Drivers leaving home at a young age to pursue karting then ultimately F1 and some of them (esp non-European drivers) don't get to travel with parents or guardians- it's an accepted fact of motorsport. But then I remember that interview where Daniel said he was 17 and a million miles away from home and all he had was a copy of The Castle, an Australian movie, and he'd watch it incessantly beacuse he was afraid of losing his accent and there was no one around to talk to... reminds me of that one James Agee quote about clinging to home because in the absence of home the vastness of the world might mean we don't exist at all

Further context: Seawatt and EMF have somehow become such dads to Boey and I’m living for it. Seawatt is the dad that didn’t want the cat and they are now inseparable. I refuse to hear out any disagreements

A Master post of every npc that talks in Scala, i believe they only change between Day and Night, and a new update added other players as npc's in your Scala that when spoken too with show you their player card

If you can see my ui that means the text shows up on proximity to the npcs vs the ones you have to actively click on to see their dialogue

You have no idea how hard i tried to get a screenie with the cafe worker in it but the camera refused, (bonus zoom in on that jacket insignia we went insane over last year)

2024 Art Summary ✨

Its been a heck of a year year for our favorite little 4 foot detective c: Most of it not all of the art pieces I've done 2024 involve him. So this was the year of Yuma for my art :3

I'm honestly so surprised that I drew the entire year... (last time I did one of these was back in high-school drawing OCs) I never thought my art would come this far. (tho its still not perfect but that's okay) My first art I made of Yuma and Makoto was just a little fun test or experiment, but I had no idea my art would actually gain an audience and be well known by the fandom. And Yuma is just such a joy to draw, whether I'm targeting him for illness whump or not. He truly is such a gift.

Honestly I want to thank all of you for being so supportive, I never would've gotten the confidence to come this far. Having met such a supportive best friend to do projects with and all of you enjoying my work really helped me to grow with my art and kept my fixation going. I've never drawn this much fanart for any fandom in my life...but now I have more than 100 pieces I've done, and its all thanks to Rain Code and all of you in the fandom c:
