I like The GIW’s place in the Danny phantom universe. Specifically because they’re one dimensional villains.  With the other ghost hunters that appear in the show, like Valerie or the Fentons, there exists the complex answers to the question of ‘how would they react to finding out that the creature they’ve been hunting down and have plans to torture is actually a human?’  Even worse a human that they personally care about. 

There are great stories to be made about that, but lets be honest we need at least ONE ghost hunting faction that won’t slow down upon discovering Danny’s secret.  If anything, they get more persistent at capturing him upon discovery.

The canon material mostly used them to poke fun at bureaucracy and what happens when an organization clearly doesn’t care WHO it hires so long as they tick the boxes.

But when the Phandom uses them for horror purposes, they’re really effectively scary.  We all know the evil that can come from people paid to just do a job and not think twice about the people affected by said job.

I’m glad that among the ghost hunters in the show, we’ve got something to fill that roll.

My favourite paralells between Lunter and Zutara part 2!

1. Both Katara and Luz have lost a parent they loved. The relationship with the second parent went bad after, but in the end, after a long separation, they met them and established their relationship

2. Both Katara and Luz liked the ideal warrior hero, who turned out to be an antagonist.

Both Zuko and Hunter ended up with strong asian girls who they had fewer chemistry with (still love Meiko tho)

3. Used to be enemies and fighted each other

Set in an alternative universe, Arturia is an aquatic adventurer who travels the seas to find treasure and bring it back to her people. A warrior at heart, she can wield a short sword, and her small size gives her extraordinary speed in the water. She uses this advantage to keep hunters away from her people, or to play a little prank on them in revenge for their attempt to capture her.

She doesn't use the talents attributed to representatives of her species, because in truth, she's not very talented and prefers to live isolated in her own underwater cave where she has very few visitors.

Arturia's clan lives in the North Sea, sharing the territory with different clans who don't mix too much with each other, except for mating season or simply to find a mate other than those of their clan members. But this is far from Arturia's priority, and she spends her time out at sea, venturing far out into the ocean to escape the austere life imposed on her by her older sister whenever they meet.

There are many clans with many different ways of life in the different seas. She's already ventured into the Mediterranean, where the place seems to be ruled by divinities who fight each other for territory. She's heard of clans on the other side of the Atlantic, some of whom are cannibals, but she's never dared venture into the inland seas where the clans who live there are very isolated and secretive.

A world full of mystery and knowledge, but Arturia has a certain attraction for humans and their way of life. But caution remains important, as the merfolk are above all the object of covetousness for the surface peoples.

(And merfolk appearance generally depends on clan and genetics).

Can you do one where the reader is Gabe's soulmate and they have a breakdown cause they were hiding all feelings, good and bad. Call Gabriel what you want. He can be manipulative or harmful to humans if he really wanted to. But one thing is for sure he'd never lay a hand on her or even put her in danger. He'll play all the practical jokes he wants on her brothers or send them to any univers, but when It comes to her no harm will come.

Gabe didn't know how to discribe it. When he first met her and her brothers were after him. Of course he was pissed but when he first saw you all anger seemed to dissolve. He didn't know why... Actually he did but he didn't want to admit it.

Arc-Angels are supposed to have Soulmates or they'll be assigned a person to watch over. Unfortunately God didn't trust Gabe to be a Garudian Angel so he was surprised when he felt the love sick feeling his whole body was feeling when he saw her kind eyes.

That day he voved to always protect her even if she never found out about his unconditional love he felt for the the hunter. He's all jokes and partying but when he promises something he keeps it. When the mystery spot becomes known to her and her brothers, Gabe made sure she didn't get sucked into the time loop Sam and Dean were in.

He knew how much y/n loved her brothers so while Dean was dying and sam was losing his mind y/n was completely clues. But she wasn't too clueless, she started slowly putting the pieces together and soon she had a dozen questions for the so called Trickster.

The third time she was sucked into TV land, but like he promised there was no harm to her. He would put y/n in the same reality as her favorite shows to impress her. But after the Winchesters Cracked the case once again she finally asked her unanswered questions while he stood in the holy fire.

“call I ask you something?” she asked after brothers left. His brooding face soften and he simply shrugged.

