“We could use Liam as bait?” Stiles offers, earning a frown from Scott.

“Me? Why me?” Liam complains, not too happy with the way his name was so easily thrown out into the mix.

“Well if Theo is unhinged it’s more likely he won’t kill you as opposed to the rest of us. “ Stiles points out, nodding his head in agreement at his own statement.

“He’s not wrong.” Corey says, humming softly in thought.

“Corey.” Mason frowns, apologetically smiling at Liam.

Apparently what Liam has learned from all of this is that everyone else seems to be sure that the only thing that they can rely on is Theo’s care for Liam to help them buy some time.

How fortunate for Liam.

“Thanks. I guess I’m just going to approach a coyote in the middle of the woods like some lunatic and hope that you’re all right about this.” Liam sighs, bitterly biting back a smart response to Stiles previous statement.

“Glad we had this conversation.” Stiles says, patting Liam’s shoulder.

Theo better be easy to find because what in the actual fuck.

Josh Diaz is a Werewolf-Raiju Hybrid

My personal headcanon is that Josh Diaz is a werewolf-raiju hybrid. According to Japanese mythology, raiju were spirits composed completely of lightning. In the flashback sequence that Lydia experiences in Required Reading (5x06), we see the Dread Doctors opening Josh up, displayed above.

Raiju were animals composed entirely of lightning, and they were often in the shapes of weasels, cats or wolves. The signs and scars of lightning strikes on trees and woods were said to be the tracks of their claws.

They also, strangely enough, said to enjoy sleeping in human navels, which led to the reputed folklore practice of sleeping on your stomach during storms. While the exact source of this folklore has vanished, leaving it sort of harmlessly sinister. I feel it must be connected to their patron, the thunder god Raiden, who was said to have an insatiable appetite for navels, as they were considered where life began in a body.

The writers of Teen Wolf liked to play around with mythology. When we met Josh, he's at Sinema, dancing, and he tries to scam Hayden out of a new glowstick. At first, it seems like he's being dim, but his smile after Hayden gives him a new one seems to me to be the one of someone who performed a harmless con.

This is important to me, as I have another headcanon that the Doctors used sympathy (i.e. "the shape you take reflects the person that you are") when choosing which teenagers to turn into what type of chimera. For example, Corey was chosen to be turned into a Ghost Rider (see my meta here), because like the rider people seemed not to see him "[My parents] hardly noticed the first time I died." or Mason was chosen to be the Beast "From [Theo] we learned true evil only comes by corrupting something truly good." In this case, Josh's appearances -- dancing, conning, drug use, his bargaining with Malia -- on the show seemed to indicate a certain disregard for the rules of society without being particularly malicious about it -- sort of like sleeping in someone's navel.

I feel it makes a certain sort of sense.

His answer seems to appease Liam. Or maybe he’d just rather not elaborate on the circumstances that made him seek shelter in a bus stop with a boy that he only spends time with when danger is making a home for itself in the corners of their lives. 

(Theo thinks everyone might be a little out of place, trapped.)

kiraweek2023: Day 1, Kitsune Attributes

“That’s really disappointing.” Kira huffs and crosses her arms over her chest, the game she was just playing with Mason and Liam crashed on all three of their computers, meaning they all lost. It’s been almost four hours of nonstop playing to try and beat Hayden and Theo and now- nothing. All of it for nothing.

“Awe don’t look so down fire fox, you can beat us next time.” Theo teases with a grin and hand reaching to assumingely pet at Kira’s head but she ducks away before he can.

“We’ve already spent half a day playing and were just about to beat you.” He hums, an amused smile on his face as he leans his head against his hand, the others are all staring too, though they look a little more confused. Kira isn’t sure what they’re looking at.

“Such a shame. Maybe Scott can help you win next time.” Theo’s head nods towards where Scott and Corey are walking into the library, the towns library, they’ve all decided the schools library is obviously cursed and should definitely be avoided.

