I'm sorry I needed an episode in ES 2 where maybe while the Cons were helping the autobots and Megs. They stumbled across a group of ppl who love tf and specifically Starscream.

Starscream pretends to love and adore the attention mostly because it bothers Megatron. But he's conflicted he's not a great person, but to feel love makes him feel nice. But also triggers him from the positive attention.

Megatron trys to point out all his flaws and what he's done. Starscream points out Megatron back.

"You're just angery I am the one having the attention! That people acutally appricate me!"

"They wouldn't if they knew what you were like!"

"What I was like?! What about what YOU were like?! Or do you think the humans coward from you because of how 'Friendly' you are? That human and her sparkling may be accustomed to how you are now. But you and I both know who you REALLY are."

"Starscream I'm warning you-"

"Or. What. You'll beat beat me down into a pile of scrap metal? Like every other time someone DARED disagree with you ?"

And Megatron does what shocks them both. He looks like he's going to hurt Starscream but he holds himself back and he simply walks away.

Only Hastag sees how shaken up Starscream is after he leaves and falls down to his knees shaking on the verge of tears.

So much happened this week. (In tags I'll rant about it)

N4 is coming and my prep is not at all good. Took a test today and i failed🥲. But i know my prep is soo bad,it was bound to happen. So have to study for that.

College exams are coming🥹 also have to study for that. The dissertation proposal is in the finalising stage,so that's good. But have to work on it properly imo.

Then i also proposed another research study to my professor and he has encouraged me to go for it. So,also have to work on it.

These very cutu plants in the scorching heat were a treat to eyes and mind.

Got this book from the library and I'm really enjoying reading the essays.

( correction in a tag- she scored less than me in class and she was all sad sad. With her i had to suppress my happiness at moments like these)

So imagine a teen kid coming to the slendermanor and obviously they're a teen so everyone expects them to be loud and trouble in general because teens are teens at the end of the day. Just to find out that the teen is actually very mature because they were forced into a situation where they had to be mature at a young age and they're just quiet(but also have mad good murder tactics). Like i just imagine jeff trying to scare the child for shits and giggles and they just stare at him like 🙂

Generally when kids are brought into the manor, everyone's vibe is "Aw man that's really sad :(" even if they are a teen

Of course, once they get over the sadness, the anxiety starts peeking through

Like not even just teens, all kids are rowdy and annoying so no one really wants to deal with that

So when you get there and you're chill they're like "oh thank god"

No one likes rowdy kids

However, even that can have its hinderances

Like, it's definetly nothing as bad as you being crazy around the manor, but more so just concerning habits

For example, Brian can never do his job as a caretaker, because he'll be coming down the stairs only to see that all of his assigned kids are already out of bed

And when he finally finds them, they are watching T.V

He will ask "Are you guys ready for breakfast?" and they will reply "No thanks, y/n fed us!"

Or E.J, who as we know can't stand dirty things or unhygienic things, will be so confused when that pile of trash he commented on is suddenly gone only a few minutes later

Or his fridge will magically be cleaned out right when he was about to go and do it

Toby will be wondering where on earth his favorite hoodie and hatches went, only to find you out back sharpening and cleaning them, and his hoodie in the washer

Everyone is grateful for your help and all, but it's a little strange?

Like why do you feel the need to do these things? Do you just like helping out or do you feel you need to?

He'll grin real big and hold your shoulders "Yeah, I just need to test something real quick, so don't move. Just stay exactly like this, kay?"

You nod and do as told, but Jeff doesn't move either, he just stands still, still holding onto your shoulders and staring into your eyes

You then feel a chill go up your spine, and all of a sudden a horrifying warped face that looks as if it was straight out of an analog horror jumps right in front of you

You do jump a little, but other than that, there's no reaction

Jeff immediately drops the act and lets go of you "Ugh, really? Whatever loser, I'll go find someone else to scare"

And with that, he stomps off, but Ben stays for a little bit, his face still contorted into that scary one

He wiggles his fingers and makes an "Oooooo" sound before also walking off behind Jeff

They lose interest in you very quickly after realizing you won't give them a satisfactory reaction

He was almost dying low on health and you we're the survivor, or at least i should say the support survivor. You're basically like elliot but a special one. But still killable anyway.

