listen to me. listen. as a woman I am telling you that the best thing for your love life should be getting older and fatter. because if you’re lucky getting older and fatter leads to more not giving a shit about what people think; and contrary to what tiktok and every advertising agency ever tells you, what really gets other people going isn’t a lack of crows feet or zero traces of cellulite but the undeniable aphrodisiac of confidence and a fun personality.
to any twenty-somethings out there please put down the latest dieting video, back away from the botox supplements: instead eat a really nice ice cream and some chips, and practice flirting with the next stranger you meet. eventually you’ll get better at it and if it goes wrong you need never see them again. literally it’s so much more fun and costs literally nothing (except for the cost of the ice cream and chips).

btw hey happy almost halloween. anybody here to listen if i say this mirror world in canto 6 was them being jonathan and mina harker. the fascinator of mina's green dress is decorated to resemble a feather, too. as of wild hunt's acquisition scene, in this world catherine dies by being beheaded, as if befitting of a vampire, which mina nearly becomes in the course of the book.

returnal did not cure my depression but it did give me a strangely healing new perspective that makes it all a bit easier to bear. that perspective being 'I may be having a rough time right now, but at least I'm not inside the head of returnal protagonist selene vassos'

Just a few takeaways from Matthew 6
Let all that you do be done single-heartedly and as unto God- not for the praise of men.
God sees it all, even the seemingly small and insignificant things that you do. So be encouraged to keep doing good and hold onto your integrity.
When you pray, understand and recognize who it is that you're speaking to. God, the Most High who is seated above all; God, the Creator of heaven and earth; God, whose breath is in our lungs.
"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matt. 6:14-15). The scripture speaks for itself. Forgiveness is not an option in the kingdom of God.
Whatever thing(s) occupy the space of your heart the most is your treasure and, ultimately, your idol. Let it be God who sits on the throne of your heart.
We can learn a lot about God's provision through the observation of nature. If He provides barns for the fowls, how much more will He provide lodging for us? Even the fields are clothed with lilies. How much more will He clothe us?
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else will fall into place. This looks like seeking His face and not His hand.

Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it ain’t how hard you can hit. It’s how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. It’s how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.

Random Leliana x Warden headcanons:
The Warden realised just how much Leliana meant to her during the deep roads expedition, which was the first time they had really been apart since meeting. The whole "I enjoy our nights at camp" speech happened not long after the party left Orzammar.
Tabris doesn't know how to read. She manages to bluff her way through most things ("nah I haven't had a chance to read the treaties what do they say?") but Leliana notices and offers to teach her how to read.
Leliana also teaches Tabris how to use a bow, because she never had access to one in the Alienage
After the Blight, Leliana and Tabris travel around for a few months. Eventually the Grey Wardens request that she undergo proper training with the Orlesian Wardens. Leliana tries to go to Montsimmard with Tabris, but the Wardens wouldn't let her. She ended up in Val Royeaux instead. Tabris visited when she could during that time.
Tabris was coincidentally in Kirkwall around the same time as Leliana. They managed to meet up, and it was then that Leliana told Tabris that shit was likely to hit the fan and that Tabris should go on her quest for the cure instead of being roped in to saving the world again

What's something you'll get a lot of hate for if you say it out loud?
This young man possesses a remarkable clarity of thought. Unfortunately, the system has engaged in a prolonged brainwashing campaign, spanning multiple generations since the industrial revolution. The consequence of this manipulation is that a significant portion of the population still clings to the myth of freedom. In reality, their lives are confined within a rigidly structured script crafted by the system.
