Louis vs. Daily Mail Australia
So the Daily Mail Australia had been making negative articles about Louis since he arrived in Australia. So far they had made 2, the first one when he arrived at the airport and now about the Australian Open event. This second one this is the title:
Tumblr media
This is a quote from the article:
Louis failed to crack a smile as he headed into the event and kept his designer sunglasses firmly on.
He look so amazing in the photos and not everyone smiles for this photo events and this writer is making a judgment assumption just because Louis doesn't match his standarts in photos?
Some observations that I did comparing both articles below.
In both articles: 1) They first mention the event (airport/australian open) 2) His next shows in Australia 3) Start to mention his last interview with an Australia tv show The project when one of the host try to make drama between Louis and Liam and Louis call him out.
It really is like a copy paste article, I just check and is the exact paragraph for paragraph about the project interview and both end without a proper closure to the article just a last quote for Louis in that interview.
This for me is that they are to lazy to write something new, wanting to make controversial articles for clicks and try to make Louis look bad when in reality Louis was really smart how did answer in that interview.
I really don't know what it's because another media press call The News International they did an article about Louis arriving a Australia and they did a similar thing like the daily mail: 1) They mention he arrived at the airport 2) Mention his shows 3) Mention the project interview. Althought in this article after mentioning that interview they said this quote:
The exchange showcased Louis's protective stance on the band's legacy, leaving fans curious about how he'll navigate such questions in the future.
So at least is better than the the daily mail but I just personally don't see the need to keep bringing that interview again. Why they don't talk about that Louis make a contest so australian musicians play in his shows? Or talk about any of the many achievments Louis has done recently? Or is just they didn't like Louis response with the australian press in that interview or just always go for something controversial to talk about?
Anyway I wanted to share it in case somebody is insterested to know. I copy paste both articles (they are link on the top of this post) so in case you want to read it don't give them clicks.

RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — More than half a million people in Gaza — a quarter of the population — are starving, according to a report Thursday by the U.N. and other agencies that highlights the humanitarian crisis caused by Israel’s bombardment and siege on the territory in response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack. The extent of the population’s hunger eclipsed even the near-famines in Afghanistan and Yemen of recent years, according to figures in the report. The report warned that the risk of famine is “increasing each day,” blaming the hunger on insufficient aid entering Gaza. “It doesn’t get any worse,’’ said Arif Husain, chief economist for the U.N.’s World Food Program. “I have never seen something at the scale that is happening in Gaza. And at this speed.” ... At the start of the war, Israel stopped all deliveries of food, water, medicine and fuel into the territory. After U.S. pressure, it allowed a trickle of aid in through Egypt. But U.N. agencies say only 10% of Gaza’s food needs has been entering for weeks. (Dec. 21, 2023 | Source)

Article date: September 30, 2024
NEW YORK -- The union representing U.S. dockworkers has signaled that 45,000 members will walk off the job at midnight, kicking off a massive strike likely to shut down ports across the East and Gulf coasts. The coming work stoppage threatens to significantly snarl the nation's supply chain, potentially leading to higher prices and delays for households and businesses if it drags on for weeks. That's because the strike by members of the International Longshoremen's Association could cause 36 ports — which handle roughly half of the goods shipped into and out of the U.S. — to shutter operations. ILA confirmed over the weekend that its members would hit the picket lines at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday. In a Monday update, the union continued to blame the United States Maritime Alliance, which represents the ports, for continuing to “to block the path” towards an agreement before the contract deadline. “The Ocean Carriers represented by USMX want to enjoy rich billion-dollar profits that they are making in 2024, while they offer ILA Longshore Workers an unacceptable wage package that we reject," ILA said in a prepared statement. ILA longshore workers deserve to be compensated for the important work they do keeping American commerce moving and growing." ILA also accused shippers of “gouging their customers" with sizeable price increases for containers over recent weeks. The union said that this will result in increased costs for American consumers.

I seriously want to know why they took her body. I also want to know (and pardon how ghoulish this is) if she still has all her organs, given the reports of bodies being desecrated and harvested.
There is no justice in this world, my days, she was just a little girl.

(Note: See updated post) The new DRAFT U.N. Resolution, set to be voted on today, calls for:
• ... “urgent and extended humanitarian pauses” in the fighting throughout Gaza and the opening of corridors inside the enclave “for a sufficient number of days to enable full, rapid, safe and unhindered humanitarian access.” • U.N. Secretary General António Guterres to appoint a senior coordinator “with responsibility for facilitating, coordinating, monitoring, and verifying in Gaza, as appropriate, the humanitarian nature” of all assistance, and demands that “the parties to the conflict cooperate with the coordinator to fulfill their mandate without delay or obstruction.” • ... “immediate and unconditional” release of the hostages. It also demands that “all parties to the conflict comply with their obligations under international law ... including with regard to the conduct of hostilities and the protection of civilians and civilian objects.” • It reiterates the council’s “unwavering commitment” to a two-state solution for Israelis and Palestinians and “stresses the importance of unifying the Gaza Strip with the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority.” (12/22/23 | Source: WaPo)
Although the resolution's language was toned down, this is a sign of progress. While such measures are long overdue and should have been honored from the start, we must do everything possible to meet the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza and relieve unfathomable suffering.
DON'T STOP POSTING. KEEP UP THE PUBLIC PRESSURE. DEFEND HUMAN RIGHTS.
Stay tuned for today's vote.