Well how did he find you, BEHIND A WALL OFC (im joking you know almost all maps have a wall to hide from them yk.)

Well you're good on being on at least 80 percent of your health before you start rapidly dying if you get hit by one of his spikes.

Yeah. So chance came up to you and ask if you have any medkit, and of course you do have one but you didn't plan on using it anyway.

He kinda told you that while he was outrunning from the dude with a spiky arm on his left arm, his luck apparently got worsen cause it gave him weakness for half a second. You of course. Well what can you do?

You made a deal with him that if he can distract John Doe and let him attack Shedletsky and Guest, they would take care of the whole thing while he can basically just stun him out after.

He agreed to that deal. WELL WHAT'S YOUR SKILL THOUGH? You basically removed his weakness passive skill and replace it with speed (2). Ok but like, that's pretty unnecessary Zyran.

Well did he do something? Yeah. He decided to bride carry you to a safe zone where not any killer can find you, i really have no idea where he can find that place..

You stayed there for a while, and throughout the whole run, he was energized like he took 5 cans of energy drink straight up in his mouth. Anddd he did shoot John Doe to stun him too. How nice.

Hey, at least you're okay. I mean, in less than a few minutes you'll be fine. The round is almost over.

He went back to the same spot where he had placed you, and you just greet him with a casual "hi again" and act like nothing just happened.

higuchi was well adjusted to the brutality of being in the mafia. she knew some very odd people and had witnessed some things she wished she hadn't. so she never batted an eye at what she assumed was just your dark humour. sure she worried slightly of you said something particularly bad but maybe that's just how you were.

and the longer she knew you, the more concern creeped up on her. she kept telling herself it was just your humour but something just didn't sit right anout the look in your eyes when you said some rather concerning things. she wished it was nothing more as she very much enjoyed being with you and would very willing protect you in any given circumstance.

and finding the truth, for whatever reason she found out, made her absolutely worry. she wished she picked up on ot earlier, she wnated to help you. help you rid of these thoughts and prove to you that you were worth everything.

sigma had spent his fair share around various people. some he would rather not but there was no changing that. so upon meeting you, he had only assumed your random jokes about dying were simply part of your humour. to him it only seemed like you were a fan of dark humour and that wasn't as bad as some other things he had put up with.

and throughout the whole time he had know you that hadn't really changed that much. sometimes it did in fact worry him when you seemed a bit too serious after saying it. he held you close, you were the only person he had met so far that didn't want to use him and in plain fact you two simply got on like a house on fire.

the moment he realised was a moment he wishes to forget. perhaps you had made a rather serious joke about the topic, whatever the reason for his realisation it made his heart sink. he truly hoped that you were still joking but he knew if he did that it would let you sporal even more. and after realising this fact, he was more determined than ever to try and help you. he could never bear even the thought of losing you.

tecchou never really cared about those around him. the most he came to caeing was about his co-workers and those that he had to protect. and once he met you that only meant there was one person he truly did care for. he did think that your take on dark humour was quite interesting but thought nothing more of it.

and even after knowing you for ages, he still never saw it as anything more than dark humour. sometimes he would think maybe there was something more to it but seeing you joke about it so freely made him ignore those gut feelings.

whatever reason or how he found out didn't matter that much, but the single moment he realised that these comments weren't jokes and instead a true reflection of your feelings made him worry deeply. he truly wishes you never felt like that, but he knew he couldn't just instantly change your mind and instead resorted to trying to help you. to get rid of those thoughts and make sure that you know that you mean the world to him.

Why is it so hard for you to write Satoru as loyal? Ever since that ask where you said ‘For one, satoru might be compelled give his attention elsewhere', it has ruined my entire month! Its not fun istg.

What if you were in the wife's position? To be in her position, yes she has retreated herself but she can bridge the gap with him again. To also lose your husband, the love of your life because now the other woman who doesn't have the trauma and is carrying the child you wnated to, to have your husband sway to her, its vile! Why not make Satoru a loyal husband who loves his wife only, even amidst struggle? Let blth pick up the pieces together, let them have a jourmey that isn't destroyed by a third person. Don't do that cheating (any kind of it! Like him feeling momentary weakness for the assistant, nope!) thing as a plot point please. Yes its angst but don't be so...its truly so diabolical.

