God. God I'm completely fucking insane about Dick and Jason

Their dynamic is everything to me. They have such a complicated relationship and history. They've been enemies and friends and almost-brothers. The what-ifs and should-have-beens and might-haves linger in between them so heavily. The guilt and grief sticks to their relationship and might never go away. They keep hurting each other but they love each other so much and they want to keep trying, to understand each other

Because that's what love is!! Relationships aren't perfect but that doesn't matter! They keep trying and they WANT to keep trying! Jason sees Dick for who he is and still thinks he's the most amazing thing he's ever seen. Dick has seen Jason at his absolute worst and still wants him around. They've both wanted the other dead and they've fought and gotten each other bloody and they still come back and offer a hand up.

They SEE each other- and that's terrifying. And they love each other so so deeply. The commitment, the sense of duty and obligation, it's all there. They don't HAVE to keep caring or trying- but they do regardless and God isn't that what love is? Trying?

Just. God they're so devoted to each other even when they've been hurt, even when they don't quite know how to show it or get the other to understand. But they try.

God, they try.

How do you feel about TFA Starop? I honestly adore their comical height difference and the idea of tiny Optimus being the funniest big spoon to his massive birb bf

criminally underrated imo. it's not often we have starscream as the tall one in the relationship, and he deserves to take that win.

i also love the idea of these two hardheads getting into arguments constantly. like, even if starscream joined the autobots, or at least left the decepticons and did his own thing, he'd be the world's biggest pain in the ass. once he has some cockamamie idea in his head, he will act on it, primus be damned. optimus is the only one who can even try to get him to see reason, but sometimes neither of them wanna back down, unstoppable force meet immovable object and all of that. this leads to angry interface, after which the two of them finally calm down... at least until the argument starts back up again, and the cycle repeats.

i also love the idea of some bot trying to go after optimus, only for starscream to scruff him like a cat and say something like, "this is MY autobot! go find your own!"

This can go two ways - either they are very structured about who does what(Charles has the instructions which he reads out loud and Erik does the hard work w his powers) and they successfully put together whatever they've bought

They start a fight over some lost screw or some shit, bicker, the furniture gets left half way done and they go to seperate rooms until evening when they gotta go to sleep in their shared bed. Erik is the first to apologize, they make up and chuckle about how stupid of a fight that was and just agree to leave that furniture for another day.

Also Doumeki is doing such a excellent job of annoying Watanuki so much that he doesn’t have any space to worry about anything else. Mission completely successful. Watanuki is fuming.

And this really follows on from what we were looking at in the previous chapter - how Himawari can actually cook for them now, in a way she’s never been able to do for any friends her entire life, for their own safety. 

Even so, she has a lingering worry, and so she suggests that Watanuki eat with Doumeki all the same, just in case. 

Either that or she is working with the assumption that they’d just be sharing the meal anyway. It’s always slightly possible that she just genuinely assumes that they’re together. 

And they aren’t beating the couple allegations any time soon.