“Hey guys- uh what’s going on?” Scott’s eyes blow wide the second he’s in front of the table the five are sat at, Corey looking even more taken back.

“We were about to beat Hayden and Theo but our games crashed.” They hum along and slide into the two empty seats beside Theo and Hayden, eyes not leaving Kira as they move. She suddenly feels self conscious that maybe there’s something in her teeth or that her hairs messed up somehow, she can’t think of another reason to why they’re all staring.

“Can you guys stop looking at me?” Everyone but Theo quickly drops their heads and mutters out a sorry, Raeken only grins wider, hand reaching out for Kira again but she lets him this time. Maybe he was trying to fix whatever the problem is earlier and she stopped him.

“Hm softer than mine are.” His head tips to the side and fingers scratch gently at Kira’s ear. Her fox ear. Oh god her full fox ears are out in public, in front of the pack, she hasn’t talked to them about her shifting yet.

“Oh um- yeah- yeah they’re soft.” She blushes furiously but Theo only keeps smiling, petting at her ear like he’s done this a million times before. In his defense, it is helping her calm down a bit.

“Guessing they don’t know you can go full fox mode.” The others who are dead silent but quickly move their eyes away from Kira when she looks at them.

“It’s new. I don’t have great control over it yet.” Which is how every single part of being a kitsune has felt, she wishes there was a manual to follow or something, just to give her some sliver of guidance.

“I can give you some tips.” Theo assures and lets his hand fall away from Kira’s ear. She’d be lying if she didn’t say she was a small bit disappointed at the lack of attention, she didn’t know getting her ears scratched would feel so good.

“Are you guys going to keep staring?” She can feel how her ears peel back in nervousness, hands fidgeting in her lap as she tries to make her ears go back to normal, though she knows it’s really no use.

“Sorry, no, no of course not. Uh- what game were you guys playing?” Scott startles himself back to reality which thankfully makes the others start to look away and Hayden start to explain the game they were playing to Corey and Scott.

Kira briefly wonders if she’s going to have to get used to being stared at like that a lot? Theo doesn’t shift a lot around the pack, nor does Malia or Derek, but if she’s already halfway shifting due to lack of control maybe she won’t have a choice. The lore she dug up about kitsune’s shifting to a full fox form did little to nothing to help her understand how to get herself from one form to the other.

The text dings on Kira’s phone makes her smile, she gives a reserved nod to Raeken before turning to the conversation at hand. Hopefully Theo will be more helpful than the lore she read; but she can about her kitsune problems later, she needs to try and relax for now.

I like those “Stiles gets kicked out of the pack” fics, but I also find the premise a bit amusing because Stiles seems to be an essential part of the pack and occasionally functions as second-in-command (doesn’t even matter which alpha were talking about. He comes up with the plan to rescue Erica and Boyd, Derek trusted him with his Betas’ lives and believed Stiles could pull this off within hours; when things go down in the McCall pack, people go to Scott or they go to Stiles. Liam’s immediate response to learning his alpha was in danger in 5x01 was to rush off to get Stiles, the human of the pack, and he had enough faith in Stiles’ instincts to follow a guy for several hours in the woods and to speak to Stiles about his fears concerning Mason’s reaction to the werewolf thing). A giant running subplot in the Nogitsune arc is Noshiko saying Stiles was already dead and couldn’t be saved, and the pack going “all due respect, but fuck you. You can take your pessimism regarding his survival and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine.” Even Allison, who wanted Derek and his pack dead less than a year prior and who is a hunter, responded to the revelation that Stiles was possessed and had put her sort of boyfriend in the hospital with “well, how do we get this evil spirit the hell out of Stiles” and actively sabotaged her father’s attempt to shoot Stiles, before she even knew for sure Chris would aim his gun at Stiles. If anyone in the pack suggested kicking Stiles out, the rest would be aghast at the idea and would shut that down immediately

Stiles getting kicked out of the pack is indeed a very wonderful trope. I adore it, especially if Stiles ends up becoming a badass and gets his (wo)man. Absolute perfection.