Let Satoru and Wife be together and in love and loayl to each other in every way. Don't be such a sadistic author.

Staying alive for centuries, if not millennia, and enduring trauma that spans for generations is bound to transform even saints into rats. Day-to-day life in the middle-ages was batshit dystopian (especially in Europe). I'm of the belief that older nations (think england, france, china, india) are far more rat-like and cynical than their much younger counterparts who have witnessed far less war, strife, prejudice and just aren't as burnt out as them (with some major exceptions). Mega bonus points if the youngins received some form of parental care, even if it's not perfect (like zee, australia, alfred).

I love how you emphasize that "Arthur is not a good man". But in his defense, I think none of the oldies are good men. There are personifications that predate Arthur by many millennia (e.g. India, China). To them, Arthur looks like a teenager. They lost power to a pasty little rat completely drunk on power, and so a part of them knows their colonization wouldn't last, so they endure it with an air of haughty annoyance and impatience, I'd like to think. They're still working against Arthur, but there's no seething rage as one might expect. They master the stiff upper lip far, far better than Arthur. Which I imagine makes him envious. I know you don't talk about India or China, but I think their personal interactions with Arthur would be extremely fascinating, be it in the 19th century or present-day. sorry for the long rant, luv your blog

(I am so sorry i took a millenia to answer this but i always wnated to give a structured and thought out oppinion but never had the time in the last few months to sit down and think.

Having said that Im gonna answer as many older asks as i possibly can. Im sorry once again and your mind is a palace decorated with interesting and fascinating ideas)

So many have come before him. Too many died not having been recorded by the watchfull eye of history.

Arthur is not the oldest of the oldies. He is young compared to someone like China or Syria.

To start off with i think China is the most interesting Helltalia character there is. Just the years and cultures and dynasties and changing political systems and rise to power and fall and rise and again and again. The splitting and putting back together the regions. The innovation and influence. Ahvdnajxbnzksbx

So much creative liberty there and so much to learn and look into.

None of these nations, old or young are good or bad. They also are. In a way that a sparrow is bad for crop growth and good for locust population control.

"Arthur is not a good man" is not a general idea. They are Arthurs own words, about himself. He does not believe himself to be a good man. But then again, there are few nations who think of themselves as 'good' or 'righteous'. Years come and years pass. Now multiply that by a few thousant times. Good decisions lead to bad concequences and bad decisions lead to good ones. Good ideas are good until there are better ones pointing out the horrors of the past ideas. If you try to protect yourself and your family and damn another are you a bad person? Or are you a bad person if you damn your own family to save others? 'Good' is different for every nation. It just so happens that Arthur does not consider who he is to be righteous or benevolent. He has made decisions that damned his own soldiers for the sake of his own blood, his children. But he has sacrificed the lives of his progenies to advance himself and his empire. Its not the fact that he sacrificed his children or soldiers that he thinks make him bad, but he believes his hypocracy to be the thing that makes him "not a good man".

I think the older countries like China, Syria, ancient Rome and Egypt, Norte-Chico, Aksum (etc etc) didnt have what younger nations today got. At least not as frequently and directly. Alfred got a father willing to burn down villages and string up reverends to make sure his son didnt see the hangmans knot ever again. His brother and sister and their weird and tall french brother got to live a life as vomfotable as possible for them at that particular time growing up. They didnt see the world change. They were born into it already having shifted. That goes for other younger nationfolk. Some had harder lives than others but the world was connected and integrated to a certain degree when they were born. Loneliness is the main topic of the ancient nation personifications. If you asked a human in a town or village a few thousand years ago what the characteristics of his nation was he would respond with loneliness and reclusivity. So few knew eachother and fewer interacted regularly. A nation born is a nation doomed or abandoned by their parent nation if they had one. If by death or otherwise.

So what i think really set appart the oldies from the noobs are the inreactions they have with eachother. Old nations have learned and expect the sort of "stiff upper lip" you mentioned more than newer nations. If thats even possible. They grew up lonely, and and to a certain degree every nation is lonely, but the ancient world saw too much. So they stay even more lonely.

