Realizing I don't post a lot of my art because it's 99% silly little aus, so lemme share some more silly little au art

Au ficlet I never finished (ongoing-ish) with some spice where Volo fuses with Giratina as a last ditch effort to beat Haru. Haru is given the open to be his warden and convince him there's good in the world worth protecting (there was no real second option) and Volo preys on Haru's loneliness and isolation. Technically never faced Arceus which saved his life tbh.

Their energy by present day is very "divorced"

He is still Volo's warden though, so when Cyrus manages to ensnare Giratina!Volo, Haru shows up and possibly beats him to death with a pipe

MONSTERS AU (started by @desertparallel )

Haru is a construct that was created to deal with monsters (think MIB) but he tries to mask himself as human. In reality he's the entity inside a magic mirror (mirror mirror on the wall etc) that was put in a body because if the body gets too damaged he just goes back to his mirror and there's no human life lost.

Volo is a vampire that doesn't know he's not a human and is so so afraid of accidentally hurting him. Lysandre is a vampire Haruko has been keeping tabs on for thirty years and they are assholes to each other. Lysandre doesn't consider him a real person because he was never technically alive.

Volo/Haru reigns supreme but it's kinda love/hatey in this au. They're both using each other for their own personal gains. Volo doesn't necessarily TRUST Haruko with the plates he collects, but he has little in the way of options.

Haruko sees Volo as someone interesting and that can be hard to come by. The man is a walking piece of history and is a wellspring of information... And valuable artifacts to add to his collection.

There is definitely mutual attraction of course, and Volo can see the value in having someone so dangerous on your side instead of against you. Whenever he's in Sinnoh he's under Haruko's protection which means that even if someone compelled by Arceus's curse attacks him, there will be retribution for it.

Put too much effort into this not to post. In an au where Haruko stayed a criminal and while he left team rocket he never met Looker or became a better person, Lyric gave him a full Irezumi tattoo of Ho-oh and Lugia in battle with one another.

Haru leaves Johto and lives in Kanto for a good decade. He then travels before he revives an old Kantonian pastime of underground battling (but in Sinnoh possibly.) He operates a Fighting ring that has three types of battles. Pokemon versus pokemon. Person versus pokemon (a Kanto special). And person versus person (because it can be entertaining to see two people throw down).

volo, speedrunner: and if we stand in this spot at JUST the right time and we have the right Secret ID and world seed -- this is why we did the RNG manipulation at the start of the game -- you can clip out of bounds and go directly to the end credits. It's all really quite simple, I got it on my first try, though I did have an advantage in that I was familiar with most of the controls from the prequel series --

guzma, completionist: so we're almost done with collecting every recipe -- we just gotta remake a couple of 'em with different toppings and we're missing some of the desserts that're locked behind other events and the skilltree. Now we've been grinding up for skill points, but we're actually gonna put these towards upgrading our dash ability and mitigating effects of low sleep, it's gonna really matter in the next -- chat, I already TOLD ya the romance skill tree's locked for a couple more plot points -- no, I'm not gonna use a speedrun strat to activate it before the cutscene!! -- chat, this isn't rigged, it's -- you're here at an 100% stream, you're gonna have t'wait -- all right, knuckleheads, I'll unlock the screaming sound for 2 minutes if ya wanna waste all your channel points on it, but I'm gonna keep makin' mac n cheese while you're doing that -- IT'S NOT RIGGED!