This part is actually pretty interesting because when Stiles is kicked out of the pack in canon, nobody is around to stop it.

It seems impossible for Stiles to be kicked out of the pack because everyone has strong ties to him, it's interesting that Scott makes that decision alone during a crisis. Hayden is dying. Liam is beside himself with fear, and yet Scott dismisses Stiles without even listening to his side of the story... the person you wouldn't technically expect it from since we're supposed to believe their friendship is indestructible (which is honestly a whole other can of worms).

What's even more interesting to observe is that the second Scott kicks Stiles out of the pack, everything falls apart. Theo slips seemingly seamlessly into Stiles' now "open position" and pushes Scott to bite Hayden like Stiles would have done. Liam latches onto that, instantly turning against Scott — and attempting to kill him not too long after. (Kira has been gone for a while. Lydia will end up in Eichen House) Malia abandons the pack as well. She helps looking for Noah (the chimera) because it's helping Stiles and his dad. Other than that, the pack is only back together after Stiles drew the pack symbol into the dirt. Stiles even is the one actively pushing Scott to get the pack back together (as seen with Liam in ep.13 (?)).

Something similar, even if to a lesser extent, can be seen in 6a. Stiles has vanished, and Liam is off doing his own thing with his friends for a lot of the season (as far as I remember, I might be wrong since I only watched bits and pieces of s6). Liam even keeps Theo around even though Scott and Hayden told him not to simply because Theo remembers Stiles. Liam doesn't even remember Stiles, but he knows Stiles is important, so he decides to keep the guy around who killed his alpha, tore his pack apart, and was willing to kill Mason to get the power of the beast.

To be completely honest, looking at it from this perspective, Liam's relationship with Stiles is fascinating. Liam latches onto Stiles rather quickly despite Stiles being pretty rude to him in the beginning. But Stiles also jumps in-between him and Brett without a second thought, and Stiles gets his IED (even though his comment is quite crude). Liam talks to Scott about his werewolf-y issues, but he talks to Stiles about his personal stuff (like you mentioned, his friendship with Mason). While everyone doubts Stiles when it comes to Theo, Liam puts his trust in him and is even willing to fight Theo in the woods.

Teen Wolf didn't do much with the concept of pack bonds, but they tried to do so in s2/3 as well. Funnily enough, Derek's betas, especially Erica as well as Isaac to a certain degree, connect with Stiles as well. Stiles and Derek are a whole other story, but either way, it seems like most of the werewolf end up trusting Stiles with their lives and are willing to protect him even if their attacker wears Stiles' face.

Stiles remains suspiciously quiet, you would have expected him to argue with you, but instead he rubbed at his chin, looking unconvinced.

“What?” You ask while putting clothes into your drawers. You were still in the process of unpacking when Stiles arrived at Derek’s house. It amused you how much they bickered like an old married couple. Despite the sarcastic comments and jabs they took at each other, you knew they cared, Derek cared about all of you.

“Honestly, I don’t know how you're not freaking out right now.” I’m freaking out. “You got bitten days ago and haven’t turned yet, I don’t know how that’s even possible.”

“Maybe I won’t turn,” you say jokingly.

Stiles rolls his eyes unamused and says, “This is serious. I'm worried if you run into Theo at school, it will trigger your first shift and everyone will see you turn.” He leans back into the chair beside your dresser, looks up at the ceiling, and sighs, “I don’t want him to hurt anyone again.”

You place your hand on his shoulder and say, “He won’t.”

You changed the subject to Stiles and Malia’s relationship, he was glad the awkwardness of them splitting up had seemed to pass and they could still be friends. Although you were listening to him, in the back of your mind you were thinking about your and Kira’s plan.

“Mason?”