As ive mentioned, China is such an interesting character to me. He is very smart and he has lived through double the shit these old Europeans have. The oppium wars is something i studied recently and i kept thinking of how Yao would see all of this: "the gall of that young man to come to my shores and demand to do proper business while pointing a loaded gun to my head".

And after a few more decades he sees this European powerhouse get knocked down by none other than the mans very own bastard boy. As a human man, Yao finds comfort and amusment in that. The irony is rich and plentiful. The revenge tastes sweet.

But as a nation, that is extremly scary. The higherarchy is changing, so that means he has to change. And if he has to change that means old wounds will be reopen and new ones will take their place beside the old ones. And he does change. He adapts and tries to understand. Lots of new wounds are reddening his clothes. Lots of new wounds are reddening the clothes of others. In that change, there is loneliness. He keeps it to himself. Saving face is what he knows how to do. Just as most nations do.

Yao has long ago decided to drop the words good/bad from his personal lexicon. The concept of good is noble but not advantageous when it comes to their kind. Nations are purely bad in some situations, yet they are entirely good in others.

The Path to Hell is paved with good intentions

I think what is interesting is the drive that is the Autobots and Decpeticons. Mostly the cause of the Decpeticons and Megatron himself.

Alot of the time we see Megatron to be a crazy, battle hungry, warlord whos hel bent of causing destruction, conquering all in his path and who cares only about his goal to rule.

Over the years we have seen many version of Megatron. From silly goofy villain who's somtiems could acutally be a threat like in g1, to pash, cold, cunning like TFA, to being a crazy war lord who is incredibly cruel in TFP.

But these versions are mostly a Megatron who came from fighting, or had no good intentions to begin with besides being selfish or power hungry.

Then you have TFE and IDW/IDW2 (and possibly tf one). A different apprich to a character. Some may say its to make someone who has done cruel things as more sympathetic. But I think adds depth and personality.

Giving more than a crazy leader with silly goons, to a person who genuinely thought at the beginning, "I want things to change, for the better ,because it is broken"

Much howOptimus, the humble data clerk (hate he is a cop in idw tbh) and the hard working miner. Your everyday ppl, going through diffenrt struggles and honestly. I think woukd be fair to say that Orion wouldn't know the struggles of lower level bots that don't even have proper names..

Like D-16. The mech whis become Megatron.

Both Optimus and Megatron i think wnates to see a change , but how they both went about it i what added the conflict.

These two are basically your average everyday people. Megatron was an average everyday person. He wasn't born into the pits, net a warrior. A worker.

I think with alot of cartoon "villains" to we get older and started to see from a adult perspective. "Oh wait they are making sense." And how MESSED up the situation even was to drive these characters to this point.

Its no longer good vs evil, it is two ideals fighting aginst each other. What was once a fight for what these two sides believes in, turned into warfare and blood shed. To the mentality of Megatron being

"I can't trust anyone to right thing, besides me. I am the only one who can fix this, I can lead us."

You know what I could also see Optimus having the SAME mentality when comes to fighting megatron and restoring Cybertron. They are very much two sides of the same coin. I think that's what adds to the conflict between them. Optimus could be one bad day away from becoming Megatron onnthe sense of wanting to control the situation despite what costs just to not se Megatron when.

And you know he HAS done this. Yeeting the allspark for one to not let Megatron have ir but at the cost of Cybteron and its occupance. It was a loose loose situation regardless.

When it comes to alt-modist mentality, this high class vs low class, and the corruption of Cybertron. It is no wonder why so many people believes in the Decpeticon causes.

The reason why I clung so hard to Transformers Earthspark Megatron is because this was a break out from his character. To later learn it definitely took inspo from IDW who explored this character further sealed my admiration for him.

No one in the tf universe is less or more guilty. Both sides have done HORRIBLE things. Experimentation, brutality, killing innocence and their own soldiers just to get the won up. The autobots are not without their own blood shed. Only SOME of the autobots have a bit more regard for life and the planet they sit on. It doenst mean all of them do, and it doenst mean people within the groups around Optimus like it. But because they are painted as good guys we exapect them to.

Its when Decpeticons seem to take an interest in life do I find it way more compelling because it is out of their characteristics. They are the "bad guys"

They are still PEOPLE. With interests and hobbies, internal conflicts and hesitations.

