WHICH not to be ungrateful like obviously I still appreciate #anyone who follows and interacts with my posts. I dont mean it in a 'grrr fuck all of you imbeciles I wish I could delete my blog!!!' or #whatever hhjkjk.. I just mean it more in a like.. I am very socially inept and my mental illness gives me severe social issues so any situ #tion where I'm expected to self promote or network or interact with others generally is nightmarish and stressful for many many reasons #and if I could somehow skip that part and just go straight to being a famous author or somethin.. that would be cool. Which I know EVERYONE #hates networking and stuff but I mean like.. on a level most people could not possibly comprehend.. I am not just an 'introvert'. I am like #doctors declare me incapable of functioning in general society very poor mental health prognosis probably should have a caretaker at #some point type Hermit lol.. ANYWAY ghbhj... alas.. I also feel weird about the sculptures in terms of what to charge for them #and always have which is part of why I stopped selling them. If I charged a fair even like $15 an hour many of them would be like #close to $150+. and nobody is going to pay that for a decoration. that doesn't even factor in like.. supplies or time spent communicating/s #etching the concept (if a commission) etc. etc. I thought it'd be better to just auction them then and let people pay what they want inst #d of a set price but etsy doesnt allow auctions and is it weird to just.. link people to an Art Ebay or something lol..#AAAANYWAY.. the outfit.. I still love these shoes. they're nice and a little Older Style looking. always into pastel florals too lol #(everything is thrifted as usual. excited about the shirt because it's so puffy! it was in the halloween section though ghjhj.. like when i #s october and they make the special aisle in goodwill for 'Costume' clothes even though theyre all just normal stuff I would wear ghg)

in light of the us election...I'm trying to get a job in scotland (or anywhere in the uk/ireland) and hope to stay there for a couple years at least (if you catch my drift) and if anyone has advice on getting a job in the book publishing industry, or if anyone has experience in that field over there, please let me know. I'm getting my postgraduate degree in Creative Writing and English in the spring and was looking at HarperCollins Glascow, though I would accept any book publishing company (big or small) at this point 🙏🙏🙏

i do not get this culture of flying comparably short distances. yes it might be more convenient or whatever but you're ruining the environment and a much more fun and sustainable option is staring you right in the face

#TAKE A BLOODY TRAIN #this is a probably a very european thing but like. there's literally a tunnel under the english channel for that purpose #it chucks you out after 2 hours in paris/brussels/amsterdam and instead of clouds you actually get to see countryside #and then you can take speedy trains to other places in europe #yes it takes more time than a plane but COME ON #we're so used to getting places fast that we've forgotten that for millenia getting anywhere took ages #enjoy yourself #have fun #explore a little in between connections #i get the use of planes if you're going from say the uk to japan bc that's a long distance #but if you're flying from bristol to berlin there's high quality train connections that can get you there instead #and they get cheaper if you book them early #4 trains. 4 trains and you're there #just...please consider using them #they're worth it i know they're scary but they're really worth it #and you're saving the planet each time you use them (and sticking it to oil companies too)#anyway this was vetty's rant about planes and trains #vetty talks

You can just about see me in the Glasgow Slog! My friend always brings her Italian flag with her so this time I was easy to spot as I was right next to her! The third pic wasn't from the slog, but Ryan sent it to me a few days after the concert!💜

i really do feel like its impressive of me to have not made any friends at all at university. its been two years

#everyones like 'ouhhh just put yourself out there' EVERY TIME I DO THAT I JUST FREAK PEOPLE OUT....#like whenever i make a genuine effort there is just something about me that is offputting and weird and people do not respond well to it #its weird cause ive been able to make friends with people in different circumstances. but people herejust seem so weird and cold and distan #and i cant connect with them. it was like that at my old university in the us too so its not even a us/uk thing #like i remember once i was helping my department librarys people move some books. and there were like 3 other people there . i kept making #like little jokes to try and lighten the mood cause everyone was just silent? and like. nobody seemed to get it or laugh? i could just be #not funny but ... i mean thatd be part of my problem. but it felt so weird and bad #like. im trying here can someone please god just meet me in the middle....

people've been predicting wars over resources re: climate change and human intervention. the responses of the US to Israel and Yemen send a clear message: they will kill anyone and everyone to keep their economy afloat
