for noble self-sacrifice and that this is a good thing that must be cherished and respected felt absolutely tone-deaf. Hinna didn't die for you to defend the status quo, guys. It really felt like they just dropped all the themes they'd been building toward and went for a two-dimensional 'beat the bad guy save the world' kind of ending. I know that the credits imply that Val did fix the system enough to allow for all our main characters to live, but that should have been a crowning moment of triumph, not something you just imply through pictures over the credits. We didn't get to see Val arrive at the conclusion that something needed to be done, and we didn't get to see him make his decision. It didn't feel like he ever learned anything. It left me feeling cheated.
I still overall really loved the game, I just really feel like it fumbled the ending. The adventure in getting there is still great, and I don't feel like the bad ending took away from that, I just think that the writers wasted opportunities to make it appropriately satisfying.