To see a Megatron not only fight aginst his own army , but take a human, a HUMAN as a friend that he TRUSTS?! That he gave up his Cybertronian already mode UP FOR?! Thats a bug FUCKING deal.

Just the contrast to TFW Megs to say TFP. Tfp depsite it beingbbetter for camouflage NEVER changes his alt mode. He is never willing to acutally change, he is so deeply rooted in what he is, who he is. What he is doing. That he is unwilling to change to the surroundings. No the surrounding will change BECAUSE of him.

While TFE realized a change was needed to fix things, to work together, to show I AM CHANGING, I WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING.

like. you won. you bullied him for a decade and got the thing you wanted the most, he's not here anymore. he wont reminisce about one direction anymore. thats why these people wnated.

so what I dont understand is why do they feel the need to go hate on his fans who're mourning him? none of us are asking these people to repent. because we know it doesnt bring that beautiful boy back. none of what these people say touches him now. why do they feel the need to go around finding us to ask us to stop grieving.

is that their issue? their inner cruelty needs a new outlet? so now they want to force us to make the lowest of his life be all of him? they want to win by silencing those of us who remember the best of him? what is this?

i wish i knew. a lot of people seem to think they have the moral high ground because, well, they’ve never hurt someone intentionally and they’ve never been addicted to a substance which means they’re entirely incapable of it—which makes them better than liam. and they fail to realize how untrue that is, and how easy it is to develop an addiction that spirals out of control. if the situation were different and it was someone they liked and admired, their attitude would be different. they’d be asking everyone to be kind and understanding

they can keep saying what they want and continue to stain their own hearts. i can recognize liam made some bad choices while also remembering all the good he did, for me and for countless others. his life, for me, will always be bigger than a few bad years.

My personal headcanon- criminal organisations. in my reading of WoY, the galaxy -calling it Yonder from now on- is actually like a bad neighborhood to the rest of the universe, villains run the place, they have their own ranking system for flargs sake! there are high ranking villains that are like the mafia (Sourdough/Entozoa), small local organisations (Awesomes party squad) and sizeable gangs (the Hater Empire). Why is Yonder overrun with criminal acvtivity? The Space Race (capital letters), as some planets got out there first, they started to expand and generally get wealthy, leaving other smaller planets with less. Those smaller planets decided they've had enough and started using violent means to get resources from other planets. As the years went by, many (not all) forgot why they were doing it in the first place, young people saw villainy as a way to get clout and kept the whole thing going alongside their elders who were still pissed about becoming third world planets. Not all third-world planets did this, but those were soon exploited by those who did. Thats sorta my reasoning for why the people of Yonder don't really have any kind of galaxy-wide laws, everyone is used to villains and why crime is just sorta ok. Bonus headcanon: Sylvia is on SFEFs wnated list for her time as a bounty-hunter

ctommys ending wasnt pointless, like i agree it wasnt the best and couldve been better, but if you really analyze it, there was a lot that worked quite well.

Ctommy got his closure in a way (finally getting his question of why cdream hurt him was answered). Finding out cdreams true motives which is something he always wnated to know

Seeing for himself that cdreams true motivations were true. He knew cdream was not making it up for once as he saw it for himself

Ctommy winning against cdream (and cpunz) , finally getting cdream to break as well as killing both cpunz and cdream. Cdream even feeling alone and betrayed before dying yet giving into ctommy beating him since he didnt try escaping and instead just stayed there and looked at ctommy. (Dying lonely just as what he had done to ctommy.) And yes ctommy died feeling like he had been too foolish and impulsive but both of these instances highlighted both characters flaws. Ctommy being too impulsive + stuck in the past to his downfall, and cdream being too stuck in an ends justify the means long term plans shit + stuck in past lead to his down fall.

it was important for cdiscduo to both die because both were stuck in a loop of this need for simplistic things whilst also having no shot of truley fixing things as things just were too far. Ctommy was planning to make a new country and was still thinking excessively about how cdream treated him in the past(not his fault), and cdream and cpunz were obsessed with that revival book and 'fixing the server'.

ctommy simply killing them after getting his closure and leaving wouldnt of fixed things exactly either cuz by that point it was just too late.

