I finally took the time to photograph my vintage dip pen nib collection, and I need to share with you all how wonderful and diverse their designs are.

These two are my favorite. Just look at them! One of them is named Gorille and the other Mephisto, but to me they're little pumpkins.

And of course you gotta love the Pinocchio nib. You get to write with the nose of a tiny guy! Just not something you get to do anymore.

#I collect them because they come in fun shapes but they're also incredibly nice to use #all the ones I own write impressively smoothly #even the most flexible and fine pointed nibs #I have a ton of modern nibs as well (like a lot) and smoothness plus flexibility is not a common trait combo #good object #dip pens

OC Height Comparison

Tagged for this by @tildeathiwillwrite and I immediately jumped into it! XD

Rules: Plug your OCs into here!

These heights aren't necessarily accurate, but they do show intended height differences well.

I'll start with "Book 2" since it's the one I'm working on. Also, I just rounded to the nearest centimeter in the ALT text for readability.

Shryth and Syfreth both are short for their age, but Syfreth especially so. I think he grows up to be very short. He kinda reminds me of a fairy child, come to think of it.

Next up is "Book 1" and remember that Hhamath, Lutem, Athetæm, and Paesha are actually dragons. There were just no avatars for that. And yeah, Paesha is considered to be rather large in-world, even for an Usevæ.

Hhamath is small all around for an Usevaa, but he and Lutem are into it.

Fun fact: Useveu don't stop growing! :0 They slow down significantly around 20 years old, but keep growing as they get older.