“Sure Sweetheart”

“Why us? Specifically why do you target my brothers but not me?” he stifled a laughed and put his hands in his pockets.

He weighed out his options. He could either tell her the truth and get rejected or he could lie and not only protect him but her. He also knew he was bad news and even dangerous. And even if he promised to always protect her its not safe for an Angel to be with a human.

“... Just wanted to see how it would play out” he lied right through his teeth. She slightly nodded with disappointment. She couldn't explain why she had a soft spot for the Trickster or she started to notice how handsome he was.

“see ya around Gabriel” she nodded putting outt the holy fire and walking to the impala. She never breathed a word to her brothers about the conversation she had with the Angel.

“GOOOOOD MOOORNING!” my alarm clocked shouted. I sat up suddenly and heard Gabriel's voice shouting through the speaker of my alarm. I sighed and tried to shut it off but his voice continued in a broadcasting voice.

“it's a beautiful day in Kansas with 80% chance of a vengeful spirit flying around, but don't worry the Winchesters are on the case... I'm your host T Rickster”

I sighed and ripped the corde out and tossed the alarm clock to the side. I sighed finally getting some quiet.

“that's not very nice Sweetheart” I jumped at the suddenness of his voice. I looked and he was leaning against the was of my room. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed. I opened the door of my room.

“if you don't mind” he rolled his eyes with a smirk and with a snap of his fingers he was gone.

This happened for months. I woke up to the sound of his voice everyday. And everyday turned into him coming to the bunker to heal whatever scratches or bumps I got from a hunt.

As the months went on we got closer. He always knew how to make me laugh or smile. I also noticed how pretty his wisky colored eyes were and how adorable his smile was. But the harder I fell for him the scared I got.

Then one drunk night I got something I never knew how badly I really needed it. Once his lips met mine it felt too good to be true... I guess it was. He started to distance himself for me. Is voice wasn't heard every morning and it slowly turned to maybe three days a week.

It hurt... I guess it wasn't all his fault do to the fact I was scared to tell him how I felt. Scared of what my brothers would do if they ever found out. After about a week of mopping(as Dean would put it) I admit it to Sam. I knew I could trust him and he didn't get angry like I knew Dean would.

“we can't help who we fall in love with” he told me.

After a particularly hard hunt I ignored my brother's worries and went to my room. As soon as my door closed I let out a sob. Everything seemed to be hitting me all at once. Every possible negative outcome happened tonight. I felt broken and tired, I felt even more pain when I realized Gabe didn't show up like he usually dose.

Dispite the pain I fell backwards on my bed and chocked down a sob. Feeling the acke in my back a rolled over to my side. As I moved I was face to face with Gabe's leather jacket that was just carelessly crumbled on a chair near my bed. It was right where he left it... Right before he started distaning himself from me.

I winced as I got up and wrapped myself in the jacket. The smell of his colone and what ever candy he ate invaded the my sences the closer I pulled the piece of clothing closer. I crawled back into bed trying to get some rest.

“you look like shit” a all too familiar voice said destroying the quiet. I quickly set up and saw gabe leaning against the wall with his head down.

“thanks” I grumbled and slowly set up. He sighed and walked up to me. He raised his hand getting ready to heal me. I slapped his hand away before he could.

Gabe gave me a sorrowful look and pulled his hand away. I looked down not wanting to meet his sad look. “I'm sorry” he said just above a whisper.

I scoffed then looked up at him. “What did I do wrong?” I asked him as tears pricked my eyes. He tilted his head like he didn't know what I was talking about. “you were my friend... Then you just disappeared... Was that kiss so awful?”

“What? No! No... T-that's...” he scoffed and shook his head as he became lost for words. “it's just... I'm not right for you... You need to start over and find someone who will treat you the way you deserve” he said quietly.

I gulped thinking of all the pros and cons of what I was about to say. I thought of the negative out come of it, but it's now or never I guess. “I gotta say, I'm not doing so great. I keep trying to start over, but I can't get anywhere because I'm lost”

He looked up at me and gave me a soft look as I continued. “I'm lost without you... Everyday I woke up to your voice and everyday I fell deeper and deeper for you” I said feeling my chest tighten.

