I'm barely to the massacre and I can already tell I'm going to be screaming at every this-makes-no-sense decision made by the writers (your temple is under violent attack, and you evacuate the kids... to a barely enclosed corner in a prominent temple room? Instead of to the hundreds of sky bison that were highlighted as flying in earlier? Why?) (And Aang left to clear his head and think instead of to run from his duties? That's such a less compelling plot arc?) (And the show had him briefly monologue about being a goofy kid who loves pies and his friends instead of using the extended temple scene to show any of that? Didn't want to pay more child actors, did you, Netflix?)

Yeah I'm just. Going to be screaming at the screen instead of enjoying this. Different decisions aren't necessarily bad, but when those decisions seem to be in the direction of "show a man burning alive before we even get to the on-screen massacre" this is just... not the show for me.

sometimes I hyper-fixate on a project and have to just ride that wave until it’s over. that’s what let me write the Sir Cameron book in a month! this chapbook has a deadline though, because I’m going to present it to my literary agent in a zoom call on thursday, so AFTER THAT I will get back to my ghoul book 😤

Hello! I wonder if it's okay to make fan merch of Mychael?

Since I plan on making my own soon, I only allow it for personal use but don't allow it for commercial/selling purposes!

To clarify since the question was vague, I'm perfectly okay with people making their own keychain or standee to keep for themselves, meaning no profit was made.

However, I'm not okay with people selling merch of my games in their online or offline shops. Please respect my decision and not make any to sell online or at cons, etc; since I've received another ask about it so far!

Extra info below for people interested:

So this is where I ramble a little about the merch plans I have.

First off, I still have moving shenanigans to deal with, plus an upcoming birthday for a loved one, plus drawing art I owe for my Patreons, then I'll be able to start working on the merch designs.

I'll be making prototypes first to ensure quality (which will possibly take another week or so) before opening pre-orders, then I'll be able to post the catalogue in the shop! I'm planning to do wood charms, acrylic standees and keychains, badges, sticker sheets; I've been pent up for this side project for sure haha.

Also,,, I have some Glamrock stickers and DCA double-sided keychains I wasn't able to sell for a con since they arrived LATE so I'll probably add them onto the shop too!

I feel like I should state now that since I'm not in the US where I assume most players are from, shipping might be a little pricey, but I'll do more research on a cost friendly alternative!

yall ever think Shen Yuan went through like, internet withdrawal after being transmigrated into Shen Qingqiu? Like, he's canonically a NEET shut-in who did nothing but spend his time online, you can't tell me that for the first week or first few weeks of being SQQ he wasn't twitchy.

Like, reaching instinctively to his pockets for a phone that wasn't there, having an obsessive itch in the back of his mind that he should check and see if X or Y novel or webcomic has updated -- only to realize he can't anymore and being irritated by it. Wanting to go and see if there's new posts about this or that, but again realizing that he can't.

When he's bored or uncomfortable or just feels like wanting to escape he tries to go for his phone to distract himself, but oops! Not there anymore, and now he has to find a new and different way to distract himself from his feelings. And going through system notifications, quests, etc only does so much.

And there's that Tetris Effect too. SQQ makes a mistake while writing and instinctively goes to backspace on it except hey-ho that's not a keyboard and now he just dipped his pinkie into a bottle of ink or on a still-drying letter.

With him scrambling to fix his reputation and learn how to be a peak lord, I think his abrupt cold-turkey from all things internet would just be another straw on the camel's back that he promptly Ignores until it goes away on its own after he acclimates to his new surroundings.
