Sampo & Caelus are so important to me, I love them. To me they are bros. Buddies. Partners in mischief making and chaos. Caelus is a total weirdo and Sampo is always getting Up To Something, and they both hate being bored or stagnating, so they regard each other as an endless source of entertainment and amusement.

They're the kind of friends that just kind of see each other when they see each other, and when they do cross paths they greet with that funny hands-clasped-between-them-and-one-armed-hug thing that guys do. Then they go to a bar, annoy the local population, kick up a ruckus or cause some kind of mischief somewhere, and go stumble into a hotel room to sleep it off.

They did this a few times in Belobog, and Gepard once found them on a morning patrol passed out in a gutter together. Sampo was sacked out with a newspaper over his face. Caelus was sprawled out next to/on top of him in the most awkward and uncomfortable position a human body could possibly contort into. Both refused to explain anything zkzkkskd

People that have had the opportunity to observe Phainon at a particular distance, always notice that the hero checks his phone every ten minutes ; thumb swiping over the screen in a daze, eyes softened and unblinking, before giggling to himself like a maiden. If they're lucky enough to find out the reason for his yearning, they'll be taken aback to find a picture of you huddled in what appears to be Phainon's coat, dozing off, set as his teleslate's lock-screen. If their staring crosses the five seconds mark, they should back off with a logical compliment directed at you, lest they should incur the hero's displeasure.

After watching dogman and learning more about petey, his past and his criminal / villan life but still got a very good redemption and a chance to do good and be loved and happy again.

And all i could think was how that option and opportunity was took away from the league of villans in mha. And i got so sad, like i been constantly thinking "it wouldn't be nice if shigaraki redemption treated like this?" "It would've been so cool if toga had this chance to be this loved"

I KNOW it sounds like an ass-pull comparison (and it probably is) but fuck with me ok? I miss them and im searching them in everyone.

I can make comparison between pretty much every member with petey, they all have abusive family members, they got into crime, they're rejected by society but only petey character is managed with compassion and care to let him live and not just letting him killing himself or "save" with death...

And ik dogman is a childrens book and mha is for teenagers but they're both supposed to have positive and hopeful messages and both are about humanize its main villans that are unperfect victims of abuse and their circumstances, however one treats this with care in a touching and smart way and the other don't, and acts obtuse to it's own ideas giving us a bad resolution for it's villans and the heroes.

i have often been neutral on saiouma/oumasai, but sometimes i do think about them and think they are very cute and fun

the mischievous boy that tricksters the anxious boy is just a fun combo

and when it goes from kokichi running circles around shuichi so fast it makes him dizzy to shuichi just watching him run around and being like, "ah, you're pulling my leg and having a fun time," and simply relaxing and going along with the chaos kokichi brings, it's very nice

#ive talked a lot about helmets lately oops #i guess i just rly have an obsession with how they're an extension of the driver #and a representation of them and their only sense of personality and individuality when theyre all geared up #so theres something to me about the separation of helmet from driver like in these pics #of course theres pics of the helmet on its own for model kinda pics(like all the pics i used for my past project posts)#but this is its own genre. helmet doing its own thing. helmet away from the vicinity of its owner #helmet being protected from the elements. it has its own carrying bag. it gets an umbrella. etc etc #the first pic made me on the lookout for pics w a similar vibe. A chapter #First of all: I'm ENDLESSLY GRATEFUL to the person who sent me the translation basically as soon as the chapter came out.#I even did like 90% of typesetting but didn't finish it because I had to go out #(aka with my friends were literally knocking out at my room and I couldn't make it any more late lol)#Mixed feelings about it? Mostly because there's so much exposition... Usually color spreads / pages open the volume...#Akutagawa fake dying again is funny. Like it isssss but also. Idk it's a little lame how we're changing the pov from ss/kk again :/#I can't even tell if I'm being biased or if it's an actual storytelling critique. I don't care right now I just want to see Akutagawa–#being cool rather than. You know. Dead on the ground.#That said!