Gabe gently pulled me into his arms. I was engulfed into the smell and touch I missed so much. I finally let the tears fall as hid my face in his chest. “I'm so sorry” he mumbled and kissed the top of my head as he held me closer.

“I love you... And it scares me” he confessed. I looked up at him with watery doe eyes. He softly smiled and placed his warm hand on my cheek. “but I don't plan on giving you up again”

He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my lips. It wasn't like our first drunken one. It was softer and longer. It felt like it was supposed to be our first. It felt like forever was in our favor.

Am I the only one who feels like the episode "Six is a Crowd" was such a missed opportunity for so many things?

For those who don't remember, "Six is a Crowd" gave us this glorious gif:

The episode involves Sonic, Sonia, and Manic going to an Alternative Universe where Robotnik is the leader of the Freedom Fighters while the triplets are evil dictators. (Sonic is a glutton, Manic is money-hungry, and Sonia likes throwing mobians into jail...)

We never see Aleena. I don't even remember her being mentioned. And don't get me started on how pissed I was with not seeing the Alternative, Freedom Fighters Sleet and Dingo in this episode. It was AlL I WANTED out of an episode like this.

So...this is what I would have done with this episode if I could change it.

First off, the Royal Trio's role as the heroes trying to save Mobius would be replaced with the Robotnik trio. This would mean Dingo, Sleet, and Bartleby take the place of Sonic, Manic, and Sonia. (And yes. I am saying Dingo would be the leader of the group). They are searching to find Robotnik, the leader of the Freedom Fighters, to help overthrow the young tyrants ruining Mobius, Sonic, Sonia, and Manic, all while keeping the spirits of the mobians high with jazzy music.

Dingo's the most level-headed of the group, similar to Sonic, but tends to take on more than what he can handle. He also handles the drums (a different kind from Manic's drums). Sleet has street smarts and trusts issues like Manic, always snatching things he feels are needed...or that he feels they (the mobian he'd be stealing from) Shouldn't have. He plays the Double Bass. Bartleby is the one with the highest status but became wanted for crimes he couldn't control, like Sonia, being the one who's able to communicate the easiest with other mobians but has some...issues with adjusting at times. He plays the PianoSAXOPHONE!

So, when OUR triplets arrive in this universe, they are very stunned to see the Buried Hunters finishing a show hidden in a small, back alley within Mobotroplis, and even more shocked to see it being Sleet, Dingo, and Bartleby were the ones playing.

The two groups meet up and some shenanigans happen. Manic and Sleet bond over a shared interest in stealing shit and making the other members of their group have to pull them out of trouble because of it, while Bartleby and Sonia have a strange bond over their childhood friend ending up doing some really bad things. Sonic and Dingo bond over having to step up as leaders when they felt they weren't meant for it.

It'd give us the only episode where the triplets aren't the lead singers, but the "Buried Hunters" instead giving us the song. (I just want an episode where Sleet sings, damn it).

The Royal trio ends up meeting Robotnik, who reveals that, in this universe, he is the leader of the Royal Guard. We'd also learn that, apparently, Sleet and Dingo were very close friends with Bartleby. He then tells them why he hadn't reunited with the Robotnik trio, as all four of them still had to finish through their own paths, but that he felt unsure that they would even accept him back into their lives due to all the damage he had done, not warning the Queen about how poorly she was raising her children could cause issues down the line, blaming himself for the downfall of Mobius. He parallels Aleena and is foreshadowing a reason why Aleena hasn't reunited with them yet.

The Royal trio reassures Robotnik that the Robotnik trio are still fighting BECAUSE they believed in him and that they were trying their hardest to reunite with him, realizing that it may be the same with them and Aleena. With that, they are sent back to their own Universe with the notion that Robotnik is planning to reunite with the Robotnik trio and thanks the Royal trio for helping regain his confidence.

We wouldn't get the same ending we did in the original episode, as the Royal trio were only sent there to learn some simple lesson. They are left wondering how THAT Universe can restore peace to Mobius if they even can, similar to how we wonder if THIS Universe can be restored. The Oracle asks if they believed in the Buried Hunters and Robotnik to do the right thing, which then turns to him asking if they believed in themselves and Aleena to do the right thing when it came to it.

BOOM!