“Mason, we just want to help you!” You call out while running beside Liam in the woods.

If finding your friend wasn’t so important, you’d have pointed out how you could suddenly run faster than your boyfriend. Suddenly, you trip over a tree branch and tumble to the ground.

You feel someone help you up and assume it’s Liam, but when you look up, you see it’s Hayden. You nod your head in thanks before dusting yourself off.

“I lost his scent,” Liam says, coming to a halt.

He sounded defeated. You link your finger with his, “Then let’s find it again, all of us.”

The three of you take off running again to search for your friend.

When morning comes, you and Liam head to the McCall household to meet up with the rest of your pack.

You lean against the kitchen table and smile at Scott as he enters the room. He gives Liam a sympathetic look when he suggests that the beast isn’t Mason.

You place your hand on Liams as he lowers his head, struggling to process what is happening to his best friend. Hayden is at the school looking. “I've made a list of places Mason likes to hang out in case he’s at one of them.”

“I'll keep checking the woods,” Malia adds.

“My mom can check all the hospitals in the county, we can find him,” Scott says, sounding hopeful.

“What happens when we find him?”

“We’ll figure out a way to save him.”

“Okay, where else could we look?” Lydia asks.

“Let’s ask Corey,” Scott extends his arm out and grabs onto Corey, who was using his supernatural abilities to be invisible.

“Wait, wait, it’s not my fault,” Corey says defensively. “They took him, and I couldn’t do anything.”

Scott frowns and asks, “Who?”

“The dread doctors.”

“Just putting it out there, I think this is a terrible idea, it’s going to end in bloodshed.”

You walk between Scott and Liam towards the boys' locker room to meet Theo and his pack. Truthfully, the idea of seeing him again made you feel on edge, but you needed to do this. You needed to prove you weren’t scared and could hold your own so Liam and Stiles would stop worrying about you so much.

“How desperate are we?” Liam whispers.

“Incredibly desperate,” Scott stands outside the door to the lockers and looks at you. “Are you sure you're ready for this?”

“We need to focus on getting Mason back.”

Scott nods and opens the door, and you feel rage radiate from Liam the moment his eyes land on Theo. You gripped his hand, sensing he was about to pounce.

“I told you we’d end up on the same side.”

You glare at Theo. “How about I kick you in the balls to remind you we’re not?”

Theo chuckles, “I love the feisty side of you.”

“I don’t,” Tracy deadpans.

“We know you’re not on our side, Theo. You said you wanted to help Lydia, but you left Eichen with something else, didn’t you?” Scott asks

“The mask?” A smug grin spreads across Theo’s face. “You worried about that?”

“Who did you see?”

Theo shakes his head. “Not Mason. Look, we all want the same thing. We want him back.”

“We want him back alive,” you snap.

Theo walks closer to you until he’s directly in front of you, his amusement was obvious at how mad Liam was getting, “I’m willing to do a compromise.” He looks at Scott, “You still got the map with telluric currents on it? Bring it to the operating room in two hours again.”

“How do we know this isn’t a trap?”

“Aw scared?” Theo leans into your ear, causing your boyfriend to let out a low growl, and whispers, “Don’t worry, I’m not planning on killing you this time.”

Everything happens in a blur as Scott pulls you out of the way and rage takes over Liam as his claws and fangs extend. He plunges his claws into Theo's stomach and lets out a loud roar. “Touch her again, and I’ll kill you.”

“Liam stop! He's not worth it!”

He ignores you as his eyes glow bright yellow and he digs his claws in deeper.

“Liam, that’s enough!”

Hearing his alpha voice, Liam snaps his hand back and walks towards you as Theo slumps to the locker room floor cursing. The three of you walked back onto the hallway as if nothing had happened. Usually you hated violence, but you hated the wolf that tried to kill you more, plus he’d heal.

