The storm outside had been what prompted Shaggy to seek shelter in the sandwich shop, but the amateur sleuth couldn’t say he regretted where he ended up. The aroma of fresh bread and high quality cold cuts wafting out from behind the counter were enough to make his stomach gurgle, and the twenty-five year old couldn’t wait until he made it to the front of the line so he could get his hands on some of that delicious smelling grub.

“Like, I’ll take one of everything you got on the menu please, man,” Shaggy breathed when it was finally his turn to step up to the register. Despite the fact it was raining cats and dogs out there, the cozy little shop was decently crowded. That in and of itself was another good sign that excellent things were to come if you asked Shaggy. People didn’t brave the elements for subpar food, in his experience.

“Thanks,” he grinned as moved to pay, only to pause at the cry of his former title and glance over his shoulder. “And like, whatever she’s having,” the older Rogers sibling added as he finally caught sight of Winnie, a twinkle in his eye as he jerked his thumb at her. “Just, like…add it to my tab, man. She’s an old friend of mine.”

She decides she’s going to do something, and she doesn’t give up until it’s done. Ah… I’m not allowed to speak more on Miss Chuu without her presence, my apologies, mister Levraut.”

“You broke into my house,”

“Your lovely wife let me in actually,”

“To wake me up from my nap and interrogate me on my assistant,”

“Interview, Mademoiselle, not interrogate. Though I am sorry for waking you, your eyes were open so I assumed-”

“Ah-ta-ta. You wanted to know Two’s best trait right? Adaptability. Any environment, any obstacle… he’s got brains enough to figure the way through most anything. And failing that? He knows a top notch engineer in Magitek to kit him with the right tools to overcome his few shortcomings. Hey wait did you fucking call me a mad gazelle, you lop-eared scab?!”

“Thank you for your time, both of you. I have just one more question before I consider this interview complete and I let you both go back to your.. erm, busy schedules. What would you say is each others weakest trait?”

“I knew it! This IS an interrogation! Two, don’t-”

“Ah, that would be Miss Chuu’s paranoia, mister Levraut. Most of her other traits net positive gain,”

“Watch your mouth, Two.”

“That is.. ah, her paranoid trait has served to pull her out of many situations she would have landed in had they not afforded her foresight and caution to approach most situations.”

“Two’s worst trait is how I just can’t seem to keep mad at him when he finds and exploits loopholes in whatever rules I’ve set for him. And last week I asked him to bring me lunch, and he was nowhere to be seen for nearly six bells.”

“… Miss Chuu, if I may, you were in Azys La, and you called me via Linkpearl to bring you specifically egg sandwiches from the Bismark, even utilizing the Aethernet it takes time… and when I arrived at your last marked location you were nowhere to be found.”

At first I thought about adding some text to it, but then I told myself, nah let the pics just speak. In this scene they probably met again after a another race, eventually starting slowly to be 'friends' now. Last pics tells me they might have agreed onto something about Baby (the car). Enzo may have lost it against Jay, yes — but Jay likes Enzo (and he knows Enzo likes him as well ;D) so it is a WinWin for them when they work together. In this way Enzo will still have Baby too, hehe.

I also once again forgot to place out the glowing tattoo mod I gave Jay. Guess Enzo will sooner or later ask why he's glowing all over his body. xD Jay will need to explain himself and I think he's first who gets to know about the "why" and "what". Because Jay and Enzo meet still in 2077 (when game events took place) before Jay finally finds Vijay in mid of 2078.

This one didn't make it into the set above bc the sunlight reflecting in the metal disturbed me and it is so bright in comparison to the rest and Baby is missing (car is to the left) too plus trash but I love how Jay looks at Enzolino here <3

Beth sometimes didn’t feel like she was the entire way HUMAN; even before Hannah’s death, it was her siblings who got their WHOLENESS. Beth was some amount of parts without purpose &. didn’t exist as interwoven with reality as the two of them. She supposes her friendship with Jack is somewhat a confirmation of her lack of wholeness.

Girls don’t usually hang out with men with flamethrowers. ( but girls also usually don’t have sisters that talk to them like grief - stricken dreams, visages of their old selves still transforming into monsters. )

Beth watches the fire crash into itself. ❛ It was a prank. My sister had this crush on this guy who’s kinda a womanizer, and she just.. there was a note, and a drawing, and she fell for it… and then they were all hiding in that room, recording her. Waiting for her to fail. She took her shirt off, and then she ran off into the snow. ❜

Beth remembers a part of her SOUL HOWLING that night, when Hannah left her behind. ( when beth let her go. are all exits as painful &. unreal as that one? did either of them deserve their connection burning that night? she felt hannnah go. ) 

❛ I don’t think any of them got what they deserved that night. It’s just me and my brother, and I know he understands the depths of what… we’ve been through. But also he doesn’t. Because how can he? And how can I him? My older brother. Resilient. And me. Honest. How do I save us from this HORRIBLE DARK PLACE? ❜