Better lesson than the actual episode...I don't even remember what it was. It could let us see a bit into the villains of the universe in another light, the trio can learn a bit from their journey, giving us some foreshadowing in specific places. Like how the trio would eventually reunite with their mother. WHY she's been avoiding them for so long, teaching the trio that they should do the right thing.

Test : Dragon's Dogma 2

Suite du premier opus sorti en 2012 sur PS3, Xbox 360 et PC c'est 10 ans après donc que Capcom nous propose une suite. Dragon's Dogma premier du nom apportait son lot de fraîcheur dans le domaine du RPG et avait su se démarquer et fédérer une communauté. Que vaut donc cet action RPG d'Héroïc Fantasy et à qui peut-il bien s'adresser?

Un insurgé et un dragon

Vous êtes l'insurgé, un personnage que vous créez de toutes pièces via un éditeur plutôt complet et qui va au cours d'une bataille se faire manger le cœur par un gros dragon. Vous ne mourrez pas mais deviendrez l'insurgé, ce qui vous donne un statut spécial et vous permet de recruter des pions pour à votre tour vaincre le dragon et récupérer votre cœur. On reprend donc le même plot que le premier opus mais dans un univers différent cette fois-ci.

Un jeu à gameplay

Honnêtement le titre ne brille pas par son scénario, Capcom tente de monter des conflits politiques avec un faux insurgé mais même avec la meilleure volonté j'ai eu du mal à suivre et à saisir toute l'histoire tellement ça part dans tout les sens. On en oublie certains personnages et parfois on sent même que le scénario a été coupé.

D'ailleurs les quêtes restent classiques et demandent bien souvent d'aller chercher des objets ou de tuer des ennemis. Cependant, le titre a le mérite de ne pas prendre le joueur par la main pour la résolution de ces dernières. D'ailleurs pour les trouver non plus car c'est à vous de bien fouiller pour les activer.

En effet, Dragon's Dogma 2 prône l'aventure et l'exploration, on est à l'inverse des jeux actuels qui nous prennent constamment par la main. Il est d'ailleurs possible d'échouer certaines quêtes ou de les résoudre de plusieurs façons.

Alors pour l'instant je ne vous donne pas trop envie je pense mais comme le sous titre l'indique le vrai bonheur de cet action RPG vient de ces joutes et de son environnement à explorer. Plusieurs classes donc que vous débloquerez progressivement et dont vous pourrez changer à loisir par la suite en parlant avec un pnj en ville.

Aucune statistique à gérer tout est automatisé pour que le joueur puisse profiter rapidement de chaque classe. Vous pourrez tout de même échanger des points de compétences contre de nouveaux coups et quelques habilités mais le titre reste simple pour switcher facilement de classe et en profiter rapidement.

En combat vous pourrez vous battre à l'épée, à l'arc, devenir magicien ou encore utiliser des classes plus hybrides comme l'archer mage. L'important sera de gérer votre endurance qui vous permet de courir mais aussi d'utiliser vos attaques spéciales. On est sur des combats se rapprochant de "Monster Hunter" où une bonne connaissance de votre ennemi vous aidera grandement. L'environnement est très important car vous pourrez aussi faire chuter vos ennemis et les diriger vers des pièges naturels.

En début de partie en plus de votre insurgé vous créerez votre pion qui vous épaulera tout au long de l'aventure et qui aura aussi la possibilité de changer de classe. Il n'est pas jouable et c'est tout l'intérêt du titre car il apprendra à vos côtés. Il saura mieux affronter les différents types d'ennemis à mesure de ses voyages et connaîtra aussi le chemin pour résoudre certaines quêtes lorsque vous les terminerez.

Les combats se passent à quatre et il vous faudra donc impérativement recruter deux autres pions appartenant donc obligatoirement à d'autres joueurs via la faille. Un portail permettant donc de recruter des pions selon plusieurs critères, cependant les pions engagés ne monteront jamais de niveaux en votre compagnie.

Seul vous et votre pion pouvez être upgradé. Encore une bonne idée car cela force le joueur à changer régulièrement ses pions et couper la monotonie du voyage. D'ailleurs les pions des autres joueurs pourront vous aider pour résoudre une quête si ils l'ont déjà faite avec leur insurgé. Il faut donc bien équilibrer son groupe pour faire face à toutes les situations.

Un monde à explorer

L'exploration est de mise, les voyages rapides existent mais demandent des ressources pour forcer le joueur à se balader. Encore un très bon point car le level design global est excellent et incite à se perdre en chemin pour visiter et trouver des donjons menant à des récompenses. Il faut aussi préparer correctement vos voyages car au fur et à mesure des combats votre niveau de vie récupérable diminuera et demandera donc de faire une pause autour d'un feu pour manger et dormir. Encore faut-il bien nettoyer la zone sous peine d'être attaqué en pleine nuit.

D'ailleurs les nuits sont très sombres et votre lanterne n'éclaire pas très loin, en rajoutant des ennemis en grand nombre ainsi que des combats exigeants mieux vaut être prudent. Il faut bien préparer son équipe et ses trajets pour faire face aux évènements. Vous tomberez régulièrement sur des ennemis plus volumineux possédant plusieurs barres de vies et il n'est pas rare que de plus petits ennemis s'incrustent à la fête.

La difficulté vient aussi du fait que les animations sont détaillées comme dans "Monster Hunter", de ce fait vous pouvez comboter les ennemis mais eux aussi le peuvent et parfois la situation peut vite mal tourner. Vous trouverez aussi de l'aide sur les routes, des soldats ou des pions déjà au prise avec l'ennemi et qui de ce fait vous aideront.

Hormis un new game plus très peu intéressant et un post game bien pensé mais frustrant il vous faudra entre vingt et vingt cinq heures pour en voir le bout. Court pour le genre et c'est vrai que le premier opus avait un bestiaire plus varié tout en proposant un plus gros contenu. Nul doute que comme son prédécesseur une extension arrivera et bonifiera cet aspect.

Petite aparté nécessaire car contrairement à ce que les influenceurs ont pu dire de ce Dragon's Dogma 2, il sait très bien qu'il est le second opus mais pour le découvrir encore faut-il aller au bout du titre. Preuve s'il en est et on se demande d'ailleurs si Capcom ne l'a pas fait exprès en inscrivant uniquement "Dragon's Dogma" au lancement du jeu. Il y a bien une explication à ceci mais je n'en dirait pas plus.

Une technique en dent de scie

Un bref mot sur l'aspect technique du titre qui n'est pas sans défaut. Le jeu tourne à 30 FPS et ce avec peine, surtout en ville. Cependant, je n'ai pas été gêné par le framerate, cela dépend bien sûr du joueur. Il y a beaucoup de PNJ's, de monstres de grandes tailles et un décor qui peut évoluer (éboulements, ponts qui se brisent, etc...) en combat.

J'arrive à comprendre que le RE Engine peine et d'ailleurs il n'est pas pensé à l'origine pour des zones si vastes. Autant je n'ai pas été gêné, autant je peux comprendre que cela sorte certains joueurs de l'expérience proposée. Les éclairages sont eux très réussis et apporte une vraie profondeur aux paysages.

Conclusion : 9/10

Un titre à ne pas mettre entre toutes les mains, exigeant, old-school dans son game design et son gameplay il n'en propose pas moins une expérience très originale en 2024 pour qui saura l'apprivoiser. Avec un plus gros contenu et un scénario plus abouti le titre de Capcom aurait été au top.

Malgré des défauts évidents et une technique loin d'être parfaite c'est un titre qui m'a vraiment marqué, l'expérience proposée et le gameplay très particulier font de Dragon's Dogma 1 et 2 une série unique.

How do you create an OC? What are your steps for developing an OC?

When I create original characters, I don't always start with the same steps each time. The first thing I do though, is get inspired. Just about anything these days will give me oc inspiration. But here I will list a few things:

Playing the Sims 4. - I might hop into create a sim and create a character and then decide - hey this could be a great idea for an oc. Now, have I ever made an oc based off of one of my sims? Not yet. But I have created my ocs in the sims for fun.

Scrolling through Pinterest. - Pinterest is a great place to find faceclaims on - especially for characters in anime. Sometimes I'll be scrolling through there and find a faceclaim that I want to use for an oc. Then I decide to start working on their biograpghy.