The s2 start was ok because it had what both cdiscduo wanted (simpler times again) even though past cdiscduo would of never known that things were reset. They never knew that they got what they wanted. And now all that sht is left to interpretation, there were hints that cdream in that new memory wipe thing still had some memories so people just can assume whatever. Since its never happening (which is for the best for obvi reasons), we can just speculate if one wanted too.

Tommy's DSMP ending was really bad.

Character with suicidal thoughts comes up with a plan that involves him dying. As a result, him and eveyrthing he loves dies.

His story had a theme about the importance of attachments and love and Tommy loses everything. Including all his memories. You don't burn memories. Even at his lowest during exile, the photos of Tubbo helped keep him sane.

Tommy's validation comes in the form of him coming to an understanding and literally seeing the one who so cruelly isolated him and deliberately made him think that he was worthless and promised to kill, to see his point of view.

On realising Dreams motives and winning against Dream, as I've said it really serves Dream's character more than Tommy's. Tommy is damaged by Dream and his arc should be about being able to move on from that pain and to make sure Dream can't hurt him again but instead he ends without his memories as Dream's friend.

It's fine that Tommy likes things simple but the comparison with Dream is not satisfying nor does it feel convincing in the stream itself.

What's the point of a character struggling to live and heal and become the best version of themselves if at the end of it they die by their own hand, with their last words being words of regret towards the one who hurt them?

Im taking this as a chance to finally ramble abt her anyways so Janet's core inspo when designing her was to avoid 2 key things. Don't make her like Immortal & Th Restless's Clara (due to clara representing michael, not mrs afton, so i wanted to avoid that), and don't base her too heavily off of Ballora. I still have ties to Ballora's character (a music-based theme, blue-centric colour palette, im sure there were more basic ideas but everything else is more hc than themes to keep up) due to my hc thingy of each Funtime having ties to William's wife + kids, but yknow.

But yeah. Funky lady who played bass guitar + did backup vocals in a band during her high school and college years. Literally her and William dating can be summed up by "Seriously, what do you see in that guy?!" "He makes me laugh." bc she was and is WAY out of his goddamn league. Not just bc of the whole serial killer thing he was just an even bigger loser in college. Normal people dont develop a crush on a woman after she nearly breaks your nose and makes you bleed, William /j

But yeah uhh. I also dont like the idea of her being absent or neglectful purely because I got way too attached to her (i was originally gonna do that just to make things easy for myself but. Ive seen people say that one of fnaf's charms is that no character is 100% good and i LOVE that, and wanted to keep it up with Janet. Good mom and overall a good person, however made some bad decisions along the way and whatnot.

Im still working out specifics (ive been slowly working on a lil private fic abt her and william meeting + their early relationship) but uhhh. Minor notes that dont get their own paragraphs is that William sampled her voice for Ballora so yay easy voice claim, she had an on and off relationship with her band's lead singer (her name's Bev), her birth name is actually Janice Schmidt but if you call her Janice she'll knock at least 2 of ur teeth out, she's a runaway teen and got adopted by this older couple bc her home life kinda sucked (idk specifics yet), and also girlie has an extensive criminal record of minor angsty teen type charges. Also teen Mike dying his hair and then 2020's Michael's hairstyle are both kinda references to Janet's hair because he wnated to look less like his father. Thats all ty. I would say that I have multiple favourites, but I guess Una is very high on that list and since her Gen just started, let's go with her!

She is named after Una Chin-Riley, formerly only known as Number One in the unaired Star Trek-pilot back in the 60's. A character brought back to us in Star Trek Discovery and then in Stange New Worlds.

My Una is not fully as badass as her namesake, but instead is very shy and more of a introvert nerd. However, she wants to do the right thing and is driven by the want to help others - she just has to figure out how.

She is almost deaf. Her hearing has deteriorated over the years. This doesn't affect her too much, but she does find that it makes it even harder to make new friends.

Orion is very much like a sister to her, and a sister that Una needs. Orion looks after her and makes sure she gets out of the house, dares to meet new people and remembers to have fun!

Una loves her mothers, but do feel that they have both been very career focused during the years. Jade and Gunnel very much had their own dreams and even if they wnated a child - one was enough as they both focused on other things than family life.
