You can just about see me in the Glasgow Slog! My friend always brings her Italian flag with her so this time I was easy to spot as I was right next to her! The third pic wasn't from the slog, but Ryan sent it to me a few days after the concert!💜

I like how the coloring on the Slig came out. I'll post the fully completed drawing later.

Oddworldtober prompt 5 - giant slog
My first Oddworldtober entry. Doing some of them out of order and probably won’t get around to all of them since University stuff is taking up a lot of my free time. I still wanted to do some of them and managed to get this one out.
I know Oddworld Inhabits were thinking people would go for a giant Kaiju sized slog, (which some did, and those are awesome) but I felt like this prompt gave me a good excuse to explore the idea of a larger, wild ancestor to the domesticated slog. Since slogs are obviously ment to be a parallel to earth dogs, I always wondered if they had a similar evolutionary history. Possibly being social carnivores that were domesticated by a more intelligent species and genetically bred to serve all kinds of jobs and roles to the point of becoming radically different to their wild ancestors. So I loved the idea of what the slog equivalent of a wolf would look like.
These slog ancestors had longer snouts, an overall more slender appearance then their modern descendants and were much larger. Being just taller then the average Slig equipped with metal pants. Some early accounts of Mudokon tribes even tell of wild slogs as tall as 7 feet. These claims are highly disputed by most natural historians in industrial society. These large Slog ancestors were likely hunted down and made extinct a long time ago and the few survivors were tamed. Their descendants were selectively bred and eventually became the Small, hyper aggressive guard pets of Sligs and other industrial societies we know today.

I'm barely to the massacre and I can already tell I'm going to be screaming at every this-makes-no-sense decision made by the writers (your temple is under violent attack, and you evacuate the kids... to a barely enclosed corner in a prominent temple room? Instead of to the hundreds of sky bison that were highlighted as flying in earlier? Why?) (And Aang left to clear his head and think instead of to run from his duties? That's such a less compelling plot arc?) (And the show had him briefly monologue about being a goofy kid who loves pies and his friends instead of using the extended temple scene to show any of that? Didn't want to pay more child actors, did you, Netflix?)
Yeah I'm just. Going to be screaming at the screen instead of enjoying this. Different decisions aren't necessarily bad, but when those decisions seem to be in the direction of "show a man burning alive before we even get to the on-screen massacre" this is just... not the show for me.

The disclosure of the origin of Arlen Glass, that really touched me. Recently found quite by chance during the map cleaning.