Looking through the gif tags on tumblr. - This falls into the same vein as the Pinterest one. I look through the tags, find a faceclaim and then boom, I want to use their faceclaim for a new oc.

Watching television shows / movies. - Sometimes watching tv is all it will take for me to get oc inspiration. I'll get obsessed with a show and then want to make an original character in that fandom.

Looking on Feralfront. - My old roleplay stomping grounds. Sometimes I go there to look up info on my old ocs. I may take bits of information from a previous oc of mine and add it to a new one I'm creating.

Seeing a Pretty name. - Sometimes I'll see or hear a pretty name and my brain goes, I must use them as a name for an oc.

The rest of this is going under a read more, because it was getting very long and I didn't want people on my dash to have to scroll past this long post.

Next, usually comes the biography. And this is where I really have to think about how I want my oc to be. Depending on the fandom they're in or the faceclaim they have or even their name can depend on the type of character I'm trying to create.

For example : if my character is in the Supernatural fandom, they'll probably be a badass hunter type of character. But if they're in Criminal Minds, they might be a smart scientist. Some characters though, might be completely fandomless, in which case the above doesn't apply to them.

Next, while working on the biography I'll need to find a faceclaim for my character and give them a name, if I have not done either of these things already.

Usually when it comes to me writing characters, I like to flesh them out a lot. So when I start with their biography usually I'll list all of the basics : Full Name, Nicknames and any aliases. Their age, astrological sign, birthday, gender, pronouns, and sexual orientation. Where they grew up and where they currently live. As well as where they were born. A written description of their appearance.

And then we get to the personality. What traits does my character have? Both positive and negative. Then what things do they like and dislike? Along with hobbies and any jobs they've had. As well as their mental and physical health.

Then comes the backstory. Coming up with the backstory can take a while if you don't know where to start. After that, I usually write information about their family and pets. And if they're a supernatural being, I have a section for that too with what species they are. And what powers and abilities they might have.

Now, you don't have to go as detailed as I do. Their name, age, gender, sexual orientation, personality, and backstory is really all a person needs before they start writing as their oc. But I like to really flesh out my characters.

Sometimes, there may even be sections on my biographies I leave blank, because I want to flesh the character out more with writing. And sometimes the best way to develop your character is to just start writing them with others. Depending on the situation your character is in, it can impact how they develop over time.

Next would come the alternate universes, granted you want your character to have them. If there are different fandoms you want your character to be able to fit into easily, sometimes alternate universes can be useful. Or if you want to explore different events in your character's life, you can create verses for that too.

And once that is done, you have your own oc! I hope this was helpful for you or anyone else on my dash. Each person comes up with their ocs differently. But generally, if you're going to have an oc, you should give them a biography, so people can learn about your character before diving head in.

Hi there!

So, I got obsessed with monster hunter (stories) again and found this doodle I’ve done : Mily singing a lullaby Ratha (before he gets his wings) and his unborn little sister Rathy (a razewing rathian with pink feathery wings). This is around the time before they leave Rutoh to go to Kuan, after the young Rathalos is old enough to travel and defend himself.

As you can see here, Mily has several scars (depending on the world she’s in, the scars she got in that world can appear on her shapeshifting skin. These are marks of her past adventures in each universe she goes into. Orion posses this same ability) : one on her nose after a wild velociprey scratched her the moment she arrived and one on her shoulder she got from the rage-rayed Anjanath she fought in Hakolo island.

I’ll post of Orion in the world of Monster hunter as well!

Salut !

Alors, mon obsession pour monster hunter (stories) a refait surface et j’ai retrouvé ce petit dessin : Mily chantant une berceuse à Ratha (avant qu’il n’ait ses ailes) et à sa petite sœur Rathy (une « Rathian destructrice » la traduction française est vraiment affreuse 😂😂 aux ailes plumées roses). C’est un peu avant qu’ils ne quittent Rutoh pour se rendre à Kuan, une fois que le jeune Rathalos fut assez grand pour voyager et se défendre.

