Help a trans girl pay for HRT and monthly expenses

I've made a few posts like this asking for tips on my Ko-fi to help with rent and other expenses, and that's still something I need help with as I look for work opportunities. I'm also starting on HRT, and need money to refill that every few months. It runs me roughly $100 each supply, and I want to stockpile if I can. in an ideal world diy wouldn't be necessary. but surprise: we don't live in a perfect world.

Little late on this prob but i'm gonna throw my hat in on the DIY HRT shit.

if i weren't able to DIY at the start of my transition, i wouldn't be here. there was an 18 month wait list when i called to schedule my intake appointment, and i was at a point where i could feel every second ticking by, and here i was being told that it would be a year and a half before i could even start on HRT. i told them to put me on the list, and then i immediately turned around and started looking for where to buy grey market. i won't list my sources (bc last i checked they were all down) but within 2 weeks i had 2 months' worth of HRT in my hands and for the first time in years i felt like i could breathe. as soon as i could afford to, i stocked up on more, about 8 months' worth if i remember, and i savored every single pill.

the wait ended up not being as long as i was told, and in just 6 of the initial 18 months had gone by when i went in for my intake appointment. i got my scrips no problem and have been getting them the "legit" way for the last 4 years.

i'll say it again, if it weren't for DIYing, i would not be here, i would not be alive, and i know there are thousands of other people in a similar place. DIY your HRT if you have to, just be smart and safe about it. and for the love of god do not listen to anything /tttt/ says on the matter

I wish there was more sides to talking about DIY HRT other than

"DIY is the easiest thing on earth and if you can't do it you're a lazy disgusting piece of shit who hates me personally"

Or

"DIY is the most fatal thing on earth if you do it you'll be arrested immediately and will inject unknown drugs into yourself that WILL kill you after the arrest"

Because both are just the most extreme awful fucking sides of this whole discussion. Why can't y'all be normal and have nuance please.

This is a message for american trans people in particular: If you haven't already learn how to DIY HRT, there are plenty of resources/guides online as well as suppliers. Learn to DIY and get yourself a stockpile of HRT and help others who want to know.
