Forever Brothers

He thought that he loved his brothers and country, and that he was a human being with style and taste. Although he was rebellious on the outside, he was deeply religious in his heart.
However, when the scouts of the Interstellar Federation Army = alien coalition appeared, everything he knew changed.
His eyes glow green, which means that he is not a human, but a member of the aliens, a sleeper agent sent to Earth by the Federation Army. He instinctively relied on telepathy to convey all the information he knew about the earth to his superiors, and recalled all the memories of being an alien. At the same time, he knew that the number of agents was so large that humans had no chance of winning.
Humanity must be eliminated for the future of the earth. This is an order from the highest level.
He knew that his loyalty must be to the Interstellar Federation, that his faith must be to his home planet, and that his attire must be that of his tribe: naked and oiled or entirely covered in latex or rubber. But he couldn't abandon his brother.
He made a decision, took off his clothes, oiled himself, put on a rubber jacket and trousers of the same style, and went to their brothers' base to identify himself to everyone.
His brothers were so surprised that they began to argue with each other about whether he was still one of their own. He was a little sad, but without hesitation, he used his alien superpowers to knock out the brothers and take them back to his spaceship.
When his brothers woke up, they found themselves different. The costume is similar to the original but made of rubber. The movement was a little stiff at first but soon became smoother. Suddenly, their eyes glow red and an unheard but understandable language sounds in their heads.

"You are no longer human beings, but cyborg warriors of the Interstellar Federation. You will serve the Interstellar Federation and obey the orders of your master forever."

There was a sharp pain in their heads, and all their feelings for the earth disappeared instantly, replaced by love for the "mother planet" and complete obedience to the "Master". The "Master" appeared in front of them, it was the brother with green eyes. They saluted him immediately.

"I want to say I'm sorry, but this is the only way you can survive. Although I am your commander officially, we are still brothers in private, is it clear?"
"Sir, yes, sir!"

"Forgot to mention this is a private place."
They were all relaxed, fist-bumping, joking with each other, just like normal except for their eyes glowing, a bromance that would last forever.

A few days later, they appeared in different places, their invasion plans and destruction goals already imprinted on their electronic brains. They will seize this planet that has been ruined by humans for their home planet.

i buy the top ramen soy sauce flavor in bulk. And i have a squeezy tube of ginger, ill eyeball like a tbsp of that and add two dashes of tapatio/hot sauce, maybe a spoonful of pre-minced garlic. then ill add some random cubes of tofu. you dont need to cook it any other way than the instructions and it adds way more sustanance. vegan too

Another entry for soup season! This Italian Chik'n Pastina soup is based on what I remember of my grandma's cooking. Those fall and winter days where I'd get presented with a bowl of chicken soup with these delightful little pastina noodles in it. She'd always sprinkle some pecorino romano cheese in, which I used white miso paste to replicate the flavor of. There are 34 grams of protein per serving, and tons of fresh herbs and veggies for a nutrition powerhouse!

Tonight’s rice noodle salad is the perfect dinner for a hot summer day. The vegan meatballs are baked before being tossed in the glaze leaving minimal time standing over a hot stove.

Hibachi Style Japanese Fried Rice with Smoky Baked Tofu
Ingredients
For the Smoky Baked Tofu
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
7 ounces extra firm tofu, (half of a 14-ounce package) drained, pressed, and cut into ½ inch cubes
For the Japanese Fried Rice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sake (optional, but highly recommended for flavor)
½ teaspoon white pepper
2 tablespoons vegan butter
1 small onion, cut in half, then thinly sliced
1 large carrot, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 cups leftover cooked rice, chilled
½ cup frozen peas, thawed
2 scallions, chopped
Instructions
Make the Smoky Tofu
Stir the soy sauce, maple syrup, and liquid smoke together in a shallow dish. Add the diced tofu and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (Note 1).
Preheat the oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the tofu cubes on the baking sheet and bake the tofu for about 20 minutes, until they've shrunk and darkened a bit.
Leave the tofu on the baking sheet to cool while you prepare the fried rice.
Make the Japanese Fried Rice
Stir the soy sauce, sake, and white pepper together in a small bowl.
Melt the butter in a large wok over medium-high heat (Note 2). Once the butter has completely melted, add the sliced onion. Stir-fry the onion for about 4 minutes, until it has softened up and is starting to brown in spots.
Add the diced carrot to the wok. Stir-fry the carrot and onion for about 2 minutes, until the carrot is tender-crisp and has brightened in color.
Push the carrot and onions to the sides of the wok, then add the garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until it becomes very fragrant.
Add the rice to the wok, then carefully pour the soy sauce mixture over the rice. Use caution and do not pour the liquid directly onto the hot cooking surface (see Note 3 for precautions). Stir-fry everything for 3 to 4 minutes, until the sauce has dried up and the rice starts to form crispy spots.
Add the baked tofu to the wok, along with the peas and scallions. Stir fry everything briefly, just heat up the ingredients that you just added and combine everything. Remove the wok from heat.
Divide onto plates and serve.