Comme vous pouvez le voir Mily à plusieurs cicatrices (dépendant du monde dans lequel elle ce trouve, ces dernières qu’elle a eut dans ce monde en particulier peut apparaîtrent sur sa peau de métamorphe. Ce sont des marques de ses anciennes aventures dans chaque s univers où elle c’est rendue. Orion a aussi cette capacité.) : une sur son née à cause d’un Velociprey sauvage qui l’a griffé quand elle est arrivée et deux sur son épaule après son combat contre l’Anjanath affecté par les rayons rouges sur l’île d’Hakolo.

Mmmmmaybr Vash was chosen to work as Archivist . Eye didn’t really take to him nor did he end up taking to the eye that much after all, and it turned its gaze into Milly and Meryl as vasolation got it’s mittens on vash instead. Wolfwood is still buried (SNORT. sniff. cough. sobs). Elias gets wind of the archivist situation and ???? for a bit before wondering how two simultaneously active archivists will work out. Vash still does his job but tbh the gang just Knows it’s not goin

Thank you for all these asks, they really got me thinking!

Zofie alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there's no one around to see them? She prefers working alone so she can utterly focus on her mission, so she has no problem with solitude. When she is feeling lonely, missing the company of people who cares about or trusts, she focuses on her hobbies which tend to zone her mind into focusing on just that, whether it be silversmithing or reading. When she alone and relaxed, she's been known to dance around to her favourite music!

break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest? When her PTSD kicks in and reminds her of the attack. I wont give too much away but it involved fire. The fact is so far she's kept a lid on her ptsd, hiding away the way her body goes ice cold and she feels paralysed when she sees infernos on films or tv shows where the protagonist looks trapped (she's fine with say a lit fireplace, or makeshift fire in a barrel). No one has yet seen her react badly...yet.

ghost: Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts? Every single person she's assassinated she speaks to their 'spirits' before they die. A unique trait of anyone with some ISU DNA is their ability to do that. Even with her body augmented as it is, she still retains that, though luckily they dont haunt her beyond it and she has never felt once that she killed the wrong person. Someone who haunts her though is the hunter who attacked her. They taunt her from a distance, like changing their hair to resemble Zofie's so that someone might mistake them for her. Kiara

bound: Has your OC ever been imprisoned or captured? What happened? How did they get out? Did the experience leave any scars? So far she has escaped capture, but that probably wont last, not with a certain Overseer obsessive about her.

future: What's the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it's a possibility? Being caught by the Abbey and tortured. She's moved across the great ocean to another land to get away from them and training to avoid ever being detected by them. But if she ever goes back to Dunwall, there is always a chance.

heartbreak: Have they ever had a relationship that ended badly? Experienced some other kind of heartbreak? What happened? Her young teen sweetheart Dylan. She thought she could confide in him about the Shrine she found in a cliffside cave in Caulkenny, but he was too fearful and told people about it, but not who told him about it. It caused the Abbey to think he was a heretical and take him from his family, causing them to die in the process. She felt betrayed by him not keeping her secret, but never wished harm to come to him or his family. Her family knew the Abbey wouldn't stop looking though and had to flee Caulkenny in case their eyes fell on them too.

hate: What does your OC hate? Why? How do they act towards the object of their hatred? She hates the Hunter with a passion. In every universe she has encountered him, he's always been the same. He murdered her soulmate Sam for no reason other than he could and she makes him pay in every universe. A close second to him was the Crimson Fleet in her original universe, though since then she has come across variations she is more sympathetic too. In her original universe she took great pleasure in wiping them out, but now, she's willing to work with the better versions if it helps her goals.

fear: What is your OC's greatest fear? What do they do when confronted with it? Are they open with their fear, or do they hide it away? Never finding a universe that feels like home. That no matter which universe she goes too, being Starborn will always get in the way of her getting into a relationship with another Sam. She has yet to be confronted by the idea as she jumps universes, knowing she could keep doing it indefinitely if she chose to. Perhaps that is her way of hiding from it.

mask: Does your OC wear a mask, literally or figuratively? What goes on beneath it? Is there anyone in their life who gets to see who they are under the mask? She wears a new mask each time she jumps into a new universe, as she figures out what she has jumped into. Whether that is to play the concussed miner or specialist operative with a strange spacesuit, she does what she needs to do to get information and survive those first few hours of life in a new universe. She is always calculating and thinking ahead, something she learnt when she was in hiding in her original universe.