You and Liam walk slowly towards the forest to meet with one of your enemies, while Scott speaks on the phone in front of you, filling his mom in on the plan. A part of you was jealous, you’d never be able to go to your own mom for help or advice, and she would never in a million years agree to help your friends when they needed it.

“I’m sorry about before,” he breathed out in a rushed tone, grasping onto your hand like you would disappear at any moment. “I just lost it when he got close to you, all I kept thinking about was when you almost died.”

“Don’t-”

“I lost control,” he says quietly as a look of regret crosses his face.

You squeezed his hand and said, “After everything he’s put all of us through, it’s understandable; you shouldn’t feel bad.”

“I don’t, not about that anyway,” he says in a serious tone, looking down at the ground. “I’m sorry you saw me lose control. I know you’ve seen me turn before, but I never wanted you to see me like that, like a monster.”

You frown and cup Liam’s face, forcing him to look at you and say, “You’re not a monster, and nothing you could ever do will ever convince me otherwise.” You hold each other’s gaze as your boyfriend stares at you with a loss for words, “I love you too.”

A wide smile passes over Liam’s face, he leaned in to kiss you when Scott yelled, “Are you two coming?”

“Right behind you,” Liam replies. He rests his hand on your back as you walk towards Scott.

“You still think you’re going to get through all this without killing anyone?” You scowl as you listen to Theo mock Scott for letting Deucalion go and not murdering him.

You snap back at her, “He didn’t say that. Besides, not everyone is evil like you.”

Liam suddenly stops walking with a worried expression on his face and says, “We’re close.”

“You’ve got his scent?”

Liam nods.

“Which way?” Theo asks. Liam and Scott exchange a look as neither of them says anything, pissing Theo off. “What? You think you can leave me behind?”

“Liam…” Scott says softly.

He shakes his head and becomes defensive. “Look, he wants to kill!”

“I just want his power. You went to fight someone who actually wants to kill Mason? Go fight Parrish.”

“Who did you see when you put on the mask?” Liam questions.

“I already told you, it wasn’t Mason.”

You watch as Liam struggles to keep his composure, his frustration becoming more obvious. “Who was it?!”

“I saw a man dying in the snow. He was impaled by a spear.”

You remembered the stories of Marie-Jeanne Valet that you’d heard as a child and her brother's name, “Sebastien Valet?”

Theo nods and says, “You all know what this means—time is running out. Where is he, Liam? What direction?”

Reluctantly, Liam shows them what direction the scent is coming from and marches on. You place your hand on your stomach, feeling a wave of guilt wash over you. You knew the story all along but thought it was just a fabrication. What a pathetic excuse for an Argent.

You follow Liam into what appears to be a creepy-looking greenhouse on the outside but is actually a way into the dreadful doctored den.

“Oh my god, Mason,” you run over and kneel beside him and try to wake him up. He had large needles buried deep into his skin that were attached to a large tube with green liquid inside it.

“It’s connected to him.”

You look over your shoulder and notice the body inside the tube. “That is so fucking gross.”

“Liam, I can feel it,” Mason says weakly. “It’s in my skull.”

You turn to look up at Theo and ask, “What are they doing to him?”

“I don’t know.”

You open your mouth to accuse him of lying, but you bite your tongue and move out of the way as Scott and Liam attempt to remove the device from your friend. Mason screams in pain when they try to pull it out. You rub the back of Mason's hand and say, “We are going to figure this out, okay? We will find a way to save you.”

Hearing heavy footsteps approaching, all of you look at the doorway to see the dread doctors returning.

“Liam, Lulana, try and get that thing out of Mason's neck.”

You struggle to hold Mason still as Liam attempts to remove it. Mason grips your arm and says, “Get out of here, you guys need to go.”

“No, not without you.”

You listen in as one of the dread doctors explains the reasoning behind their mission, in between insulting Theo by calling him a failure. “We believed that to resurrect the perfect killer, we had to start with the perfect evil. From you, we learned that true evil only comes from corrupting something truly good.”

Scott shakes his head and says, “Not something.”

“Someone,” you say, looking at Mason, who was drastically starting to look worse.

Suddenly Theo punched the dread doctor, but it did not know what hit it as his knuckles hit against its metal face mask. “Oh, shit,” the rest of the doctors start to surround you. “Guys, there are more of them.”

Mason starts to run as Liam lunges to his feet and tries to fight them off. An anxious feeling begins to flutter in your stomach, one that feels familiar yet fills you with an overwhelming sense of dread and adrenaline.

You look down at your hands and notice something you’ve never seen before.

Claws.

You were turning…

Feeling a rush course through your body, you bounce forward, letting out a loud growl as you throw your body into the dread doctor that was fighting with Liam. You manage to knock it back, but another one grabs you and throws you against empty barrels. Seconds later, Scott and Liam were thrown down beside you.

Screaming out in pain, Mason stands up and rips the needle out himself. A cloud of black smoke begins to whirl around his body as he starts to transform into someone else. Liam steps forward, “Mason!”

A distorted voice comes out of Mason's body, “That is not my name.”

You watch in terror as your sweet friend completely transforms into the Beast of Gevaudan.

You push yourself further back and out if the way we the beast begin to tear the dread doctor's armor limb by limb. The beast drags the last surgeon outside to kill him, but Parrish in his hellhound form attacks him.

Gunfire rings out from the opposite direction. You look over and see your uncle Chris firing at the beast with Gerard close behind him. Liam steps in front of you protectively as his eyes move between the beast and your grandfather.

One of the bullets hits the beast, causing him to transform back into his human form. Gerard steps forward, “La bete du Gevaudan! I know your name. Do you remember mine?”

Sebastien Valet glares at him and, with venom in his voice, says, “Argent.”

Sebastian takes off running as Parrish tries to attack him again. Scott watches confused and asks, “What the hell was that?”

“You’ve seen the beast of Gevaudan, and now you’ve seen the man,” Gerard replies.

“Sebastien Valet,” you say in disbelief.

"I'll settle for a kiss, and a taste of Scott for the time being,” Theo says, his anticipation building as Liam's lips meet his own.

The taste of blood and desire intertwines on their tongues, fueling their twisted passion. But as the sound of an approaching car grows louder, their moment is interrupted. It's a patrol car, the flashing lights warning them of its arrival.

"Fuck," Theo gasps as they reluctantly pull apart and rise to their feet.

"I thought we had more time," Liam mutters, scanning their surroundings. "We'll have to come up with a new plan."

Liam’s stomach somersaults, remembering that Theo can in fact full shift into a wolf and for a split second Liam has a mini meltdown and Scott looks at him questioningly.

“It’s nothing, really,” Liam assures him softly. “I thought, I just thought the wolf might be Theo for a sec but it’s not. His eyes are a different shade and Theo’s fur is black not grey.”

Scott gazes at him in what Liam can only guess is bewilderment and Liam is thankful for the wolf growling and breaking the frankly weird moment because Liam is not ready to unpack the shitshow of his feelings. Especially to Scott when he can’t even begin to explain what he’s feeling for Theo.

But Liam should’ve been thankful because it only led to a pack of dead wolves in the woods and more questions.

Fuck his life. Something weird is happening again. Maybe Mason is right, maybe a night out will be welcome distraction.

WIP WEDNESDAY (but I’m switching it up)

(I’m sick so this is a wip snippet from one of my first multi chapter fics. It needs some major editing. Fjfjf Maybe someday , but enjoy. 😂😬) anyone who figures out where this is from is getting a gift work from me cause that means they’ve been here since the beginning.

“I got you this. No big deal, but I thought of you.” Liam says, handing him a little package.

Theo opens it and looks at it. It’s a little carved out coyote. It’s made of wood and it’s howling. He looks at it for a second and decides not to say anything. He’s never been given something that was so personalized.

“I thought of a wolf, but I just thought your coyote side fit you more.” Liam explains.

“I told Liam that it’s nice because it shows the Coyote howling. Howling means a lot of things for them. Primarily to communicate or to show pain.” Mason says, smiling.

“Yes, that’s why I also got me a wolf. I figured they were communicating with each other but not in pain. Sometimes they do that and get along.” Liam says, handing Theo his wolf that’s made of wood.

“I thought this one could be the goal of where you want to be. We will get you a wolf too when you’re ready.” Liam smiles.

Theo’s not an emotional person by nature. Never has been. He looks at the gift and determines what he is feeling. Sad? Maybe touched? He doesn’t like it. He looks in the rearview mirror to see them smiling. Theo puts the gift on the dashboard of the truck.

“Thanks.”

S5 Theo may have been slightly evil, but he was also pretty whenever he appeared, so there's that...

I'm going to talk about (and rate) 9/technically 10 of Theo's best appearances/outfits from my screenshots folder of season 5. I'm doing this in no particular order by the way.

1. First of all, this look was nothing shy of ✨ANGELIC✨ I loved the plain black V-neck shirt; it was simple, but *chef's kiss* simple.

This was also one of the few times I actually really liked his hair being cut that way.

Oh, and the lighting was AMAZING with how it really drove home that angelic look.

10/10 without a doubt 💫

2. Okay, so Theo wasn't completely decent here. I have respectfully covered him up a bit with a nice shirt (I tried to, but the marker doesn't scale and I wasn't painting the entire torso.)

This appearance was top tier from the way he terrorized Liam and Mason after chasing them as a wolf, for some reason. (I still don't know why Theo did that.)

From his smirky face and snarky attitude to the god awful night time lighting, this scene has it all. (I was uncomfortable when Theo walked away and we saw his bare ass legs, though. No, thank you.)

7/10 because Theo was very entertaining, but them bare legs was a no for me 😔

3. For this one you get a double feature simply because he's wearing the same outfit.

I loved the class scene with Theo's fun little confident air about him. I also loved the superhero landing scene as Theo went to confront Liam and Stiles about stalking him in the woods.

Theo just had to turn the tables on them and hide in a tree, then he just HAD to jump out of it and land like Superman to show off.

His hoodie was also very lovely and nice. It looked very comfortable 🥰

Only 8/10 for this one, though, because the drawstrings should have been black.

4. Anyone who has ever read some of my posts on here knows how much I LOVE this look and scene!!!

I am very biased, but every aspect of this scene was breathtaking and masterful.

From the very good mood lighting in the rain (I love rain) to the perfectly shaped eyebrows on his face.

Oh, and you can't see his outfit, but that jacket with red and black plaid sleeves was so GOOOOOD looking. It suited him so well!!!

10/10 because Theo was amazing here and his look went hard in that rain 🤭

5. This scene was amazing for both Thiam and Thayden reasons.

I'll be the first to admit that his outfit wasn't great. His hair did save the day along with his posture and the way he looked at Liam, taunting him 🫣👀

From the way Theo was standing close to Hayden to the way he kept his eyes on Liam almost the entire time, this scene has it all.

9/10 because while the outfit sucked, the scene itself was top tier 😘

6. Now, I haven't gotten to this scene in my (second) rewatch and I don't totally remember it, but the look goes HARD.

Theo's hair looks amazingly evil here. His jacket is top tier with how cool it looks. The lighting is just going to prove that Theo is a literal angel sent from below. Last, but not least, the WAY he's looking away is ALAKAKSSJSHJSJSSJSN.

10/10 and must I say why? 😉

7. I don't totally remember this scene either other than Theo talking about first loves in that jacket. Plus, a very soft scene with Scott that makes you think they were childhood crushes.

That memory alone has been ingrained into my brain so I love this look on Theo forever now.

Regardless of that scene, Theo looks amazing in that black jacket and his hair looks perfect!!!

11/10 because his scene with Scott really sold it 🥹

8. This look was just so hrrrrrm. In a good way.

The pompous flirty boy attitude and the JACKET that sells it ALL. I love that jacket so much, I want to wear that jacket. Not because Theo has worn it, but because it's a really nice jacket and it accentuates all of his torso so well. He has such canonically good taste.

I, unfortunately, have to digress that this scene is not 10/10 for me because of its atrociously depressive lighting. Somehow, Jeff Davis managed to ruin this perfect scene (aside from the dumb flirting with Malia) with some bottom tier level lighting.

3/10 fck you, Jeff 🤬

9. HRRRM.

Last, but, ooooooOooOOOOH, so not least. This scene wasn't anything special really, but the OUTFIT. The hair is okay, but the OUTFIT.

I love, love, LOVE this top on Theo so much. It suits him so well!!!!!!

Oh, and the POSE. HRM.

20/10 because I make the rules and I'm a simp for Theo Raeken 🥳

Caregiver Melissa McCall headcanons

basically her just taking care of different people in the pack

warnings: mentions of Allison’s moms death

she mainly takes care of Scott as he is her son, but she has zero problem taking care of anyone else in the pack

when someone slips she puts aside whatever might be going on and takes care of them, though she is always sure to text someone else in the pack that the person isn’t up for fighting or researching at the moment

her and Noah sometimes do play dates with Stiles & Scott while either of them is at work since they’re both single parents

Chris becomes a part of it after Allison’s mom dies

Melissa really likes when she gets a turn to take care of one of the girls in the pack since she never got a chance to have a girl after Scott was born

Malia & Kira & Allison get watched over by her the most frequently, Lydia & Hayden usually opt for someone else from the pack to watch them if they’re little

Melissa likes to have lunch “dates” with Derek (and sometimes peter) to catch up about what the littles have been getting up to and to talk about caregiver struggles that they can’t talk about with a lot of other people

She’s always sure to check in on Derek since she knows he’s not close with Noah & that Chris can get busy with work stuff

Since she’s a nurse she’s always got a backpack on her stocked with anything the littles might need

Snacks, drinks, toys, bandages, wound cleaner, gauze, extra clothes, hair ties, really everything and anything

She likes to take some of the littles on day trips to the zoo or aquarium or on a hike and is sure to have everything packed up

She plans different activities catered to whoever she may be watching, never wanting to bore the littles

Hikes usually mean she’s taking Malia, Scott & Theo as they like to run around in the woods and get excited about making it to the tops of hills

Aquariums are usually for Allison, Isaac, Hayden, they’re more on the laid back side and enjoy walking around quietly (though it’s a 50/50 if Hayden wants to drag Theo or Liam along and that definitely adds some chaos)

Zoos are definitely Kira’s favorite place to go but sometimes it’ll end up being Kira, Lydia, Stiles and maybe Mason even though he’s a caregiver himself

Parks are Stiles’ favorite and most times Liam, Hayden, Theo and Scott will go along and they end up playing some intricate game that Melissa can’t really follow

She has no problem getting in the mud or up on a slide or on the swings to play with the littles

Loves having movie days where everyone comes over and they eat a ton of snacks (she totally doesn’t just let noah & chris run around with the littles while her & derek eat candy, noooo, she’d neverrrrrr /sar)

Disney & Pixar movie lover!!! will watch any one that any little chooses no matter how many times she’s seen it already

Avid fort maker & lover, it’s where Scott gets it from

She likes to host barbecues over the summer where everyone from the pack is welcome (probably rents a bounce house for the littles too)

Such a good cook that littles will come over just to ask her (politely) to make them something to eat, she never denies

Her & Peter like to cook together occasionally since he’s trained in it and always has new recipes to try

Cuddles and hugs for daysssss, if anyone is having a bad day she’s there to scoop them up and hold them close
